=== SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT === If you've ever bought or sold a home before, you're already familiar with the term 'curb appeal'. If your house doesn't have it, it languishes on the market. The better your human 'curb appeal', the more value you have to women and the more 'buying signals' you get. So what in the world does it take to get your proverbial house in order? What if you don't necessarily live in a million-dollar neighborhood? And what if you're a real 'fixer-upper'? No worries...all the answers are in this brief episode. Check out the brand new Substack at https://mountaintoppodcast.com/substack === HELP US SEND THE MESSAGE TO GREAT MEN EVERYWHERE === The content in this show is NEVER generated by AI. Today, I deviate from our typical policy discussion to learn lessons from the collapse of Mark Robinson in North Carolina. The reason we can't even get our foot in the door to win on policy is because the fake conservative movement has a massive image problem with voters. I pick at an uncomfortable scab ailing the Republican Party, which is rampant morality problems that harm Republicans' image with hypocrisy. I offer both the strategic and theological case for building a movement only around those who live the lives of conservatives. Moreover, we need to move away from picking candidates based on superficial factors, such as race or viral moments, rather than a consistent track record of effectively living and fighting for our objectives. Dean also answers listener questions about entry doors and the right kind of door for different climates, pressure treated wood for fences and how to remedy an issue with a floating floor.
Dean continues his discussion of curb appeal and how to make the most of the first impression your home makes to someone driving by. Dean also takes listener calls about floating floor problems, and how to remedy a drywall texture issue after a water leak damaged the wall.
Dean talks curb appeal and how small changes can make a big difference in how your home is viewed by others and ultimately how it can help you get more for your money when you're ready to sell. Dean tackles listener calls on outdoor hoses, small gadget suggestions for Father's Day gifts, the value of investing in a 'Little Giant' ladder and a flickering issue with dimmable canned lights.
Did you know? The outside of your home is a reflection of the inside. Those scruffy looking plants, that unkept lawn and all the stuff on your front porch...those are telling a story about your home. Creating a home that you love coming home to doesn't just start once you open the front door, it starts when you turn into your driveway (or if we're feeling really philosophical - it starts in your mind and in your heart...we'll save that for another day). When people talk about curb appeal, of course it's an impression for others - often times the first impression, but it SHOULD be done for you! In this episode, I'm sharing four quick tips for boosting your curb appeal this weekend - and it goes beyond mowing the lawn and trimming the hedges. The yard and those scraggly bushes are important to take care of, but so is your front porch or your landing area. Do you have a topic you'd like me to talk about on the show?
