In this insightful episode of Dr. Steven Lawson's podcast, we delve deep into the heart of Matthew 5:6, exploring the profound spiritual hunger and thirst for righteousness. Dr. Lawson unpacks the transformative beatitude from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, emphasizing the intense longing for divine righteousness that marks a true citizen of the kingdom of heaven. He illustrates the stark contrast between the fleeting satisfactions of this world and the eternal fulfillment found in Christ's imputed righteousness. Through verse-by-verse examination, Lawson explains how this spiritual craving not only signifies an entrance into God's kingdom but also shapes the believer's life within it, fostering a continuous pursuit of holiness and sanctification. This episode is a compelling call to recognize our spiritual bankruptcy, mourn our sinfulness, and humbly seek the righteousness that satisfies our souls and aligns us with God's holy standard. Join Dr. Lawson for a journey into understanding how the blessedness of hungering and thirsting for righteousness leads to ultimate satisfaction in Christ alone.

If you are ready to just get right to some of these major things we all struggle with around food and weight, you've got to give this one a listen. We cover some of meatiest topics: - what fasting means to us, - how the Lord is the one who satisfies us more than any food, - scarcity, - the bad fruit of sin that's in our lives that is the real issue in our hearts, - and, how could we not do - shame around food. So much good stuff and all just centered around our Savior. Just a beautiful conversation I'm sure I'll return to again and again too! So make sure you check it out!

You Bought It You Name It .

No one likes to believe in rumors, but most people enjoy passing them around. What’s the harm, right? There’s no way most of them are true. It strains credulity to believe that, for example, Billy Riley really has royal blood in his veins (royal to whom? From where?), or that Susan Santiago hasn’t slept in two years, and she spends each night pacing the halls with her eyes a milky white? Such stories are the stuff of schoolyard gossip. The truth, far stranger, is often harder to speak aloud.CW: Violence, body horror, alcohol, grief, dissociative episodes, blood.Blank City Nowhere is an actual play anthology podcast -- one world, many games, many misadventures. This episode, we play ‘Monsterhearts 2,' by Avery Alder. The Kataigida school for the arts stands as a beacon of culture in Lari, a symbol of its heritage of learning and its future. But in a city where no one lives past 60 (or at least, no one is supposed to), how much connection to a history do its people truly have? And what do these sharp young minds do within these walls?Being young is chaotic enough on its own. But for the students of Kataigida, their bodies and minds are changing and twisting in more ways than usual.Blank City Nowhere is an actual play anthology podcast -- one world, many games, many misadventures. This episode, we play ‘Monsterhearts 2,' by Avery Alder.
