Hans fantasi må var lik en 13-årig pojke men det är den absoluta höjdpunkten när han får fritt spelrum. Inte för att det övriga är särskilt svagt heller. Edvin och Olivia ställer till med ett good-old munhugg och blir därför liknade med det maka paret Lasse och Agneta, (obs inte för att Olivia också har hängpattar). One thing I've always loved about Rochester is the diversity and originality of our bands. In the last two decades, Travis Johansen has been a part of many of these diverse bands. Greg Benoit (Rochester Hardcore History) and I had the privilege of interviewing Travis for this episode. We talk about some of his earlier projects, as well as all of the notable bands Travis has been in. The bands we talked about include Borderline, The Hue of Two, Science vs Witchcraft, Joywave, Pomelo, and Kopps. Travis also has some of the more interesting tour stories to hit the podcast in a while. This episode was also recorded one day after the tragic shooting that occurred in Buffalo on Saturday May 14. Hunter is BACK! Colby and Hunter open up with a UConn sendoff with Hunter giving us a rundown of how special this team was and how great a run they made. We then get into the 8 super regional matchups, starting with the most shocking of events: Arkansas losing to NC State in 3 games. Highlighted by the game 3 decision to start Kopps and leave him in into the 9th by Dave Van Horn. Kevin Kopps is not to blame for this loss at all. The man had one of the most incredible years by a collegiate baseball player and should be praised because Arkansas would not have made it this far without him. Then we recap Texas vs USF series in which Texas was tested in game 1, but rolled to the sweep in game 2. Texas is now undefeated through the super regionals and is entering the CWS 5-0. Tennessee vs LSU was a great environment with Tennessee having a home run derby to sweep the series in game 2, but not before a great send-off to one of the greatest college coaches ever, Paul Mainieri. Vandy vs ECU was the pitching duel in game 1 everyone expected with projected first-round picks Kumar Rocker and Gavin Williams dueling for 8 innings. Unfortunately for ECU, they had to face Jack Leiter in game 2 and did not fare much better. Rocker and Leiter look to be in peak form making Vandy the hardest out now in Omaha. For the national 5 seed, Arizona, they faced a tough team in Ole Miss led by folk hero Tim Elko, but that did not prevent them from having a HR derby of their own in Tuscon. DBU vs UVA was the battle of the two 3 seeds and it definitely was a great series with UVA winning on a Grand Slam in game 3. Mississippi State vs Notre Dame was the series everyone tabbed as much watch and boy did game 1 prove why. State ended up winning in 3 games. And the other shocker of a series, Stanford completely dismantled Texas Tech outscoring them 24-3 over the two games, a complete obliteration highlighted by starters Brenden Beck, Alex Williams, and slugging centerfielder Brock Jones. Kevin Kopps has been a Razorback for six years, but his final season with the Diamond Hogs is one for the history books—and so is his story. The sixth-year senior and pitching coach Matt Hobbs take us through Kopps' journey—how reaching out to Arkansas himself as a high school pitcher, experiencing one of the worst years of his life, and considering not returning for the 2021 season all led to him becoming the best pitcher in college baseball.

KOPPS tell a tale of society's ongoing need and want to constantly acquire more and more things, while bringing up the question on whether anything will ever be enough? Their new single " OH DANG DANG " (produced by Daniel Armbruster of Joywave), which premiered everywhere yesterday via Nakid Magazine, is KOPPS' satirical way of voicing concern of our nation's collective sanity around worshipping "stuff". “OH DANG DANG” is a car crash of a song combining elements of pop, alt, and even a little nu-metal," Front-woman , Patricia, states. To me, this song represents the agenda of never being able to get enough. Objects and fads come and go, but the desire to accumulate for the average North American remains."

Paula McManus är skådespelare, dramatiker och regissör, född 1968 i Stockholm. Hon är autodidakt och började sin teaterbana hos den fria gruppen Ung utan pung. Hon blev känd för många som programledare i TV, där hon tillsammans med Calle Marthin ledde  programmet Bullen 1998-2003. Parallellt med det jobbade hon på Stockholms Stadsteaters Backstage. Hon var både skådespelare och med i det konstnärliga rådet på teatern. Hon har skrivit pjäser för Teater Västmanland, Dalateatern, Teater Scenario och Ung Scen Öst, inte minst där hon jobbat en hel del de senaste åren. Hon fick bland annat ett väldigt fint mottagande för klassrumsteatern Sexigt på riktigt. Totalt har hon skrivit ett trettontal pjäser. Hon har också gjort det lite speciella projektet Psykakuten en sorts improviserad terapiteater, som bygger på publikens medverkan. Och så har hon gjort en del TV, som Emma åklagare t ex och varit med i filmer som Att göra en pudel, Kopps och Allt flyter. Mycket radio har det också blivit för Paula McManus: Frispel och På minuten i skarven 90- 00-tal, hon var med och gjorde det feministiska humorprogrammet Systrarna år 2012. Hon har medverkat i flera produktioner här ifrån Sveriges Radio Drama t ex Cheferna av Malin Axelsson. Och så har hon sommarpratat, här i P1, år 2003.
