Recently the Australian Institute of Sport released a revamped version of their world renowned Supplement Framework. Over the coming episodes, we put a spotlight on each group - Here comes Group C. The C Group in supps is not a great place to be. It is where the supps that had previously shown potential go once evidence becomes less than impressive. The science is either not supportive of benefit to performance OR no research has yet been undertaken to guide it's use. There are some big names in here that we are positive you will all want to hear more about - especially magnesium, HMB, the ever popular BCAA and prebiotics. In this episode of the Ridiculously Amazing Insurance Agent podcast, host Kelly Donahue-Piro interviews Josh Callahan, Principal Agent at C Group Insurance. Josh talks about how to cross-sell life insurance and what happens when you get life leads that don't qualify. Episode Highlights: Josh shares his background. (3:06) What tier is Josh in Erie? (4:11) Josh shares the strategies he uses to cross-sell life insurance. (5:47) What was the reason some people weren't buying life insurance from Josh? (7:29) Josh mentions the program they developed for their CSRs. (8:26) Josh explains what a final expense is all about. (13:31) Josh shares his thoughts on how COVID changed the life insurance conversation. (20:54) Josh mentions why the underwriting process wasn't simple in the beginning. (23:16) Josh gives a short background about his company, Agency Final Expense Solutions. (29:22) Key Quotes: “Basically, what we did, is we figured out a way to get our CSRs involved... which is the number one thing. I'd love to say that I was the greatest thing since... whatever, for selling life insurance... But, if you're an agency owner, your CSR is the key to whether or not you sell off insurance, whether you know it or not.” - Josh Callahan “I think we can show any agency, whether you're a one-man shop with one CSR. If you've got 40 people, that's the kind of people we're working with right now, and we're excited about what it's going to look like.” - Josh Callahan “The biggest thing is making sure your CSRs are not scared and they're able to just transition into it. It's amazing. They get better and better every time, once they realize how people are willing to talk to you about it.” - Josh Callahan Resources Mentioned: Josh Callahan C Group Insurance Agency Final Expense Solutions Kelly Donahue-Piro LinkedIn Agency Performance Partners

Communion, Common - Union, Community Why is Community so important? Because people were created for community. Genesis 2:18 Community means Responsibility Romans 12:4-5 Tells us about a church's Unity Diversity Mutuality We respond individually to an invitation to live corporately Community means Accountability Hebrews 10:24-25 We are to act in the best interest of those with whom we fellowship. Community means Growing Disciples. Acts 2:42-47 God designed Communal living for everyone's best. Communion Who do you want to see at the Lord's table? C- Group Who could you find to join you? When could you get togehter with someone? What would you like to learn? Will you be part of a growing discipleship? Community Groups (C-Groups) Ephesians 4:11-13 And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for works of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ. Steps to Start a C-Group 1. Find at least one other person to join you. consider inviting someone outside the church as well as those inside - pray for an opportunity to invite a non-disciple to join your C-Group 2. Decide on place, time, and frequency of "get together". This way you can find a time to meet their busy schedules. 3. Choose a resource - suggest using RightNow Media. You can base your group on a particular study or topic, ie a study on Mark, parenting, finances, etc. 4. Inform the Church of your C-Group. This will enable us to pray for your C-Group. We also can help connect other people to your group. This will let us promote groups through our various resources as well as continue to encourage and minister to the groups of our church. We think it would greatly benefit everyone to be a part of a C-Group! The care and depth of relationships formed this way is true fellowship. The opportunity to engage with the Bible where you ask questions and seek answers is so important. Intimate prayer takes place as the group starts opening up. Accountability is fostered in a group setting that really grows a person's discipleship, and the sense of belonging is so crucial to faith development. Please pray and consider either starting or joining a C-Group.
