How does a pricing strategy impact a business's exit plan? In a recent podcast discussion with pricing expert Jenny Miller, the critical role of pricing in maximising business value and ensuring sustainable profitability, even under new ownership, was uncovered. One key lesson from the conversation highlighted the significance of systemised pricing and its role in building confidence for potential buyers. Jenny emphasised the need for businesses to demonstrate consistent and reliable revenue streams, strong profit margins, and the ability to manage and communicate price changes effectively. This approach ensures that pricing is not reliant on the owner and can be sustained under new leadership. Understanding the psychology of pricing and transitioning from time-based to value-based pricing also emerged as a strategic solution. By aligning pricing with the perceived value and outcomes for customers, businesses can position themselves as more attractive investments and command higher sale prices. They have five amazing children: Jordan, Eli, Arianna, Avianna, and Thomas. As U.S. Missionaries, their mission is to resource and equip local churches to care for foster children, as well as their birth, foster, and adoptive families. They believe the church is the answer to the orphan care crisis in America.HOSTHerbie Newell is the President & Executive Director of Lifeline Children's Services and its ministry arms.CO-HOSTDr. Rick Morton is the Vice President of Engagement at Lifeline Children's Services.RESOURCESOlder youth in foster care face challenges as they get close to living independently. Without intervention, these youth often leave the foster care system with little or no positive adult support, limited knowledge of basic life skills, and limited resources. These situations often result in high percentages of unplanned pregnancies, school dropouts, becoming victims of child trafficking, abuse of their future children, and chronic homelessness. Through Heritage Builders, Lifeline equips churches to invest in the lives of these youth, both practically and spiritually. Your church can be part of changing the life trajectory of their lives. Jenny Miller takes a holistic approach with her clients, helping them to shift their identity into the most elevated version of themselves. The spiritual modalities she uses are primarily: breathwork, astrology and mediumship. She is highly intuitive and is gifted at offering spiritual guidance. This conversation Jenny and I have is centered around healing. We talk about what healing is, why it comes up, and the many reason's people might need healing. We discuss spiritual modalities used for healing and our own experiences. Jenny shares her journey to learning breathwork and in the very first session she went to, a health ailment she was dealing with vanished! She speaks of receiving "the call" to learning breathwork. In this conversation we talk about how there is no one right way to heal. Everyone is different of course. There is one through line for everyone though and that's getting to know yourself. Learning about ourselves is paramount in the healing journey and it happens to have an added benefit, heightened intuition! Thank you for tuning in! There is one story that had radiated through the witness list at the robo-debt royal commission, which profoundly altered the shape of that inquiry: the story of Rhys Cauzzo. There were many cases like his, but Rhys Cauzzo's experience under robo-debt sparked a fight for justice that still continues. Rhys Cauzzo killed himself in January 2017. The public servants and ministers responsible for this illegal debt-raising scheme effectively started a PR war to smear the reputation of a dead man. One woman, his mother, Jenny Miller, never gave up on finding the truth about what happened to her son. Socials: Stay in touch with us on Twitter and Instagram Guest: Rhys Cauzzo's mum, Jenny Miller.

The 28 year old died by suicide in January of 2017, as debt collectors pursued him for $17,000 dollars. After his death, his mother Jenny began to unravel just how many debt notices Rhys had received, and she decided to go public – speaking to The Saturday Paper about what happened to her son. On this episode I invited Jenny Miller, astrologist, intuitive guide and healer, to talk about astrology and the aspects we can expect through 2022 and the next few years.Jenny took on corporate jobs for years, which she describes as “bad boyfriend's”, always feeling like there was something off in the path she was taking. The biggest challenge for her to take the plunge and go down her own path was the fear of losing stability by jumping into the unknown but as she says, “it's about deprogramming those limits”. Not only our own, but the limits and fears our families can pass on to us.She realized she had psychic abilities and could tap into her intuition early on, when she started experiencing intense prophetic dreams. Afterwards, she started studying astrology because “you have a blueprint of somebody's soul” and that combines very well with a psychic reading.Jenny tells us that astrologically and energetically, we are moving into the age of Aquarius, which is all about tapping into YOUR OWN VOICE. We're also in a new beginning phase that started January 12th 2020 and which will last 16 years, heavily marked by a redistribution of power and “moving into new conditions of reality”.“Aquarius is the energy of going inward …and coming back to sovereignty.”In March 2023, Pluto will be moving into Aquarius bringing a major shift in personal perception and we'll be seeing more people going inward, which is essential for mental health. As we move into 2026 people will be forced to look into wellness as a whole. Going back to nature will be key, as well as using tools such as breath-work and being conscious of what you're putting into your body. The big energetic shift of this year going into 2022, started on December 23rd 2021: The square between Saturn and Uranus, which brings tension and movement going forward. Finally, we talk about February 2022 will bring a Pluto return where we can expect a reckoning. Where there have been wrongs done they will be righted at this time.HIGHLIGHTSJenny's journeyTuning into our intuitionThe fear of being ostracizedThe connection between psychic reading and astrologyMoving into the age of AquariusThe Redistribution of powerTriangular power structureRealizing that there is no teacherPluto moving into AquariusSquare between Saturn and UranusPluto returnABOUT JENNYJenny Miller channels higher consciousness and provides psychic coaching, astrology and breath-work to guide and assist her clients on their healing path. (Nevada News Connection) - There's a light at the end of the tunnel for rural Nevadans struggling with slow, spotty internet service as the Biden administration's infrastructure bill has allocated $65 billion for broadband improvements. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's ReConnect program just started taking applications for grants and loans to companies willing to build out networks to underserved areas. Lynn Manning John, vice-principal of Owyhee Combined School on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation, said her community desperately needs better coverage and more bandwidth. "In the building, we struggle with the internet going out regularly because the kids are on Chromebooks," Manning John explained. "And because of our location, which is a hundred miles from Elko, it sometimes takes us a day or two to get our internet back up." She pointed out the area has only a single cell tower, and pre-pandemic 90% of families had no home-based internet service. Rural areas often lack communication infrastructure, because the customer base is too small to provide a return on a telecom company's investment. Manning John said the future of her community, part of the Shoshone Paiute Tribe, depends on better broadband. "It cannot be left up to the market," Manning John contended. "These kids have a need. Internet is just as essential as indoor plumbing and electricity. It needs to be provided on the scale that we do any type of public service." Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Nev., voted against the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, saying it favors urban over rural and suburban areas and creates red tape. Jenny Miller, vice president of states and industry relations with the nonprofit advocacy group Connected Nation, said the country needs to make distance learning and telemedicine available to all, and to close the digital divide. "It's really a once-in-a-generation amount of money that is coming down the pipe," Miller emphasized. "There is a ton of political pressure to get this moving quickly. We needed this yesterday." --- Thanks for listening to the podcast. Help us out by sharing the episode, subscribing to the podcast, supporting our sponsors and joining our listener support program. Have you heard the term highly sensitive person? Are you one? In this episode I talk about what in means to be an HSP in the clinical sense. In Kimmswick, located about 25 miles downriver from St. Louis, flooding and the coronavirus pandemic have dealt back-to-back blows to local businesses and the municipal budget. Two major festivals in Kimmswick — the Apple Butter Festival and the Strawberry Festival — have been canceled the last two years. The events can draw 100,000 visitors to the small town and account for about 80% of municipal revenue. Business owners are struggling, too. In the latest installment of Outstate, our series on entrepreneurship in small-town Missouri, we look at how Kimmswick entrepreneurs are finding creative ways to attract customers to help both their businesses and the town. Plus, Global Entrepreneurship Week kicks off Monday. Because of the pandemic, the annual celebration of entrepreneurs has been forced to pivot this year. “It’s a more spectacular way to connect with people.”Much like yoga's ability to merge our bodies and our minds, in this episode The Body Electric Yoga and Athletic Company's Katelyn Grady shares how she and her partner Jenny Miller found how they could combine their passion for mindful fitness and their careers. Studying mindful spirituality in college, Katelyn sought to share that knowledge and way of living with as many people as possible. Once she found that could pursue her passion as her work, the yoga studio was born.“Your light lights other people up.”Motivated to light up as many others as possible, the pair grew The Body Electric beyond the studio, reaching out in the community with free classes at the Sundial, the Pier, and throughout St. Pete to get their name and their style of practice into the minds and bodies of the yoga community. In early 2020, they expanded to include the offerings of a "baby gym," bringing the same approach to fitness workouts that they used for yoga practice. As with most small businesses in 2020, the name of the game has been to pivot to find a sustainable model going forward. In this episode, Katelyn mentions that every Saturday at 2 PM, The Body Electric partners with the Urban Yoga Foundation for the People's Practice, a "pay what you can" practice that benefits the foundation.BE Mindful, BE Fit, BE ActiveConnect with The Body Electric:WebsiteYoga FacebookAthletic FacebookYoga InstagramAthletic InstagramYouTubeBE App iOSBE App AndroidSee Their Yelp! The Good Glow podcast will hear how Georgie Crawford put her life back together after a breast cancer diagnosis that changed her perspective on everything. Georgie feels there is a need for people to have more in depth conversations about our health and well being in order to drive awareness of self care. This week, Georgie speaks to Jenny Miller. Jenny and her family moved to Sri Lanka from Dublin in 2014, when her husband - a former Irish international rugby star - was offered a coaching job. Little did they know they would fall head over heals for a little two year old girl called Nisha from a nearby orphanage. Jenny, Eric and their daughter Hannah decided as a family that they would adopt Nisha after they all felt an incredible connection with her the first time they met. This story is truly incredibly special.
