After Prophet Muhammad declared Ali ibn Abi Talib's successorship, the angel Gabriel descended with an extension of the verse Quran 5:3, adding "today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed my blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion", showing that there's a version of Islam that's perfected and a version that's incomplete. After the kutba, the people were commanded to pledge allegiance to Imam Ali, and the prophet instructed them to greet him with the title Commander of the Faithful. The Prophet instructed Ali to sit in a tent across from his own tent and ordered the Muslims to enter in groups to congratulate him and refer to him with the new title. This process took three days, and included the Muajirun, Ansar, outling Arab tribes, and the prophet's wives.By requiring the Muslim community to personally greet Ali with the new title, the Prophet legitimized Imam Ali's position and left no room for doubt in the mind of anyone present. Many sources say the companions of the prophet came to Imam Ali and congratulated him on the leadership. The first to address him was Umar ibn Al-Khattab, saying "O Ali, you have become my master and the master of every momin and momina"After the three days had passed in Ghadir, a man from the tribe of Banu Makhzum (a staunch enemy of the prophet) arrived and said "O Muhammad, I wish to ask you about three matters..." and he asked if the shahadah, if the laws of islam, and if Ali's successorship was from the prophet or from Allah. When the prophet replied that they were all from Allah, the man became very angry and said "Oh Allah, if Muhammad is truthful then blast me with fire" and within minutes he was struck by lightning.Lecture notes available at http://www.why-quran.org/?p=777.Subscribe at http://www.why-quran.org/subscribe to watch the lectures live and participate in the Q&A at the end of each class.Video recording of this lecture + Q&A available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9hESB_xSZA&list=PLpkB0iwLgfTat-Pgh4W3WFmupPamiC9UT.

Al-ʻAlaq (Arabic: العلق, al-ʻalaq, also known as "The Clinging Thing" or "The Embryo"[1]), is the 96th chapter of the Qur'an. It is composed of 19 verses. It is sometimes also known as Sūrat Iqrā (سورة إقرا, "Read") Chapter 96 of the Qur'an is traditionally believed to have been Muhammad's first revelation. It is said that while Muhammad was on retreat in the Cave of Hira, at Jabal al-Nour near Mecca, the angel Gabriel appeared before him and commanded him to "Read!". He responded, "But I cannot read!". Then the angel Gabriel embraced him tightly and revealed to him the first lines, "Read: In the name of your Lord Who created, (1) Created man from a clot. (2) Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous, (3) Who taught by the pen, (4) Taught man that which he knew not."[2] (Bukhari 4953). It is traditionally understood the first five ayat or verses (1–5) of Surah Alaq were revealed; however, this is not the first fully complete Surah to be revealed and was actually revealed in 3 parts. Summary 1-5 Angel Gabriel commanding towards Muhammad to recite the first verses of the Qur'an 6-14 Rebuke of Abu Jahl for hindering the Muslim cause.15 ۩ 19 Abu Jahl threatened with the torments of Hell as punishment.[3] 1-5 The first revelation Main article: Muhammad's first revelation The first five verses of this sura are believed by some commentators to be the first verses of the Quran claimed to be related by Muhammad. He received them while on a retreat in a mountain cave at Hira, just outside the city of Mecca, in 610 CE. A few commentators disagree with this account, claiming that the first revelation was the beginning of surat al-Muddaththir or surat al-Fatiha, but theirs is a minority position. Moreover, the term إِنْسَان‎ insān, which is translated "man, human", appears 65 times in the Qur'an, meaning "humanity".[4] Translation 1. Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 2. Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 3. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 4. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)], 5. Has taught man that which he knew not. 6. Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed, etc.). 7. Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 8. Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 9. Have you (O Muhammad ()) seen him (i.e. Abu Jahl) who prevents, 10. A slave (Muhammad ()) when he prays? 11. Tell me, if he (Muhammad ()) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 12. Or enjoins piety? 13. Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Qur'an), and turns away? 14. Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 15. Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, 16. A lying, sinful forelock! 17. Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 18. We will call the guards of Hell (to deal with him)! 19. Nay! (O Muhammad ())! Do not obey him (Abu Jahl). Fall prostrate and draw near to Allah!

Al-Ghāshiyah (Arabic: الغاشية, "The Overwhelming", "The Pall") is the 88th chapter (surah) of the Qur'an, with 26 ayat or verses. The surah's topics are Paradise, Hell and the miracle of the creation of all things by God. This surah refers to three broad-ranging topics. First, God describes the difference between good and evil paths that an individual can take and the consequence of each path. God then clarifies their destiny and describes what hell would be like for the non-believers. The second theme mentions the creations God has made, referring to the sky, the earth, and the mountains. Lastly, in verses 21–22, God gives a direct message to Muhammad and tells him, "So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller."[1] Summary 1-3 The terrible day of judgment 4-7 Description of the torments of hell 8-16 The joyful state of the Muslims on the judgment-day 17-20 God manifests himself in his works 21-22 Muhammad only to warn, not to rule over, the infidels 23-26 God will himself punish the unbelievers[2] Hadith Al-Dahhak b. Qais asked al-Nu'man b. Bashir: What did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recite on Friday after reciting the Surah Al-Jumua (62). He replied: He used to recite, "Had the story of overwhelming event reached you?" (Al-Ghashiyah).[3][4][5][6][7] Samra ibn Jundab narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in the Friday prayer: "Glorify the name of your most high Lord" (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Al-Ghashiyah).[8][9][10][11] Abu Bakr bin An-Nadr said: We were in At-Taff with Anas, and he led them in praying Zuhr. When he had finished, he said: ''I prayed Zuhr with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he recited two surahs for us in the two rak'ahs: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' (Quran 87) and 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?"' (Al-Ghashiyah).[12] It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite in the Eid prayers ''Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High." (Surah 87) and "Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?" (Al-Ghashiyah).[13][14][15][16] It was narrated from al-Nu'man b. Bashir that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite on the two Eid prayers and on Jumu'ah: "Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" (Surah 87) and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" (Al-Ghashiyah) Sometimes the two (Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).[17][18][19]

Al-Insan ("Human") (alternative names: al-Dahr, "Endless time", Hal Ata, "Has There Not come") is the 76th chapter of the Quran, with 31 verses Recitation by Muhammad A hadith narrated by Abu Hurayra said that Muhammad used to recite Al-Insan together with As-Sajdah (chapter 32 of the Quran) for the early morning prayer (fajr) every Friday This report also appears in Tafsir Ibn Kathir The Noble Quran 1 Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? 2 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer 3 Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful 4 Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire 5 Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur 6 A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allah will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly 7 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading 8. And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, 9 (Saying): “We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you 10 “Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislikeness to it)” 11 So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy 12 And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient 13 Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon) 14 And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach 15 And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal, 16 Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes 17 And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc), 18 A spring there, called Salsabil 19 And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls 20 And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion 21 Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink 22 (And it will be said to them): “Verily, this is a reward for you, and your endeavour has been accepted” 23 Verily! It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to you (O Muhammad ) by stages 24 Therefore be patient (O Muhammad ) and submit to the Command of your Lord (Allah, by doing your duty to Him and by conveying His Message to mankind), and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them 25 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and ‘Asr prayers] 26 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and ‘Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer) 27 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard) 28 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement 29 Verily! This (Verses of the Qur'an) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah) 30 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise 31 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc) He has prepared a painful torment

He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went off. I waited a while, and then he (the Prophet) said, "O `Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." What is Sharia Law in Islam? Do Muslims Want to Spread Islamic Sharia Law to Non-Muslim Countries?

Among the most misunderstood and abused terms and concepts of Islam, both by non-Muslims and Muslims alike is the Sharia Law. Sharia is often portrayed in the media as evil and barbaric, an evil that extremists and terrorists follow, preach, and try to spread in the West. The media often do this for political reasons. The term "Sharia" linguistically originates from an Arabic word meaning "a path that leads to a watering place." Figuratively, the word refers to a clear, straight path. In Islam, Sharia Law means Divine legislation, the infallible law of God, as opposed to human legislation. Sharia is a set of Divine laws and ethics that Muslims live by to draw closer to God and to live in justice and kindness in honor of His Creation.  "And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but He intended to test you in what He has given you; so race to all that is good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will then inform you concerning that over which you used to differ" (Quran 5:48)No society can function without rules and regulations; without legal boundaries, society will dissolve into anarchy and chaos. Most religions feature sacred Divine laws and ethics equivalent to Islam's Sharia - for instance, Judaism's Halakah Law and the Catholic's Canon Law. Shariah provides the legal framework for the healthy foundation and functioning of society. The religion of Islam incorporates a set of rules and regulations that protects and preserves the rights and freedoms of individuals and society. It is a doctrine concerned with justice, equality, and respect for all. The Sharia Law is derived from the Holy Quran, its primary source, and the Sunnah (teachings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH), a secondary source. Laws of Sharia also come from Islamic Scholars, who, in their conveyance of the law, draw upon an interpretative process that includes Qiyas (reasoning by analogy, derived from the primary sources), Ijma (the consensus of the opinions held by the Prophet's companions and agreements reached by Islamic scholars), and Ijtihad, the effort to arrive at one's own judgment or reasoning to seek the answers that go unaddressed by the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah. Of these five sources, the first two are Divine, while the other three (Qiyas, Ijma, and Ijtihad) are humanistic efforts based on independent juristic reasoning. Sharia Law is applied to protect and preserve five basic rights: the right to practice religion, the protection of Muslim and non-Muslim life, the safeguarding of the mind/intellect/reason, the preservation of honor, dignity, and family, and the sanctity of wealth and property. The Sharia aims to secure humanity's welfare and establish a righteous society. Shariah is more than just Islamic Law; it is not limited to legal issues. Sharia deals with ethical, moral, political, and social codes of conduct for Muslims at the individual and communal levels. Sharia deals with every aspect of life, such as economics, politics, crime, diet, spirituality, hygiene, sexual intercourse, and more. These laws tell Muslims precisely what God expects from them and how they can please Him.  Man was created solely to worship and serve God, and without the guidance of God showing the right path, no one can achieve this purpose. These laws tell Muslims precisely what is permissible to do, eat, and drink and how to dress, sleep, and even relieve themselves. These laws also outline what Muslims are not permitted to do.

Not only does the Holy Quran prophesize future events, but the text tells many stories of past events, past nations, and past prophets, such as the stories of Prophet Joseph, Moses, and Jesus PBUT. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH lived in the middle of the desert with no libraries available because the Arabian Peninsula was a backward, antiquated nation at the time. He was unlettered and grew up among illiterate idol worshippers without knowledge of the Scriptures. He had no way of reading or conjuring these stories shared in the Holy Quan."That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous." (Quran 11:49)

If God Exists, Why Does He Allow Evil, Pain, Suffering, and Sickness?

TheSincereSeeker's Podcast

Throughout history, a single question has plagued humanity; a question often asked about an issue that all Abrahamic religions face. If an All-Powerful God, who is All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All-Hearing, Loving, Most-Merciful, and All-Just in control of All things and matters, exists, then why do people experience evil, pain, and suffering in this world? Why must we contend with sickness, natural disasters, starvation, war, calamities, corruption, and killings? If God is Most-Merciful, All-Loving, All-Good, and All-Just, why does He allow such atrocities to happen? The existence of evil ranks among the top reasons people reject the concept of religion or the belief in a Higher Power. This concept is known as the "problem of evil." Many have concluded that God could not exist because of the presence of evil; if He does exist, He is a cruel, unjust God who enjoys seeing people suffer and in pain. They summarize that such a God is not worth worshipping if He is unaware, uncaring, and incapable of removing and controlling evil elements.People who reject God because they cannot grapple with the problem of evil do not adequately understand the conditions of darkness and pain. They reject God because of their lack of understanding. The decision to disbelieve the existence of God only adds more confusion, leading to the emergence of questions as to why we were created, where we are destined to go, etc.  An atheist that rejects God removes God from the equation, but suffering still exists. Disbelieving only eliminates the quality and significance of the suffering and no longer gives it purpose or meaning. One could have suffered their whole life, only to end up in their grave eternally with no justice or recompense for what they had endured, and those who committed evil can get away with their misdeeds. However, with God in the equation, suffering has meaning, and the victims and the oppressed eventually receive justice in this world or the next. Without God in the picture, they may not. The fact that evil exists does not negate the existence of God.The Angels first asked the question of evil upon God, the Almighty's announcement that He was creating a new form of beings called humans."And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, Indeed, I will make upon the Earth a successive authority" (Quran 2:30)The Angels responded with a question:"…They said, 'Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and You?" (Quran 2:30) God answered: "…Indeed, I know that which you do not know" (Quran 2:20)Although God did not explain nor rationalize the answer to their question, the Angels were satisfied with this response; this is owing to their complete humility before, trust in, and faith in God's Wisdom and Knowledge while recognizing His Wisdom as Perfect and without flaws. The Angels did not assume God's Wisdom was incorrect simply because they could not understand nor comprehend that Wisdom. Humans never will understand the reason behind the world's pain and suffering, as our limited, finite minds cannot comprehend God's logic. However, the fact that our intellectual capacity cannot understand and evaluate the Wisdom behind pain and suffering does not nullify that Wisdom. How can we judge the situation or God without attaining the necessary information to do so? God states in the Quran:"…And mankind has not been given of knowledge except a little" (Quran 17:85)

Did Islam Start After Judaism and Christianity? Is Prophet Muhammad PBUH the Founder of Islam?

Contrary to popular belief, Islam is not a relatively new religion that came into existence only 1400 years ago, back in the 7th century. Islam, in truth, has existed since the first moment humankind set foot on Earth. The final Prophet of humanity, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, was not the founder of Islam--as many people mistakenly believe. Instead, he was sent as the last and final Prophet of God.  He was delivered by God the Almighty to convey His universal and eternal message to our nation - the final nation. When Prophet Muhamad PBUH appeared, he did not bring a new religion. Instead, he cast light upon a faith that already existed. Prophet Muhammad PBUH renewed the preceding monotheistic religion, that which has been preached and taught by every previous Messenger and Prophet of God.  Prophet Muhammad PBUH was only the last and final Prophet, the very seal of the Prophets. Islam is the continuation, the culmination, and the completion of God's universal and eternal message to humanity, as revealed to all of God's previous Messengers and Prophets.Like all previous Prophets and Messengers of God, Prophet Muhammad PBUH preached and taught Tawheed—the oneness of God. He taught that God Alone is worthy of worship and veneration and is the Creator of all. No other being is worthy of worship, not the Sun, the Moon, or idol. People have been practicing Islam since the creation of Prophet Adam PBUH. Throughout history, anyone who practiced monotheism, submitted to God's will, and followed the Prophet sent to them was considered a Muslim. Throughout the ages, God the Almighty sent Prophets and Messengers to guide and teach their nations in the way of Islam. All Prophets preached the same general message to their nations. All of God's Messengers and Prophets were Muslims by definition because the term Muslim translates to mean 'those who submit their will to God the Almighty.'"He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back to Him" (Quran 42:13) All three major world religions–Islam, Christianity, and Judaism–portray the Prophet Abraham PBUH as an inspiring example of someone who submitted himself entirely to God and worshipped Him alone. As a result, the Prophet Abraham, PBUH, plays a prominent role in history and religion. The Holy Quran shares stories of Prophet Abraham's firm and steadfast belief in God. He is one who called and preached the oneness of God and rejected the idea of idolatry. However, he later faced various difficult tests and hardships God placed before him, testing his belief and loyalty. The Holy Quran states that Prophet Abraham PBUH was neither a Jew nor a Christian. Prophet Abraham PBUH could not have been a Jew as the term Judaism originates from the name Judah, a name belonging to a man who resided in the land of Judea and was the grandson of Prophet Abraham PBUH. How could Prophet Abraham PBUH be a Jew if he was born before his grandson, for which Judaism was named? The term 'Judaism' is not found anywhere in the Torah.Prophet Abraham PBUH could not have been Christian since Christianity follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, and Prophet Abraham PBUH was born before Jesus Christ. The term 'Christianity' is also not found anywhere in the Bible, nor has any Prophet, including Jesus Christ, ever acknowledged it. The word Christianity was introduced much later and never was spoken in the life of Jesus Christ.

The concept of Khalifa in Islam is one of great importance, as it denotes the idea of a successor, a representative or a steward of Allah on earth. However, the true meaning of Khalifa has been a topic of debate among Muslim scholars, with some arguing that it is a position that can be attained through election or appointment by human beings, while others believe that it is a position that can only be attained through divine appointment. In this research paper, we will examine the concept of Khalifa in Islam, and present evidence from the Quran and narrations to support the argument that only Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib was the true Khalifa of Allah. Introduction: The concept of Khalifa in Islam is one that has been discussed by many scholars throughout history. The term Khalifa is derived from the Arabic word “Khalafa,” which means “to succeed” or “to follow after.” In Islam, the Khalifa is the successor of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Prophet after his death. However, the true meaning of Khalifa has been a topic of debate among Muslim scholars, with some arguing that it is a position that can be attained through election or appointment by human beings, while others believe that it is a position that can only be attained through divine appointment. In this research paper, we will examine the concept of Khalifa in Islam and present evidence from the Quran and narrations to support the argument that only Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib was the true Khalifa of Allah. The Concept of Khalifa in Islam: The concept of Khalifa in Islam can be traced back to the Quran, where it is mentioned in several verses. In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 30, Allah says, “And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, ‘Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (Khalifa)'” (Quran 2:30). This verse establishes the idea that Allah has appointed a Khalifa on earth to carry out His will. In another verse, Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 73, Allah says, “And We made them leaders (Imams) guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of Zakah; and they were worshippers of Us [alone]” (Quran 21:73). This verse suggests that the Khalifa is appointed by Allah and guided by His command, and is responsible for performing good deeds, establishing prayer and giving Zakah. From these verses, it is clear that the concept of Khalifa in Islam is one that is divinely ordained and appointed by Allah. It is not a position that can be attained through human election or appointment.

And after you, among your people and your nation, made him your minister and your caliph. Through him, the people suffering from death will be saved, the people trapped in error will be guided. Blind people will get sight through him, and the sick will be healed. I said: O my God! When will all this happen? It was revealed, it will happen at the time when: Knowledge will be removed from the world and ignorance will be all over Recitation will be done frequently but the Qur'an will be followed less often Killings will be more frequent The jurists of guidance will be few and the jurists of misguidance and treachery will be more Poets will be numerous and abundant Your nation will turn graves into mosques The Quran and mosques will be decorated well There will be a lot of riots Evil, evil deeds, and major sins will be open without any regard to humility Your Ummah will be ordered to do evil things and be prevented from doing good things. Men will be satisfied with men Women will be satisfied with women Leaders will be Kafir and infidels, their friends will be Fajir and their assistants and helpers will be tyrants, their advisers will be transgressors. At that time there will be: Three eclipses - one will be in the east, the other will be in the west. , and the third will be an island in Arabia Basra will be destroyed by a person from your seed, with Zanuj (Abyssinians) behind him. The last of these eleven will be followed by Isa bin Maryam. He will fill the earth with justice just as would be filled with injustice. Through him, the people suffering from death will be saved, the people trapped in error will be guided. Blind people will get sight through him, and the sick will be healed.

While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. No traces of journeying were visible on him, and none of us knew him. He sat down close by the Prophet (ﷺ) rested his knees against the knees of the Prophet (ﷺ) and placed his palms over his thighs, and said: "O Muhammad! Inform me about Islam." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied: "Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger (ﷺ), that you should perform salah (ritual prayer), pay the zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House (the Ka`bah at Makkah), if you can find a way to it (or find the means for making the journey to it)." He said: "You have spoken the truth." We were astonished at his thus questioning him (ﷺ) and then telling him that he was right, but he went on to say, "Inform me about Iman (faith)." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in fate (qadar), both in its good and in its evil aspects." He said, "You have spoken the truth." Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet He sees you." He said, "Inform me about the Hour." He (the Prophet) said, "About that the one questioned knows no more than the questioner." So he said, "Well, inform me about its signs." He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went off. I waited a while, and then he (the Prophet) said, "O `Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said, "That was Jibril. He came to teach you your religion." [Muslim]

This Surah has 11 verses. It takes its name from verse 1: “وَالضُّحَىٰ” (By the morning brightness) where the word “الضحى” meaning “The Morning Brightness” appears. This Surah was revealed in Mecca most probably during the early days of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood, and most likely was among the first ten surahs to be revealed. This Surah addressed to Prophet Muhammad and assures him that his Lord had not forgotten him. As discussed in Surah Muddathir, history, ahadith and traditions tell us that the first revelation upon Muhammad was the first five verses of Surah Alaq but than there was a long interval and revelation stopped. This caused much pain and grief to the Prophet. So much so that he tried to reach at the top of the hill to throw himself down, but just when he tried to do so Angel Gabriel appeared and told him that he truly was a Prophet of God and the first experience of revelation was real and not his doubt or his mind's creation. Traditions tell that this was same sort of interval when for a period of time, the revelations stopped. The unbelievers mocked Prophet Muhammad saying that “Muhammad's Lord has abandoned him.” It is recorded in various traditions in Bukhari, Muslim and also by Ahmed bin Hanbal that there was a long interval and Angel Jibril was slow in coming to the Prophet of God PBUH. So the idolaters said, “Muhammad's Lord has abandoned him.” Thus Allah revealed, وَٱلضُّحَىٰ • وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ • مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ By the forenoon. By the night when it darkens. Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. On the explanation of “وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ” “And the Hereafter is better for you than the first” It applies on everything and every phase of time of Prophet Muhammad. History proved this verse was a miracle as every next moment for Prophet is this world was better than previous in terms of increase in his followers as well as spreading of message and dominance of Muslims over land and area. Then it also applies similarly to the worldly life of Prophet and hereafter. That's why Prophet was so keen of going from this world that when on his death The Angel of Death told him that Allah Subhan Taalah had given him choice of remaining in this life forever and then going to Paradise or moving on to the company of Allah, he chose that which is with Allah over this world Ahmad bin Hanbal, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah recorded a narration from Abdullah bin Masud who said, “The Prophet of God PBUH was lying down on a straw rug, and it left marks on his side. Then when he woke up, he began to rub his side. So I said, O Prophet of God PBUH, will you allow us to spread something soft over this straw rug. He replied, مَالِي وَلِلدُّنْيَا، إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الدُّنْيَا كَرَاكِبٍ ظَلَّ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ ثُمَّ رَاحَ وَتَرَكَهَا I have nothing to do with this world. The parable of me and this world is like a rider who rests in the shade of a tree, then he passes on and leaves it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/wow-be-podcast/message

(6:1) All praise is for Allah alone, Who created the heavens and the earth, and brought into being light and darkness, and yet those who have rejected the call of the Truth ascribe others to be equals to their Lord. (6:2) He it is Who has created you out of clay, and then decreed a term (of life), and has also appointed another term, a term determined with Him. Yet you are in doubt! (6:3) And He it is Who is One True God in the heavens and in the earth. He knows your deeds - both secret and open - and knows fully whatever you earn. (6:4) Yet every time a sign of their Lord comes to them, they turn away from it, (6:5) and thus they gave the lie to the Truth that has now come to them. Soon they will come upon some news concerning what they had mocked at. (6:6) Have they not seen how many a people We have destroyed before them? People whom We had made more powerful in the earth than you are and upon them We showered from the heavens abundant rains, and at whose feet We caused the rivers to flow? And then (when they behaved ungratefully) We destroyed them for their sins, and raised other peoples in their place. (6:7) (O Messenger!) Had We sent down to you a book incribed on parchment, and had they even touched it with their own hands, the unbelievers would still have said: 'This is nothing but plain magic.' (6:8) They also say: 'Why has no angel been sent down to this Prophet?' Had We sent down an angel, the matter would surely have long been decided and no respite would have been granted them. (6:9) Had We appointed an angel, We would have sent him down in the form of a man - and thus We would have caused them the same doubt which they now entertain. (6:10) And indeed before your time (O Muhammad!) many a Messenger has been scoffed at; but those who mocked at them were encompassed by the Truth they had scoffed at. (6:11) Say: 'Go about journeying the earth, and behold the end of those who gave the lie (to the Truth).' (6:12) Ask thern: 'To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth?' Say: 'Everything belongs to Allah.' He has bound Himself to the exercise of mercy (and thus does not chastise you for your disobedience and excesses instantly). Surely He will gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection - the coming of which is beyond doubt; but those who have courted their own ruin are not going to believe. (6:13) And to Him belongs all that dwells in the night and the day. He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (6:14) Say: 'Shall I take for my guardian anyone other than Allah - the Originator of the heavens and earth; He Who feeds and Himself is not fed?' Say: 'Surely I have been commanded to be the first among those who submit (to Allah) and not to be one of those who associate others with Allah in His divinity (even though others may do so).' (6:15) Say: 'Surely do I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of an awesome Day. (6:16) Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph. (6:17) Should Allah touch you with affliction, there is none to remove it but He; and should He touch you with good, He has the power to do everything. (6:18) He has the supreme hold over His servants. He is All-Wise, All-Aware. (6:19) Ask them: 'Whose testimony is the greatest?' Say: 'Allah is the witness between me and you; and this Qur'an was revealed to me that I should warn you thereby and also whomsoever it may reach.' Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah? Say: 'I shall never testify such a thing.' Say: 'He is the One God and I am altogether averse to all that you associate with Him in His divinity.' (6:20) Those whom We have given the Book will recognize this just as they recognize their own ofspring; but those who have courted their own ruin will not believe.....

(12:1) Alif. Lam. Ra'. These are the verses of a Book that clearly expounds the truth. (12:2) We have revealed it as a Recitation in Arabic that you may fully understand. (12:3) (O Muhammad), by revealing the Qur'an to you We narrate to you in the best manner the stories of the past although before this narration you were utterly unaware of them. (12:4) Call to mind when Joseph said to his father: "My father! I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrating themselves before me." (12:5) His father said: "My son! Do not relate your dream to your brothers lest they hatch a plot to harm you. Indeed Satan is man's open enemy. (12:6) (As you have seen in the dream), so will your Lord choose you (for His task) and will impart to you the comprehension of the deeper meaning of things and will bestow the full measure of His favour upon you and upon the house of Jacob even as He earlier bestowed it in full measure upon your forefathers, Abraham and Isaac. Surely your Lord is All- Knowing, All-Wise." (12:7) Verily in the story of Joseph and his brothers there are many signs for those who inquire (about the truth). (12:8) And call to mind when the brothers of Joseph conferred together and said: "Surely Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a group of so many. Our father is clearly mistaken. (12:9) So either kill Joseph or cast him into some distant land so that your father's attention may become exclusively yours. And after so doing become righteous." (12:10) Thereupon one of them said: "Do not kill Joseph, but if you are bent upon doing something, cast him down to the bottom of some dark pit, perhaps some caravan passing by will take him out of it." (12:11) After so deciding they said to their father: "Why is it that you do not trust us regarding Joseph although we are his true well-wishers?" (12:12) Send him out with us tomorrow that he may enjoy himself and play while we will be there, standing guard over him." (12:13) Their father answered: "It grieves me indeed that you should take him with you for I fear that some wolf might eat him up while you are negligent of him." (12:14) They said: "Should a wolf eat him, despite the presence of our strong group, we would indeed be a worthless lot!" (12:15) So when they went away with Joseph and decided to cast him in the bottom of the dark pit, We revealed to Joseph: "Surely a time will come when you will remind them of their deed. They know nothing about the consequence of what they are doing." (12:16) At nightfall they came to their father weeping (12:17) and said: "Father! We went racing with one another and left Joseph behind with our things, and then a wolf came and ate him up. We know that you will not believe us howsoever truthful we might be." (12:18) And they brought Joseph's shirt, stained with false blood. Seeing this their father exclaimed: "Nay (this is not true); rather your evil souls have made it easy for you to commit a heinous act. So I will bear this patiently, and in good grace. It is Allah's help alone that I seek against your fabrication." (12:19) And a caravan came, and they sent their water drawer to draw water. As he let down his bucket in the well he (observed Joseph) and cried out: "This is good news. There is a boy." They concealed him, considering him as part of their merchandise, while Allah was well aware of what they did. (12:20) Later they sold him for a paltry sum - just a few dirhams; they did not care to obtain a higher price....

(27:1) Ta'. Sin. These are the verses of the Qur'an and a Clear Book; (27:2) a guidance and good tidings for the believers (27:3) who establish Prayer and give Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. (27:4) As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds seem attractive to them so they stumble around in perplexity. (27:5) It is they for whom a grievous chastisement lies in store; it is they who shall be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. (27:6) As for you, (O Muhammad), you are receiving the Qur'an from the Most Wise, the All-Knowing. (27:7) (Recount to them) when Moses said to his family: "I perceive something like fire: soon will I bring to you some information from there, or I will bring you a burning brand that you may warm yourselves." (27:8) But when Moses came to the fire, a call was sounded: "Blessed is He Who is in the fire and whatever is around it. Glory be to Allah, the Sustainer of all in the Universe. (27:9) O Moses, verily this is Me, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise! (27:10) Now cast your rod!" But when he saw the rod writhing as though it were a serpent, he turned his back in retreat and did not even look behind. "O Moses, have no fear. Messengers have no fear in My presence, (27:11) except he who has committed some wrong. But if he substitutes good in place of evil, I am Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate. (27:12) Now put your hand into your bosom, and it will come forth shining without any blemish. (These are two of the) nine Signs to be carried to Pharaoh and his people. They are surely a wicked people." (27:13) But when Our Clear Signs came to them, they said: "This is plain magic." (27:14) They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! (27:15) (On the other hand), We granted knowledge to David and Solomon and they said: "All praise be to Allah Who has exalted us above many of His believing servants!" (27:16) And Solomon succeeded David and said: "O people, we have been taught the speech of birds and we have been endowed with all kinds of things. Surely this is a conspicuous favour (from Allah)." (27:17) Hosts of jinn and humans and birds were marshalled for Solomon and were kept under full control. (27:18) (Solomon was once on the move with them) until when they reached a valley of ants one of the ants said: "O ants, get into your holes, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under their feet) without even knowing." (27:19) Smiling at the ant's utterance, Solomon burst into laughter and said: "My Lord! Hold me under (Your) control that I may render thanks for the favour which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may act righteously in a manner that would please You. Include me, out of Your Mercy, among Your righteous servants." (27:20) (On another occasion) Solomon inspected the birds and said: "Why is it that I do not see the hoopoe? Is he among the absentees? (27:21) I will inflict a severe punishment on him or maybe even slaughter him unless he comes forth with a convincing reason (for his absence)." (27:22) Not before long the hoopoe came up and said: "I have obtained a knowledge which you could not. I have brought for you sure news about Sheba. (27:23) I found there a woman ruling over them, one who has been endowed with all things and has a mighty throne. (27:24) I found that she and her people prostrate themselves before the sun rather than Allah." Satan has made their deeds appear attractive to them and has, thus, debarred them from the Right Path so they do not find true guidance (27:25) that they would prostrate themselves before Allah Who brings to light all that is hidden in the heavens and the earth and knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. (27:26) Allah - none is worthy of worship save He; He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne. ..

(15:1) Alif. Lam. Ra'. These are the verses of the Book, and a Clear Qur'an. (15:2) Soon will the time come when the unbelievers will wish they were Muslims. (15:3) Leave them to eat and enjoy life and let false hopes amuse them. They will soon come to know. (15:4) Whenever We destroyed a town, a definite term had previously been decreed for it. (15:5) No people can outstrip the term for its destruction nor can it delay it. (15:6) They say: "O you to whom the Admonition has been revealed, you are surely crazed. (15:7) Why do you not bring down angels upon us if you are indeed truthful?" (15:8) We do not send down the angels (in frivolity); and when We do send them down, We do so with Truth; then people are granted no respite. (15:9) As for the Admonition, indeed it is We Who have revealed it and it is indeed We Who are its guardians. (15:10) (O Muhammad), certainly We did send Messengers before you among the nations which have gone by. (15:11) And whenever a Messenger came to them, they never failed to mock him. (15:12) Even so We make a way for it (that is, the Admonition) in the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod); (15:13) they do not believe in it. This has been the wont of people of this kind from ancient times. (15:14) If We were even to open for them a way to the heavens, and they could continually climb up to it in broad daylight, (15:15) they would still have said: "Surely our eyes have been dazzled; rather, we have been enchanted." (15:16) We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, (15:17) and have protected them against every accursed satan (15:18) save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. (15:19) As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. (15:20) And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. (15:21) There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. (15:22) We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. (15:23) It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. (15:24) Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. (15:25) Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. (15:26) Surely We brought man into being out of dry ringing clay which was wrought from black mud, (15:27) while We had brought the jinn into being before out of blazing fire. (15:28) Recall when your Lord said to the angels: "I will indeed bring into being a human being out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud. (15:29) When I have completed shaping him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall you down before him in prostration." (15:30) So, the angels - all of them - fell down in prostration, (15:31) except Iblis; he refused to join those who prostrated. (15:32) The Lord inquired: "Iblis! What is the matter with you that you did not join those who prostrated?" (15:33) He said: "It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud." (15:34) The Lord said: "Then get out of here; you are rejected, (15:35) and there shall be a curse upon you till the Day of Recompense." (15:36) Iblis said: "My Lord! (18:1) Praise be to Allah Who has revealed to His servant the Book devoid of all crookedness; (18:2) an unerringly Straight Book, meant to warn of a stern punishment from Allah, and to proclaim, to those who believe and work righteous deeds, the tiding that theirs shall be a good reward (18:3) wherein they shall abide for ever; (18:4) and also to warn those who say: "Allah has taken to Himself a son," (18:5) a thing about which they have no knowledge, neither they nor their ancestors. Dreadful is the word that comes out of their mouths. What they utter is merely a lie. (18:6) (O Muhammad), if they do not believe in this Message, you will perhaps torment yourself to death with grief, sorrowing over them. (18:7) Surely We have made all that is on the earth an embellishment for it in order to test people as to who of them is better in conduct. (18:8) In the ultimate, We shall reduce all that is on the earth to a barren plain. (18:9) Do you think that the people of the Cave and the Inscription were one of Our wondrous signs? They were a party of young men who had faith in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance (18:14) and strengthened their hearts when they stood up and proclaimed: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We shall call upon no other god beside Him; (for if we did so), we shall be uttering a blasphemy." (18:15) (Then they conferred among themselves and said): "These men, our own people, have taken others as gods beside Him: why do they not bring any clear evidence that they indeed are gods? Who can be more unjust than he who foists a lie on Allah? (18:16) And now that you have dissociated yourselves from them and from whatever they worship beside Allah, go and seek refuge in the Cave. Your Lord will extend His mercy to you and will provide for you the means for the disposal of your affairs." (18:17) Had you seen them in the Cave it would have appeared to you that when the sun rose, it moved away from their Cave to the right; and when it set, it turned away from them to the left, while they remained in a spacious hollow in the Cave. This is one of the Signs of Allah. Whomsoever Allah guides, he alone is led aright; and whomsoever Allah lets go astray, you will find for him no guardian to direct him. (18:18) On seeing them you would fancy them to be awake though they were asleep; and We caused them to turn their sides to their right and to their left, and their dog sat stretching out its forelegs on the threshold of the Cave. Had you looked upon them you would have certainly fled away from them, their sight filling you with terror. (18:19) Likewise, We roused them in a miraculous way that they might question one another. One of them asked: "How long did you remain (in this state)?" The others said: "We remained so for a day or part of a day." Then they said: "Your Lord knows better how long we remained in this state. Now send one of you to the city with this coin of yours and let him see who has the best food, and let him buy some provisions from there. Let him be cautious and not inform anyone of our whereabouts. (18:20) For if they should come upon us, they will stone us to death or force us to revert to their faith whereafter we shall never prosper."....

(19:1) Kaf. Ha'. Ya'. Ayn. Sad. (19:2) This is an account of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah (19:3) when he cried to his Lord in secret. (19:4) He said: "Lord! My bones have grown feeble and my head is glistening with age; yet, never have my prayers to You, my Lord, been unfruitful. (19:5) I fear evil from my kinsmen after I am gone; and my wife is barren, so grant me an heir out of Your special grace, (19:6) one that might be my heir and the heir of the house of Jacob; and make him, Lord, one that will be pleasing to You. (19:7) (He was told): "Zechariah, We bring you the good news of the birth of a son whose name shall be Yahya (John), one whose namesake We never created before." (19:8) He said: "My Lord! How can I have a boy when my wife is barren and I have reached an extremely old age?" (19:9) He answered: "So shall it be." Your Lord says: "It is easy for Me," and then added: "For beyond doubt, I created you earlier when you were nothing." (19:10) Zechariah said: "Lord, grant me a Sign." Said He: "Your Sign is that you shall not be able to speak to people for three nights, though you will be otherwise sound." (19:11) Thereupon Zechariah came out from the sanctuary and directed his people by gestures to extol His glory by day and by night. (19:12) "O John! Hold the Book with all your strength." We had bestowed wisdom upon him while he was still a child; (19:13) and We also endowed him with tenderness and purity, and he was exceedingly pious (19:14) and cherishing to his parents. Never was he insolent or rebellious. (19:15) Peace be upon him the day he was born, and the day he will die, and the day he will be raised up alive. (19:16) (O Muhammad), recite in the Book the account of Mary, when she withdrew from her people to a place towards the east; (19:17) and drew a curtain, screening herself from people whereupon We sent to her Our spirit and he appeared to her as a well-shaped man. (19:18) Mary exclaimed: "I surely take refuge from you with the Most Compassionate Lord, if you are at all God-fearing." (19:19) He said: "I am just a message-bearer of your Lord, I have come to grant you a most pure boy." (19:20) Mary said: "How can a boy be born to me when no man has even touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?" (19:21) The angel said: "Thus shall it be. Your Lord says: 'It is easy for Me; and We shall do so in order to make him a Sign for mankind and a mercy from Us. This has been decreed.' " (19:22) Then she conceived him and withdrew with him to a far-off place. (19:23) Then the birth pangs drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree and she said: "Oh, would that I had died before this and had been all forgotten." (19:24) Thereupon the angel below her cried out: "Grieve not, for your Lord has caused a stream of water to flow beneath you. (19:25) Shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards yourself and fresh and ripe dates shall fall upon you. (19:26) So eat and drink and cool your eyes; and if you see any person say to him: 'Verily I have vowed a fast to the Most Compassionate Lord, and so I shall not speak to anyone today.'...

(21:1) The time of people's reckoning has drawn near, and yet they turn aside in heedlessness. (21:2) Whenever any fresh admonition comes to them from their Lord they barely heed it and remain immersed in play, (21:3) their hearts being set on other concerns. The wrong-doers whisper to one another: "This person is no more than a mortal like yourselves. Will you, then, be enchanted by sorcery while you see?" (21:4) He said: "My Lord knows well all that is spoken in the heavens and the earth. He is All-Hearing, All- Knowing." (21:5) They say: "Nay, these are confused dreams; nay, he has forged it; nay, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign, even as the Messengers of the past were sent with signs." (21:6) Not one township that We destroyed before them believed. Would they, then, believe? (21:7) (O Muhammad), even before you We never sent any other than human beings as Messengers, and to them We sent revelation. Ask the People of the Book if you do not know. (21:8) We did not endow the Messengers with bodies that would need no food; nor were they immortals. (21:9) Then We fulfilled the promise We had made to them: We rescued them and those whom We wished, and We destroyed those who exceeded all bounds. (21:10) We have bestowed upon you a Book that mentions you. Do you not understand? (21:11) How many a wrong-doing town did We shatter and then raise up another people. (21:12) Then, when they perceived Our chastisement they took to their heels and fled. (21:13) (They were told): "Flee not, but return to your comforts and to your dwellings. You are likely to be questioned." (21:14) They said: "Woe to us; surely we were wrong-doers." (21:15) They did not cease to cry this until We reduced them to stubble, still and silent. (21:16) We did not create in sport the heavens and the earth and all that lies between the two. (21:17) Had it been Our will to find a pastime, We would have found one near at hand; if at all We were inclined to do so. (21:18) Nay, We hurl the Truth at falsehood so that the Truth crushes falsehood, and lo! it vanishes. Woe to you for what you utter! (21:19) To Him belongs whosoever dwells in the heavens and on earth. Those (angels) that are with Him neither disdain to serve Him out of pride, nor do they weary of it. (21:20) They glorify Him night and day, without flagging. (21:21) Have they taken earthly gods who are such that they raise up the dead to life? (21:22) Had there been any gods in the heavens and the earth apart from Allah, the order of both the heavens and the earth would have gone to ruins. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Throne, Who is far above their false descriptions of Him. (21:23) None shall question Him about what He does, but they shall be questioned. (21:24) Have they taken gods other than Him? Say, (O Muhammad): "Bring forth your proof! Here is the Book with admonition for those of my time and there are also scriptures with admonition for people before me." But most people do not know the Truth, and have, therefore, turned away from it. (21:25) Never did We send any Messenger before you to whom We did not reveal: "There is no god but Me. So serve Me alone." (21:26) They say: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken to Himself a son." Glory be to Him! Those whom they so designate are only His honoured servants. (21:27) They do not outstrip Him in speech and only act as He commands. (21:28) He knows whatever is before them and whatsoever is remote from them and they do not intercede except for him, intercession on whose behalf pleases Him, and they stand constantly in awe of Him. (21:29) And if anyone of them were to claim: "Indeed I am a god apart from Him," We shall recompense both with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrong-doers....

(25:1) Most blessed is He Who sent down this Criterion on His servant, to be a warner to all mankind; (25:2) He to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; Who has taken to Himself no son nor has He taken any partner in His kingdom; Who created everything and then determined its destiny. (25:3) Yet people have taken, instead of Him, other deities; those that create nothing but are themselves created; who do not have the power to hurt or benefit even themselves; who have no power over death, nor over life, nor over the resurrection of the dead. (25:4) Those who disbelieve in the Message of the Prophet say: "This (Criterion) is nothing but a lie which he has forged with the help of others." Such have indeed resorted to a grievous wrong and sheer falsehood. (25:5) They say: "These are merely fairy tales of the ancients which he has got inscribed and they are then recited to him morning and evening." (25:6) Say to them (O Muhammad): "It is He Who knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth Who has sent down this Book. Indeed, He is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate." (25:7) They say: "What sort of a Messenger is this: he eats food and walks about in the markets? Why was an angel not sent down to him so that he may remain with the Messenger and warn those that do not believe in him? (25:8) Why was a treasure not bestowed upon him, or a garden whereof he might obtain his sustenance?" The evil-doers say: "You are simply following a bewitched man." (25:9) See what specious arguments they put forth before you: they are so strayed that they will not find their way to anything sound.(25:10) Most blessed is He Who, if He wills, can grant you even better than what they propose: Gardens beneath which rivers flow, and stately mansions. (25:11) Nay, the truth is that it is the Hour to which they give the lie.; We have kept a Blazing Fire ready for him who denies the Hour. (25:12) When it sees them from a place afar, they will hear its raging and roaring, (25:13) and when they are flung, chained together, into a narrow place in it, they will fervently call there for annihilation. (25:14) (They will then be told): "Do not call for a single annihilation, but for many an annihilation." (25:15) Ask them: "Is this state better or the Garden of Eternity which the God-fearing have been promised?" It shall be their recompense and the end-point of their journey; (25:16) the Garden wherein whatever they desire will be fulfilled. In it they shall abide for ever. This is a promise whose fulfilment Your Lord has made incumbent on Himself. (25:17) On the Day when He will muster together all the unbelievers as well as the deities that they worship beside Allah, and He will ask them: "Was it you who caused these servants of Mine to stray away, or did they themselves stray away from the Right Path?" (25:18) They will say: "Glory be to You! It did not behove us to take any other than You as our guardians, but You lavished the pleasures of life upon them and their forefathers until they forgot the Admonition and became doomed to destruction." (25:19) Thus will those deities give the lie to all what you now say, and you will not be able to avert your doom, nor obtain any succour. We shall cause whoever of you commits wrong to taste an enormous chastisement. (25:20) (O Muhammad), We never sent any Messengers before you but they ate food and walked about in the markets. We made some of you a means to test each by the other to see whether you remain patient. Your Lord is All-Seeing….

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH lived in the middle of the desert with no libraries because the Arabic Peninsula was a backward, antiquated nation at the time. He was unlettered and grew up among illiterate idol worshippers devoid of knowledge of the Scriptures. He had no way of reading or conjuring these stories shared in the Holy Quan.   "That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. How would one know their role and life purpose unless one received clear and practical instructions as to what God wants and expects of them? Thus comes the need for Prophethood. God has sent thousands of Messengers and Prophets to humanity to convey His Message and communicate to us. Every nation on Earth has received a Prophet. They all preached the same general message that there is only one deity worthy of worship, and we should follow His commandments. He is the One and Only God, without a partner, son, daughter, or equal. God sent Messengers and Prophets to guide humanity away from worshipping created beings and toward worshipping Him, the Creator of all things. Prophets came to teach their people who their Creator is, how to build a relationship with Him, and how to love Him. These Prophets taught their people that life is only a test; the successful will enter Paradise eternally, while the unsuccessful will undergo the ultimate punishment in the Hereafter.  God sent Messengers with Revelation to humanity to guide them, starting with the Prophet Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad PBUT. Due to God's Love and Mercy, He began to guide humanity as soon as He created Adam and Eve PBUH. He instructed them to worship Him alone, the one and only God, and not worship His creation. He ordered them to submit fully to Him. Later, this message was given to the rest of the Messengers and Prophets of God to deliver to their people. The practice of fully submitting to God, which the Prophets taught, is Islam. Islam, by definition, means the act of submitting to God. A Muslim, by definition, is "someone who submits himself to God." Anyone who submits to God is called a Muslim. "He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein..." (Quran 42:13) Many of the Prophets are found in the Jewish and Christian traditions. Whenever God sent Messengers with Revelation, people distorted and changed the Revelation of God after they passed. What was once pure Revelation from God was polluted with the words of historians, scholars, random people, superstitions, irrational philosophical ideologies, and idol worship and included many malicious inserts and deletions throughout time, done for the person's own agenda and political and financial gain.  Whenever people distorted the Message of God and His Revelation, God sent another Messenger or Prophet to reform or renew His Message out of His infinite Mercy. Jesus Christ was sent to reform the previous message sent by the Prophet before him, Prophet Moses PBUH, as Prophet Moses' Message was distorted after his departure. Jesus Christ is quoted in the Bible as saying, Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17).  Just like how Jesus Christ was sent to reform the message of the Prophet before him, Prophet Muhammad PBUH came to reform Prophet Jesus' Message because it had been too distorted by people after his departure and did not survive in its original form. Because God will not be sending any more Revelations and Messengers to humanity, Prophet Muhammad PBUH and God's final Revelation, the Holy Quran, is meant for all humanity until the last day.  All previous Messengers and Books other than the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad PBUH were sent to only a specific group of people and were meant to be followed for a particular period; they had expiration dates. For example, Prophet Jesus PBUH was one of God's mightiest Messengers, sent down with the same general Message of all previous Prophets but only to the Children of Israel—the nati

Anas ibn Maalik narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "I start to pray intending to make it long, then I hear the crying of a child, so I make it short because of his mother's distress." [al-Bukhaari (677) and Muslim (470)]. Paul Tough commented in his book: "Babies whose parents responded readily and fully to their cries in the first months of life were, at one year, more independent and intrepid than babies whose parents had ignored their cries. The Prophet (PBUH) is the ideal perfect representation of how a Muslim is expected to be; everything he did or said is an example and lesson that is not only applicable during his time but cuts across generations after his time till the end of time. Therefore, he is often described as "a walking Qur'an", embodying the Laws of Almighty Allah (SAW). "...And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." (Quran: 21:106-107).

He said, "You have spoken truly." Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you." He said, "Inform me about the Hour." He (the Messenger of Allah) said, "About that, the one questioned knows no more than the questioner." So he said, "Well, inform me about the signs thereof." He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress, that you will see the barefooted, naked, destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went of. I waited a while, and then he (the Messenger of Allah) said, "O Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said, "That was Jibril (the Angel Gabriel). He came to teach you your religion." [Muslim]

Here in the speech Dr shahib explain about very popular hadith. His focus in first 2 part his focus is about Islam and Emaan and it differences. Here is the hadith from the book It was narrated on the authority of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. No traces of journeying were visible on him, and none of us knew him. He sat down close by the Prophet (peace be upon him), rested his knee against his thighs, and said, "O Muhammad! Inform me about Islam." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah, pay the Zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House, if you are able to do so." The man said, "You have spoken truly." We were astonished at his questioning him (the Messenger) and telling him that he was right, but he went on to say, "Inform me about iman." He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in qadar (fate), both in its good and in its evil aspects." He said, "You have spoken truly." Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you." He said, "Inform me about the Hour." Shaykh Ali Salman, the Imam of Masjid Tawheed of Detroit. Passed away on the night of Thursday the 10th of December in the year of 2020, which is Islamicaly considered Friday morning. He was born on the 15th of June the year of 1944 in the city of Bethlehem, Palestine. He has been in America as an Imam in the end of 1989 until it was time for him to go, in the way Allah predestined. He was well known in every community he was in Alhamdulillah and well respected. He had a lot of impact on a lot of people positively alhamdulillah. We ask Allah to forgive his sins and put him in the highest of ranks and places in Al-jannah (paradise). In Deed, The best of speech is the speech of Allah the Almighty And the best of Guidance is the Guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) the worst of affairs are newly invented matters. Every newly invented matter is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire May Allah Save me and You And All the Muslims from HellFire Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your Wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing) Allah The Most High Said: You Will Die and they will die as well “Gabriel came to me and said, ‘O Muhammad, Live as you wish, for you shall eventually die. Love whom you desire, for you shall eventually depart. Do what you please, for you shall pay. Know that the night-prayer is the honor of a believer, and his pride is being independent on others.'” Death is reality, Undeniable By Muslims Nor Kafirs But the Lesson is How do I Die And what to Die Upon And what is my methodology when I Die So We all have to know that Death comes Suddenly Death comes without an appointment With no arrangement Death doesn't have a specific situation or case Everyone Dies The Young and the Old and one in the middle Male and Female The Healthy may Die And the Sick maybe Delayed This is exactly why we All need to be ready for Death At Anytime By Fulfilling all the Obligations Staying away from all Forbidden things Doing all the good and The Beloved Actions Obeying Allah The Almighty As Much as Possible And if you make it until the night, dont wait for the morning..Just like the Prophet (Salla Allah Alayhe Wa salaam) Told Ibn Umar: 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. You will Travel real soon Death and What do You Know Of Death Death and the Agony of Death We have to contemplate upon the Grave and its Squeeze Horror Munkar and Nakeer The 2 great Angels Who come to all those who die To ask them Q#1 How was you relationship with Allah Q#2 His/Her Dean (religion) Q# What do you say about the man that was sent to you (Which is Muhammad Salla Allah Alayhe Wa Sallam) So whoever was a servant of Allah A follower of the Methodology of The Prophet(Salla Allah Alayhe Wa Sallam) And acting upon it. Then he/she will answer (correctly) Allah is my Lord, Islam is my religion And Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His messenger He delivered the message He was entrusted with How did you know that? I followed the legislation of the Mohammad Salla Allah Alyhe Wasalam I read the book of Allah the Almighty The say that they knew he will answer correctly As for the other type of person He would say "HA HA, I dont know" Because he never knew in this Dunia He wasn't a servant of Allah In fact he was a servant of the desires A servant of his Dunia Thats why by Brothers: This is an Advice for the Sake of Allah the Exalted Make your worries/concerns for the Day of Judgement Busy yourself for the day of Judgment The day of judgment is the appointed Date Those who think that death is the end, Are indeed on the wrong path And upon the wrong --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-revert/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-revert/support

“So high (above all) iis Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, (O Muhammad) do not hasten with (recitation) of the Quran before its revelation is completed to you, and say, ‘My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” (QS. Taha : 114)From the above verse, Muslims need to increase their knowledge, and science and technology are part of knowledge. Thus, social media should be embraced by all Muslims as a product of knowledge, utilize it as best, and use it wisely.
