Robert Creighton co-authored and starred in the hit off-Broadway musical "Cagney," which is soon headed toward a Broadway production. For that role, he won the Fred Astaire Award for Outstanding Male Dancer and was nominated for the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards as best Lead Actor in a Musical.  He played the role of Angelo in "Comedy of Errors" for the Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park, had starring roles in New York City Center's ENCORE SERIES productions of "Damn Yankees," "Little Me," and "Paint Your Wagon," and was in the original North American tour of "Fame."   On Broadway, some of Robert's credits include playing the roles of Durdles in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," Moonface in "Anything Goes," and Amos in "Chicago." He was also in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "Jackie Mason's Laughing Room Only." On television, he was a recurring guest star on the CBS series "The Good Fight" as Clarence Kolb and guest-starred on "Elementary," "Law & Order," "The Family," and "Life on Mars."  And now...his Disney credits! Robert recently revisited the role of Timon in Disney's "The Lion King" on Broadway after playing the role in NY in 2010, in the LA company in 2002 and 2003, and in Toronto in 2000. Also on Broadway, he played the role of Chef Louis in "The Little Mermaid," and was in the workshop, the out of town tryouts in Denver, and then the full Broadway run of "Frozen," where he originated the role of the Duke of Weselton - or is it Weaselton? Other Disney projects include VoiceOver work, where Robert sang as a thug in the song “I Got A Dream” in the movie, "Tangled." He also sang on two "Frozen" shorts and was part of the live action "Beauty and the Beast." Robert performed at the International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT with fellow Disney royalty Heidi Blickenstaff and Patti Murin. He was also part of multiple developmental workshops including "Aladdin" where he was the Genie, he did 2 workshops of "Newsies," and was in the development cast for "Tangled" for Disney Cruise Line...and speaking of Disney Cruise Line, he performed on 7 Disney Cruises, headlining in the Walt Disney Theatre! Take us away because we're celebrating the 20th anniversary of Freaky Friday (2003), the iconic Disney flick starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as a mother and daughter who swap bodies and are forced to live in each other's shoes. Throughout their day, they have their run-ins with school bullies, interesting therapy clientele, and love interests while navigating talk show appearances, wedding rehearsal dinners and band auditions. Buckle in for this episode because it starts off with Kaitlyn and Jeremy swapping bodies, themselves! Plus, since we're talking about a Disney movie, Jeremy tries not to use any naughty words. The results are interesting. During our discussion of Freaky Friday (2003), we talk about: Comparisons to the other versions of Freaky Friday, including the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers, 1976 original film starring Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster, the 1995 made-for-TV film starring Shelley Long and Gaby Hoffmann, the 2016 stage musical starring Heidi Blickenstaff and Emma Hunton, and the 2018 Disney Channel Original Movie starring Blickenstaff and Cozi Zuehlsdorff. How the “body-swap genre” works better in TV and film vs. books, plus callbacks to memorable body-swap stories on Charmed and (of course) Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Chad Michael Murray rocking long hair. Is it ethical for Jake to date Anna? Is Jake even a student?? Problematic depictions about mental health and the use of the word “crazy” in an ableist context. Racist Asian stereotypes behind Pei Pei (Rosalind Chao), Pei Pei's mom (Lucille Soong), and the staff of the House of Chang restaurant. Surprise! The Pink Slit song, “Take Me Away,” performed by Christina Vidal is actually a cover of a song by the Australian alternative punk rock group, Lash. Justice for Christina Vidal's one-season wonder Nickelodeon television show, Taina! Our personal experiences with “earthquakes” (note the giant air quotes!). More talk about how Gen Z doesn't use flat sheets, for some reason. How the Stacey (Julie Gonzalo) character doesn't really receive her comeuppance...except she does in a deleted scene that we didn't know about until after we finished recording. Kaitlyn getting very offended seeing a teacher do a crossword puzzle in the teacher's lounge. Jamie Lee Curtis being gender goals. This movie's connection to the original Freaky Friday film from 1976. The Bowling for Soup cover of “...Baby One More Time,” which triggers lots of Britney Spears talk. That time Chad Michael Murray made out with Jamie Lee Curtis (Quick fact check: Jeremy incorrectly stated that the interview was with Entertainment Tonight. It was actually Busy Tonight!) Whether this movie really needed Chad Michael Murray's character. A potential Freaky Friday 2? You can listen to the full episode by subscribing at the $5 level over at patreon.com/alwaysothpod. "I'm so glad Disney exists, because I don't know what I'd do without it in my life." Heidi Blickenstaff (Something Rotten, [title of show], The Little Mermaid, "Freaky Friday") joins the podcast to share her true love of this magical world. From going to the Parks as a child (and being scared to ride the "scary rides," like Dumbo the Flying Elephant) and being obsessed with Sleeping Beauty (and Malificent's language), Heidi shares how she's "always been a Disney girl through and through" and how she always finds Chip and Dale to take pictures, while pursuing her "courage goals" at Disneyland. From an interesting encounter with Snow White on the Disney Cruise Line, to sharing a stage with Gavin Lee at Festival of Arts at Walt Disney World, to then riding down Main Street USA with Donald Duck--this Broadway star has been living the Disney dream. Heidi discusses her love for Disney sidekicks, dancing as a lionhead fish (and later performing as Ursula) on Broadway in The Little Mermaid, and having the time of her life at Galaxy's Edge and meeting the characters in the Parks. I am so excited to be back with you for SEASON 2 of the podcast! You are going to love my conversation with LA based actress, screenwriter and singer/songwriter, Cozi Zuehlsdorff. Come listen and stand in amazement with us as we acknowledge the GLORY of our God. We talk about what it means to see His glory for what it is and live and work from a place of being secure in our identity in Him. I thought it was powerful when Cozi said “If you don’t accept that every good breath that leaves your body is God’s and God’s alone...then it’s what you bring to the table..it’s up to you to fight for the credit.” When we believe that God is the glorious one, then we desire to give HIM the honor and praise, and are released from fighting for our self-worth. We are worthy because He says we are. Cozi is best known in the film world for her role as Hazel in the feature films "Dolphin Tale” and “Dolphin Tale 2”. On TV, she was a staple on shows such as Disney’s “Liv & Maddie”. In 2018 she starred opposite Broadway star Heidi Blickenstaff as Ellie Blake in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Freaky Friday”. Cozi has also experienced success in the pop, singer/songwriter and EDM worlds, both as a writer and artist. Streams-to- date for her releases total over 200 million! She met her now husband while doing a production of the Who's Tommy while dating other people. During this episode we discuss how they met and fell in love, and how the sparks flew during an understudy rehearsal.  Both Nicholas and Heidi have the experience of being married before and Nicholas has children as well, and their perspective on becoming a blended family is fascinating. For this episode, we take a deep dive into the new Disney musical Freaky Friday, which was developed by disney theatrical productions expressly for licensing to professional and then amateur theatres. Cast member Jason SweetTooth Williams moderates a chat—recorded backstage at La Jolla Playhouse—with the show's two stars, Heidi Blickenstaff and Emma Hunton. Based on the classic Mary Rodgers novel and the hit Disney films, the show has a score by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning songwriters Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal, If/Then) and a book by Bridget Carpenter (TV's "Parenthood" and "Friday Night Lights"). Freaky Friday was directed and choreographed by Broadway vets Christopher Ashley (Come From Away, Memphis) and Sergio Trujillo (On Your Feet, Jersey Boys).    Following its world premiere at the signature theatre in Arlington, VA, Freaky Friday is currently playing a regional co-production that began at the La Jolla Playhouse. The production will play the Cleveland Playhouse from April 15th - May 20th. Tickets can be purchased at www.clevelandplayhouse.com.  Freaky Friday will play Houston's Alley Theater from June 2nd - July 2nd. Tickets can be purchased at www.alleytheatre.org.    The Freaky Friday studio cast recording is now available in CD hard copy or digital download wherever music is sold or streamed.

Here’s a look at some of the interviews that didn't make it into that musical but were too good not to share. First we have Damian Baldet as a famous porn director, Keith.
