Grünen-Fraktions-Chefin Katharina Dröge etwa bezeichnete den Kompromiss der EU-Staaten als vertane Chance │ Ein geteiltes Echo zu dem Kompromiss gibt es von Wolfgang Ischinger, dem Chef der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz. Er begrüßt das Ergebnis, sieht darin aber auch einen Glaubwürdigkeitsverlust für die EU. │ Zufrieden mit der Einigung zeigt sich hingegen Russland. Der Kompromiss habe die illegale Verwendung russischer Reserven zur Finanzierung der Ukraine verhindert, hieß es aus Moskau.

Včera byla jmenována nová vláda, dnes a zítra zasedne a den nato odjede premiér Babiš na zasedání Evropské rady do Bruselu. Hlavním bodem má být rozhodnutí o tom, jak financovat válčící Ukrajinu.Andrej Babiš už minulý týden při cestě po západní Evropě zjistil, že bezpečnostní hrozby ze strany Ruska jsou větší, než si původně myslel. Snad každá země čelí větším či menším provokacím ze strany Ruska. Německý kancléř Merz po desítkách dronových provokací kolem největších letišť rozhodl, že budou vybavena obranným protidronovým zařízením. Nemluvě už o drobnostech, které ve druhé polovině roku narušily vzdušný prostor Polska, Rumunska, Moldavska a Estonska a které byly prokazatelně ruské. Moskva také nese odpovědnost za nedávné sabotáže na polských železnicích.Nikdo neříká, že Rusko chce vyprovokovat třetí světovou válku s NATO. Jeho cílem je narušovat jednotu zemí Severoatlantické aliance a v jednu chvíli dokázat, že neplatí článek 5 o společné obraně. Tím by NATO fakticky ztratilo smysl své existence a s ním by se zhroutila celá bezpečnostní architektura západní a střední Evropy.Za této situace premiér Babiš evidentně bere zpátečku ve své kritice viníků ukrajinské války. Vhodným partnerem, který bude vyvažovat proruské síly ve své vládě, je prezident Petr Pavel. Jak se jejich vztah nakonec vyvine?

I hope they do the right thing. The Affordability Crisis Is Not a ‘Hoax.' It Is an Existential Threat to the American Dream.  Recently, President Trump has been quoted as referring to the affordability crisis as a “Democrat scam,” “hoax,” and “con job.” Although I think Trump was likely trying to remind Americans that policies enacted when Democrats had total control of the federal government under the first two years of the Biden administration accelerated and exacerbated the affordability problem, it is dangerous for the president to use that type of language. Already, mainstream media reprobates are twisting Trump's words, leading people to believe that he is saying the affordability crisis does not exist.  In proper context, Trump is not denying that middle- and lower-class Americans are struggling to make ends meet; rather, he is trying to assign blame and hang the affordability crisis on the Democrats. But even doing that is politically unwise.  The American people are not nearly as concerned with pointing fault as they are with seeking immediately viable solutions to the untenable reality they face. For many Americans, the affordability crisis is so severe that they think the American dream is no longer within reach. Countries on the list include much of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Qatar, Israel, Chile and Brunei. Citizens or nationals of these countries have been allowed to freely travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. If the proposal is adopted, they’ll have to share their online footprint – something that immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants from different categories have been required to provide since 2019. The list also includes; Telephone numbers used in the last five years Email addresses used in the last 10 years IP addresses and metadata from electronically submitted photos Biometrics – including facial, fingerprint, DNA and Iris data Information about one’s family – including  names, telephone numbers, dates of birth, places of birth and residences.
