One year ago, I setoff on a crazy adventure. I started a podcast, and recorded myself talking into a weird bulging mic for ~30 minutes every single week.

By now, I assume you've probably heard a bit about the Bachelor franchise.
Here's the reality… If you're based in the U.S., you're heading into the summer. And, if you have kids, you know what that means.
A lot can happen in a decade, which is how long it's been since I first met my friend Liz Bohannon! Liz is a social entrepreneur (best known for co-founding and leading Sseko Designs), a bestselling author, speaker, podcast host, AND a past client of P&P. Watching Liz's platform grow from near and far over the past decade has been wildly incredible, especially getting to play a small part in it. Although it seems Liz has done it all, she did start somewhere. She wrote a fantastic book called Beginners Pluck to recount her small beginnings and teach us women how to lean into a season of new. That we bring magic into our own lives and businesses because we are beginners, NOT in spite of it! And in today's episode, she expands on her book and the art of dreaming small to achieve big, so you can too. If you've been looking for a sign to start something new, grab those headphones. Come hangout with Liz and me on this week's episode of the Marketing Your Purpose podcast, and embrace your Inner Beginner. See you there! Want more after this episode? When I first set out to create the Marketing Your Purpose podcast, one of my greatest weapons was my email list. Creating a carefully thought through list was no easy task. It took energy, time and investing in a strategy that as my new friend Rachel Lopez of Gal Agency describes was manageable and sustainable. But, that didn't happen overnight. So, my goal here today is to make your email marketing strategy simpler. With the help of Rachel, we're covering three questions you should ask yourself when starting your own email list at any stage of business, including: ➟ Where are you at in your business? ➟ What can email do for you? ➟ How will email fit into your entire marketing ecosystem? When Rachel first reached out to be a guest, I was most excited about her belief that your marketing should feel as good as your purpose. If amping up your email marketing strategy, and being more intentional in your biz are on your radar in 2024, tune into this episode. I am not the only one talking about annual planning, and for good reason. Annual planning and goal setting is crucial to growth. Annual plans help us hit our goals, but also direct our time. How we choose to allocate our time is a gift. If we're not good stewards of it, it ends up directing us. So, annual plans help us avoid this! I'm curious… have you decided how you will spend your time in 2024? Have you strategically planned for milestones you want to hit? Businesses or offers you want to launch? Things you want to do? If you have, great, but have you incorporated all parts of you into your annual plans? Annual planning and goal setting shouldn't be saved for just our professional life. It should include our personal, relational, physical and spiritual goals too. If you desire to bring all parts of you into your annual planning and goal setting and need a process that works, I have something for you. Whether you're a total planner like me (hey girl!) or run a little more spontaneously, this week, we're bringing you Your Annual Plan Reset: 7 Steps to Including All of You in Your 2024 Goals. From getting placed in a dream publication to multiple, unplugged vacations with your family, we'll help you relook at all your deep desires, map them out + make them happen in the new year.
