Ninja Viking?!? Rogues are masters of disguise and subtlety, who lurk in the shadows waiting for the perfect time to make their lethal strike. Barbarians are an unsubtle slab of mindless rage and feral instinct able to shrug off lethal blows while screaming and charging down their enemies at full tilt. Put them together and we get a bit of a thematic mismatch, but a mechanical synergy wonder. And while you may not exactly elude detection, your enemies will definitely be surprised when their heads get chopped off. Towards probabilistic multiclass classification of gamma-ray sources by Dmitry Malyshev et al. on Wednesday 21 September Machine learning algorithms have been used to determine probabilistic classifications of unassociated sources. Often classification into two large classes, such as Galactic and extra-galactic, is considered. However, there are many more physical classes of sources. For example, there are 23 classes in the latest Fermi-LAT 4FGL-DR3 catalog. In this note we subdivide one of the large classes into two subclasses in view of a more general multi-class classification of gamma-ray sources. Each of the three large classes still encompasses several of the physical classes. We compare the performance of classifications into two and three classes. We calculate the receiver operating characteristic curves for two-class classification, where in case of three classes we sum the probabilities of the sub-classes in order to obtain the class probabilities for the two large classes. We also compare precision, recall, and reliability diagrams in the two- and three-class cases. arXiv: http://arxiv.org/abs/http://arxiv.org/abs/2209.10236v1

Hello listeners and welcome back to another episode of World Forge! We're back this week talking about how to use feasts, banquets, and fancy dinner parties as a way to help tell better stories! What restrictions, if any, should be placed on multiclassing at your table? What requirements, if any, should a DM make of their players who want to multiclass? Why? As part of a New Year Resolution to try new things in D&D, we have been making characters we wouldn't normally make, starting with a Druid-Warlock. It's a strange combo, but with a little creativity, we've come up with a cool pirate build for your next Swordcoast adventure. Or if you are looking to push the boundraies of all that is magically possible, we have a cleric-wizard that Jack recently tested in a one-shot game. As usual, we do everything we can to work against trope and find a way to bring something original to the characters, and hopefully something more interesting to the games they are in. We encourage you to steal as much as you want from these builds. Welcome to Like Dragon Like Son, a podcast hosted by Jay and Jack Oatway where they discuss everything D&D, from character builds to personal experiences. Stay tuned for new episodes on Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts. If you love Like Dragon Like Son and want to help us out, you can support us by sharing this podcast with your friends. It's the support of listeners like you which motivate us to put out more episodes, so thank you!

Welcome back listeners to another episode of World Forge! This week we're tackling another user suggested topic from our dear friend Jarred over at Monsters and Multiclass! Jarred recently shared with us that sometimes it can be difficult to create unique monk characters given their narrow definition in game, so we took it upon ourselves to try and explore some alternative approaches to the monk lifestyle! Speaking of Monsters and Multiclass, why don't you go and check them out?! They're a great group of friends and their show features a lot of great discussions about strange and unique combinations of DnD classes, and they've even had us on as guests! Go give a listen to their Monk/Artificers episode where I try and explain why Santa Claus is the best example of both classes in question! We also recommend you go and watch Any of Jackie Chan's Drunken Master movies, and the Ron Howard classic Cinderella Man! Both movies have excellent examples of characters we feel demonstrate the kind of discipline that's at the core of the monk class. This week was a really fun episode, and if YOU have any other ideas for topics we want to hear them! Please consider reaching out to us on twitter @worldforgepod or via email at worldforgepod@gmail.com! We also love to hear your feedback on our creations! If you have any ideas on how to improve upon what we've built on air please send them our way! Cette semaine, on traite du sujet assez complèxe qu'est le Multiclass à D&D 5e. Cette pratique plus avancée permet à un personnage de bénéficier des aptitudes de plusieurs classes en même temps. Hey everybody! I am Diana Dely, the Dungeon Mistress, and Executive Producer, of Multiclass Theater. We are so honored to be nominated for the Audio Verse Awards. We are a brand new, actual play, Dungeons and Dragons podcast. We are about midway through our second season now. We started in October of last year and have been going strong ever since. The show itself is an improvised adventure which follows a noble knight, a rebellious teenage girl, and a snarky six foot tall cat as they adventure around a homebrewed world and find adventure and hopefully learn a few things along the way. The episode we have for you today is Season 2 Episode 4, or as we call it Season 2 Chapter 4: "What's in a Name?" This episode was released on July 31 of this year. It has become a fan favorite. I think it illustrates our humor, our tone, and how we like to tell stories. It is actually the climax of a three-part adventure through a tower and you don't really need context other than to know the characters are exploring the tower of a dead wizard and were sent there to retrieve something from the top of it. It doesn't offer any spoilers for the overall story arc. It is really a stand-alone three part series. Again, this is Season 2 Chapter 4: "What's in a Name?" I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please vote for us. Thank you so much! http://multiclasstheater.com Twitter: @mctpod

This week on World Forge we're joined by two very special guests, Jarred and Kevin from the wonderful Monsters and Multiclass podcast! Monsters and Multiclass is a show about exploring weird multiclass options, so we decided it would be fun to build a party based on some of the wild and wacky combinations they've explored in episodes past! Monsters and Multiclass can be found on twitter @monsters_multi and on all major podcasting platforms. We definitely recommend you go and check out their show, as well as our other rec room recommendation this week: Cameron Day of Daylight Publications! We had the opportunity to look at The Garradrugh, a really interesting supplement published by Cam in an episode we released a few weeks ago, but it seemed fitting to talk about it again given the unique party composition we were able to explore today. The Garradrugh can be found here on drivethrurpg! As always, if you enjoyed this episode or want to share any feedback please consider reaching to us on on social media! We can be found on twitter @worldforgepod. We're also available via email at worldforgepod@gmail.com. We love to hear about all the ways you use and improve upon our ideas, and if you show us something really interesting we may just share it on air! And if you're feeling REALLY generous, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, or your podcasting app of choice! Leaving us a review is the best way to support this podcast for FREE, because it helps get our show in front of new listeners! We also want to thank James Duke for our amazing theme music, he can be found at jamesduke.info! Thanks again listeners, we'll be back again next week!
