Dave reflects on Chris's original idea for a “Dopey Stories” book made up of listener submissions and stories from the show. He talks about failed attempts to pitch the project to publishers and wonders whether self-publishing a Dopey book on Amazon might finally make sense. She explains how manipulation, survival, and trauma blurred together while trying to escape dangerous situations and abusive relationships. The conversation shifts toward recovery as Keta talks about finally hitting an emotional and spiritual bottom after years of heroin and meth addiction. Away in Bethlehem.. I mean Glace Bay, Roxy and her new best friend, Tanis, spent the whole day prepping a beautiful scoff for the Christmas gathering and everything was going great until Manda strolled in with her tray of pizza dip and the audacity to remind everyone she's pregnant with Eggy's baby. The holiday spirit went downhill fast after Eggy took her for a rip on the ride on lawn mower and accidentally broke her water. Luckily, the backyard baby barn doubled as a delivery room.
