Dara Stara is an international speaker, transformational workshop facilitator and musician. Leading form her heart, she cuts into the 5 taboos of our society: sex, money, death, truth and power to dissolve what hides underneath plain sight. Dara has always been a gentle rebel. When she was supposed to be a teenager she sat in sweatlodges, bent spoons and walked on fire. When she was supposed to turn into an elite opera singer, she went to study Singer Songwriter, because that seemed more of a challenge. When she was supposed to get a job, she turned into a unicorn touring Europe and entertaining kids in a musical because she was in love with the director. When she was supposed to get married, she refused all proposals because freedom was her only refuge. When she was supposed to have children, she terminated the pregnancies, because she was too scared of not being ready. She learned only later that there is no such thing as ready, there is only willing. When she was supposed to be a stay at home mom in a million dollar villa on a holiday island, she left that paradise for an extraordinary life full of love, challenge, laughter and adventure. Because being alive is more important to her than being secure. She refuses to be a number in the system. She refuses to follow what is norm. Her daughter once told her: “If I was you Mami, I would BE you!” So she chooses to follow the wisdom of a 5 year old every God-given day. ••• 3 BIGGEST GOLDEN NUGGETS (1) Every darkness you feel is always the message. WHO IS MY GUEST? Sara is a yoga and meditation teacher with around 200K following on social media. She says that practicing yoga has never failed to make her feel good and that's why she keeps returning over and over again ever since early 2012. Three years after taking her first yoga class she noticed how much her life has changed, or rather how much she has changed, as a result of her practice. She felt a strong desire to share it with others, started teaching a group of friends what eventually lead to signing up for teacher training. What started as a hobby and a student job turned into a full-time career. Now, Sara is grateful to be able to share what she love with other people, whether it be in a class, online, on a workshop or a retreat. Hey, this episode is not about exploiting the global situation to sell or lecture anything. It is simply a reminder to stay in your center despite any external challenges. It is a reminder to be in love and to be conscious about HOW YOU WANT TO RESPOND TO FEAR. Fear is a great and natural mechanism. And for some, it is a compass and a drive in our lives. But when fear becomes our main baseline of how we operate, it creates disharmony in the long-run. Also, this episode is a reminder that we are all connected and we are all in this together. Never forget this. e n j o y Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect? Hey, here is a reflection on the two realms: being and doing. Both are essential for life in my opinion. Unfortunately, at least from my personal experience, we spend the majority of our time in the doing mode. But what happens when we integrate the being more in our lives? ...e n j o y the episode beloved sisters and brothers! Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect? Hey, our health and wellbeing is our greatest asset. If this is not a priority in life, there is no career, no relationships, no anything... I know we get caught up in the illusion that we don't have time for that or that the health system is fully responsible to keep up well. (Yes, guilty of that myself.) But I believe it is not the case. We are fully responsible for our experience. And most importantly, we are the greatest experts in ourselves! Honoring and taking care of our beautiful biological technology is an act of self-love. And ultimately a path of self-acceptance and empowerment. e n j o y Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Hey, this is another live experiment - pressing the record button without knowing on what I will speak. Quite honestly speaking, I start enjoying this session more and more because they help me to lose my fear of control. I call myself #recoverINGcontrolfreak for a reason. Not because I've figured out everything. But because I still struggle with that and I am committed to step more into TRUST. e n j o y Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect? Hey, I am fascinated about the power of our mind and brains. We literally co-create our reality! Hey, when I hear someone shares that he/she is in a relationship for a longer period of time, I pause and start listening. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING is not easy. In an age of tinder, continuously changing working environment and the illusion of 1000+ friends on ig/fb ⇝ a fulfilling, authentic, committed long-term relationship is a r a r e breed. I am in a relationship with my partner for around 8 years. We are lovers , partners, co-dog parents (yes, I had to mention this #doglife) and we work (both entrepreneurs) and travel together. So believe me, when I say I have the uttermost respect for relationships, I mean it. I am always there to listen, to observe and tune in into the learnings and revelations of others in this sacred bond. I believe, relationships are: ▽ a strong essential human need we all have (and neglect) ▽ a underestimated powerful tool for personal growth and emotional maturity ▽ and that we don't learn actively how to nourish, invest and evolve a relationship naturally. Not in school. Not at university. Not at work and not on social media. So in this episode, I want to share with you some of my profound insights that I gained (...and continue to re-learn over and over again) in my relationship. And no matter if you are in a romantic relationship yourself in the moment, I believe this can be applied to our private as well as our work life. Where ever you have people, you have relationships. e n j o y Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect? Hey, Imagine that your mind is a tool that you can use to your disposal. And like any tool in life, in its nature a tool is limited. It can be truly valuable for some activities and tasks, but it is not equipped and designed to solve everything. For example: if it comes to processing our emotional reality, the mind - I believe - is only offering us a fraction of the potential to experience life to the fullest. Yet, so many times we are taught to hide behind our intellect and mind. And yes, I am no exception here: I am guilty of that too. It is easier to intellectualize your feelings, rather then fully feeling them. And don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with harnessing the power for your mind to verbalize what you feel, get understanding on why you feel this way, or to seek clarity on the origin of your triggers. Indeed, that's all very useful! You become more conscious of your programming and of your needs. BUT remember: you can also get stuck in this head space. We are multidimensional beings. We have a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual experience. If we only sharpen one single tool (e.g. the mind) we will fall out of balance. So this podcast episode is an invitation to connect deeper with your feelings and emotions, and to pause for a while with your thinking. Or better put: it is an invitation to think less and to feel more. e n j o y Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect? Hey, in this transmission I share with you some powerful realizations when it comes to allowing your body to work through some stuff. When we think of medicine we usually associate it with a traditional treatment or pills. But what I believe is that medicine is all around us. It is music. It is a hug. It is a conversation with a friend. It is food. Tears running down your cheek can be medicine. Medicine is love. And it is all around you. The question is: are you open to receive your medicine? Can you really recognize it for for it is? Love, Alisa #IAE #IAMENOUGH _ Questions? Wishes? Wanna connect?
