Harry Colt made it the links we play today, albeit more recently refreshed and updated by Martin Hawtree in 2017. A golf course played in the landscape not on the landscape, it is indeed a fine hallmark Colt design. What a year it's been for Lauren Walsh! Michelle first picked up a golf club at the age of 10 and grew up on the west coast of Ireland playing at Enniscrone Golf Club. She played on provincial and on Irish National teams. In 2001 Michelle was offered a golf scholarship at Campbell University and in 2011 Michelle started her own Golf School. Whilst I poke fun at a possible Lahinch vs Portmarnock Golf Club rivalry, PGC is one of the greatest clubs and courses on this island of ours.
