As a neurobiologist and pharmacologist, he's built a scientific case that what people encounter on DMT isn't hallucination. It's contact. In this conversation, Gallimore walks through the neuroscience of how DMT hijacks the brain's world-building system, and why that distinction matters enormously. He also shares his recent collaboration with consciousness theorist Don Hoffman — work that produced a mathematical model of the DMT state that Gallimore calls one of the most profound moments of his career. From machine elves to the Barrow Scale, from near-death experiences to the nature of alien intelligence — this one covers ground most conversations never reach. Learn more about your ad choices. In a world that celebrates fighting fire with fire, God calls us to a radically different approach through unselfish love. The Corinthian church was plagued with divisions and conflicts, yet Paul responded not with committees or worldly tactics, but by pointing them to love in 1 Corinthians 13. Even the most impressive spiritual gifts, knowledge, and sacrifices mean nothing without love. True love suffers long, doesn't keep score of wrongs, and never fails. Sometimes we love our anger and bitterness more than our freedom, but God's way of love is the only path to true liberation.
How are DMT experiences neurologically different to hallucinations? How does DMT alter the world modelling of our brains? What evidence is there that the brain is receiving information on DMT rather than modelling it?In this episode we have the extraordinary neuroscience of DMT to discuss, one of the most powerful mind altering substances on the planet. We discuss the history of research into its effects; relevant neuroscience; research into the mystical experiences it induces; the statistical significance of repeated, highly specific yet unearthly places and entities reported by experiencers across eras and cultures; experiments that extend the DMT experience for longer periods of time; the metaphysical implications if any; and finally we consider the mind bending possibility that the otherworldly creatures and realities experiencers repeatedly encounter could be actual realities connecting with our brains via DMT.Fortunately to navigate these mysterious results and ideas, we have chemist, computational neuroscientist and author Andrew Gallimore as our guide. Gallimore has written 16 scientific papers and three books including, “Reality Switch Technologies: Psychedelics as Tools for the Discovery and Exploration of New Worlds”, “Alien Information Theory: Psychedelic Drug Technologies and the Cosmic Game”, and his brand new book, “Death By Astonishment, confronting the mystery of the world's strangest drug” which we'll be focussing on in this episode. What we discuss:00:00 Intro.08:30 How DMT binds to the brain.09:50 Receptors are like a cell's perception organs.14:25 The cascading of electrical patterns across neurones.16:50 The big differences between DMT and 5meoDMT.18:50 Hierarchical structure of model processing. In this episode we join pioneering psychedelic neuroscientist Andrew Gallimore (Website | X | Instagram | Substack) to probe the bewildering high-dimensional horizons of DMT research and their implications for our understanding of consciousness and the structure of reality. In his book Death by Astonishment, Gallimore argues DMT expands the brain's “representational reach,” enabling perception of high-dimensional structures and apparent interaction with non-human “intelligent agents,” challenging standard accounts that treat the experience as mere hallucination, dreams, or Jungian archetypes. What new shapes will we—and our sciences—take as we integrate the intense strangeness of these experiences? How do we even begin to practice “truly psychedelic” science? And what insights might we be able to bring “home” to the Flatland where we spend most of our waking lives?Andrew has talked about this work in many, many other venues (his conversations with Jesse Michels and Danny Jones were especially good), so I wanted to carry the conversation into fresh terrain. Consider this episode the “200 level course”, or at least my best attempt ask a brilliant and provocative researcher some very complicated questions.Over our two hours together we discussed neuroimaging findings that challenge the “dream” and “archetype” interpretations of DMT phenomenology, how criticality and noise in complex systems inform our understanding of the psychedelic experience, and the methodological problems inherent in studying ontologically shocking experiences while maintaining scientific rigor. We also probed the philosophical implications of DMT research—such as the possibility that consciousness is more fundamental than matter—and the possible connections between DMT hyperspace and life in an era of advanced technology. Andrew also gave some context on the Noonautics research non-profit its partnership with the newly-launched Eleusis facility, a carefully-crafted venue for extended-state DMT work. But perhaps my favorite part of this conversation was spent in speculation, about how science and even language might evolve to meet the challenges presented by the ineffable high-dimensional reality that DMT reveals to us.✨ Like/Subscribe/Comment where you listen! David was called a man after God's own heart not because he was perfect, but because of his heart's direction and response to God. While others judged by outward appearance, God saw David's heart - one that trusted in divine solutions rather than human methods, respected God's authority even when mistreated, and remained tender toward God even after failure. David demonstrated this through his refusal to harm King Saul despite persecution, his faith when facing Goliath, and his genuine repentance after sin. The same Spirit that empowered David is available today to transform our hearts when we surrender fully to God.
This sermon focuses on preparing for the end times through offering a 'sacrifice of praise' to God, even during suffering and persecution. The pastor emphasizes that mere knowledge of biblical truth will not be sufficient to endure the coming trials - believers must develop a deep, self-sacrificing love for Christ that enables them to praise God even in the midst of difficulty. Drawing from Hebrews 13:11-16, the message explains how Jesus suffered 'outside the camp' and calls Christians to bear His reproach by going to that same place of suffering. The sermon illustrates this principle through historical examples of Christian martyrs and missionaries who praised God despite persecution, demonstrating that true peace comes not from avoiding stress but from trusting completely in God's love and sovereignty over all circumstances.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ represents the most pivotal moment in human history, culminating in His mysterious cry: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? This wasn't merely a feeling of abandonment but a real separation that occurred as Jesus became our substitute, taking upon Himself our burden, guilt, and sin. Though Jesus and the Father had enjoyed perfect unity from eternity, the Father had to separate Himself from His beloved Son because He cannot look upon sin. Jesus experienced the ultimate abandonment that we deserved so that we would never have to face it ourselves. The answer to His cry came on Sunday morning when an angel declared, "Thy Father calls thee", and Jesus rose to everlasting life, having drunk the bitter cup to its dregs.
Jesus' final words to His disciples established the most noble purpose for every believer: becoming witnesses for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. This divine power isn't about worldly influence but the transformative force of unselfish love. Every person, regardless of background or education, can share their personal testimony of how Jesus has changed their life. The church exists as God's appointed agency for salvation, with its primary mission being to carry the gospel to the world. Through passionate prayer and watching for divine opportunities, believers can effectively reach those who desperately need to hear about Christ's transforming love.
Federal Tech Podcast: Listen and learn how successful companies get federal contracts

For example, a joint DOL-SBA report from December 2024 revealed $2.3 billion in potentially fraudulent payments. Today, we sat down with Jeff Gallimore from Excella, where he will diagnose the problem of federal waste, fraud, and abuse. From there, he presents a solution that has already saved millions of dollars. The problem: too many silos From a data management perspective, most enterprise computational capabilities evolved through a federated approach. From a historical perspective, it makes sense that each agency would have its own computers and storage. It makes sense that individual data stores in this environment would be separated, or perhaps the word "siloed", into distinct areas. Now, if you have one silo, you can protect it; if you have a thousand, then there is a problem. During the interview, Gallimore mentioned an agency that manages 9,000 grants. That is a lot of data to coordinate when it is stored in its "silos." The solution: gap analysis Silos can be secure, but the architecture can allow for gaps in security coverage. These gaps, or seams, can allow fraudsters to exploit this structure. For example, an agency may have a division that has identified a person as a fraudster. If that information is not shared, this person can use the same exploit on another area of the agency. Further, interlinks between federated systems can allow adversaries to gain access. Excella has a profile of how they have managed to fill in the gaps in siloed data architecture.

The greatest commandment reveals what should be our ultimate core value as Christians: loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. This isn't emotional love, but principled, unselfish love that flows from recognizing God as our moral authority. When Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him, He was asking the same question He asks us today. True love for God naturally overflows into love for others, making this the foundation for genuine life transformation. As we enter a new year, we must honestly examine whether we truly love God with everything we have, allowing this core value to guide all our decisions and relationships.
Immanuel means God with us, revealing that our Creator is unselfish love who chose to create and share rather than remain alone. When humanity broke their relationship with God through disobedience, heaven faced an impossible situation where justice demanded punishment while mercy called for restoration. The Son of God offered to become human, live the perfect life we failed to live, and suffer our punishment. Isaiah prophesied during dark times that a virgin would conceive Immanuel, which was fulfilled in Jesus' birth. Today, our world often wants material prosperity rather than heart transformation, but the real question remains: Is there room in your heart for Immanuel to dwell and transform you from within?

The chaos in our world often makes us wonder how long God will allow suffering to continue. Daniel 8:14 speaks of a 2,300-day prophecy leading to the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary, which addresses Satan's accusations against God's character. Christ's death and resurrection provide both justification and sanctification, working to transform believers from the inside out. We have two natures but one character, formed by our choices to follow either our old selfish nature or Christ's new nature within us. As we approach the end times, God's people will demonstrate that His laws can be kept through Christ's power, vindicating His character before the universe. What Jesus starts in our lives, He promises to finish in righteousness and victory.
Revelation asks the haunting question: who can stand when Jesus returns? As people from all walks of life flee in terror from the Lamb's wrath, God provides an answer through the sealing of His people. The 144,000 represents complete victory - God's ability to transform anyone regardless of their background or character flaws. The great multitude comes out of tribulation by washing their robes in the blood of the Lamb, which means surrendering daily to Christ and allowing Him to break the power of sin in their lives. Through constant communion with God and daily surrender, believers can be prepared to stand without fear when Christ returns in glory.
Imagine your brain as a world-building engine that never shows you the thing-in-itself, only a model tuned for survival. Now imagine a molecule that doesn't just bend that model but switches it to a fully formed, hyper-detailed reality populated by entities that seem to think, act, and sometimes deny you entry. That's the claim at the heart of our conversation with computational neurobiologist and DMT researcher Andrew Gallimore, author of Death by Astonishment. We start by laying the groundwork: predictive brains, interface theory, and why ordinary dreams and hallucinations reuse what the brain already knows. From there we compare classic psychedelics—LSD, psilocybin, mescaline—with DMT. The former loosen constraints; the latter appears to replace the entire world model. Reports converge on crystalline clarity, higher-dimensional geometry, and interactive beings that feel autonomous. Andrew introduces the “lockout” effect, where access can be refused, and argues that orthodox neuroscience struggles to explain structured, agent-like phenomena arising so quickly and coherently. The breakthrough comes with extended-state DMT using target-controlled infusion—a medical technique borrowed from anesthesia—to hold explorers in the space for 30 to 90 minutes or longer. Early pilots suggest the state stabilizes, enabling intentional interaction and systematic observation. We explore a research roadmap: send in mathematicians to probe topology, linguists to parse symbolism, anthropologists to map social rules, artists to render lawful structure. Instead of asking entities to prove themselves, we let experts recognize operations that exceed typical human cognition, like effortless four-color theorem tilings or impossible geometric transforms performed in real time.We also talk safety, differences between DMT, ayahuasca, and 5-MeO, and emerging retreat-and-research models that combine medical oversight with rigorous protocols. Whether DMT reveals autonomous minds, emergent intelligence, or a yet-unknown information source, extended-state studies could convert private revelation into public evidence. When someone wrongs us, we face a choice between vengeance and forgiveness. While the world encourages getting even, Christian faith demands forgiveness—with no exceptions. This forgiveness is rooted in two essential principles: we forgive because God has forgiven us, and we trust God with justice rather than seeking vengeance ourselves. Sin causes God pain, yet He forgives us. The communion service reminds us of this profound truth—as we receive God's forgiveness symbolized in the bread and cup, we must extend that same forgiveness to others who have hurt us.
In this episode of Mind Escape: New Telos, neuroscientist and author Andrew Gallimore joins us to discuss his groundbreaking book Death by Astonishment. We dive into the history of ayahuasca from Richard Spruce and William Burroughs to Shultes and the discovery of chacruna and then push forward into the future: DMT as a technology, machine elves, building alien worlds, and the metaphysical implications of the “filter” model of consciousness. Are these realms real, or are they archetypes generated by the mind? Could DMT be the bridge between neuroscience and metaphysics? And what would an extended-state “DMT technology” mean for humanity?
Breaking the Seven Seals explores how Jesus guides His church through history's challenges. The vision in Revelation 5 shows Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb who alone is worthy to open the sealed scroll containing the great controversy between good and evil. As each seal breaks, we witness the church facing different trials: the four horsemen representing early church challenges, martyrs crying out during times of persecution, cosmic disturbances signaling end times, and finally silence in heaven at Christ's return. Through it all, Jesus proves He can bring His faithful followers through every challenge, from apostasy to persecution to His glorious return.
The secret to spiritual victory lies in setting the Lord always before your face through constant communion with Him. Jesus demonstrated this practice by keeping His eyes fixed on the Father, which enabled Him to overcome every temptation. This continuous awareness of God's presence is achieved through rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, and giving thanks in everything. When we surrender completely to Christ and maintain this communion, we receive spiritual strength, healing, and protection. Though difficulties may come, we can trust that God permits them only for our good, working all things together for those who love Him.

What if DMT isn't just a drug—but a technology? In thismind-expanding conversation, neurobiologist and chemist Dr.Andrew Gallimore takes us on a deep dive into the DMT experience and its implications for consciousness, reality, and human evolution. From unforgettable encounters with entities to the nature of simulation theory, we explore whether the DMT realm is real, what it means to “trespass” into alien dimensions, and whether these experiences are happening inside your brain—or somewhere far beyond it. We also discuss how DMT intersects with the UFO phenomenon, the distortion of time perception, and the provocative idea that death might not be the end… but just the beginning of astonishment. For fans of the compelling critical and investigative style of best-selling authors Graham Hancock and Brian Muraresku, the first detailed account of the history and science of the world's strangest and most mysterious drug - DMT.DMT is the world's strangest and most mysterious drug, inducing one of the most remarkable and yet least understood of all states of consciousness. This common plant molecule has, from ancient times to the modern day, been used as a tool to gain access to a bizarre alien reality of inordinate complexity and unimaginable strangeness, populated by a panoply of highly advanced, intelligent, and communicative beings entirely not of this world. In a story that begins in the Amazonian rainforests and ends somewhere beyond the stars, Andrew Gallimore presents the first detailed account of the discovery of DMT and science's continuing struggle to explain how such a simple and common plant molecule can have such astonishing effects on the human mind. The history of the drug involves many fascinating characters from the scientific and literary worlds ― including legendary ethnobotanist Dr. Richard Schultes; renegade beat writer and drug aficionado William S. Burroughs; philosopher and raconteur Terence McKenna; and the high priest of the 1960s psychedelic revolution, Dr. Timothy Leary. In the end, the story of DMT forces us to reconsider our most basic assumptions about the nature of reality and our place within it.ANDREW R. GALLIMORE is a chemical pharmacologist, neurobiologist, and writer, and one of the world's leading experts on psychedelics. He is the author of two books on the science of psychedelics, Alien Information Theory: Psychedelic Drug Technologies and the Cosmic Game and Reality Switch Technologies: Psychedelics as Tools for the Discovery and Exploration of New Worlds. He lives and works in Tokyo.GRAHAM HANCOCK is the author of major international non-fiction bestsellers including The Sign and the Seal and Fingerprints of the Gods. His books have sold more than seven million copies worldwide and have been translated into thirty languages. His public lectures, radio and TV appearances, including the TV series Quest For The Lost Civilization and Flooded Kingdoms of the Ice Age, as well as his strong presence on the internet, have put his ideas before audiences of tens of millions. In Malachi, the Israelites questioned God's justice, asking where He was amid evil and suffering. God's response was both a promise and a warning: He would come, but who could endure His perfect justice? The answer lies in the harmony of justice and mercy, perfectly demonstrated in Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus absorbed the justice we deserved, offering forgiveness even to those who crucified Him. This profound sacrifice calls us to extend the same forgiveness to others, recognizing that we all need mercy rather than justice.
Another fun chat with the one and only Dr. Andrew Gallimore, a leading voice in the study of psychedelics, neurobiology, and consciousness. Gallimore's ontological framework is redefining how we think about the brain and the nature of reality itself. He has a new book out called Death By Astonishment (https://a.co/d/1458Bjq), so I was happy to have the opportunity to sit down one-on-one and discuss some of the fascinating topics Andrew thinks about. As always, sit back, relax, and enjoy my conversation with Dr. Andrew Gallimore.•Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. • If these topics pique your curiosity, consider supporting the channel on Patreon
Pastor Gallimore investigates Mark 10's story of the rich young ruler, and Jesus's command to sell all his possessions, take up his cross and follow him. We are called to pursue perfection, even though it seems impossible – and without God, it is impossible. But God transforms our hearts if we sacrifice everything to him, like Abraham did. We are called to trust the law and pursue God's unselfish love.

DMT, the potent psychedelic found in ayahuasca dubbed “The Spirit Molecule” is undeniably a bridge to a different reality. But the question remains, is that reality in our mind, or is that reality ontologically REAL. In other words, are the entities that you encounter in the DMT space ‘other' or are they ‘self'. And does that make a difference? Dr. Andrew Gallimore and Carl Smith have been studying this phenomenon through revolutionary extended state DMT and we share both the stories and the research from what they have encountered. And for Dr. Gallimore, he believes that ”Interdimensional Citizenship Is Close At Hand”. With my 25 years of psychonautic experience, I have to say that I agree! This was a fascinating conversation with galactic implications! https://noonautics.org/https://www.cyberdelic.nexus/Find out more about the retreat https://eleusismind.com/| Dr. Andrew Gallimore |Website | https://www.buildingalienworlds.com/Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/alieninsect/| Carl Hayden Smith |Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/djinterbeing/https://www.themoc.org/Sayu Essential Oils | https://sayu.earth/Korrect Energy | https://korrectlife.com/Metal Mark Golden Collectable Art | https://mtlmrk.com/| Aubrey Marcus |Website | http://bit.ly/2GesYqi Instagram | http://bit.ly/2BlfCEO Facebook | http://bit.ly/2F4nBZk X | http://bit.ly/2BlGBAdAdCheck out Love To The Seventh Power: https://chakaruna.com/collections/booksSubscribe to the Aubrey Marcus newsletter:https://www.aubreymarcus.com/pages/emailTo partner with the Aubrey Marcus PodcastSubscribe to the Aubrey Marcus podcast:iTunes | https://apple.co/2lMZRCn Spotify | https://spoti.fi/2EaELZO Stitcher | http://bit.ly/2G8ccJt IHeartRadio | https://ihr.fm/3CiV4x3

Neuroscientist and DMT researcher and author, Dr. Andrew Gallimore returns to the mind meld! In this one, we dive deep on visionary molecules like DMT. Is it possible that it opens your brain up to alien communication or even other realms? What do these experiences of high-strangeness tell us about consciousness? We also riff on the incredible DMTx (extended-state) studies coming out of Imperial College London, the unbelievable research on the horizon, and much more.
Peter Boghossian and Andrew Gallimore explore the profound effects of DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) on consciousness. They discuss DMT's production of robustly coherent environments and “non-adaptable perceptions” as a casual explanation of DMT realms. Andrew also shares insights into DMT's entities and intelligences and they devise a test for evaluating the ontological status of DMT realms.Andrew Gallimore is a neurobiologist, chemist, pharmacologist, and writer interested in the relationship between psychedelic drugs, the brain, consciousness, and the structure of reality. The Miami Dolphins invested in yet another former Buffalo Bill on Wednesday, adding ST ace Siran Neal. Additionally, Miami added more depth to the DL with Neville Gallimore. But these two moves say as much about Miami's big picture perspective as they do what they're looking for on the field. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
