But when he skipped town, they had no choice but to issue a warrant for his arrest for murder.  After an encounter that almost got him caught, investigators counted the days until Peter slipped up again. 40 years later, both police and the Shea family are still hoping that day will come. I was stuck in a lifestyle I knew wasn't me, but I kept going with it, kept making those bad choices and hurting people. Yet my life turned around. I learned to channel my drive in a new direction, a healthy direction. It didn't happen overnight, but eventually, my life started on an upward trajectory that today actually helps people and creates good in the world. If you're like I once was, your life can turn around, too. Today, my main goal in life is to help others, which is why I wrote From Turmoil to Triumph. In these pages, I share the good, the bad, and the ugly. A lot of it is not flattering. But if it can change someone else's life, it's worth it."

UVA track and field stars Margot Appleton and Ethan Dabbs are coming off ACC Championship performances as the Hoos head towards the national meet. Dabbs won his fourth consecutive javelin title in Raleigh, the first ACC competitor to accomplish that, while Appleton picked up her first ACC crown in the 1,500 meters. Since the late 1980s, Reggie has been a familiar name for many teenagers who have heard him speak in hundreds of school systems, churches, youth camps and other events around the nation. His impact for the Kingdom is so broad and wide it's nearly impossible to measure. He and Becky share about his latest move to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas region, where he's joined the Trinity Church pastoral staff. What he did with those choices was entirely up to him.In the sixth grade, Reggie began playing the saxophone and hated it. At the insistence of his parents he continued to practice and to play. Not until his freshman year in college did he actually enjoy the instrument, and today, he plays with fervor and expertise.After graduating from college, Reggie began his public speaking. During one speaking engagement, his host asked if he would be interested in addressing a high school assembly. From that small beginning in 1987, Reggie has become a popular public school speaker.When addressing a school assembly, Reggie talks to the kids in a humorous style about choices each of them has when faced with drugs, alcohol, suicide, etc. Reggie gets in kids faces and tells them that he never smoked a cigarette, never did drugs, never drank alcohol, because he chose not to.
