True transformation begins with self-acceptance. In this episode, I sit down with Suzanne Raja, founder of Spa for HER Soul and co-founder of Warrior Sage, to explore her incredible journey from homemaker to transformational leader. Suzanne opens up about overcoming self-worth struggles, embracing authenticity, and the power of unconditional love. We dive into the importance of tuning into intuition, especially in the quiet moments of the morning, and why investing in yourself is key to living a radiant, fulfilling life. Key takeaways: Embracing self-worth and authenticity is essential for personal transformation. Self-investment is not a luxury but a necessity for a fulfilling life It's okay to evolve and step into new roles as life unfolds. True empowerment comes from within, not from external validation. Nellah was born in a small town in Central Slovakia. She always excelled in academic and extracurricular activities, listened to her parents, and strived to conform to societal rules and labels. Her passion was dance and, by the age of sixteen, she was managing her own dance group and leading personal and group training. Later in life, she was mesmerized by spirituality, and, with the guidance of a psychologist, she began practicing various techniques including meditations, breath work, Holotropic breathing, and energy work. After the fall of communism, she decided to try her luck and enter the world of big money, the entertainment industry. She traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Japan and gradually became a dancer in gentlemen's clubs where she stumbled into a life of substance abuse, trauma, and superficiality. After a near-death experience, she made a sudden decision to leave the industry. To survive and pull herself out of the darkness, she seized an opportunity to relocate to the United States, intending to change her life. She worked through the language barrier and speech difficulties to complete a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology, constantly transforming and improving herself. Over the years, she has done significant mental and spiritual work by herself and with her clients, mostly focusing on victims and perpetrators of crimes. She practices various psychological methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and flooding. The lack of spirituality led her to start a coaching practice where she combines a therapeutic approach with meditation, breath, and energy work. After years in the mental health field, she realized that her biggest asset is her and her approach to people, not the methods she mastered. She loves people, the regular and the edgy ones. Her biggest passion is writing. It comes naturally to her-she just has to take a pen and write. She writes everything, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or movie scripts. In her writings, she often discusses sensitive topics that are mostly considered taboos. Her book “A Stripper: From Japan Through Switzerland Into the Deepest Secrets of Her Soul” paints a picture of the reality of the entertainment industry as it pertains to club dancing and sex work. It is her memoir that represents thousands of untold stories of women and men in the industry. The book transports a reader to the seedy environment of nightclubs, overflowing with promiscuous entertainment outlets, dark corners of erotic manifestations, and the superficiality of it all. It is not just a sensational expose of a young woman gone astray, it also touches upon sexism and societal pressure which manipulates women into these precarious roles. The story sheds light on the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes that develop as a result of this type of work and reveals traumatic experiences that go hand in hand with substance abuse. Most of all, it unveils the rotten core of the industry that benefits from the oppression and degradation of women and men. A place, where money is more than human life and people are treated as commodities. Nellah clearly shows the mental, emotional, and physical damage caused by this line of work and offers guidance on the way out because transformation is possible. She questions the sole purpose of the industry and its tremendous impact on the whole society. A system that causes damage to people who can be sold, beaten, raped, or killed simply should not exist. Together we can make a better world for future generations, a world where human life is valued more than money. https://www.facebook.com/nella.mrazic?mibextid=ZbWKwL https://youtube.com/@talkaboutit9846 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BYC54YM5 nellahmx@gmail.com https://nellahmx.wixsite.com/nellahmx

What You'll Hear In This Episode:There's a reason why the men consistently that you're into aren't interested in pursuing something with you. Many of the successful women Lisa coaches are incredibly confident and should be. They sometimes need to be more intelligent about men. We need to be able to attract the men we want to attract, engage those men, and have the skills to engage those men so that we can have fun and get up close and personal. Lisa shares a story of a woman where it wasn't the dating sites that were off, but she realized she was the common denominator. Through working with Lisa and Benjamin, they give you a script you can use to ask these great men for feedback. Lisa talks about the feedback she got from a man who told her that he could tell she wasn't really ready and how that led her to end up meeting Benjamin, the true Guardian of Her Soul. How to show a great man that you have space and time for him, even if you have a successful and busy life. ***CONTENT WARNING - please read the show notes before proceeding. This episode is awe-inspiring but the topics we cover may cause discomfort.*** It's not every day that you come across someone who is willing to talk about the things that no one wants to talk about. In this episode, it's the adult s*x entertainment industry. The darkness that lurks in our society needs to be brought to light so that we can look it in the face and change it. That's why I applaud and love Nellah Mx for her bravery in sharing her story and doing her part to bring this darkness to the light so that we can prevent the generations after her from being thrown into the darkness. On this episode, I chat with Nellah Mx on: From str*pper to psychologist - the decision is always yours The realities of being in the s*x entertainment industry How to shift your reality Why sharing your story can help generations to come Plus so much more! Nellah is a Psychologist, Coach and Author. She was born in a small town in Central Slovakia. As a child, she listened to her parents, loved to study, dance and train in aerobics, and was a straight “A” student. By the age of sixteen, she became an aerobics instructor and managed her own dance group that mostly rejected old-fashioned styles and stiff ballet routines. Her desire to be a professional dancer and make a living out of it took her a different way. After the fall of communism, the borders opened, and she was eager to follow her dream. Just like many other girls from the former Eastern European block, she could not wait to make real money in the countries behind the borders. Nellah fulfilled her dream, in a slightly different form - she became a stripper. There, she mastered the language of flirting and manipulation and became a callous person with no emotions. Under the pressure of unpleasant experiences, she decided to leave this money-hungry industry that is based on sexual favours and transform her life. She moved to New York and signed up for college where she worked through the language barrier and adapted to the new lifestyle to complete a Master's degree in Psychology. She left all her stripper names behind and did not tell her past to anyone, up until now. She can't stay quiet seeing young girls going into sex work. When sex workers reveal their struggles and traumas to her, she can't just remain silent. When women are subjugated each and every day in the entertainment industry, she has to speak up. Currently, she works as a psychologist and a coach, and writing became her biggest passion. In this Teisho, given on January 11th, 2023, Rinzan Osho examines The Hidden Lamp: Senjo and Her Soul are Separated. When we deeply investigate ourselves, we will find not one, but many inner truths. Beneath those inner truths is a great "emptiness." But even this "emptiness" is not the fundamental truth. When the ocean waves are as true as the ocean depths, we have still to take responsibility for swimming.
Sometimes we all need to step back and regroup. This week I share with you guys my plan to disconnect from all the noise and reconnect with God.________Her Soul is now on Youtube ! Please show your support over there by subscribing to our channel
From Marion Davies's humble days in Brooklyn to her rise to fame alongside press baron William Randolph Hearst, the public life story of the film star plays like a modern fairy tale shaped by gossip columnists, fan magazines, biopics, and documentaries. Yet the real Marion Davies remained largely hidden from view, as she was wary of interviews and trusted few with her true life story. In Captain of Her Soul: The Life of Marion Davies (U California Press, 2022), Lara Gabrielle pulls back layers of myth to show a complex and fiercely independent woman, ahead of her time, who carved her own path. Through meticulous research, unprecedented access to archives around the world, and interviews with those who knew Davies, Captain of Her Soul counters the public story. This book reveals a woman who navigated disability and social stigma to rise to the top of a young Hollywood dominated by powerful men. Davies took charge of her own career, negotiating with studio heads and establishing herself as a top-tier comedienne, but her proudest achievement was her philanthropy and advocacy for children. This biography brings Davies out of the shadows cast by the Hearst legacy, shedding light on a dynamic woman who lived life on her own terms and declared that she was "the captain of her soul." Lara Gabrielle is a film writer and researcher whose work on Marion Davies has been featured in The Missouri Review, The Wall Street Journal, and on PBS's American Experience. She has spoken about Davies at film festivals and retrospectives worldwide and has served as a consultant on her life and legacy for books, dissertations, and film projects. Gabrielle's biography of Davies, Captain of Her Soul, is included in Alta Journal's Top 16 Books to read this September. She lives in Oakland, California. Learn more about your ad choices.
