There are a myriad of criticisms against Islam propagated by non-Muslims in today's age. One of these criticisms accuses the Prophet ﷺ of marrying a child because of the ḥadīth mentioned in Bukhārī and Muslim. This paper focuses on two questions. First, are the claims that she was actually in her teens when she married accurate and are they strong enough to make us discard ʿĀʾisha's ḥadīth? Second, why did this become an issue in modern times when it was not an issue at the time the marriage took place?Note: The audio files are generated using AI technology.  In the Western society, the wife is the mighty one.I proved that in my previous blog: Marriage, - men in slavery.  For instance, the wives in the USA are making 86% of every purchase decision in the wedding. And if a husband like to undergo sterilization, he needs the approval of his wife. This means the wife can decide how many kids she wants. If the wife is making adultery, the husband can only divorce. Still, he has to pay for the kids and her. The judge doesn't care who has cheated, done adultery; the judge makes only sure that the man is paying! In any case, the man married or unmarried has to pay for the kids he has procreated and the kids going to the woman. In the Muslim marriage, the husband is responsible for his wives (4 women are possible) and has to give the supply to her. The wife can only have one husband. The females are forbidden in the Mosque, and they must be veiled in public. The divorce is possible for both. After the divorce, the kids are going to the husband. When the husband or wife have made adultery (Zina), both can forgive each other or can divorce.  After the Quran, the wife/husband needs 4 male witnesses who have seen the penetration to prove the adultery or the person confess 4 times the adultery! Is it possible to do adultery without 4 male witnesses have seen it or to confess? After Maliki legal school: the single woman pregnancy is proof of adultery. This can mean, if an unmarried woman got raped and can't prove that she got raped, then she has done adultery! Possible punishment for adultery (Zina) is stoning. Read the last 3 paragraphs.  What is about prostitution? The husband marries the prostitution, penetrate her and afterward divorces her. This is the standard practice in Saudi Arabia. The Quran allows it to get married 3 times with the same spouse. The Muslim husband is the mighty one. Because if the wife is not good enough for him, he can divorce and his wife is also losing her kids and doesn't get any support. Or he can take up to 3 more women if he has enough money. For instance, The Sultan of Turkey had 5000 wives, and many Sheiks have 10 or more wives! After the hadith for Zina: The proof for this is that the Prophet did not seek out the married woman whom Mâ`iz committed fornication with. He did not inquire after her husband and command him to divorce her. All he said was: “O Unays, go to that man's wife, and if she confesses, then have her stoned.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (6633) and Sahîh Muslim (1698)]Adultery has no legal effect in such matters because what is unlawful in Islam is regarded as nonexistent for such purposes. The evidence for this is that the Prophet said: “The child belongs to the (marriage) bed, and the adulterer is stoned.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (2053) and Sahîh Muslim (1457)]Stoning for adultery is not mentioned in the Quran. My Video: What is the difference between Christian and Muslim marriage?  https://youtu.be/_s1pPbujH9QMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/What-is-the-difference-between-Christian-and-Muslim-marriage.mp3

This is a lecture from Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble on how to perform Self Ruqyah. This is a simple guide that highlights some important aspects that are related to Ruqyah. Ā'ishah (radiyallāhu ‘anhā) said: “Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to bed each night, he used to cup his hands together, then blow into them then recite into them Surah Al-Ikhlās, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nās, and then wipe his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to wipe, starting with his head, face and the front of his body. He used to do that three times.” Bukhāri, 5017.

None of the ancestors (fathers and mothers) of our Prophet ‘sall Allâhu 'alaihi wa sallam', or of any other Prophet, was a disbeliever or a lowly person. ‘'alaihimussalâm'. The following are the âyat-i-kerîmas and hadîth-i-sherîfs proving our statement true: 1 – In a hadîh-i-sherîf in Bukhârî-i sherîf, the most valuable and the most correct book after the Qur'ân al-kerîm, our Prophet states: “I was born from the distinguished, the best ones of people living in every century, in every era.” 2 – In a hadîth in the book of Imâm-i Muslim, which has, of the thousands of hadîth books, won second place, Rasûlullah states: “Of the descendants of Hadrat Ismâil ‘'alaihis-salâm', Allâhu ta'âlâ selected a person named Quraish. And of the descendants of Quraish, He selected the Hâshim Family. And among them He placed me.” 3 – In a hadîth quoted by Tirmuzî, he states: “Allâhu ta'âlâ created people. He made me from the best group of people. Then He created the best of these groups in Arabia. He made me from them. Then, choosing the best of homes, the best of families, He created me from them. Then, my soul and body are the best of [1] Great scholars and men of Tasavvuf; that is, the Awliyâ.creatures. My ancestors are the best people.” 4 – In a hadîth in a book by Tabarânî, one of the most valuable hadîth savants, the blessed Prophet states: “Allâhu ta'âlâ created everything out of nothing. Of all things, He liked human beings and made them valuable. Of mankind He made those whom He selected settle in Arabia. And of the distinguished in Arabia, He chose me. He placed me among the distinguished, the best of the people in every age. Then, those who love the ones in Arabia who are obedient to me, love them for my sake. Those who feel hostility towards them feel hostility towards me.” This hadîth-i sherîf is written also at the initial part of Mawâhib-i Ladunniyya. 5 – As is informed in Mawâhib-i-Ladunniyya and in the explanation of Zerqânî ‘rahmatullâhi ta'âlâ 'alaih', it is stated in a hadîth-i-sherîf quoted by 'Abdullah bin 'Abbâs ‘radiy-Allâhu 'anhumâ': “None of my grandfathers committed fornication. Allâhu ta'âlâ made me from beautiful and good fathers and pure mothers. If one of my grandfathers had had two sons. I would be in the more useful, the better one of these two.” Endless Bliss First Fasicle | Page 253-254

Season 4 of Sacred Text Messages continues with an episode that warns of the Devil's favorite discourse, ghībah (backbiting). Today, the online and social media platforms allow for this discourse to spread like never before and are nearly impossible to erase from the virtual world. God commands us in sura al-Ḥujurāt to avoid mockery, one of the worst forms of backbiting, and He likens ghībah to eating the dead flesh of your brother. Shaykh Hamza expounds on these verses and reminds us that our journey toward virtuous character starts with restraining our tongue. One of our greatest hadith scholars, Imam al-Bukhārī, known for his truthfulness and upright character, would often recite these lines of poetic advice: "Have a vast character with people, and don't be like a dog that growls at the people." Tune in and learn to be aware of that inner "growling dog." About the Sacred Text Messages podcast: In this age of material excess and spiritual privation, grounding ourselves in divine guidance has never been more critical. Considered by Sunni Muslims as the second most authentic book after the Quran, Muḥammad ibn Ismā‘īl al-Bukhārī's collection of the Prophet's sayings and traditions, or ḥadīth, holds an esteemed station in Sunni scholasticism. To discuss with me the life, works and legacy of al-Bukhari is Dr. Jonathan Brown. Dr. Brown is the Alwaleed bin Talal Chair of Islamic Civilization in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Traits of Hypocrisy Part 5 Delivered by Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq on Friday 17th January 2020 at Al Kawthar Academy, Leicester Video: https://youtu.be/XMM0jm2MZE4 This seven-part series details the different types of hypocrites and their various traits. The dangers of adopting these traits is emphasised so that the believers identify and avoid them. The fifth part of this series covers verses 204 - 206 of Sūrat al-Baqarah. A reason for people being argumentative is identified to be from our own inner insecurities. These insecurities can have an effect on those around us including our close relatives. The psychological process in the head of a person who is corrected when wrong is explained; how he may interpret even a minor imperfection pointed out to mean that he is worthless, and therefore puts on a mask of arrogance as a defence and becomes angry. As a contrast, the reaction of an emotionally stable person when corrected is mentioned; how such a person, through his balanced view of himself, takes criticism on board rather than being argumentative. Examples of people receptive to corrections are given like the example of Umar r.a. The fact that perfection is infeasible in the dunyā is emphasized and illustrated by imperfections in great personalities such as Imām Bukhārī and Einstein. The example of imperfections in the dunyā is also shown how the Prophet ﷺ underwent physical difficulties and at times was corrected by Allāh for his actions. We are then recommended to have a balanced view of ourselves and take time out for self-reflection to improve the way we react to other people's corrections. Below are some of the timecodes and topics for this talk: - The Argumentative Nature of Man - A Believer is the Mirror of Another Believer - The Meaning of 'Fasād' - Balanced Thinking of a Believer - Humans Not Being Perfect in Mind or Body - The Prophet ﷺ Being Corrected by Allāh - The Worried Well - The Mentality of a Believer for Self-improvement ********************************************************************** Website: www.akacademy.org YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/alkawtharacademy Facebook: www.facebook.com/alkawtharacademy Twitter: www.twitter.com/alkawthar Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/alkawtharacademy **********************************************************************

Semoga bermanfaat. Barakallahu fiikum.

In this episode Kenneth Goudie is joined by Dr Mustafa Banister to talk about the historian he is studying, Ibn ʿArabshah (d. 1450). Ibn ʿArabshah was variously a litterateur, religious scholar, chancery scribe, and historian. Although he donned these many caps later in life, the young Ibn ‘Arabshāh would never be the same again after his hometown of Damascus was sacked and he was taken prisoner by Tamerlane in 1400. He devoted the next twenty-two years of his life to learning Islamic sciences and seeking out masters in the courts and capitals of pre-modern Muslim West Asia, before returning in 1422 to the lands under the control of the Cairo sultanate, ultimately settling in Damascus and trying to re-establish himself in existing social structures. He benefitted from a patronage relationship with the scholar ‘Alā’ al-Dīn al-Bukhārī who relocated to Damascus in 1429. After al-Bukhārī’s death in 1438, Ibn ‘Arabshāh focused on creating several works of literature and historiography that helped enhance his reputation. Frequent trips between Cairo and Damascus brought him into the orbit of other well-connected fifteenth century scholars among the civilian elite including Ibn Ḥajar, al-Maqrīzī, Ibn Taghrībirdī, and al-Sakhāwī. --- All music by Yadayn, from the track "Adem" https://yadayn.bandcamp.com/

There's a reason why public sins or making sins public is regarded as such an evil in the deen (Hadith below). Positive social pressure; Public Sins; steps to changing culture. What is positive social pressure and why is it important to embrace it to create a culture of strong morals and ethics? How this was prevalent in the past and how it at least partly explains the different “practising” levels of Muslim communities. This Episode focuses on the societal implications of sinning in public and the “Don't judge me” attitude. Why do some people care so much about this 3 letter word? I try to explain the ramifications of this utterance. As always, this message is for the deeper thinkers who want to delve beyond the surface level. This isn't “optimized” for views. If you benefit please make dua. إنشاءالله – Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Everyone from my nation will be forgiven except those who sin in public. Among them is a man who commits an evil deed in the night that Allah has hidden for him, then in the morning he says: O people, I have committed this sin! His Lord had hidden it during the night but in the morning he reveals what Allah has hidden.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5721, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2990 Obviously, in Islam, we remind each other and judge by what is apparent. However, that doesn't seem to resonate with the “Don't juj me” crowd. In this video, i try to tackle the fortress from within, i.e. by explaining how one “judges” when one accuses someone of “judging”.

Preservation of the Qurʾān by Memorisation - Delivered by Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq on 6th July 2012 at the Sri Lankan Muslim Cultural Centre (Middlesex, UK) For Muslims, the Qurʾān is not a written tradition as much as it is an oral tradition. It may not be the most published or bestselling book in the world yet it has a unique honour and distinction of being the most widely memorised and read book, not only today but throughout history. Miraculously, it has been preserved from heart to heart. Allāh has vowed to preserve its words, method of recitation, meaning and messages. Part of the preservation of the Qurʾān and undoubtedly, part of its miracle is the memorisation of the Qurʾān by millions of children throughout the world. Along with its memorisation, there are great blessings in learning its meanings and acting upon its teachings. In fact, one who endeavours to do this is not only preserving the Qurʾān and its meaning but he is also considered the best of people as the Prophet ﷺ said, ‘The best amongst you is one who learns the Qurʾān and teaches it’. Materialistic Greed & Rivalry A Tafsīr Of Sūrat ʾl Takāthur - Delivered by Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq on 24th May 2013 at Al Kawthar Academy (Leicester) Video: https://youtu.be/-m7NTTQObJg Shaytan’s insinuations and whispers of fear of poverty have driven man to relentlessly pursue the amassing and accumulation of wealth and glory. This has created a sense of selfishness and ingratitude in man resulting in aspirations for what others possess. One’s entire life becomes a life of greed and rivalry all with the intention of displaying ones worth and value and with the intent of becoming superior. The commentary of this sūrah condemns this attitude and calls for the realisation of the truth of existence. We are reminded not to be distracted by greed and rivalry in worldly material which will eventually destroy and envelop a person until death but rather appreciate the many favours we already possess. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ outlines the true definition of a rich person in the following ḥadīth: ‘Wealth is not the wealth of possession & material. Wealth is the wealth of the richness of the heart’. [Bukhārī] From this commentary, we also learn the many ways of becoming content and eliminating distress. We also learn the permissibly of competing with one another in matters of religion. ********************************************************************** Website: www.akacademy.org/ YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/alkawtharacademy Facebook: www.facebook.com/alkawtharacademy Twitter: www.twitter.com/alkawthar Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/alkawtharacademy Tunein: http://tunein.com/radio/Shaykh-Riyadh-ul-Haq-p615599/ **********************************************************************

Robert Kevin Jaques‘ work, Ibn Hajar: Makers of Islamic Civilization (I. B. Tauris, 2013), focuses on the life of one of the most eminent Muslim scholars, Ibn Ḥajar al-‘AsqalānÄ« (d. 852/1449). Jaques provides his readers with a concise yet intimate biography of this great scholar based on the accounts of his students, chiefly the al-Jawāhir of al-SakhāwÄ«, and works penned by Ibn Ḥajar himself. Beginning life as an orphan, Ibn Ḥajar rose to the most prominent academic position as the chief Shāfi‛ī judge of the Egyptian MamlÅ«k system. His accomplishment made all the more remarkable as he had to contest with countless political machinations and personal tragedies including the death of many of his children. While many of Ibn Ḥajar’s contemporary’s rose and fell due to their inability to successfully navigate the ever changing political landscape, Jaques ascribes Ibn Ḥajar’s longevity and lasting legacy to his enchanting personality, religious devotion, and inimitable acumen; qualities often ignored or downplayed by social historians studying the political intrigues of MamlÅ«k society. Jaques discusses the significance of Ibn Ḥajar’s historical and biographical texts, such as the Inbā’ al-ghumr bi-anbā’ al-‘umr and al-Durar al-kāmina, but he devotes much time to Ibn Ḥajar’s massive commentary on al-BukhārÄ«’s Ṣāḥīḥ, Fatḥ al-bārÄ«. The study of ḥadÄ«th became Ibn Ḥajar’s way to combat personal losses and the constant threat of plague; phenomena which he believed were not occasions of Divine retribution for the transgressions of the community. Excellent in its composition and structure, Makers of Islamic Civilization: Ibn Ḥajar is a book which will benefit both the novice and expert in the study of Islam. Learn more about your ad choices.
