Join Jay (@Nightswarm), Johnny (@JohnnyRiot), & Bryan (@MajorPotty) as they dive into this weeks burning question(s); Physical or Digital? This will be a two part series that will take you through the facts of the debate, then discuss some of our opinions and personal experiences. We start at the birth of digital distribution, discuss influence, move through the rise of the fabled "MIDNIGHT RELEASE", and jump to modern day. The wedding sector is getting crushed by lockdown, what else can we do? Except laugh at the misfortunes of our beautiful yet ..'quirky' shall we say, Meg.

Do you have Faith? Are you watching Stumptown? We like it. The X-Men #1 Midnight Release was a fun success. That leads us to remember the fandom that once saw us go to midnight events outside of the comics industry. More people are adding all 6 Dawn of X titles, but will they STAY on them? DC Comics January 2020 new announcements. Kevin Feige is the new Chief Creative Officer (or Ossifer) of all Marvel. Movies AND Publishing. Is it a paradigm shift?? We, and the comics industry as a whole, owe Jeff Smith a huge thank you. Netflix making a Bone show is a good start. Chicago Teachers—we support you!! We went to West Town Academy to help a TV Production class. Tickets for our AJ Mendez/Aimee Garcia signing are available here: http://tinyurl.com/glowsigning Kent Fremon has a vinyl toy art show at Galerie F on Friday, October 25! Probably the last time we’ll talk about Action Comics #1000. This time, how the Midnight Release went, and how it compares to previous midnight releases. It sure seems like Marvel wants a piece of DC’s Action cover success with all their upcoming Amazing Spider-Man #800 covers (with still more to -be-announced). Too bad they’re going about it in a way that doesn’t help build excitement. X-CLASSIFIED, written and drawn by CLASSIFIED starring CLASSIFIED sure isn’t the way to solicit a title. We really like Esad Ribic’s art, but not his cover to Fantastic Four #1. Lots of new customers in this week couldn’t find our New Releases. INFIDEL #2 is as good as #1, and THE DAMNED #9 is so good! As is BE PREPARED. Michael Kupperman has “All The Answers.” We think our Book Party book club revival is already coming to an end. Helping a colleague work thru his upcoming venture’s early issues as part of a brain trust. Genre-racking was as good of an idea as we hoped it would be.
Welcome to another episode of “Patrick’s Ax to Grind.” Dal filmed for Pointy (don’t worry; we explain what Pointy is). Patrick had another rough Friday thanks to Google inventory-checkers. Our new New Release TV is up (thanks, Jack!) Weird phone calls, comic shop Google reviews and a cute kid story. The huge signing that wasn’t to be. We’re doing a Midnight Release for DC’s Dark Nights Metal #1. You should maybe take a look at Elsewhere (Image) and Mech Cadet Yu (BOOM!). Yes, we talk about both of those again. Dal is digging Arkham Knight.
Kaz plays World of Moosecraft, Kyle dives further into Nioh, and William levels up his Smash 4 game. In news, we get excited for the Switch, midnight releases, and Pokemon Go additions. In less happy news, we talk game delays and losing $10,000 worth of games in the mail. Then in this week's Save Point, Kyle captures his nosatlgia for Ape Escape. Come pause with us!

This week, Joe and Kaleb meet up with some fans of Final Fantasy at the Provo GameStop on release night. They interview fellow Final Fantasy fans about their interest in the series, and in Final Fantasy XV as a whole. They also dive into how underwhelming the midnight release was, and attribute much of it to the growing popularity of digital downloads. Kaleb Craig and a few other listeners then weigh in on their experience thus far in Final Fantasy XV. Enjoy the grind, and thanks again Troy!
When throwing a party it's always considerate to inform your neighbors because, when your neighbor is the Blood Widow you're in for more than a noise complaint. Episode 65 of Dead Air is here where Wes and Lydia review a modern day Slasher from Midnight Release. Laurie and Hugh buy a house and while Laurie has visions of a rural lifestyle of peace and togetherness Hugh, has visions of having the greatest party house ever. Tensions flare when the house fills with people intent on having a good time. However, When they manage to disturb a very disturbed woman lingering in an abandoned boarding house next door, well, heads, like the good times...will roll. Also, Wes and Lydia talk about old-school trips to the video store while Wes rants about reviewer scores.

Staughton hosts the eighth episode of the podcast, co-hosted by Chris, Josh, and Ryan. Topics in this episode include: with the new generation of consoles hitting gamers, how important are graphics in video games really; should our future missions to Mars be round trip exploration missions or one-way colonization outings; is waiting in line for a release, movie tickets, Black Friday, or any other big event really worth the hassle; and has the stream of military tech advancements to consumers dwindled and possible even reversed, so that military now relies on consumer tech more heavily?
The Duo wanted to avoid Grand Theft Auto, but that didn't happen. Possible minor spoilers. Keith mentions some stupid criminals who are die-hard gamers. Greg some how gets us on Nazis and everyone ends up happy.
