#socialmediamanager #communitymanager #business #marketing Many of you are growing your team, and have figured out the importance of hiring the correct person for the correct job. Hiring for the wrong position when it comes to a #communitymanageand/or #socialmediamanagercan be detrimental. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Let's break down both of these roles so you can make sure you hire right the first time. Identifying the difference is as easy as answering one simple question: Who is your [social media/community] manager talking to? If you can't define who your new hire is talking to, chances are that position is not well defined, and it should be fleshed out a little more. #socialmediamanagers and #communitymanages both strive to provide a human element to a company's online presence and can often use the same social media platform to do so… but when push comes to shove, they speak to entirely different groups. #socialmediamanagers speak to an audience on behalf of your company… An audience as a specific group of people who are targeted recipients of your message. #communitymanages, on the other hand, speak to… well… your community! A community is “a specific group of people who have developed relationships around a strong common interest.” Let's dive a little deeper into this, shall we? #communitymanages: what they do A #communitymanage's main function is to create a healthy environment for members to connect with each other and facilitate, strengthen, and those relationships. Their job isn't to directly broadcast #marketing messages, but to help members talk to each other. What a #socialmediamanager does #socialmediamanagers specialize creating a strong online presence for a brand by creating, distributing, and curating engaging content for an audience. Their main role is to connect with customers and potential customers and offer some sort of value in return for the members' attention. #emailmarketing #strategy Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are some tactical #emailmarketing tips and tricks. Step 1 – understand #emailmarketing #strategy Each email we send has one of five purposes: ● Indoctrinate – teach them who you are ● Engage – get them to buy ● Ascend – get them to buy more ● Segment – learn what they want to buy next ● Reengage/win back – bring them back These are the 5 stages to a solid #emailmarketing #strategyand this is absolutely where you must start. Step 2 – learn how to approach writing high-converting emails Now you have a grasp on the five stages of #emailmarketing, but when it comes to actually writing the… ● Subject lines ● Body copy ● And landing pages for those emails … you need to understand the responsibilities of each element of an email. Break down your method for writing high-converting emails by focusing on the “job responsibilities” of each element in that email. A lot of emails fail because the email marketer doesn't understand the job of each part of an email. Step 3 – learn the emotional triggers that increase email click-through rate Now that you're getting those emails opened — you need to get the click. Each email we send contains one or more of these principles of persuasion. ● Gain ● Logic ● Fear ● Scarcity These principles of persuasion can be applied anywhere you want people to take action and they're sure to get more clicks from email. WHAT IS CONTENTMARKETING?

#marketing #contentmarketing ##digitalmarketing There are a lot of ways to market online. So many, in fact, that we've created an entire business around educating people on the ins-and-outs of #digitalmarketing. Why are we always talking about #contentmarketing? Because right now, it's everywhere. It's on every website you visit, social profile you scroll through, and even in this video that you're watching right now. #contentmarketing is a big deal, and rightfully so. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of #digitalmarketing. Let's look at the basics of what is #contentmarketing? #contentmarketing builds an audience of future customers, engages them so they're motivated to buy your product, and then continues to interact with them so they can become brand ambassadors for your business. #contentmarketing publishes content (see, this isn't so overwhelming, right?) For future and current customers. ● Blogs ● Videos ● Podcasts ● Email newsletters ● Ebooks ● Physical books ● Other types of newsletters ● Images What kind of content should you publish? What kind of content should you publish? That's easy. The kind your audience wants to consume. Your customer avatar is the person that you created your product for. They're the person who needs your product to improve their life. Each avatar wants to consume content differently. For example, let's say that your customer avatar is a new mom and you're selling a state-of-the-art pacifier that is somehow monumentally different than those that already exist on the market. HOW TO DO A CONTENT AUDIT AND BOOST YOUR ORGANICTRAFFIC

#content #organictraffic #analytics A #content audit is where you analyze the performance of all #content on your site to determine whether it should be kept as-is, updated, deleted, consolidated, or redirected. The result? A healthier site with fewer underperforming low-quality pages. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's . You can do a #content audit manually on a page-by-page basis. The first thing to do is to check whether the page gets “a meaningful level of traffic” in google #analytics. You can choose whatever threshold you like for “meaningful” traffic. The next step is to check if a good amount of that traffic comes from organic search. Here's how to deal with the three possible outcomes Redirect (301) or update This recommendation occurs when: The page gets no meaningful trafficfrom any source; Has at least one followed backlink. But which is the correct option to choose? Redirect, or update? If the page or post targets a worthwhile keyword with decent #organictraffic potential—and is related to your business goals—then you should update rather than redirecting elsewhere. This may give it a boost in the serps and bring more #organictraffic to your website. Delete (404) This recommendation occurs when the page: Gets no meaningful trafficfrom any source; Has zero followed backlinks. Manually review This recommendation occurs when the page: Gets decent traffic. Has little (if any) trafficfrom organic search. It's here where things get a little more complicated as there are a few potential actions to take: Leave as is: ‘noindex': Update: Redirect (301) and/or consolidate: Which brings us to an important point: You should never delete or redirect a page without first manually reviewing it. Failure to do that can result in some nasty seo faux pas, such as deleting your “contact” or “terms of service” page because it has no traffic or backlinks. That's not a page you want to delete regardless of how poorly it performs. INTERNALLINKS FOR SEO: AN ACTIONABLE GUIDE

#Seo #Internallinks #Pagerank What are #Internallinks? They're links from one page on the same domain to another. Every website has them. But what most people don't realize is that—when used strategically—#Internallinks can significantly boost a site's performance in the search engines. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's look at how to create a smart #internal inking strategy for your website. How to set up the ideal internal link structure Think of your website as a pyramid with the most important content at the top and the least important content at the bottom. Most websites have the same page at the top of the pyramid—their homepage. Under that, they have their next most important pages—about us, services, products, blog, etc. Under each of those, they have slightly less important pages—individual products and service pages, blog posts, etc. But you shouldn't link all pages on one level of the hierarchy to all pages on another. You need to keep relevance in mind. The art of siloing Siloing is the grouping together of topically-related web pages via #Internallinks. For example, imagine that we have a website about countries and cities with these pages: You can tell that each page falls into one of two distinct groups: Pages about countries Pages about the cities in those countries Three benefits of this are: Users will have an easier time navigating their way around your site. Crawlers will have an easier time understanding your site structure. More “authority” is transferred to your most important pages (because subpages link back to hub pages and vice-versa). HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR BLOG: 3 FUNDAMENTAL STRATEGIES

#blog #strategies #traffic #content Just published a brand new #blog post and have no clue how to promote it? Let's fix that. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's how to effectively promote your #blog with just 3 fundamental strategies. 1. Run facebook ads Most people want to learn “free #content promotion strategies” because they don't want to pay for promotion. But what they often don't realize is that, in reality, no #content promotion method is free because of something called opportunity cost. Opportunity cost is an economics term that refers to the value of what you have to give up in order to choose something else. In a nutshell, it's a value of the road not taken. Now back to facebook ads. Done correctly, you can get clicks from facebook for under $0.30 each. Which means that $30 translates into 100+ guaranteed clicks to your article which leads to some decent referral #traffic. 2. Promote beyond your existing audience Too many #bloggers are limiting their #content promotion activities to their existing audience. If that's all you're doing to promote your #content, you won't get far. Now, with facebook ads, you can easily create a “negative audience”of people who have already visited your website and only pay for clicks from people who have never heard about you. This way you can effectively enlarge your audience and expose your #content to more and more people over time. 3. Create share-worthy #content Creating great share-worthy #content is essential for the success of your #blog. Impress your readers, Overwhelm them with value, Spark an emotion in them… Creating great #content is the most crucial #content promotion strategy ever. Publish something unique and insightful, and the support you get from others in your industry may amaze you. Anyone is capable of creating amazing and original #content that will make a splash in their industry. You just need to invest a ton of time and effort into doing things that haven't yet been done. #podcast #marketing #podcasting is now one of the fastest growing content types in the world. And, most importantly for marketers and business owners, more than half of #podcast listeners say that they're at least somewhat more likely to buy something after hearing their advertisement on a #podcast. But starting a new #podcast is hard, and lots of rookies face a lot of the same challenges. Production, editing, and content ideation is harder than people think. But for most businesses who do an interview-style show, there's an even bigger challenge: getting people on their #podcast. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here are a few tips that will help you get people on your #podcast. Finding the #podcast guests that you want What makes for a good #podcast guest? That's going to very much depend on your #podcast. You want to find people who will resonate with your audience, and drive toward your #podcast's main goal, whatever that may be. Big names make for great #podcast guests. They're flashy, eye-catching, and make people want to listen. But the not-so-famous #podcast guests can be just as good as the big names. And, sometimes, they can be even better for your business, even if they don't attract as many new listeners as the big names. That's because you can use the #podcast with that person to create a relationship, whether it be transitioning that person into a client, or creating a mutually beneficial strategic relationship. It's a strategy that helps you make content and Find qualified leads. Which is something that the big names don't necessarily offer. How to get your guests on Finding a good #podcast guest is only half the battle. The second part is actually getting them to agree to coming on. You just have to ask. It may seem like an obvious answer, but it really is as simple as that. The worst thing that they can say is no. And, truth be told, that may be the answer that you get at first. But persistence is key, as well as meeting their demands when they finally come around to say yes. So, what does that usually entail? Flexibility and credibility. HOW TO BECOME AN SEO EXPERT (3 STEPS)

#seo #backlinks #onpage #seo Looking to become an #seo expert but have no clue where to begin? With demand for #seo professionals higher than ever and average hourly rates sitting between $75-$150, there's a clear financial incentive to get good at #seo. But with no colleges offering degrees in #seo, it's up to you to carve your own path in the industry. Hi i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's look at how to kickstart your journey to becoming an #seo expert in 3 simple steps. 1. Learn how search engines work Google's index contains trillions of web pages, which is built primarily from crawling the web. When you type a query into google, it pulls all matching pages. Because there are often millions of relevant results, google's algorithm then ranks them based on hundreds of factors. Nobody knows what all of these factors are or how they're weighted, but we do know some. So take the time to learn moreabout the search engine you are targeting. 2. Understand the three key ranking factors Lots of people get bogged down optimizing for ranking factors that aren't all that important. So before you start obsessing over pagespeed or title tags, make sure you're on top of the three big ones. Relevance This is how well your page matches the query. Authority This largely boils down to #backlinks. Google sees links as votes of confidence. The more high-quality #backlinks you have, the higher you're likely to rank. Utility Google aims to show the best result in pole position. That means it isn't enough just to match search intent. So the best course of action is to review the current top-ranking pages and see what's good about them, and where they fall short. 3. Master the four main buckets of #seo Think of #seo as a puzzle with multiple pieces. Understanding how they fit together is essential knowledge for any industry professional. The four pieces are: Keyword research; On-page #seo; Link building; Technical #seo For more information, visit www.iidm.world #contentmarketing #digitalmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #business #marketingdigital #branding #seo #instagram #onlinemarketing #advertising #digital #entrepreneur #contentmarketing #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketingagency #marketingtips #follow #smallbusiness #design #bhfyp #webdesign #like #photography #graphicdesign #content #art #fashiondigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingagency #digitalmarketingsalary #whatisadigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingcompanies #digitalmarketingjobs #digitalmarketingcertificate #digitalmarketingcompany #digitalmarketingcourse #digitalmarketingservices #digitalmarketingstrategy #marketingdigital #digitalmarketingconsultant #digitalmarketingagencynearme #googledigitalmarketingcertification #digitalmarketingmanager #digitalmarketinginternship #digitalmarketinginstitute --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/iidmusa/message

WHY SEO IS IMPORTANT: 4 UNDENIABLE FACTS

#seo #links #content #marketing Did you know that there are 3.5 billion searches performed every day on google? But only a handful of those businesses are visible. The rest are tucked away in the safest spot for hiding a dead body—the second page of google, and beyond. What makes the difference between total obscurity and ranking for a keyword that sends you customers on autopilot? Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here are 4 reasons you need #seo to survive and thrive 1. Organic search is the solution to the “flatline of nope” Ppc and other #marketing tactics can send traffic, but as soon as you stop investing your time, effort or money in them, traffic fades to nothing. In other words, organic traffic has staying power. It's sustainable! Organic traffic is sustainable as long as you target a topic with organic search traffic potential. I.e., a topic that people are searching for, month after month, in google. 2. #seo lets you nurture and convert leads at specific stages of the buying cycle Many of your prospects almost certainly turn to google when they have a problem. But the way they express it might be different depending on how aware they are of their own problem and the available solutions. Different stages of the buyer's journey presents an opportunity to write and rank content that addresses a wide array of questions and concerns. If you can rank strategically for content that answers very specific enquiries—the kind that you know your customers have, and search for—then it's as if you magically show up every step of the way and cement your brand into your prospects' minds. 3. Your competitors are already stealing your business by doing it. 51 percent of all website traffic comes from organic search, 10 percent from paid search, 5 percentfor social, and 34 percent from all other sources. #seo is 10x more effective than social media. It is responsible for 51% of website traffic, and generates 40% of revenue. Even ranking partway down page one can mean that your competitors are still stealing the majority of your business because the #1 result almost always gets the vast majority of total clicks. Therefore, #seo requires consistent effort, analysis and improvement. 4. Paid search gets as low as 6% of the clicks for a keyword. Simply paying your way to the top just doesn't cut it when it comes to google's search results. Most people will ignore paid searches completely, opting for organic results almost all (94%) of the time. Looking further into this, it can be seen that the second and third pages receive an additional combined 5.59% of total clicks. What do we have left? A generous 6% of traffic going to paid search. Holding a long-term organic positionon the first page of google's search engine results directly impacts your capacity to benefit from organic traffic. 4 TYPES OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE BLOG POSTS

#blogpost #socialmedia #marketing Blog posts are one of the most effective tools when it comes to content marketing. That being said, there are many different types of blog posts and not all of them are guaranteed to convert reader to customer. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's talk about the 4 most effective types of blog posts. 1: original research posts People go nuts for original research. They read it, share it, interact with it—it's the content holy grail. However, it's hands down the most difficult and time consuming to produce. It's a huge undertaking, but one of the most fruitful pieces of content you can produce today. Not only will you build up anticipationfrom the people who took part in research, but your posts will get cited, get oodles of backlinks, and likely show up in presentations years after the original research went live (even if it's out of date). 2: checklist posts Who doesn't want to go through a piece of content that tells them exactly what to do and, if they follow it, they have a deliverable? This instantly makes your content actionable for your audience and once they've taken one action and gotten over any level of doubt in your brand or self-doubt in themselves, they'll take another action. Posts like, “5 copywriting elements you should test”, “10-point blog post audit”, “15-point landing page checklist”, etc.… are all checklist style posts that generate a deliverable at the end. 3: pillar posts A piece of pillar content is your thesis—it's why you exist; it separates you from everyone else out there. Pillar content is your evergreen content that becomes your backlink magnet and an amazing way to help you create derivative work for future posts. These posts are normally huge and should be accompanied by a pdf download so people can read it later. 4: content aggregator posts Who doesn't have a folder full of email, ad, social, and landing page swipe files? The fact is, we tend to emulate (even when we shouldn't). It's much harder to start with a blank page/canvas. Swipe files that show examples of great instagram video ads with commentary are a great device to help inspire your audience and get those creative juices flowing. Even better, this type of content is super shareable and will benefit from backlinks and social traffic. #content #blog #post #marketing #digitalmarketing Everyone knows . But in 2022, #blogging can't be the only thing your business is doing. With the number of social channels out there that you can use to reach customers, expanding your #content repertoire (and reach) is an important part of every companies' long-term #content #marketing plan. Hi, i'm cally from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here are 4 different types of #content besidess #blogs 1. Videos The rise of video was inevitable. Video can inform, entertain, and captivate. It can do all 3 of those things at the same time, and it can also do them exclusively. Because of that, video can be effective at almost any point in the customer value journey. 2. Infographics People like infographics because they can deliver a lot of useful information. They also make that information very consumableand easy to understand. And clarity, more than anything, makes people want to buy your product or use your service. 3. Tools The ability to interact with something and use it in your own unique way, not only makes it useful, but it also makes it memorable. That's why tools are such a good #content type: people can get value out of it, and they can do it on their own accord. The only problem is knowing what tool you need to provide in the first place. If you're in digital #marketing, maybe it's a tool that helps your clients map out their #marketing plan. If you're a personal fitness trainer, maybe it's a tool that helps your clients track their fitness and dietary habits. Truthfully, the options are endless. 4. Challenges Challenges aren't really meant to generate new customers. It's meant to keep your existing ones happy. They can be a great way to keep your already happy customers engaged or re-engage some customers that maybe haven't purchased or opened your emails in a while. They allow your customers to actually accomplish something cool, while also keeping your brand at the front of their mind. 4 MARKETING HACKS TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER

#marketing #digitalmarketing #socialmedia It's hard to keep up continued success in business and #Marketing, but sometimes all we need is a good #Marketing and growth hack, a simple, easy to implement missing link that will get us where we need to be. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #Marketing. Here are 4 #Marketing hacks that can help you get the traffic and achieve the growth that you want to. 1. Don't shy away from video If you aren't utilizing video in your business's content or digital advertising efforts, you're selling yourself short. In 2019, 87% of video marketers said that video increased traffic to their site and 84% of people said they were convinced to buy a product or service after watching a video. It's simple—in the digital age, video works. Consumers interact with videos, make purchases based off of them, and share them with friends. For as much money as it will cost to get your video efforts where they need to be, the payoff is exponentially more. 2. Look at your data regularly Data should be the north star of your business—it should guide your decisions, spending, and advertising. For all of those times you may think that you have an ingenious idea, data can confirm (or dispute) it's worth. The right data will tell you your customers' purchasing habits, which ads are working, and what parts of your acquisition strategy may need more tlc. Making data-driven decisions is the best way for your business to reach its full potential. 3. Make sure your website is mobile friendly Now that more than 50% of all website visits come from a mobile or handheld device, it's time to make sure your visitors' mobile experience is something that will actually be useful to them. It may feel really easy to dismiss mobile optimization, but you risk cutting your earning potential way short. So double check your buttons, menus, and page layout to ensure that your mobile users are getting just as enjoyable an experience as your full site users. 4. Listen to what your consumers are saying From your side of the transaction, people buying your products seems indicative enough of how good of a job you are doing. But, in reality, there's probably so many other ways you could be doing better. And, the best expert on customer experience is, after all, the customer. You can reach out in a variety of ways: follow-up emails, facebook groups, social media posts, and surveys. But one way or another, you need to hear what they have to say. #marketingagency #digitalmarketing #marketing Agencies are a huge segment of the marketing industry, and they can offer a wide variety of services. But without understanding what a #marketingagency is, it can feel like you are staring into a digital maze. Hi, i'm cally from the international institute of #digitalmarketing. Let's find out; what is a #marketingagency? A #marketingagency is a fairly generic term for a company that serves other businesses in one or more areas of marketing. Often times, you'll hear different terms thrown around to describe different types of agencies, such as marketing firm, or internet marketing service. Historically, marketing firms tended to stick to 1 or 2 specific niches in marketing (e.g. Just seo or content), while agencies employed a variety of experts in different marketing fields so they could offer a more comprehensive service. It's safe to say they all generally refer to a company that provides marketing services to other businesses. So, what do marketing agencies do? Historically the ad agencies typically had a pretty specific set of services—ad creative and media buying primarily, but that's not really the case anymore. Most marketing agencies nowadays provide a variety of different services, and will often work with one client to fulfill a handful of needs—these can include: ● Digital advertising ● Creative design ● Web development ● Seo management ● Social media management ● Strategic planning and data analysis ● Media planning and buying ● Funnel building/management ● Copywriting— ● As you can see, agency work spans a wide variety of marketing specializations, and each agency is unique in the services they provide, and the philosophies and strategies they employ. 3 SIMPLE WAYS TO INCREASE THE VALUE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS

#customer #content #marketing #digital marketing There are lots of different ways you can lower that new #customer acquisition cost. But wouldn't it make even more sense to make your current, cheaper-to-resell-to, #customers spend even more money? Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here is a list of 3 simple ways you can increase the value of your current #customers. Bundle your products Treat your products like they are going out in a winter storm. The more bundles, and the more variety of bundles you have, the more your #customers are going to get tempted to buy more. Not only does this incentivize a larger overall purchase, but it even gets your #customer to try something they may not have bought otherwise. And that may just be their new favorite product. Cart abandonment email Sending your #customers a reminder when they leave something in their cart can make a huge difference in your follow-through rates. Even if they were just window shopping, they were interested enough to add it to their cart, and that final nudge may be what tips them over the edge to make the purchase. It doesn't need to be complicated, and you can send 1, 2, or more if you want to. Just make sure to make it as easy as possiblefor your #customer to get back to their cart to check out. Prime with #content No matter what you are selling, the best way to keep your #customers coming back is to build and maintain trust. And nothing boosts your trust factor more than great #content that sets you up as an authority, expert, or even friend. The trick is to create #content that is specifically about the issues your #customers are having. Do some research and find the questions your #customers are asking, and then answer them. Make sure to provide a ton of value, since that is the best way to boost your reputation with your audience. SEO VS. SEM: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

#seo #sem #onpage#seo #offpage Search engines like google have two types of search results: paid and organic. Paid results show up when companies pay google for clicks. Organic results are the ones that google deems most relevant for the query. Business owners can increase website trafficby appearing in organic and paid results using #seo and ppc. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here is a guide to a more comprehensive search engine marketing (#sem) strategy. 1. Run ads for keywords that are too competitive It can take years to rank for some keywords. But this doesn't mean you should abandon #seo and just run ads. Since ranking for competitive queries will likely be a long-play, there are a few benefits to using ppc while working to rank your pages. ● A) you can generate revenue immediately ● B) you can test and optimize for conversions ● C) you can get valuable keyword data 2. Use ppc and #seo for ad-heavy keywords Ppc is a great way to get traffic from this keyword, but what about #seo? If we look at estimated organic traffic to the current top-ranking page for a keyword, we would see that it gets an estimated 64,000 monthly organic visits. Bottom line: invest in #seo and ppc to get maximum traffic from ad-heavy keywords. 3. Use #seo for informational keywords Most google searches are informational. That means people are looking to learn, not buy. That's why are some marketers are willing to put effort into ranking organically, but aren't willing to pay for traffic to that page. It comes down to cost vs. Reward. Given a low keyword difficulty score for a query, the dollar-equivalent of the time and effort required to rank organically would almost certainly be less in comparison. 4. Use #seo and ppc to monopolize the search results It's not just ads that push down the organic search results. Google now shows serp features like featured snippets,“people also ask” boxes and video carousels for some queries. These can be annoying when your goal is to rank higher, but remember that it's possible to appear in many serp features. You can appear in the snippet, video carousel, and near the top of the “blue link” organic rankings. This is true of many #seo-related keywordsbecause you committed to providing the best resources for queries. Some brands choose to monopolize the search results even further by running ads for keywords they already rank for. : #backlinks #keywords #content The best place to hide a dead body is on the second page of google. You've probably heard that before. It's a common joke amongst seos because only 0.78% of people click results on the second page of google. Jokes aside, here's the reality: If you rank on page two or beyond, you're practically invisible. Hi, i'm cally from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's learn how to solve that in 5 easy steps. Step #1. Choose a keyword Most of you have probably done this already but if you haven't, you need to choose a keyword that you want to rank for on the first page of google. Step #2. Check the competition Just as it'd be tough to start a successful variety store across the road from walmart, it's hard to rank on the first page of google when competition is fierce. So the next step is to understand the competitive landscape—starting with whoyou're up against. Step #3. Choose or create a page (that aligns with search intent) It's important to realize that google ranks web pages, not websites. Now, the page you want to rank on google might be your homepage, but it doesn't have to be. It can be any page. Just make sure it aligns with search intent (i.e., is the type of #content google wants to rank for your target keyword). Step #4. Make sure your #content covers the topic in full Having #content that aligns with search intent isn't enough. It also needs to be deserving of a place on the first page, where google aims to show the most relevant, useful results. Step #5. Estimate how many #backlinks you need #backlinks are an important ranking factor. Not only has google told us this, but pretty much every industry study has found a positive relationship between organic search traffic and #backlinks. 4 PROVEN TACTICS TO INCREASE YOUR BLOG TRAFFIC

#blog #traffic #links Struggling to gain traction on your #blog? Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are 4 tried and tested tactics to increase your #blog traffic: 1. Write about topics people are searching for It can be tempting to write about whatever excites you. This could be the latest industry topics, breaking news, or even just a random rant. But these types of posts have short shelf lives. The solution? Write about topics that people search for. For as long as your article ranks in google for relevant search queries, you'll receive consistent, passive organic search traffic. 2. Make sure you're matching search intent Search intent is the why behind a search query. Why does this matter? Google aims to provide users with the most relevant results for their queries. If you want to rank high on google, you need to be the most relevant result—and that means creating content that aligns with search intent. 3. Tackle topics with in-depth content Fun fact: the average #1 ranking page also ranks in the top 10 for nearly 1,000 other keywords. This happens because google knows that when people search for variations of the same topic (e.g., “how to lose weight,” “lose weight,” etc.), they're all looking for the same thing. As a result, they often rank the same pages for lots of related long-tail queries. How can you improve your chances of ranking for lots of queries like this? Create content that covers a topic in as much detail as possible. 4. Build an email list Why email? Platforms like facebook deliberately limit your reach (average organic reach on facebook is 1–6%). With email, you can communicate with your fans anytime. Building a list doesn't have to be complicated. Simply offer to deliver more of the content people enjoydirect to their inbox. If you want to be a little more “aggressive”, try offering something useful like a pdf version of the post or a free 7‑day course in exchange for their email. VIDEO SEO: HOW TO RANK YOUTUBE VIDEOS ON GOOGLE

Play Episode Listen Later May 26, 2022 2:22

#seo #youtube #traffic Looking to get more #youtube video views from google? Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's how to rank your #youtube videos on google in 4 easy steps. Step 1. Find video topics with “#traffic potential” Not every video has the potential to attract views from google. The reason for this is simple: For a video to attract views from google, two things have to be true: People need to be searching on google for that topic. If nobody is searching for it, then nobody will click on your video even if it ranks. The topic must have “video intent.” This means that most searchers would prefer to watch a video about the subject instead of reading about it. Keyword research tools can help with finding topics that people are searching for. You can then look for videos in the search results to infer “video intent. Step 2. Create an “optimized” video First, use simple language and “action verbs” to describe each step in the video. Make sure to avoid unnecessary fluff and distractions between instructions where possible. This will only reduce clarity, which may confuse google's language processing algorithms. Second, ensure that your audio is clear and high quality. To do this, use a decent microphone and keep background noise to a minimum. Third, show what you're talking about on the screen as you talk about it. Step 3. Fix your closed captions #youtube automatically adds closed captions to videos. The problem is that these are rarely perfect. Misspelled words and grammatical errors are a common issue. For that reason, it's best to add your own. In terms of search, discovery, and engagement, captions are one of the most powerful pieces of data out there. The internet is text-based, so your video is going to stay hidden from search engines unless the text attached to it can be picked up. Step 4. Upload an enticing thumbnail Videos with poor thumbnails won't get as many clicks from google as those with enticing ones. Here are a few tips for creating thumbnails that entice searchers to click: Use a custom thumbnail Use the correct aspect ratio Use a congruent image Use contrast to your advantage Use descriptive text on the thumbnail For more information, visit www.iidm.world #contentmarketing #digitalmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #business #marketingdigital #branding #seo #instagram #onlinemarketing #advertising #digital #entrepreneur #contentmarketing #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketingagency #marketingtips #follow #smallbusiness #design #bhfyp #webdesign #like #photography #graphicdesign #content #art #fashiondigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingagency #digitalmarketingsalary #whatisadigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingcompanies #digitalmarketingjobs #digitalmarketingcertificate #digitalmarketingcompany #digitalmarketingcourse #digitalmarketingservices #digitalmarketingstrategy #marketingdigital #digitalmarketingconsultant #digitalmarketingagencynearme #googledigitalmarketingcertification #digitalmarketingmanager #digitalmarketinginternship #digitalmarketinginstitute --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/iidmusa/message

4 WAYS YOUR MINDSET CAN SHAPE YOUR SUCCESS IN THE INTERNET MARKETING INDUSTRY

#internetmarketingindustry #success #digitalmarketing Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. When it comes to internet marketing success, here are top 4 big picture tips. 1. Get obsessed Getting obsessed with your passion is different than just working more. Obsession is a level of dedication that transcends immediate rewards. When you think about achieving your internet marketing goals, think about time as an investment. Each hour you spend surrounding yourself with your passion means more headway towards achieving your goals. Yes–it will get tiresome, but what's the alternative? 2. The 1% mindset If you want to be at the top, you have to have the mindset of the top. That mental shift can be the key to unlocking your potential. How many people actually end up making money online? It's probably less than 1%. Really, the only way to be in that 1% is to operate on that level. That level included working like crazy towards your goal and not settling for the routine or expected path. 3. Follow your intuition So many people mute their intuition and settle for jobs and careers that don't make them happy. One of the best ways to figure out if you're on the right path towards your personal success is to pause and think about what you really love to do and how your ideal day would look. Even if you're not on the path you want to be right now, you can start following your intuitionand correct your course. 4. Keep it lowkey Do you want people to think you're someone who makes money online, or do you want to actually make money online? Only one of these answers is correct when it comes to achieving success. This is a good test for all endeavors. From becoming a writer to traveling… the person who achieves the goal spends more time putting in the work rather than talking about putting in the work. Oftentimes talking about goals can diminish motivation because it provides a false sense of accomplishment which can lead to complacency. HOW DIGITAL MARKETING WILL CHANGE: 5 PREDICTIONS FOR 2022

#digitalmarketing #prediction #digitalmarketing is no stranger to changes. We have to stay on our toes if we want to stay relevant with the never ending changes to algorithms and regulations—and part of that is positioning ourselves for success. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of #digitalmarketing. Here are 5 #digitalmarketing predictions for 2022. #1 As the pandemic subsides, shoppers, diners, tourists and consumers of all kinds are going to go out. And when they go, they are going big. Marketers will need to know where their ideal customers go, how often they visit, competitors they're shopping at — as much as they can know about the offline consumer journey. Reaching those audiences will be critical to business growth and will separate the 2022 winners from the laggards. #2 We saw a massive shift to onlinein 2020 because no one had a choice, now in 2022 those that shifted have choices. The first is to wing it, and carry on thinking they know what they are doing, the second is to get trained or outsource what they are doing to make sure they are benefitting from the new normal. Without doing one or the other, businesses will eventually fail. #3 The massive and sweeping emphasis on privacy is going to alter (and significantly inhibit) the way advertisers are able to target and track prospects. This might be the first time in the history of online advertising that we have actually gone backwards in terms of our ability to capture and utilize data. I believe this is going to place a heavy emphasis on the quality of the creative being used in online ads as well as the need to monitor and optimize the entire user journey (not just the conversion event). Advertisers are going to need to work to qualify prospects through intrinsic values (like user behavior and action) instead of relying as heavily on extrinsic values (like demographic information). The customer value journeyjust became that much more important! #4 We will begin to see a crack in the facebook/google ad duopoly as amazon continues to steal share from google search ads and networks like spotify, tiktok, reddit, pinterest, become more proficient at serving ads. These smaller networks are gaining ground in the areas of audience targeting, self-serve ad platforms, and cost-per-acquisition (cpa and cpl) objectives rather than just cpm models. 2022 is a good year to dip your toes in the waters of some of these smaller ad platforms and start testing. #5 2022 is an entirely new look at social media and marketing. After a long year of growth, hardship, and survival (for many), people are ready to experience authenticity on a new level. Here's how to implement it: everything stems from intention. It sounds fluffy, but it's actually incredibly foundational. What is your intention with that instagram post? Sales or service? What is the intention behind your youtube video? Vanity metrics or value? What is your intention for replying to comments? Engagement or connection? HOW TO OPTIMIZE YOUR CONTENTSTRATEGY FOR LEADGENERATION

: #contentstrategy #leadgeneration #digitalmarketing We live in the era of an always multitasking, ever-moving consumer who is hard to impress. These days most brands are forced to up their content creation game and start producing in-depth and interactive content, investing into video creation and designing original graphics. However it is not enough. While content quality is fundamental, your #contentstrategy will fail to have any impact on your company's bottom line unless it is optimized for capturing and nurturing leads. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are three tips to optimize your #contentstrategy. Step 1: optimize for the customers' journeys, not just keywords Instead of targeting keywords, target a customer's experiences. Behind each search query, there's that searcher's intent, i.e. What they are hoping to do when they see search results. As buying journeys are becoming more and more complicated and unpredictable, you may adopt an even more robust approach. In other words, for every content you are thinking to create next, identify: Which keywords (and questions) your target reader is likely to type into the search box when looking for something your content is answering / solving What may have brought them to search for those specific queries (are they in the middle of the project? Are they in the process of buying something? Are they fighting a condition? Etc.) Create content that serves #2 in the best possible way. Provide directions and downloads which would match all possible scenarios that may have brought people to your site. Step 2: hook up your optin forms to a customer relationship management platform Firstly, people are less and less willing to give away their email addresses. Secondly, our email inboxes are so cluttered these days that it is next to impossible to get your marketing email noticed. It is high time that we rethink our lead nurturing process. Two possible ways to try out are: ● Hook up your opt-in forms to a customer relationship management platform. Hubspot provides one for free, but there are more crm options to consider. A crm platform will help you organize your contacts and develop a more comprehensive strategy of reaching out to them. You can use social media, keep a detailed record of all your interactions and identify best ways to turn your readers into buyers. ● Use facebook retargeting to be able to reach out to your content readers with personalized ads through the platform. This will allow you to get in touch with those people who chose not to subscribe to your list. Step 3: monitor and re-evaluate your conversion funnel Finally, changing the way you evaluate your content effectiveness is a must if you want to better understand which of those articles do the best job matching your customers' journeys. Google analytics is the most obvious option here, only it is not easy to figure out. Finteza is another option, especially with their “funnels” option allowing you to clearly see which pages “funnel” web users into becoming leads and buyers. Creating a funnel is easy: simply select your article url and then any number of “desired” actions (clicks, form fills, etc.) You'd like your article readers to perform. #startpage #qwant #Duckduckgo Google alternatives are everywhere, but are they any good? Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here is a review on 3 alternative search engines to google. 1. #startpage #startpage exclusively uses results from google, so it's effectively google without the tracking. #startpage doesn't record your ip address, and it doesn't serve tracking cookies. One great #startpage feature is dubbed “anonymous view.” This protects you against website fingerprinting, cookies, social media tracking pixels, and other invasions of privacy when visiting websites. 2. #qwant Started in 2013, #qwant is a search engine based in paris. Its search results are powered by bing and supplemented by those collected from its own web crawler. #qwant does not collect any data or use tracking cookies. It also dissociates your query and ip address for further anonymity. #qwant offers “search shortcuts” that allow you to search for results from a specific website. 3. #Duckduckgo Possibly the most popular private search engine, #Duckduckgo (ddg) has positioned itself as “anti-google” since its launch in 2008. #Duckduckgo sources its results from over 400 different places, including its own crawler (duckduckbot), crowdsourced sites (e.g., wikipedia), and partners (e.g., bing). According to #Duckduckgo, it does not store personally identifiable information like ip addresses. It also doesn't use tracking cookies. However, it does save searches, though it claims to do it in a non-identifiable way. #Duckduckgo's “bangs” feature takes you directly to search results on other sites. For example, typing “!w” and a keyword (e.g., !W singapore) takes you directly to wikipedia's page for singapore. #seo #metadescription #metaviewport #metatitle Meta tags are snippets of code that tell search engines important information about your web page, such as how they should display it in search results. They also tell web browsers how to display it to visitors. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's look at the 4 most important meta tags for #seo. Meta title This is the page title that google and most other search engines show in search results. Titles are critical to giving users a quick insight into the content of a result and why it's relevant to their query. It's often the primary piece of information used to decide which result to click on, so it's important to use high-quality titles on your web pages. Best practices Write a unique title tag for each page; Be brief, but descriptive; Avoid generic and vague titles; Use sentence case or title case; Create something click-worthy—not clickbait; Match search intent; Include your target keyword where it makes sense; Keep it under 60 characters. Meta description The meta description summarizes the page's content. Search engines often use it for the snippet in search results. Best practices Write a unique description for each page; Try to summarize content accurately; Avoid generic descriptions; Use sentence case; Create something click-worthy, not clickbait; Match search intent; Include your target keyword where it makes sense; Keep it under 160 characters Meta robots The meta robots tag tells search engines if and how they should crawl your web pages. Best practices Use meta robots tags only when you want to restrict the way google crawls a page; Don't block pages with meta robots tags in robots.txt; Meta viewport A meta viewport tag sets the visible area of a web page. It is used to instruct the browser how to render the page on different screen sizes (i.e., desktop/tablet/mobile). Best practices Use meta viewport tag on all web pages; Use the “standard” tag unless you know what you're doing For more information, visit www.iidm.world #contentmarketing #digitalmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #business #marketingdigital #branding #seo #instagram #onlinemarketing #advertising #digital #entrepreneur #contentmarketing #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketingagency #marketingtips #follow #smallbusiness #design #bhfyp #webdesign #like #photography #graphicdesign #content #art #fashiondigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingagency #digitalmarketingsalary #whatisadigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingcompanies #digitalmarketingjobs #digitalmarketingcertificate #digitalmarketingcompany #digitalmarketingcourse #digitalmarketingservices #digitalmarketingstrategy #marketingdigital #digitalmarketingconsultant #digitalmarketingagencynearme #googledigitalmarketingcertification #digitalmarketingmanager #digitalmarketinginternship #digitalmarketinginstitute --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/iidmusa/message

4 GOOGLE ANALYTICS TRACKING MISTAKES (AND HOW TO FIX THEM)

Play Episode Listen Later May 18, 2022 2:07

#analytics #tracking #google There's a high risk of making bad decisions if you're blindly relying on the data that you see in #google #analytics. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are 4 tips to help you minimize data skewing factors. 1. Missing or duplicate #google #analytics code This sounds trivial, but it's a common problem—especially on sites that use more than one cms. The good news is that #google #analytics has missing code notifications built-in. The bad news is that it's slow, and may take weeks to alert you about pages with missing code. It also doesn't tell you about duplicate codes, which is another common problem. For that reason, it's best not to rely on #google's notifications and instead crawl your site for errors with a tool that allows custom extraction. 2. Incorrectly set up interaction events If you're using interaction events for #tracking events that fire automatically on each page, like scroll depth #tracking, that'll result in close-to-zero bounce rates across your whole website—which isn't good. You can easily spot these issues by looking for unrealistically low bounce rates in ga. If you suspect interaction events as the culprit, change the event's “non-interaction hit” setting from false to true in #google tag manager. 3. #tracking hits from other domains It's surprisingly easy for someone to mess up your data if you don't take preventive measures. Why? Because your ga/gtm #tracking code is visible to anyone who opens your source code, so anyone can send hits to ga servers under your #tracking code. Luckily, it's easy to prevent this from happening by setting up a view filter. 4. #tracking your own sessions There are a lot of irregular actions we make on our websites, and we don't want those reflected in our data. So, while you're setting up filters, make sure to exclude hits from internal ip addresses. CONTENT HUBS FOR SEO: HOW TO GET MORE TRAFFIC AND LINKS WITH TOPIC CLUSTERS

#seo #content #traffic #content hubs are useful for more than just neatly organizing #content. They also have #seo benefits. Connecting your hub page and subpages using relevant internal links builds semantic relationships between #content. That may help to boost what we like to call “topical authority,”meaning google sees your site as authoritative when it comes to a particular topic. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's how to create a #content hub 1. Brainstorm topics for hub pages Grab a pen and paper, put your thinking cap on, and note down any topics that spring to mind. If you're struggling for ideas, head over to ahrefs' keywords explorer, search for a broad topic related to your niche, then go to the phrase match report. You'll see a lot of ideas here, and not all of them will be suitable for hub pages. 2. Choose relevant subtopics The key here is to choose subtopics that are highly related to your chosen topic. For example, if your hub page is about “how to make wine,” then it wouldn't make much sense to create a subpage about types of wine glasses. Good subpages give more information about a related topic. 3. Link them Your hub page should link to your subpages, and your subpages should link back to the hub. Many of the hubs you'll come across utilize custom designs to do this. While this looks good and makes sense from a user perspective, it's not a requirement. After all, some people don't have the resources to create elaborate hub designs. So, if you're creating hubs on a budget, it's fine to use regular links. seo #content #rankings #seo copywriting is the process of creating online #content that ranks high in google, drives qualified traffic, engages readers, and ultimately convinces them to take action. After all, #content that gets tons of traffic from google but never contributes to your business objectives is useless. The same goes for #content that converts like crazy but never gets any traffic. Hi' i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are some tips to help your ranking. 1. Match the three cs of search intent Understanding search intent can be pretty straightforard. Just look at the search results to figure out the 3 cs of search intent. #content type #content types almost always fall into one of five buckets: blog posts, product, category, landing pages or videos. #content format #content format applies mostly to informational #content. Examples formats include how-tos, listicles, news articles, opinion pieces, and reviews. #content angle #content angle is the main selling point of the #content. There's usually a dominant angle in the search results. 2. Create the best #content by analyzing the top-ranking pages Google wants to rank the most relevant, useful result on the first page. So, your post should show that it deserves a place there. How do you do this? By covering all the things searchers want to know and expect to see. The easiest way to figure this out is to look forcommonalities between the top-ranking results. 3. Build “linking triggers” in your #content Google says links are one of their top three ranking factors. That's probably why there's a clear correlation between links and organic traffic. So, when creating #content, you should try to understand why people are linking to the pages you wish to beat—and then apply those insights to your post. 4 GOOGLE RANKING FACTORS YOU SHOULDN'T IGNORE

#google #ranking #backlinks Most lists of #google #ranking factors are too long. They focus on listing every factor under the sun instead of those that actually matter. Even worse, because nobody knows them all, most contain a lot of myths. Hi, I'm Cally, from the International Institute of Digital Marketing. Here are 4 #google #ranking factors that most deserve your attention. #backlinks #backlinks are arguably the most important #ranking factor. How do we know? #backlinks form the basis ofPageRank, which is the foundation of #google's #ranking algorithm. Independent research also confirms the relationship between #backlinks and organic traffic. However, not all #backlinks are created equal. Lots of factors contribute to a backlink's ability to move the needle, and the two most important are relevance and authority. Topical authority #google wants to rank pages from authoritative sources—and this goes way beyond #backlinks. But is there any evidence for “topical authority” as a #ranking factor besides the anecdotal? Absolutely. #google's search quality rater guidelines mention something called E‑A-T. This stands for expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness. Search intent #google doesn't rank the same type of content for every query. Analyzing the current top-#ranking resultsfor the “four C's of search intent” is an excellent way to understand the basics of how to optimize for a query. The four C's are: Content style Content type Content format Content angle Content depth #google wants to rank the most useful resultfor the query, so covering everything searchers want to know is key. However, this isn't about content length. Longer content isn't always better. It's about covering what's important to the searcher and what they expect to see. Somewhere between the widely popular shrug emoticon and the sign bunny memes, turning your keyboard symbols into funny cartoons is a thing again! 3. WHAT IS SOCIAL LISTENING?

#Sociallistening #Listening #Socialmedia #sociallistening has risen to so much fame because it's an absolute necessity in 2022 and beyond. Marketers have been using their social channels to survey their audience for years, asking them what content they want to see or what products they need. #sociallistening is taking that surveyship to the next level. Hi, i'm cally from the international institute of digital marketing. Let's talk about #sociallistening. What is #sociallistening? #sociallistening happens when a brand listens to its audience on social channels. Listening to your audience means you're reading comments and looking for tagged content that tells you where your customer sentiment is. Sometimes that sentiment has to do with your brand specifically, and other times, it involves global events. With #sociallistening, brands (and specifically #socialmedia marketers) can build a brand presence that aligns with their customer avatar. We now have a direct communication line with our customers, and it's important to use it. Why does it matter? #sociallistening is the future of marketing. Technically it's always been part of marketing. Brands have listened to their customers for years by asking them to fill out surveys and leave their feedback. With #socialmedia, marketers get a different type of access to their customers. Instead of getting their filtered opinions through curated surveys and feedback, they can be a fly on the wall of the conversationstheir audience and customers are having. This gives marketers the chance to create campaigns specifically addressing the thoughts and ideas their customers have. For example, if a beauty brand notices that their audience is always asking for a specific eye shadow color—and the brand doesn't have that color yet—they can use #sociallistening to validate the new eye shadow color. I'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Here are some of the best #instagram #analytics tools. 1. Iconosquare Iconosquare helps you understand how your posting frequency relates to or drives either new followers or lost ones daily Iconosquare also gives you a buffer-like tool to manage how you post across several different accounts at one time. That makes it a perfect tool for freelancers or agencies that want to save time when managing multiple clients (or even multiple departments within the same company) from the same dashboard. 2. Sprout social Sprout social is similar to iconosquare in that it combines #instagram #analytics with content creation and management tools. They also have a powerful #instagram #analytics platform. It has a fully-featured editorial calendar for scheduling new content across multiple social account platforms (including twitter and facebook). Sprout social is perfect for larger organizations with rigid guidelines, too, because it has a centralized media library to manage with built-in editorial tools. 3. Keyhole Keyhole prides itself on giving customers real-time feedback. For example, you can drop in a specific hashtag, keyword, or account to see what trends are starting to emerge. Keyhole will also help you figure out which of your own internal trends provide the best results, giving you at-a-glance data into what activities are driving the most follower growth over time. 4. Squarelovin Squarelovin combines both aggregate data (like overall views and follower counts) with individual metrics on each post (by ‘scoring' the overall engagement). It tells you the best time frames for posting based on metrics. However, this tool also explicitly lets you know when you shouldn't post. This data can be just as valuable, especially if you're posting all the time. 4 ADVANCED #AFFILIATEMARKETING STRATEGIES TO TRY

#Affiliatemarketing #Advancedaffiliatemarketing #Marketing Advanced #affiliatemarketing could be defined as using sophisticated strategies to earn more from your #affiliatemarketing. It could mean finding the best niche to promote, choosing products your audience will like, and finding effective ways to promote them, among other things. Hi. I'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here are 4 ways to incorporate advanced #affiliatemarketing into your business and increase revenue Tailor your products to your audience Make sure you're promoting things your audience wants. This can be more complicated than you might think. Choosing great products to promote is about more than just picking categories that are generally aligned with your blog. It's about understanding your audience and their psychology. When it comes to understanding your readers, data and analytics are your friends. Use them wisely. Be transparent with your affiliate efforts You should let your readers know when you're using affiliate links for a few reasons. First, it can help you stay on top of regulation and avoid any potential legal issues. Second, it helps you build and keep your readers' trust. If your audience suddenly “finds out” they're being marketed to when they didn't realize it, they'll get upset, and you'll lose your following. A third reason you should be transparent about affiliate links is that it makes your site look legitimate and less spammy, which is essential when trying to avoid search engine penalties. Choose great products in a profitable niche If your market is receptive to high-value products, that's a good place to start. Since you're earning a commission, selling something more valuable will make you more. Of course, a low-value product can also be interesting if it's super desirable, and you manage to sell a lot of it. Put affiliate links where the most traffic is Another advanced #affiliatemarketing strategy that's super easy to implement is going through your existing content to see which of your pages are currently getting the most traffic. You can do this using google analytics. Once you've identified a few high-performing pages, add affiliate links to them. 3 SIMPLE WAYS TO BUILD LINKS WITH IMAGES

#Links #Infographics #Graphs THEY SAY A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO LINK BUILDING, A PICTURE CAN QUITE LITERALLY BE WORTH A THOUSAND #LINKS. HI, I'M CALLY, FROM THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DIGITAL MARKETING. HERE IS A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO LINK BUILDING WITH IMAGES 1. CLAIM #LINKS FROM IMPROPER ATTRIBUTIONS IF YOU'VE ALREADY CREATED SOME IMAGE TYPES, THEN PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE ALREADY EMBEDDED THEM. THESE #LINKS MOST LIKELY POINT TO THE ACTUAL IMAGE FILE ITSELF, NOT THE POST WHERE IT COMES FROM. THIS ISN'T IDEAL BECAUSE IMAGE #LINKS ARE A DEAD-END FOR PAGERANK AND PROBABLY AREN'T HELPING OUR PAGERANK IN GOOGLE. HERE'S HOW TO FIND AND CLAIM PROPER ATTRIBUTION FOR THESE TYPES OF IMAGE #LINKS: ● PASTE YOUR WEBSITE INTO A TOOL LIKE AHREFS' SITE EXPLORER, GO TO THE BACK#LINKS REPORT, THEN SEARCH FOR .PNG OR .JPG IN THE URLS OF BACK#LINKS: ● NEXT, FILTER THE REPORT TO SHOW ONLY “DOFOLLOW” #LINKS FROM UNIQUE DOMAINS. ● NOW IT'S JUST A CASE OF SIFTING THROUGH THE REPORT AND NOTING ANY #LINKS THAT WE WANT TO CLAIM IN A SPREADSHEET. 2. CLAIM #LINKS FROM UNAUTHORIZED USE MOST PEOPLE WHO USE YOUR IMAGES WILL CREDIT YOU WITH A LINK, BUT NOT EVERYONE. SO YOU'LL WANT TO FIND AND CLAIM #LINKSFROM UNAUTHORIZED USE. THE SIMPLEST WAY TO DO THIS IS WITH A GOOGLE REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH. JUST UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE OR PASTE IN THE URL, AND GOOGLE WILL KICK BACK PAGES WHERE IT THINKS THE IMAGE IS BEING USED. YOU THEN JUST NEED TO SIFT THROUGH THE RESULTS TO MAKE SURE: YOUR IMAGE IS ACTUALLY ON THE PAGE THEY'RE NOT CREDITING YOU WITH A LINK YOU WANT A LINK FROM THIS WEBSITE IF ALL OF THE ABOVE IS TRUE, MAKE A NOTE OF THE PAGE IN A SPREADSHEET. 3. SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING STRATEGY TIPS

#searchenginemarketing #seo #strategy Without trying too hard, larger enterprises can rank for many keywords because they're credible in the eyes of search engines (the number of pages and backlinks help). Hi, i'm cally, from THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DIGITAL MARKETING. HERE ARE THREE STEPS TO MAKE #SEO UPDATES. 1. FIND YOUR #SEO SWEET SPOT BASED ON DATA; SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS You can target any keyword or phrase, but you face two primary challenges. The word may be too competitiveor NOT SEARCHED, which would offer little to no value for your business. Use a tool like semrush to better understand what keywords would be reasonable to pursue. 2. EXPLORE OTHER OPTIONS THAT SUPPORT #SEO KEYWORDS You need to strike a balance with page design, clarity, and #seo #strategy. You don't want to ruin content with keyword stuffing. But there often are opportunities to naturally work in your primary keywords and close variations: ➢ Revise content headers(headlines) with relevant keywords and include h1 tags. ➢ Add captions with images. ➢ Add or update image alt text. ➢ Create internal links from other popular pages on your website. ➢ Add more text to thin pages that have few words. ➢ Pursue inbound links from other websites. 3. CREATE NEW CONTENT (AND REVISE IT OVER TIME) When you create new content based on your priority keywords, you have several advantages with an #seo marketing #strategy. An existing page may rank 20th for a keyword, but a new page may rank third. Work the keyword phrase into the #seo page title, content header, image, image alt text, etc. All sorts of keyword phrases can be triggered by the content you create. You may have a couple keywords in mind. But a few months later, analyze that page through semrush and you may see other keywords for which that page ranks well. #digitalmarketing #Business #AffiliateMarketing #AffiliateMarketing can be thought of as outsourced #Marketing, in which you're hiring affiliates who are paid to bring you customers. if they drive visitors to your website, you don't have to pay them. you only pay them if they convert visitors into customers. while you are trying to generate traffic as a marketer, the main goal is to increase the number of customers. if you generate a million visitors a month, but the visitors don't equate to more leads or revenue, it's almost useless. this is why the #AffiliateMarketing space is so popular, especially in the web hosting industry, where most of their #Business is from affiliates. hi i'm cally from the international institute of digital #Marketing. here's how #AffiliateMarketing works: 1. affiliate is assigned a tracking url: this is to track which affiliates are driving your traffic. 2. affiliate markets your company: affiliates can promote your company through several different ways: paid traffic (like google ads), a youtube video of the product and link to it with the affiliate id, email blast, blog post, reviewing products, etc. the possibilities are endless. when you sign up affiliates, you should also limit how they can promote it. 3. customers or leads are acquired: this is when the visitor purchases the product or signs up. 4. affiliate receives a commission: when the affiliate drives you a customer or lead, you pay them out. advantages of #AffiliateMarketing there are a number of advantages to using #AffiliateMarketing, especially for startups: ● pay only for results. ● affiliates may be better at creating copy and reaching segments ● you know your cost per acquisition this will help you determine if you're actually losing or making money. ● you almost never lose money drawbacks of #AffiliateMarketing there are also drawbacks: ● you don't control the message ● lead quality may not be as good ● if mismanaged your traffic may come from an unreputable source. this could make your brand look bad. for more information, visit www.iidm.world #contentmarketing #digitalmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #business #marketingdigital #branding #seo #instagram #onlinemarketing #advertising #digital #entrepreneur #contentmarketing #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketingagency #marketingtips #follow #smallbusiness #design #bhfyp #webdesign #like #photography #graphicdesign #content #art #fashiondigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingagency #digitalmarketingsalary #whatisadigitalmarketing #digitalmarketingcompanies #digitalmarketingjobs #digitalmarketingcertificate #digitalmarketingcompany #digitalmarketingcourse #digitalmarketingservices #digitalmarketingstrategy #marketingdigital #digitalmarketingconsultant #digitalmarketingagencynearme #googledigitalmarketingcertification #digitalmarketingmanager #digitalmarketinginternship #digitalmarketinginstitute --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/iidmusa/message

HOW TO USE HASHTAGS ON YOUTUBE

: #Hashtag #Youtube #Socialmedia #Hashtags for #Youtube have evolved over the past several years. It's now easier for content creators to classify their videos and make them more discoverable, and it's simpler for viewers to find the content they want. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's what you need to know about #Hashtags for #Youtube. #Youtube imposes rules for #Hashtags #Youtube makes it very clear that #Hashtags “… are not promises or guarantees for success.” It's not enough just to add some #Hashtags to your video's description or title. You must also be aware of #Youtube's #Hashtag rules and community guidelines. The primary rule of #Youtube video #Hashtags is only to use #Hashtags related to your video's topic. Follow #Youtube's community guidelines Like other social media sites, #Youtube has community guidelines to protect its users. These guidelines apply to all of the content on its platform, including video #Hashtags. There are four main groups of policies: 1. Spam and deceptive practices 2. Sensitive content 3. Violent or dangerous content 4. Regulated goods Following these guidelines for #Hashtags will prevent your video from being removed and you from being kicked off the platform. #Hashtags may affect audience retention If someone watches a video from another content creator with the same #Hashtag, the viewer may click the #Hashtag and be directed away from that video. You may experience the same problem. A curious viewer might look for related content by clicking the #Hashtag attached to your video. This action lowers your audience retention. To combat this issue, use branded #Hashtags to ensure viewers find your content, and try to use related applicable #Hashtags across multiple videos, so yours continue to come up in results. You can't own a #Hashtag Creating a #Hashtag doesn't give you ownership. Yes, you can apply to trademark #Hashtags, but approval isn't a given. Rules about trademarking #Hashtags vary from country to country, so check your jurisdiction. Even if you do trademark a #Hashtag, you can't expect to have exclusive use of it. There's nothing to stop other #Youtube creators from using #Hashtags you've created—even if they're trademarked. 5 TIPS FOR PROMOTING YOUR GREAT CONTENT WITH ADVERTISING

#content #advertising #marketing Great #content is a tremendous asset to any business. Using paid #content to promote your #content #marketing across search, display, and social media networks will allow you to capture a significant volume of otherwise unreached prospects and help them turn into customers. Hi, I'm Cally, from the International Institute of Digital #marketing. Here are five tips to make sure your paid #content promotion strategy is built for success. 1. Select the right #content to promote While all of the #content you create should be useful, informative, and interesting, this becomes especially true as you begin to invest #advertising dollars to generate #content visibility. Gated #content like free guides and white papers are great for this kind of promotion, as it provides a benefit that is valuable enough to get visitors to provide their contact information in exchange for your #content. 2. Select the right network for promotion You can create great #content specifically for a network, or you can choose a network and create relevant #content for it. Certain #content will resonate better with users on certain social media networks, so try to put yourself in the shoes of the user and think about what #content interests you based on what network you use. 3. Decide on useful measures of success (KPIs) Using great #content to drive direct response-form completions can be a powerful source of business leads. By working backwards you should be able to calculate exactly what each lead type is worth to you and how much you should be paying for a lead. KPIs don't have to be limited to cost-per-lead, but should provide information about your #content #marketing ROI. 4. Create compelling ad copy A major factor in the overall effectiveness of your paid #advertising campaign is ad copy. Generally, the higher your click-through rate, the less you'll pay for each click. Testing, retesting, and then testing again is an absolute must. Your ad copy should provide a clear message, a killer call-to-action, and a relevant, eye-catching image (if applicable). 5. Design your landing page with your KPIs in mind The landing page of a paid ad campaign is possibly the most important piece of your ad campaign and is too often the most neglected. No matter what the goal of your campaign is — e.g., leads, sales, phone calls, video views, etc. — your page should be optimized to drive that specific action. CONTENT IS NOT THE SAME AS CONTENTMARKETING

#Contentmarketing #Content #contentmarketing is about attracting an audience to an experience (or “destination”) that you own, build, and optimise to achieve your marketing objectives. Content is everywhere. There's product content, sales #content, customer service #content, event #content, employee-generated #content, marketing and campaign #content. Even advertising is content. Hi, i'm cally, from theinternational institute of digital marketing. Here's how to go about . 1. Determine your #contentmarketing mission statement It should support your brand mission and put your customers at the centre. Define who your target audience is, what topic or topics you support, and what value you provide for your audience. 2. Pick a url Consider whether your #contentmarketing destination should be your company's brand domain(www.yourcompany.com) or on an unbranded site. For example, e-commerce solutions provider bigcommerce shows small retailers the basics in online shopping functionality, conversion optimization, digital marketing, and customer experience through a simple blog url on the same domain: 3. Determine how branded your site will be Similar to the earlier point, this is different in terms of branding. An on-domain content site should contain at least some elements of your corporate brand. 4. Think about the components of an effective #contentmarketing destination Your site should include all the components typically included on any publisher site such as: ➢ Categories across the top to show what topics you cover. ➢ Articles published frequently with visible authors and publication dates. ➢ Visuals to support the topic and break up the text. ➢ Strong focus on growing your owned audienceby including calls to subscribe in your updates. ➢ Highlights of top-performing content so readers can easily discover your best #content. ➢ Calls to action, an offer, or contact-us page for those who want to reach you directly. ➢ Social-sharing options so your readers can easily help promote your best #content. #seo #Contentwriting #seotips #seo writing is the process of researching, outlining, creating, and optimizing content to rank for a target keyword in google and other search engines. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. Here's a 3‑step approachto writing for #seo 1. Find a business-relevant keyword with traffic potential Begin by identifying a topic that's relevant to the business you're writing for. Think of what people might type into google to find your product or service: this is your seed keyword. Start your research by adding the seed keyword into a tool like ahrefs' keyword explorer and use the questions report to find keyword ideas phrased as questions. 2. Determine search intent Once you have a primary keyword with good traffic potential, you need to understand what people who search for it want. This is known as search intent, and if your content doesn't match it, google is unlikely to rank it high. You can determine which pages best fit the intent behind a keyword by looking at the top-ranking results in the serp and identifying what we call the 3 cs of search intent: content type, content format, and content angle. 3. Determine the subtopics you need to cover At this point, you have a strong primary keyword and know the type, format, and angle of the content you're going to write. Keep your researcher hat on a little longer: you're now going to investigate the top-ranking pages (your ‘competitors' for this keyword) and the serp to determine the subtopics you need to cover. #business #rankings #visibility Google My #business is a free tool that allows #business owners to create, manage and optimizetheir Google #business Profile. It exists to help #businesses attract new customers from search and maps. Hi, I'm Cally, from the International Institute of Digital Marketing. Here's how to optimize your #business Profile through Google My #business 1. Get more reviews Reviews are getting more important for local map-pack #rankings. And Google themselves state that “high-quality, positive reviews from your customers can improve your #business #visibility and increase the likelihood that a shopper will visit your location.” But how do you actually get reviews? Ask customers. If you interact face to face with customers and feel that they had a positive experience, ask them to leave a review. Create and share a review link. Many customers don't know how to leave Google reviews. Google knows this, which is why they give all #businesses the option to create a shareable review link. Find it in Google My #business > Home > Get more reviews. Create “leave a review” cards. Have physical cards printed that thank customers for their #business and prompt them to leave a review. Include your shortened review link or a QR code to make things easy. Include your review link in your email signature. If you communicate with customers by email, this is a great passive way to earn more reviews. 2. Answer questions Many #businesses don't keep on top of Google My #business questions, leaving it up to others to provide answers. That's rarely ideal and often results in customers seeing misleading or inaccurate information about your #business. Take a proactive approach with questions and answers, and there are two ways to do that: Turn on questions and answers notifications. Get alerts whenever someone asks a question about your #business, then answer immediately. Provide answers to FAQs upfront. Most websites have an FAQ page with answers to common questions. You can ask and provide answers to these questions yourself on your Google listing. 3. Post updates Posts let you share updates, offers, and events related to your #business. Think of them as status updates. They show up in a carouselnear the bottom of your Google #business panel. Google also occasionally showcases relevant posts in ‘map pack' results, which in turn will improve your SEO. 4. Set up messages Enabling messaging adds a button to your Google #business listing so searchers can message you directly. To enable this feature, download the Google My #business app for iOS or Android. From there, log in to your Google account, go to the Customers tab, then the Messages tab, then hit the option to turn on messaging. #youtube #Content #Seo Hi, I'm Cally, From the International Institute of Digital Marketing. 1. Target topics that people are searching for Create videos about the topics that people are searching for and rank in #youtube search. How do you find these topics? Use our free #youtube Keyword tool. Just enter any topic, and it'll show you up to 150 keywords and their estimated monthly search volumes. 2. Keep your channel's theme tight Just because people are searching for something doesn't necessarily mean that you should make a video about it. That isn't good for two reasons: They'll unsubscribe. If this happens, what's the point in getting subscribers in the first place? They'll mess with our video's engagement. Dislikes, negative comments, short watch times—expect all this and more if your subscribers don't like your video. 3. Give people what they're looking for A good #youtube video is one that serves the viewer's wants and needs. How do you know what your viewers want? For some topics, it's pretty straightforward. A topic like “how to make scrambled eggs” means viewers want a tutorialon making scrambled eggs. For other topics, it's not that straightforward. To figure that out, enter that topic into #youtube and see what's ranking. If #youtube is overwhelmingly ranking a specific video format then you'll almost certainly need to create something similar to stand a chance at ranking. 4. Double down on formats that work The reality is that your subscribers only care about your main focus, so using new formats could cause people to unsubscribe. While this doesn't mean you shouldn't experiment with new formats, it's a reminder that once you've found one that works, stick with it. #Metakeywords #Metatags ##Seo #Metakeywords are #Metatags that you can use to give search engines more information about a page's content. They're found in a webpage's HTML source code, and are not visible to visitors. Hi, I'm Cally, from the International Institute of Digital Marketing. Here are some use cases for #Metakeywords 1. Create an internal tagging system Many CMS' and website builders make it easy to add #Metakeywords to pages, as do many free WordPress #SEO plugins. This makes it easy to ‘repurpose' the tag for an internal keyword tagging system. Just set the tag as your target keyword on each page. There are three reasons it can be useful to do this: Help prevent keyword cannibalization. Keyword cannibalization is where a website targets the same keyword across multiple pages. It can cause all kinds of issues, like undesirable pages outranking desirable pages. Avoid overlapping work. If you work in enterprise #SEO, there are probably many people and teams working on similar things. Having an internal keyword tagging system helps prevent multiple teams from targeting the same keyword. Find collaboration opportunities. If you see that you're not ranking well for one of your keywords, you might want to collaborate with another team to improve and update your content. 2. Find ‘seed' keywords from competitors Bill Slawski's recent Twitter poll shows that roughly 33% of people still use the keywords meta tag. As some of those people will undoubtedly be your competitors, this can come in quite handy for finding ‘seed keywords' during keyword research. Just look for the keywords meta tag on your competitor's homepage. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital marketing. How do you interact with writers, editors, and journalists on #twitter? Step 1: optimize your #twitter account Ensure that your #twitter display name, bio, etc., are complete. Follow these best practices: ➢ Include your full name or a combination of your name and initials. ➢ Detail professional and personal information in your bio. Get creative. Be relatable. ➢ Your timeline is an opportunity for you to share your personality. When you reach out to writers and editors, they're likely to check your timeline before responding. ➢ Include a photo of yourself and update your header image. The more someone recognizes you, the more trustworthy you appear to be. Step 2: create #twitter lists #twitter lists can be a powerful tool. You can track a list of contacts who have responded favorably to your outreach, accepted your pitches, or published your content. Keeping them organized in a list allows you to pay closer attention to their activity, which can help you build better relationships over time. You also can create a list of writers and editors with whom you'd like to have a relationship and interact with them organically, laying the groundwork for developing a deeper connection. Step 3: interact organically with writers, editors, and freelancers You can spark a relationship on #twitter in many ways. The key is to be authentic. Be yourself. It will work wonders in the long run. Interact with a writer a day or two before you send your pitch. They have time to see your name and avatar come up on their #twitter notifications. #Keywords #Digitalmarketing #Blogging If your competitors have done keyword research and found topics that you missed, they've done the hard work for you. You can find new and valuable #Keywords just by running a competitive keyword analysis. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of #Digitalmarketing. Let's look at how you should be doing your keyword competitor analysis. 1. Find competitors Even if you already have an idea who your business competitors are, it's important to know that business competitors aren't always the same as your search competitors. When looking for relevant and valuable topics to cover, it's better to analyze the latter. Three simple ways to find online competitors are: A) run a google ‘related' search B) find websites with overlapping #Keywords C) find sites ranking for valuable #Keywords 2. Use a content gap tool Content gap tools find #Keywords that other websites rank for, but you don't. Here's the process for ahrefs' content gap tool: ● Plug your website into ahrefs' site explorer and go to the content gap tool. ● Enter your competitors' below where it says “show #Keywords that the below targets rank for.” ● Hit “show #Keywords” to see the results. If there are too many #Keywords to sift through or they look mostly irrelevant, play around with the number of intersections to see #Keywords that only a certain number of competitors rank for. 3. Look for valuable topics It's unlikely that you'll want to rank for everything your competitors are ranking for. Here are three things to consider when choosing #Keywords. A) business value Business value is a score that represents the “value” a keyword has to a business. It's ultimately a judgement call. Just ask yourself how likely searchers are to want to buy what you sell. The more likely this is, the higher the ‘business value' of the keyword. B) search volume Search volume is the average number of monthly searches for a keyword. As a general rule, the higher a keyword's search volume, the higher the traffic potential of the topic. In the content gap report, there's a column for search volume next to the keyword. C) organic traffic potential Looking at traffic to the top-ranking pagesis a far more reliable way to judge the traffic potential of a keyword than search volume. Always check this before making the final decision whether to go after a keyword. To do this in the content gap tool, just hit the serp button and check the traffic column. Align your visual story with your #contentmarketing strategy Like any #contentmarketing format, you should have a compelling rationale for communicating with your audience through visual storytelling, as well as a clear plan for turning views into meaningful marketing results. A thoughtfully focused strategy can mean the difference between success and failure. 2. Know the rules of good design By following the few basic design principles even graphically challenged marketers can learn to craft imagery that both draws the eye and drives the conversation forward. To give your visuals a bit of brand flair without sacrificing clarity, use simple fonts for the bulk of your copy, and reserve highly stylized fonts for use in large headers. 3. Don't be afraid to get emotional Some of the most memorable visual experiences are those that found a way to tap into the power of emotion. 4. Avoid generic stock images Using professional photographers and high-powered camera equipment is one way to approach quality image creation, as their talents and capabilities can often help your brand tell richer and more compelling stories. 5. Repurpose information and insights as visuals Content marketers can adapt their most popular written or audio content into compelling visuals – including data-driven formats like infographics, charts, or checklists. Not only is it an excellent way to draw fresh attention to your evergreen content, but it also helps make your brand's insights more digestible, memorable, and shareable. 4 Useful Marketing Skills

#marketing #Skills #Seo #Contentmarketing There's always a debate about what #Skills marketers should learn. Is there one right or wrong answer? It depends on the #marketing roleyou're in and what #Skills you picked up along the way that helped. Hi, i'm cally, from the international institute of digital #marketing. Let's look at some of these #Skills. 1. Copywriting Working in digital #marketing means it's almost impossible to avoid writing. Whether you're creating a blog post, a tweet, ad copy, or scripting a video, you're writing. So, if you're unable to capture and hold someone's attention via your words, your #marketing campaigns will always be less effective than they could be. People won't click your facebook ad, will abandon your blog posts, and ignore your tweets. That's why learning how to write well is so important. 2. Content marketing #Contentmarketing is hot today. So, why is #Contentmarketing popular? A few reasons: It nurtures and converts leads. Most people don't buy immediately. Instead, they go on a “journey”—they search around, read reviews, consume content and talk to other people. #Contentmarketing helps you match each stage of this journey. It educates potential customers. Customers are better-positioned to buy your product if they know how to use it to fix their problems. #Contentmarketing solves this. 3. Search engine optimization (#Seo) Learning #Seo has skyrocketed our understanding of #Contentmarketing. Rather than running aimlessly on the content creation hamster wheel and trying to get more traffic by publishing more, #Seo is about how to create evergreen content that gets passive traffic over time. Plus, #Seo-driven #Contentmarketing is often cheaper in the long-term. 4. Networking “it's not what you know, it's who you know that matters.” Most people loathe to admit it, but it's true. People want to work with people they know and trust. And networking is a shortcut for that process. Don't Forget These 4 Tips to Get More Search Traffic

#Searchtraffic #Socialmedia #Marketing You need to dig deeper into #Search engine optimization to get your site's content and all the traffic it's capable of getting. Hi, I'm Cally, from the International Institute of Digital #Marketing. Let's look at four often overlooked techniques step by step. Tip 1: Make sure your pages are indexed A page needs to be in Google's index to appear in its results. The index is like a gigantic database of all the webpages in the world. How do you find out whether Google has indexed your page? You can check for individual URLs through the cache method or your overall site with the Google #Search Console option. Tip 2: Improve your click-through rate (CTR) If your page looks uninviting in the #Search results, most people will scroll down and click on a competing page. But if your title tag and meta description are enticing, they'll click on yours. Your meta description tag should summarize your piece and engage the #Searcher to click to read more. Don't default to the first sentence of your content.. Tip 3: Reduce your click-back rate Just as you want to increase the number of people who like the look of your page enough to click on the link, you also want to reduce the number who click but return quickly to the #Search results. A high rate signals to Google that the #Searcher's needs weren't met when viewing your content. To reduce your click-back rate and to improve your dwell time, make sure your page: ➢ Satisfies the #Searcher's intent. ➢ Delivers on the promise your title and meta description make. Tip 4: Add more internal links to your pages Getting backlinks to your site from a third party is a great SEO move. But what about internal links? Visitors click on these internal links to see other related content on your site. The linking words in the text help Google better understand what your pages are about. If you frequently link to a particular page, Google will see the page as an important one, perhaps a pillar content page.
