We took the Thanksgiving week off but are back with lots to discuss in just over an hour. We discuss 7 trades so if you like trade talk, this podcast if for you. As usual, we first did updates on standings and match-ups in the two Listener's Leagues. The playoff pictures are becoming clearer but not finalized at all in either league. Out of the seven trades, three were from one of the podcast leagues and Jay found some other interesting ones from other leagues. Lots of variety and players being dealt as only Alvin Kamara was involved in more than one deal. We review what's happened in the past two weeks, but really dig into the big Week 13 story which is Deshaun Watson returning from his suspension to play against the Houston Texans. It's overshadowing some great and likely high scoring 4 PM games, such as Miami vs. San Francisco and Kansas City vs. Cincinnati. Both of them pick QBs in those 4 PM games as their Player of the Week, but neither pick is Patrick Mahomes. Finally, Jay picks his Bust of the Week first and then Steve picks some "low hanging fruit" as Jay called it for his Bust of the Week. Last week, we were a day early and this week, it's a day later than usual. With a Friday AM recording, we knew that the Cleveland-Buffalo game would be played in Detroit and the results of the Titans-Packers Thursday Night Football game. We did updates on standings and match-ups in the two Listener's Leagues. Both leagues are close with a lot of teams in contention for the playoffs. We made time to discuss trades, including an interesting podcast league one involving six receivers (5 WRs and a TE), including Cooper Kupp. Very out of the box thinking on that deal. The rest of the trades were typical Dynasty Owner trades, but all close calls in terms of who "won" the deal. Since it's Friday, we largely skip the Week 10 recap (except for some discussion of the Bills-Vikings game and Justin Jefferson's amazing catch). Jay is looking forward to the Dallas-Minnesota game, and picks Josh Allen as his Player of the Week and Baker Mayfield as the Bust of the Week. Steve thinks Justin Jefferson has a 50+ yard TD this week so Jefferson is Steve's Player of the Week. It's Week 7 of the NFL and Dynasty Owner season and some big teams are on bye this week (Buffalo, Minnesota, Philadelphia and Los Angeles Rams). First up are the Listener's League standings, Week 6 game results and Week 7 game previews. We had an undefeated team (Black and Gold) in one of the LIsteners' Leagues, but no more as they lost to 126.3 to 112.34 to THE DOTHRAKI. Congrats to the team who's name is constantly changing on still being undefeated in the other Listeners' League. Their current name is The Curious Case of Eno Benjamin. Trade talk is next on the agenda as Steve (@SteveVT33) and Jay Pounds (@jaypoundsnfl) go over several recent Dynasty Owner trades, including one in a Listeners' League that has Jay pleading for someone to offer him the same deal. Next are their thoughts about Week 6 and the upcoming Week 7 games with the strong starts by the Jets and Giants overshadowing the same for the Vikings.
