Numărul soldaților este mic, misiunea lor este pur defensivă, dar semnificațiile acestui gest sunt importante. Germania va trimite soldați Bundeswehr pentru a ajuta Polonia la granița sa estică cu Belarus și cu exclava rusă din Kaliningrad. Potrivit unui purtător de cuvânt al Ministerului Apărării din Germania, principala sarcină a soldaților germani din Polonia va consta în „activități de inginerie militară”. Ei vor ajuta la „construirea de fortificații, săparea de tranșee, instalarea gardurilor de sârmă ghimpată sau ridicarea de bariere pentru tancuri”. Potrivit oficialului de la Berlin, efectivele trimise vor fi de aproximativ 50 de militari. Se așteaptă ca militarii să participe la proiect din al doilea trimestru al anului 2026 până la sfârșitul anului 2027. Purtătorul de cuvânt a subliniat că nu este necesară aprobarea parlamentară pentru desfășurare, deoarece „nu există niciun pericol imediat pentru soldați din cauza conflictelor militare”. Deși numărul militarilor germani care ajută la efortul de apărare al Poloniei este mic, simbolistica este importantă. Gestul este menit să arate Rusiei că europenii iau amenințările în serios și că sunt uniți în fața acestora. Anunțul de la Berlin vine după ce cancelarul Friedrich Merz a avertizat că Vladimir Putin va continua războiul, dacă Ucraina va cădea. Berlinul a trimis Kievului o cantitate imensă de echipamente, de la sisteme de apărare aeriană la vehicule blindate. După instalatrea președintelui Donald Trump la Casa Albă, Uniunea Europeană și-a asumat singură susținerea financiară pentru Urcaina, inclusiv prin cumpărarea de echipamente militare din Statele Unite. Ein Kommentar von Paul Clemente.Am vergangenen Donnerstag verkündete die Pressesprecherin im Weißen Haus, Karoline Leavitt: Donald Trump wolle beim Ukraine-Krieg nicht länger moderieren.„Der Präsident ist extrem frustriert über beide Seiten dieses Krieges und hat Treffen satt, die nur um des Treffens willen stattfinden. Er will keine weiteren Diskussionen. Er will Taten sehen. Er will, dass dieser Krieg ein Ende hat.“Auf die Frage, ob Trump einen Vertreter zu den Friedensverhandlungen nach Berlin sende, erwiderte Leavitt:„Wenn es eine echte Chance gibt, ein Friedensabkommen zu unterzeichnen, wenn wir das Gefühl haben, dass diese Treffen der Zeit der Vereinigten Staaten an diesem Wochenende würdig sind – dann werden wir einen Vertreter entsenden.“ Inzwischen hat Trump gleich zwei Unterhändler in die deutsche Hauptstadt geschickt: Steve Witkoff und Jared Kushner. Aber sieht der US-Präsident dort wirklich „echte Chancen“ für ein Friedensabkommen? Eher vorstellbar wäre: Dass die beiden eine Eskalation verhindern sollen. Schließlich berauschen sich deutsche Politiker zunehmend am Bellizismus. Eine Kostprobe gab Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz vor wenigen Tagen. Auf dem CSU-Parteitag in München erklärte Merz: Der russische Staatspräsident sei ein zweiter Hitler und Ex-Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel ein Chamberlain-Aufguss. Nein, originell ist dieser Vergleich nicht. Die Mainstream-Medien bemühen ihn fast täglich, aber: In der gegenwärtigen Situation ist er brandgefährlich. Denn mit einem Hitler kann man nicht Frieden schließen. Bei ihm verbieten sich Kompromisse oder gar Entgegenkommen. Fassen wir die Argumentation der Rede zusammen:So wie Hitler verfolge Putin den Aufbau eines Imperiums. Wie er das macht? Ganz einfach: Indem er frühere Mitgliedsstaaten der UdSSR militärisch einkassiert. Genau da zieht Merz die Parallele zum Jahr 1938 - dem Jahr, als Hitlers finstere Pläne zur Eroberung Europas sich abzeichneten. So wie inzwischen die Absichten vom bösen Putin. O-Ton Merz:„Das war eigentlich das Muster, das wir schon 2014 hätten sehen müssen. Und spätestens seit 2022 wissen wir es, dass es ein Angriffskrieg Russlands gegen die Ukraine ist, gegen Europa ist. Und wenn die Ukraine fällt, dann hört er nicht auf. Und genauso wenig wie 1938 das Sudetenland nicht gereicht hat. Putin hört nicht auf. Und wer heute noch glaubt, dass er damit genug hat, der soll bitte die Strategien, die Papiere, die Reden, die Auftritte von ihm genau analysieren.“Der feuchte Traum des Kreml-Chefs sei eine„Wiederherstellung der alten Sowjetunion in den Grenzen der alten Sowjetunion, mit einer massiven Gefährdung, auch militärischen Gefährdung der Länder, die früher einmal zu diesem Imperium dazugehört haben“.Zum Glück blieb diese Parallelisierung nicht unwidersprochen. Für zwei Tage ist Berlin der Schauplatz für die Ukraine-Verhandlungen. Und diese zwei Tage könnten entscheidend sein.

Vor 21 Jahren startete die erste Staffel der „Stromberg“-Serie, nach fünf Staffeln und einem Kinofilm im Jahr 2014 treffen sich nun Bernd Stromberg und seine Kollegen Ulf, Tanja, Ernie und weitere wieder, jedoch nicht im Büro der Capitol-Versicherung, sondern auf dem Studiogelände eines Fernsehsenders, der eine Wiedersehensshow mit den Protagonisten inszenieren will. Das Drehbuch stammt erneut von Ralf Husmann, was tatsächlich verwunderlich ist, denn er entscheidet sich für eine völlig falsche Prämisse. Gierig will „Stromberg – Wieder alles wie immer“ den Zeitgeist aufsaugen und glaubt, sich in den Kulturkampf begeben zu müssen. Nach dem Motto: So etwas kann man ja heute wohl nicht mehr machen/sagen!? Dabei war die Serie nie anti-woke und die alten Folgen sind keineswegs schlecht gealtert. Bemerkenswert ist auch, dass die Parallelen zu Kanzler Friedrich Merz überdeutlich sind, der Film sich jedoch an dieses heiße Eisen nicht heranwagt. During a rally Tuesday evening in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, President Trump reminded both Republicans and Democrats of just how savvy a messenger he can be when energizing his base. He crushed former President Joe Biden and his administration for overseeing the runaway inflation we are still battling today. He discussed his efforts to bring higher wage jobs to American workers, not illegal aliens. He dismantled Obamacare, highlighting high costs and the trillions in taxpayer dollars given to insurance companies instead of the American people. President Trump went full MAGA. The  message was clear: Republicans, take this message and run with it during the 2026 midterm election cycle. President Trump tore apart Obamacare. He is tired of insurance companies lining their pockets with Obamacare subsidies, and stated once again that he wants that money sent directly to the American people. Imagine being able to use your own money to purchase health insurance instead of those dollars going straight to the insurance companies? For Republicans in 2026, this is a smart policy that could excite the base in an election cycle where President Trump is not on the ballot. Healthcare across America, in many cases, is unaffordable and frustrating. This is certainly an area where the GOP can make up ground with sound policy ideas. President Trump has essentially closed our southern border by the sheer power he wields through the executive branch. The administration has now moved to tackle illegal immigration within our borders, in regards to both deportations and American jobs taken by illegal aliens.  Since President Trump took office, 100 percent of all net job creation has gone to American citizens. That is an amazing statistic that every GOP House and Senate member should be touting on the campaign trail. Not for nothing, but President Trump is also clearly tired of immigrants coming to America who do not care to fully assimilate or share our values. President Trump also announced a permanent pause on third-world migration, “including from hellholes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia, and many other countries.” This is a very smart and, frankly, important policy. During the recent off-year election cycle, many Americans learned for the first time how many third-world immigrants have infiltrated major American cities. But when you’re burning $30B yearly and literally cannot verify where $21B went, “less than 1%” stops sounding so minor. Senate vote coming this week. Expected to fail. Which means scramble for short-term extension, fight continues into 2026 budget battles, and absolutely nothing changes about fraud controls. Because here’s what nobody wants to say out loud: the system isn’t designed to catch fraud. It’s designed to maximize enrollment. When your mandate is “get people covered,” asking too many questions becomes the enemy. Verification slows things down. Documentation creates barriers. Better to let a few fake accounts slip through than risk denying real people who need coverage. So GAO’s 18 fictional enrollees will keep collecting their $10K monthly until someone at HHS manually shuts them down. Which requires someone at HHS to actually read GAO reports. Which requires someone at HHS to care more about fraud than enrollment numbers. Don’t hold your breath. By next year, GAO will run the same test. Find the same results. Write the same warnings. Un risultato che arriva nonostante il crollo dell'export verso gli Stati Uniti, in calo del 28,6 per cento a causa dei dazi, e nonostante gli sforzi del governo cinese di puntare sui consumi interni come nuovo motore di crescita. Le esportazioni complessive sono comunque cresciute del 5,9 per cento su base annua.Xi Jinping e Donald Trump, per motivi opposti, vorrebbero una riduzione di questo surplus, ma i dati diffusi dall'amministrazione doganale cinese mostrano un quadro molto diverso: gli USA non hanno piegato la Cina con le tariffe e Pechino non riesce a sganciarsi dal modello basato su export e import.
