During his tenure as Senior Advisor, he played a critical role in advancing bilateral U.S. - Israel relations with a focus on economic development & technology cooperation. Aryeh was appointed as the Special Envoy for Economic Normalization. In that role he was an integral member of the Peace to Prosperity team, leading the inaugural Abraham Accords Business Summit, directing the Abraham fund, and serving as point person in the Middle East for the actualization of the Abraham Accords. In the course of the conversation, Aryeh draws on Abraham's life which provides inspiration for meaning, value, purpose and sacrifice in our own lives. Aryeh also provides perspective on the U.S. - Israel relationship and underscores how apart from Israel being an economic and technological powerhouse benefiting American companies, it has also provided the U.S. with intelligence which has saved American lives; the genesis and benefits of the Abraham Accords; why he's bullish on the Middle East and doesn't know if there will be a more exciting place to live outside of the U.S. than the Middle East in the next 25 years.
When it comes to Middle East relations, few know more than Aryeh Lightstone. A Senior Advisor to former United States Ambassador David Friedman, Lightstone played a crucial role in implementing the Abraham Accords, one of the most important normalization agreements in modern times, and helping secure a brighter future for Israelis and Arabs in the region. Host Steven Shalowitz sits down with Lightstone to discuss the Accords, the dynamic between Palestinians and other Arab countries, and the impact of October 7 on Israel's relationship with countries who joined the accords.
On this week's episode of The Jerusalem Post Podcast, ahead of the 2024 US presidential elections between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, Aaron Reich moderates a debate on their approaches to Israel and the Middle East between Aryeh Lightstone, a former senior adviser to US ambassador to Israel David Friedman and a key player in the Trump-brokered Abraham Accords; and Joel Rubin, a former US deputy assistant secretary of state and former executive director of the American Jewish Congress.

"Immediately after these demons go for Israel, they'll go for the U.S. And the U.S. has a welcome mat on the southern border saying, 'Come, get us.'" Those words from Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone ought to sober us up very quickly as to how the radical Islamist threat to Israel directly impacts us here at home. And as Sara has reported for more than two years now, our enemies are undoubtedly exploiting President Biden's open borders to do us harm.Today, Rabbi Lightstone, who was a critical partner in the creation of the Abraham Accords, joins Sara to explain the existential issues at stake as Israel seeks to destroy Hamas and how the unholy alliance of Russia, Iran, and China risks drawing the U.S. and others into a global conflict. Joining Sara from Israel, Lightstone also shares what the past two weeks have been like, the stress his own family has been under, and the pain he's seeing in the families and friends of those butchered by Hamas. Please visit our great sponsors:After Deathhttps://angel.com/carterGet your tickets today for After Death opening October 27th. If any other president had orchestrated a landmark security and economic agreement in the Middle East, it would be praised for generations. But since Donald Trump accomplished it, the media ignores it and the Biden administration recklessly pursues policies that have failed for decades. The Abraham Accords brought Israel together with Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, Sudan and Morocco joined shortly thereafter. The agreement opened up trade travel, and many other economic opportunities among the nations and established critical security measures as well.So how did this all happen?Today, Sara welcomes Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone, who served as senior adviser to U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman during these historic negotiations. Lightstone explains how significant the Abraham Accords are for the entire Middle East and America's own national security. And he reveals what will happen as Biden walks away form the deal and renews efforts to appease Iran. Please visit our great sponsors:Allegiance Goldhttps://protectwithsara.comClick or Call 877-702-7272 tell them Sara sent you and get $5,000 of free silver on a qualifying purchase. The Abraham Accords were signed in September 2020. This agreement between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, marked the first full normalization agreement between Israel and an Arab country since the 1994 Jordan-Israel agreement. Soon after the September 2020 signing, Morocco and Sudan joined the Accords as well. Since these historic breakthroughs, Israel has been through wild political swings, from a left-right coalition government that included Naftali Bennett from the Right, Yair Lapid from the center-Left, and Mansour Abbas from a Muslim-Arab party. Fast forward to today, there is a government of the Right led by Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been on this podcast. And through it all, the Abraham Accords have endured. One of the architects of the accords was Aryeh Lightstone, who served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman from 2017 to 2021. On a recent trip to Israel, I sat down with Aryeh to hear the latest and also discuss his book, "Let My People Know: The Incredible Story of Middle East Peace―and What Lies Ahead." Are you good if you are simply a nice person? Or takes it more than that?... Elisjsha Dicken, the young man who killed the Indiana Mall murderer, is a true hero and good person… To the left you are a nothing. The state is to take care of all your needs and all your family's needs. To the right, you are a something. You are responsible to take care of yourself and your family… Dennis talks to Dr. Simone Gold. She's headed to a federal penitentiary for walking into the capitol on January 6. LAUSD (Los Angeles public school system) wants to “breakdown the gender binary.” There are so few truly transgender students we must look deeper for a motive of the left's trans obsession.
