Humans and apes have similarities as well as massive differences. Creationists and evolutionists agree there's similarity but not why we have similarities.
Creationists use the true history from God's Word as a framework for interpreting the world around us.
Geologists Marcus Ross and Tom Zoutewelle join Paul and Todd in this special episode! Last year, Paul and Marcus attended a creationist conference in France with Tom, and in this episode Todd learns all about French geology. What sort of rocks can we see in the Paris Basin? What is the Paris Basin anyway? How does the Paris Basin display the geology of the Flood? Find out in this episode!
Science has been hijacked by a naturalistic worldview that completely excludes God. But this isn't science—it's a philosophical assumption!

Many evolutionists say that creationists can't be scientists because they reject evolution and millions of years. This is ridiculous!
Many Christians find themselves unsure how to respond when confronted with common atheist arguments. In this episode, apologist Keaton Halley addresses five frequently encountered challenges: Who created God? Aren't Christians atheists regarding other gods? Can God make a rock too heavy to lift? Would you believe differently if raised elsewhere? And is God just filling gaps in scientific knowledge? Keaton exposes the fundamental logical flaws in each argument while providing Christians with confident, reasoned responses. Drawing from his background in apologetics, he demonstrates how these challenges fail to undermine Christianity, and explains why evidence from science and philosophy actually points toward God's existence rather than away from it. ✍️ Links and Show Notes God Questions and Answers Who Created God? This week your host Fred Williams and co-host Doug McBurney welcome Dr. Royal Truman to air his concerns regarding assertions that "Professor Dave" (David James Farina) makes against creation scientists. *The Royal Treatment: Royal Truman, PhD received his bachelor's degrees in chemistry and in computer science from SUNY Buffalo, an M.B.A from the University of Michigan, a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Michigan State with post-graduate studies in bioinformatics at the universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim in Germany. Royal believes the God of Abraham created the universe recently, and that His Son Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. *Setting the Stage: Concern Zero: Professor Dave claims there are no credible chemists in the creation science community. *The Disappearing Evolutionist: Concern #1: Professor Dave claims there is no such word as "evolutionist." Someday, by the grace of God, we hope he's not mistaken! *Whale of an Error: Concern #2: Dr. Truman helps Professor Dave and his audience understand the Hebrew word in the Bible for the great fish that swallowed Jonah. *Just Batty: Concern #3: More help for the good professor understanding the Hebrew word in the Bible that describes bats and flying creatures. *Constant Lunacy? Concern #4: Dr. Truman explains that Creationists assume that the rate of lunar recession was faster in the past, (contrary to Professor Dave's "bunk", we do not say it was constant). *The Slow Kid... Concern #5: Dr. Truman points out Professor Dave's misunderstanding of the mathematics describing the celestial mechanics regarding lunar recession. *The Mind of a Child : Concern #6: Professor Dave alleges that creation scientists misrepresent "the Big Bang" as an explosion that instantly produced fully formed planets. But we all know that creation scientists are perfectly capable of describing the Big Bang in all its absurdity, just as the evolutionists do, (typically right before we debunk it). *Abiogenesis: Concern #7: Professor Dave accuses creation scientists of oversimplifying the enormously sophisticated origin of life research, experiments and theories that have failed for decades to produce even a basic algorithm for abiogenesis that either a PhD or a 6th grader could call convincing. *Sprouting Off: Concern #8: Professor Dave says creation scientists accuse evolutionists of portraying creatures that suddenly sprout wings and appendages alá Richard Goldshmidt's Hopeful Monster! *Probability & Protein: Concern #9: Most people (creationists and evolutionists) outside specialized fields within genetics are not aware that genes and proteins can vary in composition along their sequence. Professor Dave pretends this common ignorance reflects what creation scientists believe, and then unleashes a torrent of vulgar insults, "poisoning the well" for a civil debate. *Competence & Condescension: Concern #10: Professor Dave claims there are no competent scientists in the creation science universe. *Setting the Table: Concern #11: Dr. Truman sets up a scholarly review of concerns 11-17 of Professor Dave's so-called creationist debunk video.

The Coso Artifact - a man-made, cylindrical object apparently encased in a geode - was discovered by Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey and Mike Mikesell while prospecting for gems in Olancha, California on February 13th, 1961. The OOPArt (or ‘out-of-place artifact') caused a sensation amongst Creationists, Forteans and conspiracists, who believed it might be up to half a million years old - but has since been identified as a 1920s-era Champion spark plug. In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly consider whether the ‘Rock Hounds' were deliberately defrauding people, or were just open-minded enthusiasts; ask why their find had such resonance with Creationists, when its existence cannot be consistent with the world being merely thousands of years old; and reveal how the ‘mystery' was conclusively debunked… Further Reading: • ‘When Some 1920s Garbage Was Mistaken for an Ancient Artifact' (Smithsonian Magazine, 2017): https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/1920s-garbage-or-ancient-artifact-probably-1920s-garbage-180962081/ • ‘Hidden History - Lost Civilizations, Secret Knowledge, and Ancient Mysteries, By Brian Haughton' (Red Wheel/Weiser, 2007): https://www.google.co.uk/books/edition/Hidden_History/295EDwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=coso+artifact&pg=PT173&printsec=frontcover • ‘Coso Artifact: Science Triumphs Over Theorists' (Science For Everyone, 2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GawHMQpIGrU Love the show? In a recent presentation on human-chimp similarities to LOGOS Research Associates, I made the (correct) claim that most new mutations are lost. An opponent attempted to make hay of this, claiming it disproves the 'creationist' calculations of the time to Y Chromosome Adam and Mitochondrial Eve. What he failed to understand, however, is that the Y and mt chromosomes are haploid and behave very differently to the rest of the genome. In fact, mutations occur in them in a ratchet-like manner and no degree of natural selection can change that. Do you want a lesson in population genetics? Tune in! We all deal with the same data, the differences in how old a creationist thinks the universe is is due to how the data is interpreted, and how reliable they think the data is. Dark matter and energy, for example, is a key issue.
Radiometric dating methods are often cited as evidence for millions of years of evolution, but are these methods reliable? Dr. Mark Harwood explores how these dating techniques rely on multiple assumptions that can be adjusted to fit pre-existing beliefs about Earth’s age. He shares startling examples of inconsistencies, like rocks of known age returning wildly inaccurate dates, challenging the accuracy of dating methods as a whole. Dr. Harwood suggests that the real authority lies in eyewitness historical accounts, particularly those found in the Bible. He discusses how adopting a deep-time perspective contradicts the biblical timeline, potentially undermining its authority and the gospel message.
Creationists do differ on the age of the universe. Often referred to as young earth or old earth creationists, this two part program discusses some of the arguments the two views present.
In this episode of The Rooted in Christ Podcast, we're sitting down with Dr. Kent Hovind, a creationist and the founder of Dino Adventure Land. Eric and Dr. Hovind go in depth on why he believes the earth is only 6000 years old and why modern mainstream science is wrong. Dr. Menton explains the wonders of the created eye and the meaning of the BIBLICAL term "apple of the eye."
A few years ago the "Creation Community" lost a great spokesman, Dr. David Menton. Professor for decades in Washington University (St. Louis) Medical School, and part of Answers In Genesis, his expertise in biological systems is greatly missed. Dr. Scripture interviewed Dr. Menton in 2019; what we discussed is still totally relevant.
Creationists and evolutionists both study the same fossils, the same rocks, the same world but come to very different interpretations because of our worldviews.
Neanderthals got their name from a valley that was, in turn, named after a beloved pastor and hymnwriter named Joachim Neander. Thus, since their first discovery, they have been associated with Christianity, believe it or not. Problem is, Neanderthals have been consistently used as arguments against the very foundation of Christianity: the Bible. Can we incorporate these enigmatic people into any sort of biblical history? If so, how? Dr Rob gives his solution here. Neanderthals are a post-Flood people group, descendants of Adam and Eve, and descendants of Noah. There were fully human, but also highly mutated. Creationism Disproves Evolution Dr. Kent Hovind Dr. Kent Hovind has been preaching the Gospel for over 50 years as a pastor and evangelist and has had over 350 debates against atheists. He is the founder the “Dinosaur Adventure Land” in Lennox, Alabama. I've been looking forward to our discussion today… for those that have followed me, you know that I love sharing information with you on these topics of disproving the stuff being taught today about the earth being billions upon billions of years old. I believe exactly what the Bible says and I believe the earth and everything else was formed exactly as the Bible says…and we have had other experts on in the past that provided insights in this area that backs up that proof. Amen! With that being said, help me welcome to the program, Dr. Kent Hovind! Dr. Kent, thank you for taking the time to join us today! First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Dr. Kent Hovind?” How did you get involved with debating those who oppose the Creationist point of view from the Bible? How did you get started with the “Dinosaur Adventure Land?” What do you believe is the most compelling evidence for the Creation Theory? I interviewed an archeologist who is also a geologist several years back. He brought up an excellent contradiction to the evolutionary theorist by using something that happened in recent history – Mt. St. Helen's eruption. He said scientists went in and took some of the trees that had been burned and covered in several dozen feet of ash… as the wind and rain eroded some of the ash, they were able to dig down a bit and find these trees. They did carbon dating on these trees…that had been alive just 7-10 years prior to this – and the carbon dating came back as something like 10,000 years old. If I remember correctly, they hypothesize that the sudden rise in the temperature coupled with immediately being buried by feet of ash and the pressure, etc… caused the erroneous readings. He has used that in his presentations of the errors in the evolutionist theory. You also did calculations on the tides of the earth and how that would also account for petrified forests, etc. prior to the flood. You also share how the Grand Canyon was formed quickly, not over millions of years as science teaches. Share that with us… One thing I love to bring up in a debate… I have not conducted formal debates like you have… I'll rephrase that to a “discussion” is this… When man landed on the moon, what did they find? Nothing! Edwin Aldrin described it as a “magnificent desolation.” They found no life; no plants; no water; no atmosphere – nothing. Why? Because the moon was not made for man – earth was? Who made the earth? Go to Genesis 1 and find out! Praise God! Everything GOOD was created for man by God. All the other stuff, the moon, stars, comets, etc. – is lifeless because man was not supposed to go and live there… Your thoughts on that? You have guests that come to visit you on the “Dinosaur Adventure Land.” You advertise it is free for them to stay? What kind of interesting things will they see when they visit? Dr. Hovind, this so interesting and needful for the day and time we live. If someone wanted to get more information, maybe to ask a question or possibly to do an interview such as this… how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? You are also, as you said, able to offer all of these things at the “Dinosaur Adventure Land,” including overnight accommodations for
Creationists have long discussed rafting as one of the means by which animals migrated post-Flood. Upright trees would have acted like sails, enabling the rafts to cross intercontinental oceans relatively quickly. These trees likely sustained the raft inhabitants with food for their journey. Todays guest is just one of those guys you just need to hear him because if ya try to debate or quw=estion him, you get schooled. Dr Kent Hovind has been challenging and debating scientists and Atheists and other religious speakers for years and is kind of like the Mike Tyson of Debating Creation vs Evolution and proving the Bible true and right everytime. Plus he has a great way of explaining it and the fact that dinosaurs were real and in the bible!! He fits right in with us because he is also a Dad Joke connosieur as well! “Do you believe that stuff?” was the question that changed the course of atheist engineer Spike Psarris' life. It was a question asked by a Christian co-worker when he saw Spike reading a new-age book during a lunch break. This launched a series of conversations between the atheist and creationist that ultimately led Spike to acknowledge that his evolutionary beliefs couldn't be true. Listen as Spike shares how the evidence for creation led him to put his faith in the Creator.Spike Psarris is a former engineer in the U.S. military space program. He entered that role as an atheist and evolutionist; he left it as a creationist and a Christian. Creationists and evolutionists both study the same universe and come to very different interpretations! Why?
Every position on creation that compromises God's Word starts from outside the Bible—with man's word. And that's dangerous!
It's only when we start with God's Word that we have the right foundation for interpreting the world around us.

Nestled in the heart of Mexico, amidst the arid plains of Acámbaro, lies a mystery as perplexing as it is provocative. Discovered in the mid-20th century, a collection of thousands of ceramic artifacts challenged the very foundations of prehistoric chronology. Depicting a bizarre array of creatures that resemble dinosaurs, alongside humans in seemingly contemporary attire, these figures suggest an impossible coexistence that defies the established timeline of natural history. The discovery, initially met with intrigue and excitement, soon became the center of controversy and skepticism. Mainstream science dismisses the figures as elaborate hoaxes, yet certain enigmatic qualities of the collection resist such easy explanations. This case file, join the Theorists as we dig into the dirt and dust off the disbelief and enjoy some tasteful dino-erotica in…The Mystery of the Acámbaro Figures
