Sunny Hostin is facing intense backlash after newly released police bodycam footage captured her intervention during her adult son's encounter with MTA Police in New Rochelle, New York.Gabriel Hostin, 24, received a trespassing citation on June 16 after officers reportedly found him jogging on restricted Metro-North railroad property. He maintained that he entered through an open gate and did not realize he was in a prohibited area. But it was Sunny Hostin's response that ignited the controversy.During her conversations with police, “The View” commentator reportedly identified herself as a former federal prosecutor and emphasized her son's Harvard education, clean record, and work teaching geometry to children in the South Bronx. Officers remained professional and issued the citation under department policy.Hostin later wrote to prosecutors asking that the citation be dismissed, arguing that the incident was an innocent mistake and that continued prosecution would be unjust. Was this simply a concerned mother and attorney advocating for her son—or a powerful public figure attempting to use her career, connections, and status to obtain treatment unavailable to an ordinary family? In this video, Professor Nez examines the bodycam footage, the officers' response, Hostin's explanation, and the growing debate over privilege, accountability, law enforcement, and the apparent contradiction between her public rhetoric and her private actions.Watch the complete analysis and decide for yourself.Subscribe and turn on notifications for daily breaking news, political commentary, fact-checking, and analysis from Professor Nez.For free and unbiased Medicare help, dial (656) 218-0931 to speak with my trusted partner, Chapter, or go to https://askchapter.org/nez✅ Reach out to me: https://bio.site/professornez✅ ORIGINAL MADE IN U.S.A 250TH AMERICA DESIGNS: https://professornez.myspreadshop.com/✅ Check out our Official Clips Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@professornezclips▶ Support the Channel and Buy us a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/professornezEducational Commentary & Original AnalysisThis channel presents educational, lecture-style analysis created by a university professor and educator. During The Charlie James Show, the host criticized The View co-host Sunny Hostin, claiming she lost the right to speak on "white privilege" following an incident involving her son, Gabriel. According to the segment, Gabriel was arrested and handcuffed for trespassing near railroad tracks despite clear warning signs. James highlighted that Hostin arrived at the scene and allegedly attempted to use her status and legal background as a former federal prosecutor to influence the situation, which the host framed as a glaring example of hypocrisy from the political left.
Host Charlie James reacts to The View co-host Sunny Hostin critiquing the appointment of Senator Darlene Graham to fill her late brother Lindsey Graham's vacant seat, with Hostin calling it a "DEI" move. James dismisses her comments, noting the upcoming heavily attended funeral services scheduled for Lindsey Graham across Washington D.C., Columbia, and Pickens County. Turning to the legislative battle over the Save America Act, James heavily criticizes North Carolina Senator Tom Tillis for opposing the bill under the pretense that it cannot be quickly implemented. A caller named Roger joins the show to discuss upcoming candidates for the South Carolina special primary, such as Mark Lynch and Ralph Norman, leading James to emphasize that the ultimate goal must be electing a candidate who can defeat the Democratic challenger, Dr. Annie Andrews.
Hostin joins Brian Teta to discuss the significance of civil rights attorney Ben Crump representing Nolan Wells' family, what she hopes to see happen next in the investigation, and why she believes the American flag has been “co-opted by the far right.” Learn more about your ad choices. A former Univision journalist recently stated that being in the United States without proper documentation is not a criminal offense. According to the journalist, while entering the country illegally can be a violation of immigration law, simply residing in the U.S. without legal status is considered a civil infraction rather than a criminal one. Sunny Hostin, from The View, agrees. Hostin said. "Let's axe that right now, because it is not illegal to be undocumented. It is not a crime to be undocumented. People are not illegal." On Friday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump put the hammer down on Iran, Russia, and the Hitler youth protestors at colleges and universities. Trump is adopting an aggressive and strategic approach to both foreign and domestic challenges. He is pressuring Russia and Ukraine to negotiate an end to their war with sanctions and diplomacy, while simultaneously threatening Iran if it does not agree to a nuclear deal. Domestically, he is taking a strong stance against antisemitic university protestors. The Trump administration is taking actions that the Biden administration wouldn't. We see Hitler youth antisemitism in the streets, and Trump is stepping up to address it. The Trump administration has canceled $400 million in grants and contracts to Columbia University due to "inaction in the face of persistent harassment of Jewish students." Also, over the last seven or eight years, China has significantly muscled up and is now a serious force. Billions of dollars have been spent on everything except the U.S. military, but Trump will fix that. Later, it's fine to have people with strong opinions, but the hosts on The View are unhinged radicals. They constantly cross the line, with Sunny Hostin leading the pack as the worst offender. ABC News apparently has no issue with her calling for people to fight and die. Hostin needs to be fired for pushing violence like that. Finally, Kevin McCarthy calls in to explain that the Democrats are in chaos, fighting an internal civil war with no clear leader in the House, even after the election. In California, Gavin Newsom's presidential ambitions have him clashing with the party by opposing men in women's sports, fueling the divide. The split isn't just left versus hard left—there are no moderates anymore, just Marxists and socialists. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
