When things feel like they're going all wrong, it's easy to get discouraged. But here's the thing: with God, no situation is hopeless. He specializes in turning things around! So if you're feeling stuck or struggling today, don't try to push through on your own strength. Lean into your faith and let God work. Things might be dark now, but with Him, the dawn is coming. #faithoverfear #godsturnitaround
How do we let go or surrender to God in all things? It is often one of the most difficult things to do, especially when we have a very difficult season before us. However, God wants us to let go and let Him. God can work in ways that we don’t quite understand. He can direct us and guide us in ways that we don’t expect. See what scripture has to say on this very important topic.

Join us as Jamie G., from Rochester, NY, shares his experience, strength, and hope around today's Daily Reflection, entitled Let Go and Let God. LET GO AND LET GOD. . . praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.— TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 96When I "Let Go and Let God," I think more clearly and wisely. Without having to think about it, I quickly let go of things that cause me immediate pain and discomfort. Because I find it hard to let go of the kind of worrisome thoughts and attitudes that cause me immense anguish, all I need do during those times is allow God, as I understand Him, to release them for me, and then and there, I let go of the thoughts, memories and attitudes that are troubling me.When I receive help from God, as I understand Him, I can live my life one day at a time and handle whatever challenges come my way. Only then can I live a life of victory over alcohol, in comfortable sobriety. From the book Daily ReflectionsCopyright © 1990 by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc.Support the showNeed the Daily Reflection Book? I googled it...We cross our forehead so that the Word of God may be in our thoughts and purify our minds. We cross our lips so that our speech may be holy and incline us to share the Gospel with others. And we cross our hearts to invite God to strengthen our love for Him and others. All of this is so that we might know, proclaim, and love Jesus Christ all the more.
This week we share our humanly struggles that we realize we don't truly and fully give to God to handle as we should. We all have internal battles within ourselves that can cause a wall to go up between us and our faith. We vulnerably share our own deep feelings and discuss ways we can put our faith into practice daily. So ask yourself, are you truly giving it to God? If not, what are ways you can help yourself to let go and let God? We hope this episodes inspires you to seek God over all else! “Let go and let God” is a motto often shared with someone who's struggling or burdened by a difficult situation. It sounds like a nice idea and is often said in a kind-hearted way. However, what does it really mean to “let go and let God,” and is that a piece of advice a Christian should follow? We'll explore this and more in Part 2 of "Catchphrase Christianity."Two problems that this advice presents and one solution to embrace:1) Problem 1: Overconfidence in ourselves.2) Problem 2: Underconfidence in God's means.3) Solution: Cooperation with God in obedience that leads to assurance.Text: Philippians 2:12-14

Your fears and doubts are powerful forces that can easily block certainty and joy in your journey. This is when you need to “let God.” When we become too obsessed with “making it work,” we tend to impatiently expect the results in the timeline that we set for ourselves. This is the part where you let go.We often choose between letting go or letting God - but you can do both! In this episode, we discuss how you can effectively apply this beautiful mindset to co-create with God through patience and trust.Key Takeaways- Intro (00:00)- Let go and let God (01:37)- No to spiritual bypass (04:02)- Letting go (07:10)- Letting God (10:36)- Let faith work out (14:16)- The meaning of closed doors (18:26)- Bottom line (23:09)Additional resourcesWant to experience the Prosperity Approach first hand? Unforgiveness is a sin that will destroy its own container. Unforgiveness is a sin that will destroy you like an incurable cancer. Unforgiveness is a sin that causes bitterness in our life. The Bible warns about bitterness: “Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled” (Hebrews 12:15). The word “bitterness” comes from the Greek word “pikria.” It's used in Acts 8:23 of a condition of extreme wickedness, “gall of bitterness” or “bitter gall.” Romans 3:14 says it's a mouth full of cursing and bitterness. Ephesians 4:31 says its “bitter” hatred; and in Hebrews 12:15 it's a root of “bitterness,” producing “bitter” fruit. In Deuteronomy 32:33 and Job 20:16, it represents the deadly “poison” or “venom” of poisonous snakes. Let Go And Let God... Have a question? Send me a DM through Instagram @miltonlouisgonzalez

God's timing is not instant gratification. Amidst hardships and difficulty, we can do one of two things, throw in the towel or trust God to pull us through. In this week's episode co-hosts Renée and Theresa bring on special guest Elissa to share her journey through depression, anxiety, and her family on the rocks that resulted in a decision to trust God instead of losing it all. Sometimes there's no other choice but to trust something bigger than yourself.

So many of us try and control every aspect of our lives and of the world. Perhaps it is time that we let go, and let God do what He does best.
Humility doesn’t makes sense in our world. Humility calls for you to be courteous, respectful and patient in a world that is shrill, disrespectful and intolerant. So to be humble is to be unreasonable. Humility goes against the grain of reason because this virtue compels you to not think about yourself in a world that is obsessed with itself.

When I was in my first year of recovery from alcoholism, I remember seeing a poster that said "Let Go and Let God." I listened carefully to people in the rooms of AA and on various self-help audio books talk about how important it is to let go of things that we worry about on a daily basis and have no control over. In this episode of Chase Your Better After Dark, Tina and I discuss how the first day of our vacation in Mo'orea, Tahiti has forced both of us to embrace letting go and how it is making us feel and experience life on a deeper level.
