Spotify wasn't feeling 1 Hour of Alive 2020 Vibes (mentioned in my last episode) so I had to re-upload a shortened version with a Psalms 23 remix (featuring Isaiah 40:28-31). The music used is a portion of the instrumental for the song "Alive 2020" by Darak iBar, featured on 7trumpetz: The Album. All Praise and Glory to The Most High forever! Be encouraged! "Yahuah is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the cycles of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of Yahuah forever." PSALMS 23 "Have you not known? have you not heard, that Elohai Olam, Yahuah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon Yahuah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Faction Cannot Prevail (6)  (audio)  David Eells – 7/19/23    (A word by faith at random that I thought best reflected this whole correction): Isa 1:10 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. Correction is necessary but also offers of grace to those who will repent like Lot did. To any who confesses their sins God will give grace and we offer our complete help and love to set the captives free. Don't tarry wrath is on the way.)   Backstabbing Deception Anonymous – (David's notes in red) I dreamt that David had received a message that the satanic faction leader was sending text messages to the children. (The demons in Kevin C. Rea, have taught his understudies to send slander in ways that do not implicate them or him as the culprit. They have sites with slander that did not identifying the slanderer but we know who it originally comes from, Kevin C. Rea. Why do they hide and back stab? For instance when Eve was captured by their witchcraft and voodoo and Michael and I were casting the demons out we recognized Kevin's voice and slander. These were slanderous lies that Eve never believed before he injected her with his demons.) It was dark out and David was showing people these messages from the Satan faction to the children before the faction could delete their messages. (We already know where it comes from and we are declassing him now.) The person who showed David these messages was someone in the backseat of a red parked car. I don't know exactly who it was, but I believe it was a man. (An insider telling the story of Kevin C. Rea's backstabbing treachery.) The message that the factious leader (Kevin) was specifically sending out to deceive the children was "I'm going to teach you how to be in secret and I'm going to teach you how to hide." I knew they were trying to show his spiritual children how to be deceptive and undetectable in their faction to deceive others, so that he and they wouldn't be found out. (Why does he have to hide? What is he afraid of ? Here is a short list. Because the lie would be refuted when brought into the light and the witnesses would speak truth against him. The Lord had us record and text some of the testimonies of his victims.  We didn't know why. We found out It was because he planned to kill them with witchcraft to cover up his sins but in quite a few cases this failed. He sent a witch to kill Sandy by dropping a curse in her house but she killed her moma instead that night. I asked the Lord why he permitted this.  He said, “Because she wanted to come home to me and I wanted them to be guilty.” Why does he hide? Jesus said, this is your hour; the hour of darkness. The factious Pharisees had to hide their evil works for fear of the people.  Because Kevin knows what proof we have on him and his satanists and doesn't want it known he has to hide. Why does he have to hide?  I told him that the many, many, places that the words “factious leader” are found on our site would have his name Kevin C. Rea there instead. Other dreams that we have and never posted would be there too like dreams of his perversion and death among others. He threatened me saying, I will sue you!! I told him, Try it.. but as you know dreams are not illegal nor are the witnessed fulfillments of them. Also when he took over Eve, she helped him delete dreams against him from my computer. But we were way ahead of him and have them all on thumb drives, hard drive copies, and my old computer that he thought went bad when he hacked it but I just kept it off line so he couldn't hack it again. He spent almost 2 weeks editing our dreams that Eve had filed for us when she left and we didn't bother them because we can now show from my own copies, what he did illegally when he gave our stolen “intellectual property” back because he feared the law. He was unhappy to find that out.   Also Eves dreams that she thought I deleted, I did not but Michael and I put them on thumb drives.  I didn't tell her because she was in and out of faction. I noticed how shocked she looked when I told her I still had them. That was a dead giveaway she had been taken out. But the Lord showed us the captive would be set free. He and his thieves came by here in the middle of the night to try to break into a closet that had a window to the outside. But when they came by the window had become a solid wall with no window.  Aint God good!! He traps them in their foolishness over and over. Plus we identified the satanist he sent to the house. His second in command even stared through my bedroom window right into my face wondering if he really was seeing what he saw, which was me. Michael saw the other one. The one I saw became an ugly girl and turned his pretty girl into a boy. Satanists always do incest with their children so they can impart perverse spirits by injection. And then we moved everything out of the house they want so badly. Kevin taught this ugly girl guy how to call our women up in the middle of the night, oh and the local college girls too.  Why do they hide? They are perverts. Kevin tried to seduce one of our youngest girls to run away with him. Pedophilia is not above him. Our sister Amber was contacted by these two perverts in the middle of the night and was a witness to us. They sent cancer and killed her but God's plan is she is alive and knows everything now and they will soon find this out. What do they have to hide? We got complaints from a college girl contacted in the middle of the night several times but we told them that they don't belong to us. (They should have tried the pound.) Why does he hide? Kevin told one of our brethren that when he factioned out he was living in a house in Utah with a woman, her husband and another man.  I accused him to his face and he was shocked that I knew but he did not deny it. When he lost his mind after that he lost his job and apartment and couldn't do anything that took brains he stayed with us as we tried to pray him through this. One day I passed by as he was ogling the woman's picture on his computer, which he also put on Facebook temporarily. Kevin also knows I know the general and special forces that capture his kind and has them executed before they can capture and pervert anyone else. And I may have already contacted him??) He prides himself that he is smart but he leaves a trail like a hippo. This is just a few reasons Kevin has to fear the daylight. In the dream I saw a group gathered around David taking notes regarding what the faction was doing to hide themselves, as well as how to avoid and overcome them. One of the words I remember from someone's notebook was "striving." (Yes Lord!! We strive with the darkness with the armor of light and truth as we strive to enter in by the narrow door which the wicked cannot enter.) In the dream I seemed to recognize everyone, but they were not all from the local body (They were also from outreach and greater UBM as well.)  I knew that we were all going to pray and do warfare regarding this. End of dream. (Let us all do warfare against the satanic forces for God will set their captive women children and men free by your commands. Also that their hidden counsels will continue to be given to us. As Christians we owe them our personal forgiveness but governmental forgiveness that Jesus gave to His elders is withheld until there is repentance as in Luk 17:3.) Here we see God's opinion of the satanists in verses received by faith at random: Jude 1:14 (12-19 in context) These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved for ever. 14 And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaketh great swelling words), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage. 17 But ye, beloved, remember ye the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 that they said to you, In the last time there shall be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are they who make separations (Which is Faction), sensual, having not the Spirit. Another: Oba 1:17-18 ASV  But in mount Zion there shall be those that escape, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.  18  And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall burn among them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining to the house of Esau; for Jehovah hath spoken it. (All who do not repent will be destroyed.) Another: (Zec.14:2) For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished (These dogs and hyenas have certainly done this but nothing is hidden that will not be revealed.); and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Another: Psalms 94:1-23 O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: Render to the proud their desert. Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph? They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves. They break in pieces (faction and dismemberment) thy people, O Jehovah, And afflict thy heritage. They slay the widow and the sojourner, And murder the fatherless. And they say, Jehovah will not see, (Look at this revelation of them slandering and trying to stay hidden; did He not see, will He not judge?) Neither will the God of Jacob consider. Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, Even he that teacheth man knowledge? … That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit be digged for the wicked. (When the wicked have crucified the righteous they will be destroyed.) For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance. For judgment shall return unto righteousness; And all the upright in heart shall follow it. Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? (Those whose hearts you move to do so.) …Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, Which frameth mischief by statute? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood. But Jehovah hath been my high tower, And my God the rock of my refuge. And he hath brought upon them their own iniquity, And will cut them off in their own wickedness; Jehovah our God will cut them off. (Unless they repent.) Another: David's Psa 18:39-43 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.  40  Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, That I might cut off them that hate me.  41  They cried, but there was none to save; Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not.  … Another: Psa 28: 3  Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.  4  Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert.  5  Because they regard not the works of Jehovah, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up.   Another: Zep 3:14-20 ASV  Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.  15  Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: (He factioned the wicked out so their leaven would not leaven His body.) the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.  16  In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.   17  Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.  18  I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assembly, who were of thee; to whom the burden upon her was a reproach.   19  Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save that which is lame, and gather that which was driven away; and I will make them a praise and a name, whose shame hath been in all the earth.  20  At that time I will bring you in, and at that time I will gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring back your captivity before your eyes, saith Jehovah. (The captive exile shall speedily be released.) Another: Psa 14:1-7  A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.  2  Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.  3  They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.   4  Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah?  5  There were they in great fear; For God is in the generation of the righteous.  6  Ye put to shame the counsel of the poor, Because Jehovah is his refuge.  7  Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. Jer 29:15-31:34 Because ye have said, Jehovah hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;  (A prophet cannot be "in Babylon" for then he is a prophet of Babylon and not to be trusted. All prophets must have come out from among them like Jeremiah.) 16  thus saith Jehovah concerning the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and concerning all the people that dwell in this city, your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; (They rebelled against the Lord and went to Egypt to save themselves from Babylon because they had no faith in God. Many of them will die by the vaccine shots.)   17  thus saith Jehovah of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them (The Babylonian Christians) the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so bad.  18  And I will pursue after them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth, to be an execration, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them;  (This judgment will come upon the apostates and factious satanists who are part of the same dragon who seeks to devour the man-child and woman.) 19  because they have not hearkened to my words, (The satanists hate the word. Their leader Kevin, took down our site because we refused 4 times with witnesses to let him seduce a married woman. Apple said it was him that took down the site. They made war on our brethren who prepare the Word but failed for God is with us.) saith Jehovah, wherewith I sent unto them my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith Jehovah.  20  Hear ye therefore the word of Jehovah, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.   21  Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who prophesy a lie unto you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes; (We have been told by the Lord that our factious satanists and their leader Kevin will be turned over to the DS destructions. Looking at him I would say it is happening. One of their women close to Kevin was taking up collections deceptively, as though she was still in UBM, for “a friend who had cancer”.)   22  and of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captives of Judah that are in Babylon, saying, Jehovah make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; (An angel in a dream burned down the satanist house of Kevin and Eddie when they were molesting a woman there.) 23  because they have wrought folly in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives (They are guilty of this), and have spoken words in my name falsely, which I commanded them not; and I am he that knoweth, and am witness, saith Jehovah. (We have heard Kevin's false words of knowledge that he fakes. After he killed his wife Holly because he kept not his word in front of witnesses and went against our success in bringing her through every problem by prayer and turned to witchcraft AKA pharmakeia.  After he had killed her, contrary to all our warnings from God, he called me saying, "David, I have a feeling everything is going to go south" when she had already died because of his witchcraft. This was witnessed. Then he called his gay factious friends that he always spoke with even when he was not supposed to be in faction, and told them that I killed her because they told me that as a threat because I caught 4 of them in the act of sodomy in an open vision and reported it to their leader. Michael saw he was guilty by the shock on his face.)  26… for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in the stocks and in shackles.   27  Now therefore, why hast thou not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who maketh himself a prophet to you,  28  forasmuch as he hath sent unto us in Babylon, saying, The captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them?  (I.e. Relax and enjoy Babylon's pleasures; don't come out from among them.) 29  And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.   …  31  …Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he hath caused you to trust in a lie;   32  therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed; he shall not have a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he behold the good that I will do unto my people…  30:1  The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,  …  3  For, lo, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.   (Possessing our promised land is spiritually synonymous with bearing the fruit of Christ in us, which the satanists feel no need of because they have no conscience of sin.)   4  And these are the words that Jehovah spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.  5  For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. (Trembling? Isa 32:10  For days beyond a year shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail,[no fruit of Christ] the ingathering [the name of the harvest] shall not come. [So no rapture but tribulation comes instead.] 11  Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.  6  Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child:(Our personal Man-child; Christ in you.) wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail (With the Man-child), and all faces are turned into paleness? (Because the new man arises as the flesh is dying.) 7  Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's (type of the Church) trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (Crucifixions bring about Christ in us.) 8  And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds; and strangers (The factious apostate strangers to the Kingdom.) shall no more make him their bondman;   9  but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David (representing Jesus in the Man-child reformers) their king, whom I will raise up unto them.  10  Therefore fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith Jehovah; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.  11  For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to save thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee (the wicked predators who have captured God's people around the world), but I will not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.   12  For thus saith Jehovah, Thy hurt is incurable, and thy wound grievous.  …14  All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not: for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased. (Those in captivity to the factious cruel enemy are there for their sins but when their chastening is over and they have repented they are freed to go to their homeland as their persecutors are destroyed.)  …16  Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that despoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. (The factions will be at the mercy of the plagues, sword and famine, of DS Babylon.)  17  For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; because they have called thee an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. (The factions have slandered Zion calling her a cult but everyone will know it is they who are the cult and the nastiest one at that.) 18  Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places; and the city shall be builded upon its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited after its own manner. (The people who rebuild the Kingdom will exercise authority over the apostates and factions as in history.)  19  And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.  20  Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me; and I will punish all that oppress them.  21  And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is he that hath had boldness to approach unto me? saith Jehovah. (The Man-child David's will reign and the kingdom will be restored in their hands and the factious Edomites conquered.)  22  And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.  23  Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, even his wrath, is gone forth, a sweeping tempest: it shall burst upon the head of the wicked.  24  The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall understand it. (So please repent quickly.) 31:1  At that time, saith Jehovah, will I be the God of all the families of Israel (A type of the Church), and they shall be my people. (And the Edomite factions will be in bondage. David put garrisons in their cities to control their evil ways.)  2  Thus saith Jehovah, The people that were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. (I.e. this will be before the tribulation that Zion will be built and the factious murderers of those in running for the Bride are conquered.) 3  Jehovah appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.  4  Again will I build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: again shalt thou be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.   …  6  For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the hills of Ephraim shall cry,  (Those once in apostacy will seek their true leadership and Lord.) Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto Jehovah our God.  7  For thus saith Jehovah, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Jehovah, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.   8  Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together (Representing those who have fruit and those in the process of bearing fruit.): a great company shall they return hither.  9  They shall come with weeping; and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way wherein they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first-born.   10  Hear the word of Jehovah, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off; and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.  11  For Jehovah hath ransomed Jacob (Representing the true Church of the called out ones.), and redeemed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.  12  And they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow unto the goodness of Jehovah… and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.   13  Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.  … 15  Thus saith Jehovah: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuseth to be comforted for her children, because they are not. (Kevin Herod killed her children with witchcraft and slander but the Lord will deliver them from his satanist cult.) 16  Thus saith Jehovah: Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears; for thy work shall be rewarded, saith Jehovah; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. (Notice the land of the enemy represents the spiritually dead since the Edomite factious leader Kevin Herod killed them. So this is a type of the resurrection from captivity to the factious who killed them. We have seen two types of this resurrection for those who are physically killed as in those resurrected when Jesus did and the Man-child does, and those resurrected from spiritual death under the factious satanists.)  17  And there is hope for thy latter end, saith Jehovah; and thy children shall come again to their own border. (The factious leadership will be shamed and destroyed from all their evil that will be revealed in the political realm and the religious realm.) 18  I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself (Apostates repenting) thus, Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a calf unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art Jehovah my God.  19  Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.  20  Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearneth for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah.   21  Set thee up waymarks, make thee guide-posts (The guide to the Kingdom is the Word of God that had been ignored.); set thy heart toward the highway (Of holiness), even the way by which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.  22  How long wilt thou go hither and thither, O thou backsliding daughter? for Jehovah hath created a new thing in the earth: A woman shall encompass a man. (The woman Church will follow Jesus in the Man-child as Israel did Moses through the wilderness.)  23  Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Yet again shall they use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity (out of the land of death): Jehovah bless thee, O habitation of righteousness, O mountain of holiness.  24  And Judah and all the cities thereof shall dwell therein together, the husbandmen, and they that go about with flocks.  25  For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.   … (The land that had become desolate because of sin will once again come to life.) 28  And it shall come to pass that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so will I watch over them to build and to plant, saith Jehovah.   29  In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge. (The curse of the fathers sins will not be imputed to the children.) 30  But every one shall die for his own iniquity: …  31  Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32  not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake (Just as the apostate Church has broken her covenant from their beginning.), although I was a husband unto them, saith Jehovah.   33  But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts (Which the Man-child body will do), and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  34  …for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more. (And they shall once again become one flock with one shepherd, our Lord!  All Praise to the Lord!)

In today's devotional, we're going to look at the role of meditation in hearing from God. Meditation for many reasons, seems to have found its way out of our Christian context. But the reality is that meditation has been central to our faith throughout its history. And the Bible is chocked full of encouragement to meditate on who God is, on his word, allowing space for God to fill in our daily lives.   May God reveal his heart for us to meditate as a central discipline of our faith. And may he empower us to make room for his presence in a meaningful way today. Our Scripture for today comes from Psalm 119:15, and today's worship is  All Praise by Sean Curran. -- Jesus' invitation in Matthew 11 to find real rest is for YOU.    First15's brand-new devotional book called Rhythms was written with you in mind.    Each day of this 28-day devotional invites you to break away from your normal rhythm of waking, eating, working, and sleeping to discover a spiritual rhythm that, when practiced, will lead you into a more vibrant, abundant life in every way that matters.   Jesus wasn't kidding when he said you can find rest in the midst of the craziness of life. He can give it to you, and Rhythms will guide you in that direction.   We'd love to send you a copy to say thanks for your donation of $25 or more today.   So please request your copy today at supportfirst15.org — and thank you for your donation to help create more content that helps more people connect with God each day!   https://first15.org/give/  https://first15.org/

More Than a Song - Discovering the Truth of Scripture Hidden in Today's Popular Christian Music

One of the main reasons listeners give for not reading the Bible for themselves is distraction. I'm right there with you. I can't tell you the number of times I pick up my phone to do something, and my notifications send me off on the trail of distraction that leads to forgetting what I wanted to do on my phone in the first place. Sean Curran's song "All Praise" reminds us to fix our eyes on God. This is to turn our attention to Him and His ways. Let's explore three Scripture areas that tell us what to fix our eyes on. In this episode, I discuss the following: Taking a B.I.T.E. out of Scripture – this week's Bible Interaction Tool Exercises include: Read in context Make a list Meditate on Scripture Passion Conferences and the longevity of them - Isaiah 26:8 A response to the public recitation of God's Word A previous episode on fixing our eyes - Episode 331 Fixing our eyes on Jesus - Hebrews 12:2 Noting the amount of unseen and unknown things people of faith persisted in - Hebrews 11 Seeing with Spiritual eyes - Hebrews 11:3 Making a list of things to do - Hebrews 12 The results of Jesus as our example Fixing our eyes on the commandments of God - Psalm 119:6-7 Making a list of reactions to God's Word - Psalm 119:1-8 The results of walking in, keeping, and seeking God's Word in your life Fixing our eyes on eternal, unseen things - 2 Corinthians 4:18 The veil of the Old Testament - Exodus 34 The veil of the New Testament - 2 Corinthians 3 The light of Christ causing us to see - 2 Corinthians 4:6 Jesus' teaching on how we gain sight - John 3   Your marching orders are to fix your eyes on the example of Christ, fix your eyes on the life giving Word of God, and don't get distracted by the things we can see, but rather fix our eyes on the unseen.   More Than a Song Playlist Additional Resources Lyrics - PassionMusic.com "All Praise" by Sean Curran chords and lyrics - WorshipTogether.com My new favorite Bible Study Software - Logos Bible Software Affiliate Link This Week's Challenge Read Hebrews 12, Psalm 119, and 2 Corinthians 4 in context. Thankfulness in Difficulty // Abundant Gratitude in Lack Three Fruits of Thankfulness 1.      Protected from Impurity But among you, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. [Ephesians 5:3-4] a)     Gratitude and Greed cannot coexist  b)     “Gratitude looks to the past, and love to the present; fear, greed, lust, and ambition look ahead.” - C.S. Lewis 2.      An Uplifted Heart How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed over him," lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:1-6 3.      A more Enjoyable Person to be Around   Pastor: And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 ALL: Lord God, our hearts overflow with gratitude! Thank you for life, it is such a beautiful gift! Father, it's clear to us that when we choose to go our own way, we end up in darkness and despair. Mature us, Lord! Teach us to stay close to you. Pastor:God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your Word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing.  You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your Word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from.  True to your Word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I'm not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd's crook makes me feel secure. You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies.  You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I'm back home in the house of God for the rest of my life. Psalms 23:1-6 (MSG)  ALL: Yes, Lord, we agree with your Word. You are our good shepherd, leading us and having everything we need each day.   Pastor:In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5 ALL:You, God, were not content to leave us in our sin and filth, so You came and made your home with us! You are the one who was and is and is to come. Your light shines brightly in the darkness and the darkness will never overcome it, Let your light shine in and through us! Pastor:Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 ALL:The Lord is our strength and shield; our hearts trust in him, and we are helped. Our hearts leap for joy and we will give thanks to him in song. (Psalm 28:7) We will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness, and we will sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High. (Psalm 17:7) Pastor: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 And whatever you do, whether in Word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ALL:Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name, not forgetting to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased.  (Hebrews 13:15-16) Pastor: Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 ALL: Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!" (Revelation 7:12b) Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  (1 Corinthians 15:57) Pastor: Thank you, God, for your everlasting kindness toward us. Jesus, thank you for the gift of your life on the cross. You opened the way back into a relationship with you. Holy Spirit, teach us to walk humbly and to love the things you love, modeling the father's heart to everyone we meet and declaring your gospel everywhere in everything we do and say.  ALL: Amen!

Have you ever felt the intense squeeze of life when you experience stress, fear, a bad moment, or a not so good day? Maybe you've had a not so good week and that squeeze of life feels like you are walking in a fog and you need that ray of light to shine through? I can't promise you that this episode will be it for you ---- but I hope it points your compass to the direction of the light that is greater than any encouraging word I have for you. In fact, you all are in for a special treat ---- a little ray of sunshine in the midst of your day! My twelve year old daughter brings her light of encouragement to the table with us! Before bed the other night, I asked her what her thoughts were on --- How Great is Our God? And the things she was unpacking were SO amazing, that I had to have her come on and share with us her perspective! Believe me, I did not even know the things she was about to say, it had my mouth dropped and encouraged! I pray and hope this is a blessing to you all! And as you think about how great our God is this week, try these things when you feel the dark clouds moving in. 1. Remind yourself of His Word --- THE truth, the way, the light, from a verse or testimony from the Bible. The Bible is God's way of comforting us and helping us through the valleys and circumstances we face. To know that He promises to pursue us with His goodness and faithful love for all our days. (Psalm 23) 2. Praise Him. He is Worthy of ALL Praise. How has God been great to you in your life? Where have you seen His mighty hand move in your life? Play and listen to the Praise and Worship Song by Chris Tomlin: "How Great is Our God", if you'd like, to remind you as well! 3. Ask yourself, "How can I be a blessing to someone by shining a light on their path and to remind them, of how GREAT, God was, is and will be forever! Let's grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run, or wherever you are ----- BE ENCOURAGED! Jackie --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beinspiredandmore/support

Rebuilding the Kingdom Three times in Ezra chapter seven the author tells us that Ezra had success because the hand of the Lord was upon him (verses 7, 9, 28). Throughout the Word of God, the image of a hand is of great importance. It is by the hand of the Lord that the people of Israel were delivered from slavery in Egypt (Deuteronomy 9:26). It is by the hand of the Lord that we are saved from our enemies (Psalm 17:7). And it is at the right hand of God that the Lord Jesus reigns and rules his church (Ephesians 1:20). The hand of God is an expression of his power to rule and reign in this world. Therefore, the phrase the hand of the Lord was upon him, means that Ezra was empowered by God to accomplish a mission. How did this empowering favor come to Ezra and how might we live in the same power today? As we read our text for this week, we will see that to live in the empowering favor of God we must live under His grace, in His Word, and for His mission. To come prepared for the sermon, take time this week to read and to meditate upon Ezra 7, Deuteronomy 9:26, Haggai 1:5-6, Romans 6:15, 1 Peter 2:9, and the Westminster Confession of Faith 8.8. This week we will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper during our worship service. As we receive the elements of bread and wine look in faith to the Lord Jesus Christ. For as we physically receive the signs of the Lord's body and blood, spiritually we feed upon him and all his benefits. Our hymns for this week include “All Praise to God, Who Reigns Above,” “Crown Him with Many Crowns,” and “Rejoice, the Lord is King.”
