    Melinda Gindy has a background in music teaching across primary and secondary settings and is the Leader of Diverse Learning at Regents Park Christian School, a K-12 school in Sydney, Australia. Melinda is the President of the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented (AAEGT) and represents the AAEGT at the Australian Alliance for Associations in Education (AAAE). Melinda is the Founding President of Gifted NSW (Formally GFSG Inc.), the NSW association represented on the AAEGT. She is the former AAEGT Vice-President (2015 - 2019) and was founding National Facilitator of Gifted Awareness Week Australia from 2015 to 2019. Melinda is also an Australian Delegate to the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children. Melinda served on the organising committees for the 2016 AAEGT National Gifted Conference, the 2017 and 2019 NSW Gifted Awareness Forum for Educators (GAFE), and the 22nd Biennial World Gifted Conference.     Siobhan is a Neurodivergent Educator, Speaker, Writer and Advocate. Her husband, three children and herself are all Neurodivergent with a mix of Autism, ADHD, giftedness, Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. An experienced teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry for over 20 years in Special Education (specializing in Autism, ADHD, Giftedness and Dyslexia), Science and Maths in both Australia and Singapore. Siobhan started her career completing a BSc (hons) and then simultaneously completing a PhD in Physical/Theoretical Chemistry and a Masters of Teaching. She is currently completing a Masters of Education in Cognitive Diversity (2e- Gifted and Special Needs). Siobhan, together with another Neurodivergent teacher, have begun an Educational Consultancy business in Sydney which conducts PD at schools, supports parents at school meetings, coaches parents to become more successful advocates for their children, and work with Neurodivergent children to help build their self-awareness and self-advocacy skills through a strength-based talent development model. Siobhan holds a unique position as a Neurodivergent advocate and mediator for children at school. She has sat in everyone's chair: the teacher, the parent and the child themselves.
