TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast: Paul Craddock Interview I get to geek out a bit, I am interviewing Paul Craddock today. Ever since the Valkyrie I have been fanboying window shopping Craddock Precision ARs. Since was planning a 6 ARC project, I wanted to pair that 6 ARC bolt gun with a 6 ARC gas gun to see the pipeline. What's the accuracy, what the ranges, how does it perform on command like a competition rifle ? The Terminus Zeus in 6 ARC is here, the Zermatt Matterhorn is here, now to pair with a gas gun. The interview Paul is a great background. We learn the history of Craddock Precision, Paul's gun building philosophy. How he approaches the AR15, AR10 which might be different from the other guys. A great example is roughly 15 different gas lengths. I want to thank Nick for putting us together, this conversation flowed. It moved in a nice logical direction touching on the ins and outs of a gas gun. From Valkyrie to ARC, to larger Frame ARs, we touch on it all. As always, thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the Everyday Sniper podcast.

For a special Christmas episode of NostalgiaCast, Jonny and Darin are joined by author/artist Ruth Harris Craddock for a spirited discussion of THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL, directed by Brian Henson and starring Kermit The Frog, Miss Piggy, and Sir Michael Caine as arguably the big-screen's definitive Ebenezer Scrooge. They chat about the movie as a faithful adaptation of Dickens's classic story (with Muppets!) and how Caine's decision to play Scrooge as "utterly dramatic" adds to its sincerity and fun. God bless us, every one!

The EDPB has finally adopted its much feared Guidelines on the scope of article 5.3 of the ePrivacy Directive, but consent may still be avoided in some cases not specifically covered by an exemption (e.g., analytics). Absent such an exception, and in light of dismal consent rates, publishers and platforms have embraced highly controversial “Consent or Pay” models. Plan C? Saveur was always a little different from the other food magazines. It was not exactly highbrow, but it did expand the definition of what a food magazine could be. If anything, it was a magazine about culture—centered on food, sure—but also about places, and things, and people. It was a magazine for foodies before the word “foodie” was invented—and then became annoying. It embraced the web and digital. It attracted very smart writers and a dedicated readership (I was one of them). It branched into cookbooks (and I have some). It was a media company centered around a defined editorial brand and mission. It was also bought and sold quite often—or often enough that each new owner and each new editor that came aboard tried to fix it, somehow, to make the numbers look better, perhaps, and that meant a lot of tinkering.Of course, this was also a time when our traditional notions of media were being challenged and upended almost daily, so it didn't really come as a surprise when Saveur announced they would cease publishing their print edition in 2021.But then, in a move that recalled the famous Remington Razor commercials of the early 80s—“I was so impressed, I bought the company”—a longtime editor of Saveur, Kat Craddock, found some like-minded folk, and bought the company. And the first change she implemented was a return to print. It's out right now, and it looks delicious. Print Is Dead (Long Live Print!) is a production of Magazeum & MO.D ©2021–2024

This week's episode features art marketer Jessica Craddock. Jessica mentors ADHD artists who are tired of marketing strategies that don't align with their personality to sell 3x more art. I like talking to other business minded creatives and I used this interview to extract some art marketing advice that I don't regularly teach. Jessica comes from a business background and gives a clear look at her student's businesses to help them simply describe their art and how to buy it. We chat on subjects like outreach, how to get referrals, and how to start selling canvas art in your local area. Let me know what you think of this week's episode with Jessica Craddock.
Dodging the Dripping Pan ducking stool, magazine editor Andy Lyons, writer Harry Pearson and host Daniel Gray discuss Football Art and Statues from Jody Craddock's paintwork to The Erratic Clown of Belgrade via Arsene Wenger's Miss Marple likeness.

Elis, John and Producer Dave embodied the very definition of 'the voice of the UK' for today's show, as they once again broadcast from locations that were literally hundreds of miles apart. How was that possible? Well, thanks to a little piece of magic we in the biz like to call "technology". As always, the guys didn't let distance get in the way of a good time, and if anything being a safe distance from each other merely added to the giddiness; making Producer Dave turn grey on no less than five occasions. John debates whether he should be tipping his refuse collectors, Elis discusses his undercarriage cleaning technique, Producer Dave attempts to explain exactly what's happening to the show in 2024, and a surprise phone call casts the future of one of our favourite features into doubt.
