It has officially declared its policy not to release new models powered by internal combustion engines anymore. - The group carried out the largest-ever reorganization of its R&D headquarters on Dec. 17. The Namyang Research Institute has 12,000 R&D personnel and is a key organization that serves as the brain of Hyundai Motor Group. - The Engine Development Center was completely shut down and all powertrain-related centers were converted to electrification-related units. At the same time, the automaker decided to focus on securing battery technology by establishing the Battery Development Center. - Hyundai Motor has also torn down walls among R&D departments to shorten its electric vehicle development schedule as much as possible. This was quite unfortunate since Software Version 11.0 could be considered as one of the most extensive holiday releases that Tesla has released to date. - it appears that Tesla has now started to roll out V11 to some of its pre-refresh Model S and Model X. Images of the new software running the updated system were shared online. As mentioned by Tesla owner @HisandHersTesla on Twitter, even their 2017 Model S 100D received the update, though some features like the blindspot camera feature were not included. - Pre-refresh Model S and Model X that are equipped with MCU2 infotainment systems are capable of receiving more features from the V11 suite, including Subwoofer Tunability, the capacity to edit Waypoints, and access to TikTok, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sudoku, and the multiplayer option for The Battle for Polytopia. So Andy, what has changed with this new map card? - 2018 update of Map set – Garmin update every four years as ¼ of the country is released by OS as an updated version. - Turn by turn routing within National Parks, the true ‘hiking’ ‘activity’ or ‘routing’ option. - Isle of Man now added The famous, or infamous ‚ hiking option. The biggest mistake people make when setting up any GPS unit and now it gets a little more confusing. In the past on the 1:50k map we use the direct routing, how do we set up a GPS unit to utilise the feature when you are within National Parks. - Set activity/ Routing - Set up a new profile so you can easily swap as you go in or out of a National Parks We have a step by step video taking you through how to this on an Oregon 700/ 750 in our online resource – Go to – GPS Training.co.uk, login and then go to the Garmin Top Tips section And now we can let the cat out of the bag regarding the development of this map card. - We first received some pre-production cards late last year and we have been helping Garmin develop this product. - Before everybody says – why did you not say everything – we have signed a nion discosure agreement with Garmin as we do get shown things well before it is announced to the public and press. - I actually recorded a piece for the podcast between Christmas and New Year as at the time we all thought it was going to be released top market in January. - It’s been fascinating to work with them. Seit wenigen Stunden ist inzwischen Softwareversion 4.0 als kostenfreie Aktualisierung für alle Besitzer eines iPhone 3G(S) verfügbar. In diesen beiden Ausgaben möchte ich einen genauen Blick auf die Neuerung in diesem Update werfen.

Seit wenigen Stunden ist inzwischen Softwareversion 4.0 als kostenfreie Aktualisierung für alle Besitzer eines iPhone 3G(S) verfügbar. In diesen beiden Ausgaben möchte ich einen genauen Blick auf die Neuerung in diesem Update werfen.

Im Rahmen dieser In-vitro-Studie wurden die Systeme IPS Empress 2 (Fa. Ivoclar), Celay (Fa. Mikrona) und DCS Precident (Software-Version 3.43, Fa. DCS Dental AG) hinsichtlich der Passgenauigkeit einer dreigliedrigen Brücke mit der In-Ceram-Schlickertechnik (Fa. Vita Zahnfabrik) verglichen. Als Basis diente ein Frasaco-Kiefermodell, wobei der Zahn 46 entfernt wurde und die Zähne 45 bzw. 47 stufenförmig präpariert worden sind. Durch Dublierung dieser Situation entstanden letztendlich 40 Patienten-Segmente aus einer CoCrMoW-Legierung. Innerhalb einer jeden der 4 Gruppen wurden 10 Brücken gefertigt, die anschließend konventionell auf den Patienten-Segmenten zementiert wurden. Mit Ausnahme des Systems DCS Precident, wobei ein gewerbliches Labor mit der Herstellung der Brücken beauftragt war, sind alle Gerüste in eigener Fertigung hergestellt und verblendet worden. Die Messanordnung wurde an die Trenn-Dünnschlifftechnik nach DONATH und BREUNER angelehnt, wobei dieses Verfahren geringfügig modifiziert wurde. Dabei sind die Brücken in vestibulo-oraler Richtung 20 mal um ca. 200 μm reduziert worden und anschließend unter dem Auflichtmikroskop (Vergrößerung: 160-fach) vermessen worden. Im Bereich des marginalen Randspaltes konnten keine signifikanten Unterschiede der Systeme IPS Empress 2 (55,3 μm ±31,8 μm) und Celay (52,0 μm ± 37,3 μm) zur Schlickertechnik (54,0 μm ± 31,7 μm) nachgewiesen werden. Signifikant größere Werte ergaben sich für DCS Precident (78,3 μm ± 72,5 μm). Für die absolute zervikale Diskrepanz zeigten die Systeme IPS Empress 2 (72,9 μm ± 26,8 μm) und Celay (78,0 μm ± 44,9 μm) signifikant geringere Werte als die In-Ceram-Schlickertechnik (101,5 μm ± 61,6 μm). DCS Precident zeigte hierbei die größten Werte (124,2 μm ± 86,7 μm). Innerhalb der verschiedenen Systeme zeigten sich teilweise, wohl herstellungstechnisch bedingt, Unterschiede in der Passgenauigkeit bezüglich verschiedener Messstellen. Grundsätzlich lassen sich mit den Systemen In-Ceram-Schlickertechnik, IPS Empress 2 und Celay Brücken mit klinisch akzeptablen Passgenauigkeiten herstellen. Ob klinische Studien zu ähnlichen Ergebnissen gelangen und eine aktuellere Software-Version von DCS Precident zu qualitativ hochwertigeren Ergebnissen führt, bleibt abzuwarten.
