This week, Chief Victory Officer Eric Guy and Chief Adventure Officer Caleb Kolb are joined by Casey Williams, co-owner of Victory Float Lounge and former world-class powerlifter turned mental resilience advocate. In a conversation that starts with a chance airport encounter and unfolds into something far deeper, Eric, Caleb, and Casey explore the underestimated power of stillness, the science behind floating, and why creating space for discomfort might just be the key to transformation.

Healing Happens When You Live: Jovhannah Tisdale on Trauma, Energy, and Sacred Wellness | Conversations with a Chiropractor Episode Description: Can healing really come without fixing every piece of your past? In this illuminating episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier sits down with Jovhannah Tisdale—licensed massage therapist, energy worker, intuitive coach, and founder of The Culture Spa in Wake Forest, NC—for a soul-level conversation about trauma, forgiveness, and the holistic path to healing. Jovhannah shares how surviving an abusive relationship and navigating depression led her to acupuncture, yoga, reiki, and deep spiritual work. Together, they explore what it really means to heal, why perfection isn't the goal, and how even your Type A tendencies can become part of your path. It's a powerful reminder that true healing isn't linear—and sometimes, the most healing thing we can do is simply keep living.

Lead Pastor - Tim Hatch
In this episode Dr Steve discusses how healing happens. So many people search for quick fixes and magic remedies to solve their health issues, but the real problem is inside them. That's why it's crucial to see a chiropractor who will clear your central nervous system and restore the body's innate power to heal itself. A principled Chiropractor doesn't heal you—they remove the interference so your body can function as God designed it to. In this episode of The Double Win Show, Michael Hyatt and Megan Hyatt Miller interview Ian Morgan Cron, bestselling author, psychotherapist, and Episcopal priest. Ian shares insights from his new book, The Fix, offering a fresh perspective on how the 12 Steps can transform lives—even for those who don't identify as addicts. This episode dives into universal human struggles, addressing how we numb pain, avoid truth, and search for solutions in all the wrong places.Memorable Quotes“Trying to solve an inside problem with an outside solution doesn't work.”“Human beings are always on the prowl for a fix, looking for something to distract or numb the big ache of what it means to be simply human.”“All human beings are fundamentally restless.”“The whole point of the 12-step program is to facilitate a spiritual awakening of sufficient force that it expels the need for external solutions to internal problems.”“Real happiness comes when you make memories in community.”“People get sick in secret. They get well together.”“The three most courageous words in the world are ‘I need help.'”“Powerlessness is a superpower. When you finally admit ‘I am powerless' or ‘I do not have control over nearly as much of life as I think I do' suddenly a great, great burden is lifted from your shoulders.”“Ultimately what we want for ourselves and the people we love most is freedom.”“All addicts are frustrated mystics.”“As I've kind of unraveled the codependency addiction that I had, I've realized that I have to just be okay with people not changing. I want them to change. I pray for them to change. But they have to want it.”“Your addiction is just a bad solution to a very real problem.”“The number one addiction? Playing God.”Key TakeawaysThe Big Ache: Everyone carries a longing—an ache—for more. When unmet, it often leads to unhealthy patterns like workaholism, social media scrolling, or compulsive busyness.A Plan for Transformation: The 12 Steps offer a simple yet profound roadmap to freedom and flourishing, focusing on making peace with God, yourself, and others.Addiction Looks Different for High Achievers: Addiction isn't always dramatic. For leaders and professionals, it might show up as perfectionism, control, or overworking.Healing Happens in Community: Isolation perpetuates pain; healing requires connection.Surrender Leads to Freedom: Admitting powerlessness isn't failure—it's the beginning of true transformation.ResourcesThe Fix by Ian Morgan CronIan Morgan Cron's Website: ianmorgancron.comWatch on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/ZA73bOupPL8This episode was produced by Sarah Vorhees Wendel of VW Sound

More than a third of Americans use complementary and alternative medicine, ranging from acupuncture to herbalism, Ayurveda to homeopathy. But despite its growing popularity, complementary and alternative medicine remains, for the most part, outside the Western medical mainstream — regarded by some as fringe, and by others as straight-up quackery. Despite that, many researchers and supporters have been trying to gain a deeper understanding of medical practices from around the world, and to incorporate them into our health care system. And that's led to more questions: Which practices work, and for what conditions? How do they work? And how do we measure and standardize treatments when they're removed from their cultural contexts? On this episode, we step outside the boundaries of Western medicine to explore those questions. We hear stories about a mysterious Vodou treatment, the struggle to bring acupuncture into the medical mainstream, and answers to Western skeptics.

Healing Happens! This woman is one of the most delicious humans on the planet, an inspiration beyond measure, a heart of gold, brave as shit. She's a testament to never giving up on love and doing whatever it takes to heal and open her heart with such a positive attitude and of course, the results to show for it! She knew that the therapy and courses she took moved the dial but hadn't created lasting healing or transformation... after all she was still single. I'm honored that she saw something in how I was being and knew working together was the path home. In this glorious conversation we also discussed... -How she's literally learned how to stop navigating the world from fear in her mind into fierce love in her body... -How she didn't realize she was not only disassociating but all of her body parts were separated and not a cohesive whole until... -How adding the psychedelic somatic integration work to our coaching catapulted her results into softness, receptivity, confidence and alluring a great man... -How she's chosen to renew for another year in this epic community and do more psychedelic somatic integration work because she's become the one (home in her body and herself) ... -And how she's found someone amazing to explore and she's committed to awakening the best in him (not sabotaging it and instead receiving the possibility of the healthiest most soul shaking relationship of her life...) How she's unintentionally become a massive inspiration and leader within our coaching community, and it's rippled into more vocational success, a unanimous professional award, and overall higher quality clients in her already thriving profession... --------------------------------- p.s. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things, God works together for the good.” But what does that look like in our everyday life? It doesn't promise God works when we are good, or when life is good; it promises God works FOR the good in ALL things, situations, and circumstances. Today Pastor Jeff talks about the reality of a God that heals and desires us to be whole on all levels; emotional, physical, and spiritual. Check it out.

Healing is a process and today, I am being vulnerable and authentic, as I share the camera and microphone anxiety I had (and still do have) through my journey in podcasting. As I look back, I can see improvement. I also see, through compassionate eyes, room for further improvement. My AV geek resigned, so this is all my own production. This too is a learning process. #learningtheropes #vulnerablepodcast #newpodcaster

Rachel Archambault, M.A. CCC-SLP is speech-language pathologist who specializes in trauma-informed care (TIC). Rachel found TIC after experiencing a traumatic event at work on 2/14/18. She was looking for ways to help her students who had just undergone trauma as well as herself. She realized that not only would this help for those specific students, but that TIC could be applied to any setting, any population, and with any age group. As an SLP, she offers a unique perspective to how trauma informed care falls under her professional scope of practice as well as for other healthcare professionals and educators.Key Takeaways:It takes a relationship t truly help heal someone.Even when they have the best intentions, leaders who make decisions unilaterally are not trusted or supported because of a lack of collaboration.Voice is easier to give an opportunity to than taking action on choice.Voice and choice build trust. Lack of either erode it due to negative thoughts.Active listening includes fostering the other person's ability to speak by not inserting your own story into theirs.Validating emotions is the easiest way to avoid causing harm. We should never say we understand. It's important to ask the specific question of how can I make this a more safe environment for you.Language and actions make a large, often unseen difference in how much a person feels safe or as if they belong. You should always be asking "who am I harming with this decision".Don't make your job career, or role your identity.Stay in Touch:Website with all social media linksSEEing to Lead Extras!Like the content, want to be a guest, or know someone who would?
We step outside the boundaries of Western medicine to explore those questions!

You feel broken. You want to heal. But you're unwilling to ask for help.If that describes you, your ability to heal will be stifled. Nobody ever healed their broken leg without the help, knowledge, or experience of others. Healing only happens with the love and help of other people. In this episode, we discuss that and more as my guest shares :How it took 20 years for her to pursue counseling, but how she found healing thereWhy is it so difficult to talk about our parents' divorce or broken family and what can we do about that? Why taking risks feels extra scary for people like us and what to do if you feel that fearBuy Tanya's Book, Come Home LaughingJoin the Course WaitlistTake the My Broken Family AssessmentShownotes

On today's episode I chat with Anna Vincentz, a Level 3 IFS therapist who resides in Denmark. We talk about: 1. Attachment: the nervous system and inner and outer coregulation with parents, children, partners, clients and therapists 2. New Danish Parenting: Children always make sense, Relationships matter most, and conscious parenting. Anna says- Parts don't want to settle for unconditional love and attachment from Self. When they actually get connection from Self they realize it is not settling at all. And- We don't need to lean in to our partners from our young parts. Our parts need to lean in to Self and then our Self can lean out into our partners. ---- Check out Anna's podcast and articles here: IFS therapy — IFS & Familieterapeut Anna Vincentz MPF ---- If you like this episode subscribe, like, comment, share with a friend- all the things. This week, I get real with Karen Shayne. Karen created UNTOLD, an online space that has become such a powerful outlet to expose the remarkable stories of ordinary people. Throughout our conversation, we shared some of the incredibly powerful stories from UNTOLD...• The story of Helen - a Holocaust survivor who lost it all, except her will to live, and rebuilt her life from the ground up• A boy battling depression and the detailed dreams he had while living in such a dark place• A student filled with excitement to graduate, but even more excitement to ring the bell and be cancer freeThese stories just scratch the surface of those written in to UNTOLD. Talking with Karen was such a gift and she, herself, has such a gift for creating a space to unite people and share stories that would have otherwise gone untold. You will not want to miss this powerful episode! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
