    Brad began his career as an US Army Ranger with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and saw combat in 1993 at the Battle of Mogadishu before taking the 'long walk' and becoming an operator with 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment–Delta (1st SFOD-D)and ultimately retiring with twenty years of service. Brad's love as being a musician started early in his childhood. After setting that aside for most of his Army career, he found peace by playing in his darkest times and after separation he decided to use his talents as a way to give back to the special operations community. In May 2017 he and Jason Everman (former member of Nirvana who was also an Army Ranger and Delta Force Operator) decided to form the band Silence and Light and donate all of their proceeds to nonprofits supporting veterans. In 2003, the U.S. General designated as the Combined Forces Coalition Commander personally requested Reese to be his primary advisor for the integration of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) for the Iraq invasion.     Ryan Hendrickson is a Special Forces Engineer in the U.S. Army. Ryan transferred over to the Army in 2008 after completing enlistments in both the Navy and Air Force. He has many military deployments including Iraq, Afghanistan, and several South and Central American countries. In 2010, while serving as an 18C on his first deployment as a Green Beret, he survived an IED blast. He recalls, “my tib and my fib were poking out and I looked over, and my boot was probably about six inches away from me.” He was able to have a new procedure performed on his leg which allowed him to return to active duty, deploying in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 and earning him a Silver Star for his heroics on one particular mission. He's served on multiple deployments, including with the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), and has attended and graduated from SERE400, Static Line Jumpmaster Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Military Freefall Course, and Military Freefall Jumpmaster Course, FAA Senior Rigger course, Joint Airdrop Load inspector, and USPA Tandem Instructor. Josh is currently assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as a full-time member of the USASOC Parachute Demonstration Team known as the "Black Daggers".     Chief Master Sergeant Stefan Blazier "Blaze" is currently the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 37th Training Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He is the primary advisor to the commander on all matters affecting training, performance, discipline, safety, readiness, and health of more than 18,000 students and permanent party Airmen. The Wing encompasses 9 wing staff agencies, three groups, and one Inter-American academy that operates from 10 geographically separated locations.     Rick Hogg is a 29-year US Army Special Operation Combat Veteran with 13 combat deployments, in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In this episode Rick sits down with Robert and talks about his time as a Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat instructor in the early GWOT days, becoming a K9 handler while in 7th Special Forces Group, and his time as an instructor at Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) at Camp Mackall during the "750 ramp up" when the Army was attempting to maintain a steady state of 750 new Special Forces soldiers a year when the years leading up to this period produced around 238 Special Forces graduates a year.
