The Mama, You're Doing Great! podcast is an incredible resource for mothers everywhere. Hosted by Kendahl, this podcast dives into topics that many mothers think about but often struggle to speak out loud. With each episode, Kendahl reminds us all that we are doing great and that we are all doing the best we can as mothers. This podcast is a breath of fresh air and a reminder of the importance of self-compassion and understanding in motherhood.
One of the best aspects of The Mama, You're Doing Great! podcast is the range of topics discussed. Kendahl covers everything from the challenges of motherhood to the joys and triumphs. Whether it's navigating work-life balance, dealing with mom guilt, or finding self-care strategies, there is something in every episode that mothers can resonate with. The honesty and vulnerability in each conversation create a safe space for listeners to feel understood and supported.
Another aspect that sets this podcast apart is Kendahl's ability to make her guests feel comfortable enough to open up and share their experiences. Through her thoughtful questions and empathy, she creates an environment where mothers can be honest about both the good and bad aspects of motherhood. This authenticity allows listeners to feel less alone in their struggles while also providing valuable insights on how others have handled similar situations.
Unfortunately, one potential drawback of this podcast is its lack of diversity in certain areas. While Kendahl does an excellent job addressing various aspects of motherhood, there could be more inclusion when it comes to different parenting styles or cultural backgrounds. Including a wider range of experiences would help make this podcast even more relatable to a broader audience.
In conclusion, The Mama, You're Doing Great! podcast is a remarkable resource for all mothers. With each episode, Kendahl provides encouragement and support while tackling important topics surrounding motherhood. Her ability to create an open and authentic space makes this podcast feel like listening to a group of close girlfriends sharing their experiences. "Why won't you sleep?!"Sleep advice often overlooks the diverse needs of parents and their children, failing to account for varying temperaments and challenges. And we can just take a moment to acknowledge that there is SO much advice out there?? Raising a child who is intense, sensitive, alert, and persistent can present unique difficulties, but it also brings remarkable strengths. The presumed research backing traditional sleep training methods often lacks comprehensive evidence and ignores individual differences. Mama's, it's time to shift our perspective on sleep training, embracing approaches that honor each child's temperament and family dynamics!! Encouraging moms of strong-willed children to explore alternative strategies that suit their child's needs fosters a sense of empowerment and community, reminding them they are not alone in this journey.CONNECT WITH GUEST:WEBSITE: http://www.littlelivewires.comINSTAGRAM HANDLE: @littlelivewiresCONNECT WITH HOST:Website: www.mamayouredoinggreat.comIG: @kendahlyanezWant to get connected with other mamas like you?Join the CommunityText the word WELCOME to 855.486.5757 or sign-up HERE to get a weekly encouragement text delivered straight to your phone!SPONSOR LINKS:https://www.instagram.com/homedentalofficial/https://www.instagram.com/homedentalofficial/http://www.elliekaty.com/https://www.instagram.com/elliekatytx/

Mamas we often cherish and celebrate their children's first milestones with immense joy and excitement...However, amidst the flurry of firsts, it's equally crucial to savor and be fully present for the lasts. The last time a child reaches for your hand, the last bedtime story, or the last hug before they outgrow your lap are moments that hold profound significance. These fleeting lasts remind us of the transient nature of time and the importance of relishing every precious moment, for we never truly know when the last time will come, leaving behind cherished memories that we'll forever hold dear.http://www.elliekaty.com/https://www.instagram.com/elliekatytx/http://home-dental.com/https://www.instagram.com/homedentalofficial/CONNECT WITH HOST: www.mamayouredoinggreat.com @kendahlyanezWant to get connected with other mamas like you?Join the CommunityText the word WELCOME to 855.486.5757 or sign-up HERE to get a weekly encouragement text delivered straight to your phone!

In the depths of grief from a young age, a traumatic NICU journey, and the dark shadows of depression, Lacy shares what ultimately got her through it all...God. Losing her dad at the tender age of 10 plunged her into a sea of grief, a sorrow that would later morph into a deep, dark depression as she navigated the complexities of growing up. In the depths of despair, she found solace by surrendering it ALL to the Lord, trusting in his guidance to lift the weight she couldn't carry alone. As life unfolded, the NICU became another chapter. Boundaries isn't a new word, but during my conversation with Dr. Emily Jacobs, you can see boundaries with a NEW perspective. "Is your boundary worth your self-respect or is it not?"Dr. Emily Jacobs is an author, speaker, nurse, wife, mother, and Founder of Empowered Moms - a community where we raise the bars for mothers who know they are worthy of more, to overcome fear and guilt, break cycles, and pursue dreams beyond motherhood. With over 20 years of healthcare in nursing and corporate leadership experience, Emily started her endeavor coaching healthcare providers and moms ready to up-level life, create healthy boundaries, recognize toxicity, and recover from their burnout stories.Setting healthy boundaries in motherhood is an act of self-care and can honestly be downright uncomfortable. By embracing these boundaries, moms cultivate an environment where their worthiness isn't tied solely to giving endlessly...but also to acknowledge their needs and well-being. We want to model for our children the importance of self-respect and balance laying the groundwork for a future where peace and fulfillment aren't sacrificed for the sake of others.CONNECT WITH GUEST:http://empoweredmoms.co@dremilyjacobsCONNECT WITH HOST:Website: www.mamayouredoinggreat.comIG: @kendahlyanezWant to get connected with other mamas like you?Join the CommunityText the word WELCOME to 855.486.5757 or sign-up HERE to get a weekly encouragement text delivered straight to your phone!Conference Info: Text the word CONFERENCE to 855.486.5757 or mamayouredoinggreat.com/conference

Katie is back for part 2 of her story. If you haven't listened to part 1, go back to episode 45 & listen. It is all about her traumatic loss and how it led her to the start of her rainbow miracle.Part 2 is her testimony about how God can turn evil for good. The doctors recommended termination of pregnancy and said the baby would not be viable. She trusted God for a miracle and oh did, he came through.Between lots of tears, laughter & even the lawn mowers in the background, Katie is such a good story teller & her stories are very detailed. This episode is heavy but has multiple blessings throughout with God's hand on them the whole time. I suggest not listening to it with little ears.If you are going through a dark time & not knowing what is happening or what is next, this is a great story to be able to relate to & see how powerful the power of prayer really is.
