Un mélange subtil de drame intense et de situations incongrues saupoudré de dialogues cuisinés aux petits oignons qui fait mouche à chaque fois. Une recette gagnante que l'on a retrouvée par la suite dans Evil (dont la quatrième et dernière saison vient de se terminer) et The Good Fight donc, série dérivée des aventures d'Alicia Florrick, diffusée entre 2017 et 2022. Mené par une Christine Baranski en grande forme, ce spin-off, intégré au catalogue de M6+, réussit là où bon nombre ont échoué : à exister par lui-même, sans renier ses origines. Ainsi, on retrouve des personnages qui ont, comme Diane Lockhart, fait la traversée entre les deux mondes : Luca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), Marisa Gold (l'excellente Sarah Steele), Julius Cain (Michael Boatman), Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston, désormais à la tête de son propre spin-off, Elsbeth, également créé par les King) ou encore le caillou le plus confortablement installé dans la chaussure de Diane : David Lee (Zach Grenier). Rien n'a été changé quant à leurs caractéristiques originelles, mais chacun trouve une place unique dans l'univers de The Good Fight. Et si le spin-off est parvenu à se forger une identité propre, c'est qu'il a insufflé dans ses intrigues des nouveaux reliefs scénaristiques : raciaux tout d'abord. Le cabinet Reddick, Boseman & Kolstad est spécialisé dans les cas de violences policières et, de manière plus générale, se concentre sur les préjudices liés à la couleur de la peau. Familiaux aussi, avec une plongée dans la vie maritale de Diane et de Kurt (Gary Cole), entre son profond amour pour lui et leurs divergences profondes, ou encore l'arrivée de Liz Reddick (Audra McDonald) ex-femme d'Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo) qui atterrit au cabinet suite au décès de son père, l'un des membres fondateurs. Un pedigree qui va causer une dissonance assourdissante entre le poids qu'elle pensait avoir et la réalité des faits. Politiques enfin (et surtout !) avec notamment un épisode particulièrement malin qui nous dépeint une réalité alternative dans laquelle Hillary Clinton a été élue présidente des États-Unis. Une série intelligente qui entérine le talent des King grâce à des personnages marquants et marqués, des affaires prenantes et une intégration constante de l'actualité. Clever-pop is Norwegian singer-songwriter Sandra Kolstad's craft. And that is not to say that her music isn't easily accessible or that there's any pretentiousness to it. Far from it! It's just that her songs have a distinct… otherness, possibly as a result of the experiences Kolstad draws on from her other artistic occupations (including being a novelist, actor and composter). Kolstad started off as a pianist, training with Norwegian composer, Wolfgang Plagge, but the wild Berlin scene where she spent a chunk of her 20s re-directed her attention from classical music towards dance and club culture. From her very first album, Crux, back in 2011, it was clear that Kolstad had something interesting to say as well as an interesting way of saying it. Her take on electronic pop has resulted in an eclectic interpretation of ideas, marrying intricate melodies and clever lyrics with unpredictable arrangements. Kolstad's attitude to pop has always offered a genuinely fresh feel. On Soft Hard, her latest album, which came out in the first half of 2024, Kolstad returns to her roots, embracing the piano and inviting it to socialise with the more machine-made sounds that characterise her discography. Teasing the album's release last year, Kolstad put out ‘Unlearning', a song she's described as being about shedding the learned perspectives that shape how we see the world, ourselves and others. A song that goes in several different, unexpected directions, ‘Unlearning' proved to be the perfect foreshadowing for an album that is always surprising and which allows you to discover new things with every listen. One of the people who helped Kolstad create this unique piece of work is Danish artist, Asbjørn, who co-produced the record. Asbjørn, ⁠the very first guest on Melody A.M.⁠ back in 2022, joins Doron as a guest-host on this interview with Kolstad. Together, the two musicians discuss their collaboration, share stories of their friendship and offer insights about their respective creative processes. Hvordan oppleves det å bli en kjent person over "natten"? Hvem er egentlig personen bak rollefiguren mange har sett på tv i over 19 år? I denne episoden har jeg vært så heldig å få besøk av Kim Kolstad. Han er en norsk tidligere skuespiller, forretningsmann og musiker, født den 22. juni 1970 i Oslo. Han er kjent for sin rolle som Jens-August Anker-Hansen i den norske såpeserien "Hotel Cæsar", som han spilte i flere perioder mellom 1998 og 2017. Kolstad har også en utdannelse fra Arts Educational Schools i London og har hatt roller i flere andre film- og TV-produksjoner.   Ved siden av skuespillerkarrieren har Kolstad engasjert seg i sosialt entreprenørskap. Han var med på å etablere Barbeco AS, som tilbyr miljøvennlige alternativer til engangsgriller, og LessTrash AS, som selger disse og andre miljøvennlige produkter gjennom nettbutikken lesstrash.no.   Musikalsk har han også gjort seg bemerket, blant annet med låten "Maybe Baby" som toppet VG-lista i 2000. Dr. Jordan Peterson speaks in-person with Todd and Krista Kolstad. After mortuary school, she moved to Flathead County, Montana where she spent the next 13 years as a licensed mortician and funeral director. She married Todd Kolstad in 2017 and recently moved to Glasgow Montana to give her daughter a fresh start. She has been working with her husband Todd at his company, Montana Technical Solutions since 2021. A Glasgow, Montana native, Todd Kolstad spent his high school years in the Phoenix, Arizona area. He served in the Air Force from 1987 to 1991 mostly stationed in Kadena Air Base with the 12th tactical fighter squadron. After his military service he worked for Siemens nuclear power for 10yrs doing nuclear instrumentation. He then worked for KLA-Tencor performing laser alignment robotics globally. He then returned to the glasgow Montana area and started the company he has today: Montana Technical Solutions. Todd has five children with his ex wife.
