On this edition of The Sam Bussell, Sam talks about the Oscars finding the next producers for the telecast including a big time director. Plus, look at the MCU rumor mill, what David Fincher film inspired Ben Affleck Batman and more.
With Batman 2021 shutting down it's production recently, all I'm left to do is wishful thinking in my head... Just living in the land of DC ideas that could be amazing if I had a say so. Being as though Batfleck is my favorite version by far, I realized that the closest I've gotten to anything resembling Arkham Asylum was the warehouse fight scene in BvS. So with that being said, I came up with some popular villains who would be simply epic to go up against Batsy in that type of scenario on screen. Just the thought of this gets me hyped up. Enjoy, y'all.

In this episode, Joe, Andrew, and Jef sit down to try to find the good in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but as our heroes discover, there isn't much good about the film that isn't bogged down by something bad. The end result is... balanced, looking at Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Godot's Wonder Woman, the score, the action and lack thereof, earning character moments, and the destructive potential films like this have on society. The guys dream cast a new writing/directing team for the film and of course discuss Batman's guilty pleasures. Before that however, Joe and Andrew sit down with Justin Gibson who is a lifelong fan of DC comics and really enjoys BvS, but most importantly is in the film as a featured extra. Justin talks about getting involved with the film, life on set, and the smell of Zack Snyder's cologne.
