Teri Granahan, technically, it started as middle child syndrome and a few basement plays which eventually got compounded with the high school crowning of "Most Funny" and "Class Cut Up" that set the wheels in motion. Truthfully, it was a survival skill because "everybody likes the funny kid." The Big Apple I started my comedy career in early 2000 while living in NYC. Right out of the gate I had some good signs- I won New York Comedy Club's Best New Talent in 2003. And went on to perform at Stand Up NY, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Comedy Cellar trying to get into the scene. Fortunate enough to have shared the stages with some of today's greats like Jim Gaffigan, Lisa Lampinelli, the late, Patrice O'Neil...and so many others! Then I ran into comedian Dave Russo who gave me my first real professional gigs. The irony is that we both graduated together from Wilkes University and had communication classes together. Years later ran into each other performing at Stand Up NY! He took me under his wing where I opened for him at a few colleges like University of New Haven, Wilkes University a few times and gave me some shows in the Boston area with the famous Lenny Clarke! My Home Coming Fast forward a gazillion years my journey through comedy got me on MTV (Apartment 2F with the Sklar Brother's); a close but no cigar audition for AXS LIVE Gotham (great story!). And was making my climb through the circuit. Back in the Poconos: I won Best of Reader polls in 2011 from Electric City and Diamond City polls. Became the house mc at Wisecrackers for a few years when they moved into the Casino, where I also had a weekly spot on 105 the River. Culminating into the final brass ring of making it to the semi finals- TOP 10 females in the industry- in the Ladies of Laughter Competition NYC in 2016. Punchline Philly's Really Funny Comedians (Who Happen to Be Females) Comedy Works Bristol Funniest Females After sharpening my skills running tons of open mics over the years. I moved on to produce comedy shows of a wide variety from fundraisers for several hundreds to small little pubs for almost 10 years. I've performed in clubs, colleges and theaters up and down the east coast, including Gotham NY, Stand Up NY, New York Comedy Club, Improv (when it was running in NYC), Broadway Comedy Club, Comedy Cellar, Helium, Punchline Philly, Comedy Cabaret, Sarcasm, Wisecrackers rooms, Wilkes University, Marywood University, New Haven University, Lackawanna College, Penn State University; Ritz Theater, Clemens Center, Waverly Store Front Theater and some theater in Delaware. Also going on record with The Flaming Crab and Quaker Steak & Lube...because you ain't sh*t til you can play those rooms! #terigranahan #standupcomedian #comedy #livewithcdp #talkshow #chrispomay #barrycullenchevrolet #wellingtonbrewery #youtube #applepodcasts https://terigranahan.com/ https://beacons.ai/chrisdpomay https://www.cameo.com/chrispomay https://www.youtube.com/@chrispomaylivewithcdpsport5517/streams

There's a strange link between 1939's The Wizard of Oz and Fallout If you think about it, Diamond City and the Emerald City are the same. Not only because of the colour coincidence but because of the references. We see Dorothy at the beginning of the trail, with a swirl of red and yellow brick. In Fallout 4, if you follow the Freedom Trail left by the Railroad, you follow the red brick road, whereas in Oz, Dorothy only follows the yellow. It's almost as if the red trail takes you in the opposite direction to Diamond City... Copyright to Two Takes

Health Minister Dr Joe Phaahla announced on Friday that the Covid-19 vaccination of children between the ages 12 and 17 will start on October 20, with one dose of the Pfizer vaccine. This follows a recommendation by the Vaccine Ministerial Advisory Committee (VMAC) which was supported by Health MECs and Cabinet. The Pfizer vaccine has been approved by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority for this age group. Phaahla made the announcement during the Department of Health's (DoH's) provincial oversight visit to monitor the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Diamond City in Kimberley, in the Northern Cape. “The VMAC advised that, for now, we only give one dose while assessing information which suggests that in a few cases there has been short-lived cases of transient myocarditis after two doses. The timing of the second dose will be informed by further information on this rarely observed side effect which has no permanent risk,” the Minister said. The Committee also advised that additional doses be given to individuals with compromised immunity, such as people on long-term oral steroids therapy for auto-immune conditions, those with haematological or immune malignancies, people with solid organ or bone marrow transplants, those on renal dialysis and people with primary immunological disorders. He went on to explain that the advice is that these categories of patients be offered additional doses over the prescribed, but this must strictly be under the referral by their medical doctor. Phaahla said the DoH believes the vaccination of children will come in handy as schools begin examinations. DIGITAL COVID-19 VACCINATION CERTIFICATE Meanwhile, the DoH is pleased with the enthusiasm with which South Africans have embraced the digital vaccination certificate. “As of 15:30 yesterday, the 14th October, more than 1.5-million certificates had been downloaded. We have also resent more than 10-million SMSes with vaccination codes in case they were not saved after vaccination,” he said. He highlighted that the DoH acknowledges that many individuals were frustrated when the system was not responsive, saying this was largely owing to large numbers at peak demand times when the server could not cope. He assured citizens that the certificate development team at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research is monitoring the traffic and making appropriate adjustments. “As we said last week, this is just the first phase and by the end of October there will be more improvements in terms of access and security,” he promised.

Caleb (@ScifiSpeedster) and Jaden (@MrJadJay) explore two cities that have entirely different philosophies on surviving in the Commonwealth. They discuss how Diamond City and Good Neighbor are connected through the McDonough brothers (2:54), how prepared each city is to survive the dangers of the wasteland (6:18), and which city they’d prefer to live in themselves (11:22). This is an [Expert] level episode, which means some parts of the discussion may not make sense unless you’ve played the game. Expect lots of spoilers.

Find out what your hosts think of Nintendo Labo, the new God of War trailer, and the rest of the fortnight's headlines! We've been playing a ton of Fallout 4, so expect some Wasteland shenanigans in our gameplay segment, followed by game giveaways and some truly lovely listener email.
On this edition of the show Cara returns(!), Ray jumps on (!), and Dennis, Pat and Andrew discuss the nitty gritty about the daily grind in Diamond City. Andrew super smoothly drops in some audio feedback right off the top of the show that he DID NOT forget to put in the night before. Thanks to Mark Hanson for the great audio feedback! Ray tells us about Mr. Peanut, who is actually the Peanut Man, George Jacobs, inspired by a real life story of Fenway Park lore. We listen to the Vault Report from Kyle, and everyone should go listen to his new show ModTalk, on ASAPodcasting. We get into some great emails from Frank and Benoit (while Andrew has a pronunciation meltdown with the French names and the Mutated fruit). The drawbacks of addiction were discussed; the differences between alcohol dependence and chem dependence. The process of acquiring Home Plate and the Progression of Travis the DJ came up. Cara loved playing Match-Maker in Diamond City with a teacher and robo-fancy. Thanks to Benoit for the DiMA's Blue Puzzle Nightmare report. From all of us here at ASAPodcasting, we would like to wish all of our listeners the very happiest of holiday seasons. Please enjoy time with loved ones and thank you for all your wonderful interaction with the show. You make it all worthwhile!
