Da das SNES mit "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" ein wirklich gandioses Action-Adventure hatte, hatte auch Sega großes Interesse daran, einen mindestens ebenso guten Titel für ihr Mega Drive zu veröffentlichen. Diese Aufgabe fiel Climax zu, die vorher bereits am Dungeon Crawler "Shining in the Darkness" und dem Taktikscharmützel "Shining Force" gewerkelt hatten. Doch Landstalker sollte nicht bloß ein Zeldaklon werden, es setzte verstärkt auf Geschicklichkeitsparts, eine hohe Puzzledichte und eine erwachsenere Story. Wie hat sich der Titel gehalten ? Wie wirken sich die damals angepriesenen Unterschiede zu Zelda auf die heutige Spielerfahrung aus und...ist Landstalker die "Antwort" auf Nintendos Erfolgsreihe ?
