GRAMMY-nominated Nashville band Old Dominion has announced their anxiously awaited fourth full-length album, Time, Tequila & Therapy, will be released on October 8, 2021. To herald the record's arrival, the group shared a brand new song entitled “All I Know About Girls.”Backed by a bright acoustic guitar melody, this sweet and slick country bop builds towards a clever and catchy hook, “All I know about girls is the wide world ain't gonna spin without ‘em, but it'll spin around ‘em,”before an admission of sobering stone-cold truth, “All I know about girls is...I don't know nothing at all.”The band initially teased this chapter with their new hit single “I Was On A Boat That Day.”Eclipsing yet another benchmark, the song recently achieved the band's biggest radio impact date of their career. Right out of the gate, 132 stations added the song to rotation. As such, “I Was On A Boat That Day”was the second most added song of 2021. It has already gathered 20 million-plus streams and counting in addition to 2.2 million YouTube views on the music video. Sounds Like Nashville hailed it as “the up-tempo sand-bar anthem of the summer,”and Country Now promised the song “will quickly become the soundtrack to your summer.” Meanwhile, Rolling Stone applauded the tune's“appropriately buoyant rhythm and hum-along melodies.”Additionally, the guys took the stage at Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series to give the single its television debut(watch it HERE). “I Was On A Boat That Day”is available HERE. Watch the music video HERE.Time, Tequila & Therapy sees Old Dominion presenting13 tracks, where the boys survey the ups, downs, trials, and tribulations of life, love, and friendships while infusing their signature country sound with songwriting eloquence and arena rock ambition. The opener “Why Are You Still Here” glides along on organic percussion and piano as the song ponders what an ex is up to, “I don't want to know, but damn I want to know.”The upbeat “Hawaii”whisks Jimmy Buffet-style island bliss down south. Then, there's “No Hard Feelings” where the guys “took a little Time, Tequila & Therapy and threw it in a blender with ice”before intoxicating with another hummable hook. The “Empress of Soul” herself, Miss Gladys Knight, duets with Old Dominion on the Motown-by-way-of-Music-Row soul stunner “Lonely Side of Town.” The action all culminates with the bluesy guitar twang of the finale“Ain't Nothing Wrong With Love” as one final chant soars off to the heavens. Each band member—Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Brad Tursi, Whit Sellers, and Geoff Sprung—notably participated in the songwriting alongside Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. Tickets for the band's highly anticipated return to touring, “We Are Old Dominion” tour are on sale now and available. Teaming up with Indigo Road Entertainment, the group's first full-scale headline run since 2019 visits major markets and historic venues coast-to-coast 2021 is shaping up to be another milestone year for the guys. Recently, they took home the “Vocal Group of the Year”award at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards for the fourth consecutive time since 2018. Not to mention, they garnered their first career GRAMMY Award nominations. A standout from their chart-topping self-titled third studio album, “Some People Do” picked up nods in the categories of “Best Country Song” and “Best Country Duo/Group Performance.”

Kylie Morgan is a singer songwriter with a huge heart. She is a passionate performer who has used her love for music to talk with teens about anti bullying and mental health. She shares in this podcast about one of her first songs telling the story of a young girl who killed herself and around how that song then went onto touch and even save other lives once it was shared. That is when Kylie says she "really understood the power of music". EMI Records Nashville's Kylie Morgan began writing songs in her hometown of Newcastle, OK when she was only 12 years old. A masterful storyteller, the singer-songwriter released her music independently in her early teens, garnering national attention from music producers and television executives. At the age of 16, she was named “Who New To Watch” by the Country Music Association. This early success led Kylie to begin making regular trips to Nashville, crafting her voice and polishing her songwriting. When she turned 18, she made the decision to call Music City home. Recognizing Kylie's unique talent, the SMACKSongs team signed her to their roster under the guidance of GRAMMY Award-winning songwriters, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. An avid yoga enthusiast, Kylie has earned her official Yoga Alliance Certification. She participates in yoga daily and it has become part of her lifestyle. Kylie has previously toured with artists including Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Gavin DeGraw, Brett Eldredge and Billy Currington. Kylie was named as part of CMT's Listen Up Class of 2019 and will be performing shows across the country this summer, opening for Jon Pardi, Kip Moore, Devin Dawson, Lady Antebellum, Carly Pearce, and more. Kylie is currently in the studio working on her debut album with producers Shane McAnally and Ben Johnson. Connect with Kylie: Website Spotify Facebook Instagram TicTok Twitter YouTube
https://wittmbts3.godaddysites.com/ https://workflowy.com/s/social-media-for-wit/HfbK3lDslOAee3SM Sam Hunt had had the idea for the song stored away for some time. "I try to think of titles or lines that'll cross my mind and I'll put 'em in my phone, and this was one that I wanted to write for a while – the title 'Body Like a Back Road' – or use it as a lyric, do something with it," the Georgia native recalled. "I didn't have a melody, but one night this melody got stuck in my head and the phrase 'Body Like a Back Road' sang perfectly to it and the chorus came out pretty quick." Having come up a melody that fitted the title, Hunt started working on the song with producer Zach Crowell and a couple of writing buddies Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally in November of 2016. The quartet penned the bulk of the tune during a trip to Charleston, where they were hoping to work without the distractions of being in Nashville. Hunt recalled "I wanted to write it because I thought it was a fun song, but I didn't know for sure if I wanted to put it out. I didn't want it to come across as objectifying women or be too, to lack depth and just, I don't know. So, anyway, I had some concerns, but I tried to make it fun to offset any risks of those things happening, which made writing it fun, and I think that came across in the lyric and in the way we recorded it and everything else. When we finally finished it, it finally hit me as 'Ok. Wait a minute. Maybe I underestimated the potential of this song. I think this could be a fun song and it will connect with folks.' So, at that point, I was excited to put it out and fortunately folks have enjoyed it." --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/wittmbtsofficial/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/wittmbtsofficial/support

We had the pleasure of interviewing Manny Blu over Zoom audio! Country recording artist, Manny Blu will release a new EP, titled New Ink, on November 13, 2020. Manny’s debut single off the record, "Born To Ride," is now available and perfectly lays the groundwork for what is to come.Bringing to life a completely different side of the Montreal native, New Ink speaks directly to what Manny himself calls the "true heart" of the band's live shows: "There's more rock, more soul, and more volume this time around. It's bigger and louder, but it's still me. And more importantly, it's still fun."With his amplified mix of country twang and heavy rock & roll attitude, Manny brings his rebellious outlaw vibe to country music, creating an original sound that makes room for his blues and rock upbringing. While influenced by Brantley Gilbert, The Cadillac Three, and Jason Aldean, each of the five tracks heard on New Ink live in an edgy new space with rock-based instrumentals at the forefront. Recorded at OmniSound Studios in Nashville and produced by Aaron Eshuis, its rock-forward approach is fitting since the title stems from one of Manny's favorite bands, Mötley Crüe, and their album New Tattoo. One look at Manny, and it's no secret that he's a fan of tattoos-but to him New Ink means more than just thinking about the next one, for him, it's the release of his inner creative expression and his new sound to the world. The first single off of New Ink, "Born To Ride," is a track about finding that 'ride or die' person who will have your back as much as you have theirs—written by top songwriters Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman, and Josh Osborne, the track debuts today with a lyric video that provides a snapshot of Manny's acclaimed live shows.Consisting of four additional tracks telling the stories of real-life through love and heartbreak, Manny's upcoming EP displays substantial growth. Not only has 2020 already been a landmark year when it comes to streaming for the up-and-coming artist, it has also led to the development of global expansion with the addition of teams in the US, Canada, and the UK."Music is one of the most powerful elements to someone's life," said Manny when talking of the story behind the EP. "I think it can make what someone is going through ok, it can motivate, and empower people–so I tried to add a little piece of each of those things into New Ink."Manny continues to bring his vibe to country music–a sound he introduced with Leave It Like It Is, his debut record (2019) that earned him thousands of new fans and presented him with the opportunity to hit the road across Canada and the US. Last spring, Manny spent two months crossing Canada while opening for George Canyon's "Hit After Hit Tour" and then headlined his Canadian tour to close out the year. Earlier this spring, Manny crossed the US and Canada on another headlining tour. Fans can expect new show announcements in the coming months.ABOUT MANNY BLU:Manny Blu has always been a fighter. Years before he crisscrossed North America as an acclaimed country singer and a true road warrior-playing nightly shows in support of his 2019 debut album Leave It Like It Is, while also sharpening the larger-than-life sound that would fill his 2020 follow-up EP New Ink, Manny spent his days in the gym, training for a career as an MMA fighter.Traveling often to Nashville from his hometown of Montreal, he began piecing together a new record–one that showcased the lessons he learned on the road. Working with producer Aaron Eshuis and hit songwriters like Josh Osborne, Rhett Atkins, and Ross Copperman, Manny Blu emerged from Nashville's OmniSound Studios with New Ink. From "Born To Ride" to "Sink," these new songs tell relatable stories about love, loss, breakups, and everything in between, rooted in an amplified mix of country twang and heavy rock & roll attitude."I wanted the album to sound the way we do live," says Manny. "There's more rock, more soul, and more volume this time around. It's bigger and louder, but it's still me. And more importantly, it's still fun."Raised as a versatile athlete who played hockey, soccer, and football before kickstarting his MMA training at 16-years-old, Manny Blu hasn't lost that fighting spirit. If anything, he's gotten stronger, learning to roll with the punches and knock down any obstacles in his path. New Ink, with its hard-hitting hooks and country-rock edge, is the soundtrack to a career on the rise–and Manny Blu is ready to deliver a knockout blow. New Ink will be available on November 13, 2020.We want to hear from you! For some, Country Music Highway is just a highway. For Josh Osborne, it was the path that would eventually lead to his success. Ok…the cheese is over. None the less, Josh’s career is filled by cuts with Sam Hunt, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bently, Keith Urban, Brandy Clark, Chris Young, and way more. Lets not forget the awards he’s stuffin his pockets with. One of them is a Grammy, a hand full of CMA noms, multiple CMA Triple Play awards, and two nods from the ACM’s as Songwriter of the Year. As of today, Josh is riding pretty high with his cut of Sam Hunt’s, “Body Like A Back Road” staying at number 1 for 17 weeks on the country charts. I spoke with Josh in his writing room at SMACK Songs, a publishing and multi faceted artist development company in co-partnership with Shane McAnally. We chatted about his 10 plus years in struggling to even get a cut while having major publishing deals. We also breakdown Josh’s writing process, and how some of his biggest hits became the songs you know them as today. Josh brings struggle, triumph, heartache, hope, and advice in this one.
