The Saja stand as the spiritual cornerstone of Disney's Galactic Starcruiser experience. While we've shared countless tales of these mystical Force-sensitive guardians touching guests' hearts in profound ways, one aspect remains underexplored: how the Saja inspire travelers to embrace mindfulness through meditation. In an era where mindfulness practices are gaining recognition for their benefits, the Saja offer a unique gateway into this ancient art. Their presence aboard the Starcruiser creates a rare opportunity for guests to connect with something deeper amid their galactic adventure. In this episode, we speak with Diana and Beth, beloved figures in the Starcruiser community, who are guiding others to follow the Saja's example. They teach fellow travelers to quiet what we playfully call our "Kowakian monkey minds" – those restless thoughts that constantly jump from branch to branch. Through the Saja's teachings, guests learn to slow down, turn inward, and simply exist in the moment – a powerful skill that extends far beyond their journey among the stars.Their work reminds us that sometimes, the most meaningful souvenirs are the practices that transform our daily lives long after we've returned home.Star Wars The Jedi MindDiana's Upcoming Mediation Zoom - via the HalcAnon community on FacebookHeroes of the Halcyon on InstagramTheme Music ("Digital Discourse") by Yellow BarrelSend your email to heroesofthehalcyon@gmail.com - we'd love to hear from you about your journeys, episode suggestions, or just to say hi!

By the age of 16, he had ventured into the uncertain, exciting and precarious world of the professional musician, playing in every kind of venue including a few he was reluctant to admit to his Catholic mother. Fitzgibbon explains, “You did what you had to do just to get by. I played in Soho nightclubs for a while and there were some pretty unsavoury characters you had to deal with, but as a kid it was a great education in many different ways”Money has never been a real motivation either. He says “Sure you need and deserve to get paid for what you do, but I enjoy musical variety and if I liked the sound of a proposition, I said yes first and then found out what numeration was going to be later” As a result he has no regrets and has worked in almost every musical genre, in many parts of the world, whilst pursuing his craft. The drummer in the original production of The Rocky Horror Show, whichpremiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London alongside Tim Curry and Richard O'Brien, among others, Fitzgibbon continues to perform and is currently preparing to record a solo album due for release in early 2025Consider supporting the podcast for $5 though BuyMeACoffeeSupport the show

It's 1973 and The Rocky Horror Show is about to be launched onto an unsuspecting world for the first time. Martin Fitzgibbon was the young drummer recruited specifically to play an integral part in the show's success. Here, for the first time, Martin gives his unique insight into how the show and its participants became an overnight success and created a cultural phenomenon which fifty years on still reverberates around the world. But there was a life before and after "Rocky" too, which although not straightforward, was overwhelmingly one of fun, laughter and surprises.Behind The Curtain is a tale of contrasting worlds. Of optimism and resilience when dealing with the challenges of life. The authors intention is to take you into that world and leave you with a smile.Buy the book from Wellington Square Bookshop - https://www.wellingtonsquarebooks.com/book/9781803816524

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Jefferson Morley is a Washington author and veteran journalist whose novelistic non-fiction books explore untold chapters in the history of the American nation. A skilled investigative reporter, Morley combines granular detail with storytelling verve to capture unknown realities of subjects as disparate as the Central Intelligence Agency and America's legacy of racial violence. Morley's newest book, Scorpions Dance: The President, The Spymaster and Watergate, excavates the untold backstory of Watergate: How the subterranean relationship of two master Machiavellians–CIA director Richard Helms and President Richard Nixon–culminated in America' greatest political scandal. Morley's 2017 book, The Ghost: The Secret Life of CIA Spymaster James Jesus Angleton, tells the story of a paranoid genius who was perhaps the most powerful unelected official in the U.S. government. At the height of the Cold War, Angleton's secret influence extended from Moscow to London to Jerusalem to the Vatican, to the White House. If there is a “Deep State” in American life as some contend, Angleton was one of its Founding Fathers. Morley's trilogy of spies starts with Our Man in Mexico: Winston Scott and the Hidden History of the CIA. his 2008 biography of an improbable American spy. Winston Scott was an Alabama math teacher turned FBI agent who joined the CIA at its founding, became close friends with Angleton and became the chief of the agency's Mexico City station in the 1960s. “Every decade or so a talented writer provides a genuinely new glimpse of the Central Intelligence Agency,” said historian Thomas Powers of the book. Morley's second book, Snow-Storm in August, was described by best-selling author David Mariniss as “History so fresh it feels alive.” A vivid account of a white riot that swept the nation's capital 25 years before the Civil War, Snow-Storm's “plunge beneath the surface of history exposes realities more true to daily experience than executive proclamations or speeches in Congress,” said the Washington Post. The Minneapolis Star Tribune called it “elegant and readable.” Morley is one of the world's leading authorities on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He is editor of the blog, JFK Facts blog on Substack.
