Un'ospite speciale nel primo pomeriggio di venerdì 26 maggio: con i nostri Degiornalist - Fabiana Paolini e Claudio Chiari - è venuto a trovarci nei nostri studi di Bergamo, l'attore, musicista e cantante Ronn Moss! Grande amante dell'Italia e in particolare della Puglia, Ronn ci ha parlato del suo nuovo album Surprise Love Trip, prodotto da Tiziano Cavaliere e Pino Di Pietro per Bros Group Italia. Il disco prende il titolo dal film Surprise Love Trip che poi è diventato un album: tutto è nato quando Ronn ha comprato una masseria in Puglia, terra che lo ha ispirato tantissimo e sulla storia di questa masseria è nato il soggetto del film, per cui ha scritto la colonna sonora. Non solo, perché durante le registrazioni, ha conosciuto Lino Banfi che gli ha insegnato anche un po' di dialetto pugliese! Ronn Moss è entrato talmente in sintonia con la Puglia e la sua masseria, che molto spesso suona la chitarra anche nei suoi vigneti in modo da poter trasferire le vibrazioni della musica all'uva: «La vita è fatta di vibrazioni, tutto è vibrazione, quindi quando trasmetti belle vibrazioni è come se trasmettessi cibo, nutrimento».

Linda Andersson is a writer/director/producer and a member of the Television Academy (EMMY'S ®).  Although she originally wrote “Nobody Parks in L.A.” as a live action sitcom pilot, Linda couldn't resist producing the project herself as an animated show. This week, Jacob sites down with actor/singer Ron Moss. Hailing from Hollywood CA, RoNN Moss grew up around the entertainment industry. He knew at 11 years old after watching the Beatles appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show that he wanted to play music and taught himself the guitar, bass guitar and began drum lessons in Hollywood. RoNN then formed his bands from his junior high friends and started playing in clubs around Los Angeles way before he was of legal age to be in those clubs. It was in the late 70s that he met Peter Beckett and JC Crowley and together with RoNN's high school friend John Friesen formed the band, “PLAYER.” The band was signed by famed Australian manager Robert Stigwood to his RSO records label and garnered and handful of top 40 hits including the #1 enduring smash hit, “Baby Come Back.” PLAYER began touring with Eric Clapton, Heart, Kenny Loggins, Boz Skaggs, Little River Band, Gino Vannelli, as well as headlining their own concerts. On the recommendation of Robert Stigwood, and because PLAYER was experiencing a slowdown within the record industry, RoNN decided to try his hand at acting and quickly landed his first film entitled, “Hearts and Armor” that filmed in Sicily and Rome,Italy. Following a progression of movies, TV shows and commercials, led RoNN to originate the iconic role of Ridge Forrester for the CBS Daytime drama, “The Bold And The Beautiful.” Over the next 25 years the show became a worldwide sensation spanning 130 countries, making RoNN an internationally recognized face and personality. RoNN has continued doing music over the years and has done two solo CDs, “I'm Your Man” and “UnCovered” along with four solo tours in Australia. His latest music release is a collection of songs called “My Baby's Back” and is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Reverbnation, and RonnMoss.com. He is also embarking on another Australian music tour in March 2019. Ronn and Devin are also supporters of The Thalians, which raises money and awareness for UCLA Operation Mend, helping our brave military men and women heal from the wounds of war, physically and mentally. Peter Beckett, the triple threat singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the rock band Player, which scored a U.S. #1 hit with “Baby Come Back” and fellow band member and former star of daytime television's soap THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL as Ridge Forrester, Ronn Moss join Halli at her table Wednesday, January 6, 3 pm ET on The Halli Casser-Jayne Show.Born in the Aigburth district of Liverpool, England, Beckett was greatly influenced by seeing the Beatles perform at the famous Cavern Club. At 16, he recorded his first record, “All Night Stand”, with a band called The Thoughts. He moved on to play with other groups before relocating to Los Angeles, ultimately teaming with JC Crowley, Ronn Moss (The Bold and the Beautiful's chisel-jawed Ridge Forrester), and John Friesen in 1976 to form Player. And that's just the beginning. He would go on to write for such notable artists as Janet Jackson, Olivia Newton-John, The Temptations and Kenny Rogers as well as for films and television during the 1980s. He joined up with Little River Band in 1989 and toured with them for over eight years.Ronn Moss was born and raised in Los Angeles. He grew up surrounded by the theatre, concert, and rock & roll music world. At age 11, he started learning to play the drums, guitar and electric bass. In 1976, he joined PLAYER primarily as bassist and singer. In 1987, Moss was offered the role of “Ridge Forrester” on the then new soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful.
