It's 8am and it don't gotta be like this,” the comedian texted West in screenshots shared by “Saturday Night Live” guest writer Dave Sirus on Sunday. “Kim is literally the best mother I've ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f–king lucky that she's your kids mom,” he continued. “I've decided im not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f**k up.” According to the screenshots — which Page Six can confirm are real — West then asked, “Oh you using profanity now. Where are you right now?” Davidson clapped back with a selfie of himself shirtless under the covers, adding, “In bed with your wife.” Check out what Pascal thinks about this whole situation! Oh Boy....
Katy Perry has won her appeal in a copyright case over her 2013 hit Dark Horse. The musician will no longer have to pay $2.8m (£2.1m) to the rapper Flame (real name Marcus Gray), who claimed that her single plagiarised an eight-note ostinato from his 2009 song Joyful Noise. Gray sued Perry and co-defendants including Capitol Records in 2016 and was initially awarded $2.8m in a jury verdict three years later. But Perry appealed and a federal district court judge vacated the verdict in March 2020. A judge from the ninth circuit court of appeals has now ruled that Gray was attempting to claim an “improper monopoly” over conventional “musical building blocks”. Pete Davidson finally addressed Kanye West's never-ending social media attacks aimed at his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, and her parenting choices in a text exchange shared to Dave Sirus' account on Sunday morning. The 28-year-old comedian, who has used Dave's account in the past — recently to share a few kind words following the death of comedian Bob Saget — demanded Kanye take his public battle somewhere else and meet him 'face to face' instead of airing dirty laundry online. Pete began the text exchange referring to his new moniker Skete before sharing that he was actually in bed with Kanye's estranged wife as he shared a thumb's up selfie showing off his arsenal of tattoos while casually laying down. Jake Paul has been sued along with a host of other celebrities for their involvement with the SafeMoon cryptocurrency. Pete Davidson had Dave Sirus post to instagram a text message conversation between Pete and Kanye. And it is outrageous. Pete goes from standing up for himself to lecturing Kanye to offering mental health help to calling out Ye as a man. It's a smorgasbord of energy, all of which probably just complicates matters. Maybe things have to get messy before they get better? But I don't think any of this really accomplishes anything. Pete Davidson's done with Kanye's antics! Ye's constantly gone negative on his ex Kim Kardashian's comedian BF for months. But Pete's always taken the high road and kept quiet – until now. The King of Staten Island pinged Kanye directly this weekend, and let loose! Calling Ye out on all the public BS about him and Kim. Pete says it's time to talk. The raft of renaming going on right now obviously hasn't spared popular culture. The Dixie Chicks and Lady Antebellum are now The Chicks and Lady A, respectively. Björk's record label changed its name. Democrats want to rename John Wayne Airport. FedEx has formally asked the Washington Redskins to change their name, and Guilford's board of education voted to drop the town's "Indians" nickname. And, while Splash Mountain is going to keep being called Splash Mountain, it won't be based on Song of the South anymore. And: The King of Staten Island is the sixth feature film directed by Judd Apatow. It stars Pete Davidson (who also co-wrote the movie with Apatow and Dave Sirus) as a 24-year-old high school dropout who lives with his mother on Staten Island.
