After serving in the military for any length of time, veterans suffer from multiple ailments due to prolonged stress on the body. Combine that with Post traumatic stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) from those who have experienced combat and it’s easy to understand why veterans are seeking alternative approaches outside of pharmaceutical products to help them heal. Natural phytocannabinoid supplements, such as hemp-derived Isolate Cannabidiol (CBD) or Full Spectrum CBD products, contain either no detectable levels of THC or up to .3% THC and are often used to help veterans through some of their ailments. UnCanna is a Veteran owned and operated hemp phytocannabinoid (CBD) advocacy, education, and sales company operating out of Denver, Colorado. They are vertically integrated, from seed to sale, with true industry leaders, allowing them to provide the highest quality products on the market and remain a leading, trusted voice of advocacy in the Veteran community. The resources he shares are excellent. Here’s most of what we cover in this episode: •  how an English degree and a job in real estate helped him find copywriting •  what he did to recover from losing almost everything and how that still impacts how he spends his time today •  what he learned from real estate sales and how that’s made him a better writer •  what he did to find clients as a new copywriter and the #1 thing that reallymade a difference •  how you get yourself in the right room with the right people •  what he learned as a copy cub for one of the world’s best copywriters •  what you can do right now to be a better copywriter (you may not want to do this) •  how he keeps his copywriting skills sharp today •  how Paul finds big ideas playing around on the internet all day long •  how he structures his projects today (and his advice about retainers) •  how he deals with failures That’s a lot of hows and whats—and every one of them is worth the listen. Emily Hills began her U.S. Army career as a wheel vehicle mechanic and recovery vehicle operator. While serving in combat, she saw the important role the AH-64 Apache helicopters played in support of ground forces and knew then that is what she wanted to do. She shares her story of being a soldier on the ground, becoming a pilot, and the passion she has now for saving boots on the ground from enemy combatants as an Apache pilot. James Webb and Paul Martinez are Army Rangers and joined Kat, Robert, and Mike as guest hosts on this episode. We talk about women in combat and the effect women pilots have on ground troops in a combat "hot" situation. En Mai fais ce qu'il te plaît! (2014 Edition)  French Proverb which literally means " In May do what pleases you"..    Every year, on my birthday, I put something together .. for myself.. It does not infer that this set is in anyway better or that the tunes are "special" just that I know I will want to enjoy it later on day most probably in hotel room or on the plane or god forbid maybe walking or running somewhere.. Set may not be as polished as other uploads or may contain tracks I have used before. I may just have wanted to hear different cuts or indulge in some gratuitous Xtian’s trademarks vocal edits, who knows? It is first and foremost for ME !! I won’t wax lyrical on it, I have dozen of similar sets that will never see the light of day. Sometimes because they are simply not good enough or because I got bored along the line (“God is a DJ” springs to mind). This one, because I played with it around my birthday, gets to be published. A deep, indie, progressive offer, very much the sound I feel comfortable with currently. One last word on my birthday.. Best present ever was to see my kids, niece and nephew dance crazy to the Fade/Your’ve Got the Love edits of my last live set.. For 3 to 11 years old to have a dance to tunes like that just proves that if you do not give them crap, they enjoy good music all the same..   Playlist:     2013 Come On Now Set It Off (Original Mix). Tube & Berger feat. Juliet Sikora 2014 For Now (Original Mix) [Xtian Lil' Edit]. Time Takers  2014 Red Light (Giom Remix). Giom           2014 Much Better (Original Mix). Saccao, Rafael Cerato 2013 Everybody Loves (Monte Remix). Phil & Dan            2014 Canto Del Pilon(Nora En Pure Remix). Milk & Sugar feat. Maria Marquez  2013 It Really Hurts (Original Edit). The Peacemaker Project 2013 Somebody’s Face (Jelly for the Babies Remix) [Xtian House Music Edit feat Papa Joe Aviance]. Paul Martinez, Fiddler 2012 Rule The World (Haroun Hickman Remix). Rashid Ajami     2013 Mirage (Tvardovsky Remix) [Xtian The One Botched Mash feat FK and the Shapeshifters].Vanilla Ace 2013 Someday (Original Mix). Gabriel Rocca, Raul Caulddeira     2013 BIG Fun (Full Intention Remix). Inner City     2013 Hold You (Depaack  Flower of Life Remix). KANT   2014 I'll Take You (Richard Earnshaw Re-Beat Edit). Jon Cutler        Highlights:  I won’t go overboard with this section. One common thread is the immaculate production of ALL the tracks. If you do not have a good sound system, this set requires good headphones..  Love the first track “Come On Now Set if Off”.. It has swag very much what Tube & Berger are all about. The Giom jam “Red Light” is probably the best track of the lot. I love “Canto del Pilon” and can’t wait to see the reaction of my kids to this one.. I very rarely touch Latin rhythms. I hope they will get it. “It Really Hurts” needs a mention for the subtlety of the production and the very distinct Dido feel to it. Pre-emptive apologies for the “Mirage” mash-up. I am sure someone with talent could do better but it is my birthday after all.. “Big Fun”, Kevin Saunderson, Inner City .. House royalty.. and if any Dl is reading this.. it begs to be mixed n with Touch me in the morning.. I did not do because it would have taken the set to another direction but it will work, trust me..   That’s it.   Not quite sure what will come next. Sexy house or a progression towards Trance.   Enjoy   A bientôt   Xtian
