We base characters on their performance against top tier teams at max level. In some cases, depending on your gear levels, play style, and rank; certain characters may perform much better for you. Most of our scores are weighted heavily towards Siege play in the very top rankings. How the categories break out: S-Tier: More exclusive then before, the best of the best. Fit into almost any comp and is pretty much a roster requirement to compete in the highest levels of the game. A-Tier: Very solid characters. Characters that are either versatile or extremely good at their job and you will never regret gearing them. In this list are your counter characters and just all around great toons. B-Tier: These are "good" characters but sometimes need a team built around them or they compliment a specific team. There is often a superior option to them, but they are still pretty good depending on the situation. C-Tier: These characters are more situational. They also can be pretty "meh" characters most of the time, but can excel in a specific comp. Most probably need a rework to shine. T-Tier: This is your trash tier characters that desperately need a rework. F-tier! Toon of the Month: If you notice the glow around a character, he/she is the Siege toon of the month! This is a character that was extra special for the month and deserved some special recognition. _____________________________________________________________________________ Resources: Our Discord: https://discord.gg/m4dojo New Player Guide: https://youtu.be/70ed36-sVPk Hatemael's Legendary Order Guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uDmcPgUQUfbyjhKb1bBGFEqmVsN_thqf-5VyHPpvJI8/edit?usp=sharing The Court of Owls Master Tier List Spreadsheet version: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-13VDLLLG4SlzpbbV24LrQrXkxf6x9hnAzqZbmHYBQc/edit?usp=sharing Everything needed for DC Legends: https://www.dcloracle.com/ Contact us: WROLBroadcast@gmail.com Twitter- WROLBroadcast _______________________________________________________________________________ Attribution: https://freesound.org/s/371517/ Synthetic Church Choir by Timbre https://freesound.org/s/352531/ Epic_Heroic_Orchestral_Dramatic.mp3 by SoundFlakes https://freesound.org/s/423499/ Dream (Epic Retro Synth Music).wav by bigmanjoe https://freesound.org/s/426669/ https://freesound.org/s/250164/ by Kwahmah_02 https://freesound.org/s/391828/ by zagi2 https://freesound.org/s/27451/ by acclivity https://freesound.org/s/96541/ by tim.kahn https://freesound.org/s/61322/ by mansardian https://freesound.org/s/437332/ by FullMetalJedi https://freesound.org/s/405564/ by Timbre https://freesound.org/s/218372/ by copyc4t

You're going to meet Timbre. She looks like Wonder Woman who's been suffering from decades of imprisonment. A powerful yet squeamishly uncomfortable conversation ensues, as we hear about the breakup that has her trapped. Almost three years later, she's still haunted in her dreams and her consciousness. Her raw honesty and sense of humor lighten the heaviness but don't keep her from shrinking from the sting of the villainous phantom of regret. You may find yourself identifying with Timbre's pain - the pain that's found in self-loathing and shame. So how do you free yourself from the shackles of regret? How do you break away from self-punishment? These are questions we explore in this interview. Find out how we discover the key that unlocks her from this dark and suffocating prison. There's hope ~ if she's willing to make the next move.
Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This second episode of a two-part series with Kiku Day explores shakuhachi soundings of cultural translation and peacebuilding. With the famous honkyoku piece, Tamuke, we encounter the problems of cultural translation and how a piece about passages has been problematically recast as a requiem. The episode ends with a discussion of ryu or localized schools and the sounding of the robuki wave during the COVID-19 pandemic.
MMT-informed ecological economist Professor Phil Lawn says "Growth is killing the planet". What exactly is growing? Can we have good growth and bad growth? And dare we raise the issue of population growth? Phil tells us about the Genuine Progress Indicator (GPI), which brings with it some good news, and we reflect on why no-one is talking about it. (Although after we recorded our conversation, the Labor government did announce it intends to "Measure What Matters".) Synopsis In 1971, after reading a book about the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, the American pop singer Don McLean wrote a song he titled “Vincent,” which became a big hit the following year. The song is better known by its opening line, “Starry, starry night,” a reference to one of Van Gogh's best-known paintings, entitled “The Starry Night.” But McLean wasn't the only composer inspired by that painting. On today's date in 1978, the National Symphony Orchestra under Mstislav Rostropovich premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., a new orchestral work by the French composer Henri Dutilleux. Dutilleux titled his new work “Timbre, space, movement,” but added a subtitle, “The Starry Night,” in acknowledgement of the painting's influence, and said he wanted to translate into music the (quote) "almost cosmic whirling effect which [the painting] produces". Now, painting and music are very different art forms, but the energy, pulsation, and whirling qualities of Van Gogh's masterpiece do find vivid expression, both visual and musical, in Dutilleux's work. As a kind of frame, Dutilleux placed the cellos in a half circle around the conductor, omitted violins and violas from his instrumentation, and alternated static episodes and whirling wind and percussion solos to evoke the illusion of motion in the Van Gogh painting. Music Played in Today's Program Henri Dutilleux (1916 - 2013) Timbres, espace, mouvement BBC Philharmonic; Yan Pascal Tortelier, conductor. Chandos 9504
Happy Halloween! For the second annual Don't Spook Yourself Halloween spectacular, Ryan is joined by the incredibly spooky Catie Stroud and absolutely kooky Cap from Shrimp and Crits. They talk candy hotdogs memes, before knocking on a stranger's door to provide a smart answer to an r/nostupidquestions inquiry exploring the connection between Dracula and the classic Halloween banger Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johannes Sebastian Bach. Then they try to figure out whether a native American curse is murdering Floridians with cotton candy colored farts. Then they delve into the darkest innermost reaches of the human soul when they answer a cry for help on r/AmItheAsshole dealing with a radio famous monstrous goat sucker. Then they discuss some junior grade suckers being scammed by a post from r/UnethicalLifeProTips. Then they hop onto a vintage meme showcasing the fight against monstrously large grasshoppers in the American west. Finally, our trio of Halloween experts stir the cauldron by helping a user from r/NoStupidQuestion dress themself for the biggest spooky day of the year. Also, we've hidden some weird treats throughout the episode. durée : 00:25:30 - Les Grands entretiens - par : Judith Chaine - La soprano Françoise Pollet est dotée d'une immense musicalité.

Tomorrow Is The Problem PodcastWelcome to the ICA Miami Podcast. Each season, we'll explore familiar concepts from everyday life that we often take for granted. We'll expand these concepts to understand their critical historical and cultural underpinnings and forever change the way you view them.Sound WavesThe focus of this second season is sound as art, music, protest, and violence. An exploration of how sounds shape our experience of the world requires a study of music, but also that of the less explored sonic landscapes that exist outside of the anthropomorphic auditory register. On Listening as an Ethical PracticeFor our season finale we offer hot, crunchy, gooey sounds! We discuss the ethics of sound and how the old lexicons of sound have trained our cognitive biases to hear in racialized, gendered, and classist terms.Time Stamps + Takeaways[0:00] Hearing versus listening, passivity and intentionality. A reading of Claudia Rankine's Citizen.[3:40] Nina Eidsheim talks about the intermaterial vibrational quality of sound as well as the implicated nature of the listener — the receptor as an integral part of sound itself.[7:45] “Figures of sound” — like figures of speech — are susceptible to cognitive biases. Nina explains what this looks like, and how to challenge this in ourselves.[12:02] Hot, cold, crunchy, gooey, explosive sounds? Nina invites us to disrupt our patterns and revisit long-established lexicons.[14:35] Jana Winderen speaks to the sounds of the seas, and while they are quiet, they are by no means silent — and neither are humans — as well as how she records her work.[18:43] We weren't always this loud. Jana shares the destructive impacts of human noise pollution.[22:54] Tina Campt on quiet photographs and the inexistence of silence in the world.[26:43] Black Germans and their relationship to sounds of war was a path to a new sonic modality for Tina. She also speaks to the power of photographs as a tool for control and propaganda.[30:46] Tina reads a photograph, which leads to thoughts on how we consume media.[30:47] Season 2 closes with a quiet encouragement to be intentional in our listening practice and invites listeners to tune in for season 3.Contributors + GuestsNina Sun Eidsheim / Scholar + Professor.Jana Winderen / Artist.Tina Campt / Professor.Donna Honarpisheh / Assistant Curator and Host. This podcast was made in partnership with Podfly Productions. My guest this week is Timbre Pringle of Faceless Fly Fishing [46:26] and the topic is small stream fly fishing, particularly in the Rocky Mountains. Timbre has some great tips on fishing dries, dry dropper combos, and streamers in small streams, and the differences between the different species of trout in small streams. She also gives some great tips on avoiding encounters with bears, something that can be an issue when certain areas of the Rockies once you get away from the road. In the Fly Box this week, we have some seasonally appropriate questions and some good tips from listeners, including: Four good tips on storing tying materials from a listener When do you use a dubbing loop, and when do you use the standard noodle method instead? How do I avoid the numerous small steelhead parr on my local river? Why did I miss 20 fish in a row when fishing a dry fly during a caddis hatch? A listener takes issue with the advice of using heavier tippets to play fish quickly Do trout get full and not rise when there is an over-abundance of bugs? Why can I catch fish on dries and not on nymphs? A listener asks my thoughts on nymphs with a bobber vs. a dry dropper rig. A listener tore a small piece of the jaw off a trout because he forgot to pinch his barb. He wants to know if that hole in the trout's jaw is a death sentence. How should I get set up to swing flies for smallmouth bass? How can I intercept a hatch? What features should I look for if I want to try to wait on the bank for a hatch to appear? On this episode of the Sofa King Podcast, we talk about one of the loudest voices of Generation X, Henry Rollins. He was the front man for the epic punk band Black Flag and later the front man for the Rollins Band. He was in icon of the 80s and 90s, known for his temper, tattoos, and timbre. Henry Rollins sang against the establishment and fought against what was corrupt in society; he fought against his fans at concerts, too, leading to a reputation as a hot head. He became equally famous for his spoken word and lectures as his music, and he helped voice the rage and frustration of his generation with an eloquence that few possessed.
