So Harris has to drop out, and of course since Fox edited out the part where Trump talks about the enemy within, Trump also has to drop out so two Tuesdays from now it's the presidential election between Tim Walz and Jayvee Vance? MEANWHILE, IF SHE WINS it will have been sealed by the 24-hour span in which she looked authoritative and righteously indignant while on Fox News, followed by the moment some pro-Trump hecklers crashed her rally in Wisconsin and her response was... well, put it this way: There were no heckler survivors.  B-Block (19:04) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: BBC News cancels one of the most informative news programs in the world: "HardTalk" dead after three decades. In the same week that BBC Director General Tim Davie pitched for an increase in government funding for the BBC World Service, while simultaneously axing the global interview programme Hard Talk in another round of cuts, we speak with Gareth Benest, Director of Advocacy at the International Broadcasting Trust. We discuss the decline in international coverage by UK broadcasters, his analysis of the shrinking breadth of countries featured in news and current affairs programming, and the potential impact of new media legislation, algorithms, and public service broadcasting. “Last year, it surprised me that there was, as far as I could see from the logging that I did of linear schedules, there was not a single programme outside of news broadcasts about Rwanda. The most spoken about African country, perhaps in the history of UK media, last year, there wasn't a single documentary. The BBC has announced cuts to its news output including closing the interview show HARDtalk after nearly 30 years. We talk to HARDtalk presenter Stephen Sackur. The Isis Prisons Museum was established in 2017 when a group of journalists, filmmakers and activists entered deserted Islamic State prisons to collect evidence. Des enfants sans vie tirés des décombres dans le bourdonnement perpétuel des drones.A l'heure où nous enregistrions ce podcast, le bilan s'établissait à plus de 37.300 morts selon le ministère de la Santé du Hamas. Et pendant ce temps, en Israël de nombreuses familles restaient profondément traumatisées par les événements du 7 octobre, quand 1.194 personnes, majoritairement des civils, ont été tuées lors d'une attaque du Hamas sur le sol israélien. Il reste aussi 116 otages du Hamas à Gaza, dont 41 sont morts, selon l'armée. Comment qualifier ces drames ? Doit-on parler de crimes contre l'humanité, voire de génocide ? Pour Médecins sans frontières, la situation “équivaut à un génocide". Le président américain Joe Biden en revanche estime que c'est une accusation “scandaleuse”, comme Israël. Et sur ce point, une bataille est engagée devant la justice internationale.
