After being furloughed from her job working at Nordstrom due to the pandemic, she took her passion for cooking and connection and started baking cookies, specifically sea salt chocolate chip, to deliver to friends around Los Angeles. Though what began as a way to bring a little more sweetness to these challenging times, her cookies quickly gained notice and in April of 2020, Lara created Fleurs et Sel, a local baking company that creates sweet treats in small batches. Some of the signature flavors include Brownie Noir Extreme to Oatmeal Raisin. She's hosted pop-ups and concept shops including at the Grove where she sold out in just two hours! And not only are her treats adored by celebrities but also by studios like Netflix and National Geographic. In this episode, Lara shares what it was like creating Fleurs et Sel and how she cultivates connection and relationships through baked goods! She also share's her gems for all entrepreneurs and culinary creatives out there. If you love the show then give us a follow and leave a review. Share the show on your socials.
