Ice Cube hat Ende November sein 11. Studioalbum Man Down veröffentlicht.

“You should start a podcast,” they said, “It'll be fun.” And it has been—fun, rewarding, but also incredibly challenging. After another devastating episode loss due to tech issues with my new computer, I felt so defeated. My Ego was ready to quit, and I was almost convinced to follow. But I believe in showing the process—the good, the bad, and the messy, behind-the-scenes struggles—whether it's in my healing journey or producing this podcast. In this week's episode, I'm keeping it real and sharing what went down. Because, as they say, “shit happens,” but you can either quit or, as the late Aaliyah sang, “Dust yourself off and try again.” Thanks to all the Tami Talks listeners who continue to press play as I navigate this bumpy ride. Take a step into my world which was focused on The Grammys BIG TIME. But first I discuss how MY EGO almost caused me to fumble the bag BIG TIME. The Grammys happened and that inspired a tangential spiral which includes Drakes leak, the emptiness we feel without Wendy Williams, and how we will be embracing major change this season. Bring it on!
Our personalities reflect our heavenly or Aeonic inheritance, and that includes both our Self and our originating Egos. It is our Egos that go about this world interfacing with others and collecting memes. Our Egos are all different, whereas our Selfs are all the same. My Ego is only concerned with me, because that is the job of Ego—to take care of and serve the needs of my body. This function of Ego is selfish, but not inherently bad, naughty, or evil; it's the Ego doing its job.

Hello Beautiful Friends! Happy Christmas Eve & Christmas at this point! I hope you are well, here is a little episode I recorded and decided to share, it has been a struggle lately to actually share, I have recorded a few new episodes but sharing it has felt a bit too vulnerable/personal aka My Ego is getting in the way. But sharing in general has been a strange thing for me this year and pretty much since 2014 I have struggle with the desire to share and the point of why we share the things we share but that's for another philosophical conversation. So anyways, here are some of the things I mentioned on the episode: Empty nest syndrome isn't a clinical diagnosis. Instead, empty nest syndrome is a phenomenon in which parents experience feelings of sadness and loss when the last child leaves home. Although you might actively encourage your children to become independent, the experience of letting go can be painful. - Mayo Clinic Golden Repair Kintsugi (also known as kintsukuroi ("golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique. Hjem til Jul or Home For Christmas Perpetually single Johanne -- tired of the constant comments on her relationship status -- starts a 24-day hunt for a boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. - Nordic Netflix Page where I found a Language Partner: TandemPartners.org (one of best things for me in 2020) “We can feel pain and still know we are the lucky ones.” - Paulina Porizkov Questions to meditate on or write about on your journal: What do I want out of this world? What do I want out of this life? What is working in my life right now? What is not working in my life right now? What can I let go off entering this new year? Hello Lovely Friends, I hope you are all doing well! On today's episode I talk about loneliness, Seasonal Affective Disorder(SAD), briefly mention suicide, hope, my vision/hope for the future, travel, COVID, and of course you get a little bit of rambling moments from me. I hope you will resonate with today's episode. My Ego was desperately trying to trick me to not publish this episode and to record it again but I like my energy/vibration and enthusiasm in the episode. Therefore, I believe is important for me to share even when it feels uncomfortable. When we are vulnerable and share parts of ourselves we might feel uncomfortable sharing, it brings out inspiration in others and that's what is all about, we are here to inspire one another. Have you experienced SAD before? If yes, what are some of your best tips to manage SAD? Where would you love to travel, once things move forward? *Call someone you have not spoken too in a long time but you often thinking of calling, maybe a family member or a friend! Remember you can reach me @DGDisla Things I mentioned in the episode: Hygge FIKA Jonna Jinton Wim Hof Info that might be helpful if you are struggling and needing mental health support: Mental health helpline is assigned a common international telephone number in the EU / EEA. YouTube Version: https://youtu.be/-Q-DsBT-lxo This podcast was about a few things. My Ego, Jiu-jitsu, New UX Designers Obsession Tools (FreshUXers), Competition, Helping People, all that. If you haven't realized, I don't use a script for any of my podcasts. I like to talk about my life experiences and try to weave them into UX and see if there are any parallels. As UX Designers we have to be great storytellers and creating pictures for people so they can grasp our concepts. This podcast allows me to do just that. UX Design has a lot of moving parts, and the design part is something that I've mastered over the years. Since I've masted that part, my focus is more on the UX Strategy and business side of UX Design. With that said I hope you enjoy my stories. Like I always say! Minisode 54 Let Them Shadow You Teenagers and College aged people need help to narrow down career options. Be the guide for them. Let them come to your office and shadow you. An Hey. An episode coming out Dr Alex. Vitton and he does lots of TV appearances, so we're GONNA. Go over how to do videos on TV tips and tricks. If you want to prepare yourself, you can go to adoctorsperspective.net/marketing, and you will see the marketing series that we did a while back. Really great timeless information several episodes on videos there and that get your feet wet for his new take on it before to that but today. Making goals and taking small steps to get there. Remember. We might have high hopes high dreams for ourselves. But you just can't jump into a clinic and start seeing three hundred a week. Good luck. You might want to have a goal of fifty. I right, and all the growing pains go in. We were just talking about future casting in back casting, and all that on the last episode of the Minnesota. So you may want to double check on that one. One of the things when we're talking about goals. I feel bad I. Guess High School like you're eighteen going to college. Somehow you're supposed to know what in life you're going to do, so you go to college at first year? Maybe like this change of that later on, it's just so much information one of the things we can do in trying to find these careers. These things that will make us happy in life is the shadow other professionals I mean the numbers chatel Accountant. What are they do all day? Don't do one do like a corporate guy. Independently tax verses, maybe investments versus you know there's all kinds of different accountants and lawyers and. Doctors I mean goodness. If you went to a chiropractor, I didn't even know what an osteopath was for a long time, and then well so similar to Chiropractic in similar to medical doctor. Well, that's wild. What does a physical therapist job actually looked like a hospital setting versus a private practice sports versus knee Rehab. Right, and just kind of go through problem like when you're senior in high school. I guess I'm encouraging people. Mentor at this point mentor. These people kind of is. Can you give somebody? Could be the tell them to go out there and shadow Docs shadow other professionals, and most people cool with it I did that a ton throughout college with mostly Chiropractic and when I thinking about being an eye doctor shouts in different people to see what it looks like, and you start to really even as someone who's not even their feet wet in the program. I don't like this I do this while this is what your job really is. I don't want that at all so diverse. Try it out. That's what I would encourage. The listeners a few mentor. Have you talked to somebody WHO's trying to figure out WHAT THEY WANNA? Do in life all you just pick up the phone call. Most people are more welcome to come for a couple of hours and experience what they do these. That's been the experience that I've had like. They're always open arms. Sure come on down dress like this. Don't say nothing in the room If you have any questions, we can talk about it later. I mean I. Guess the kind of thing about somebody else. Hey I heard you. Could like. Watch what you do for a couple of hours. You're like oh! My Ego stroked a little bit by this person. Share come on down left the teach something all right. What is EGO? What is an egotistical person and why are they like that? How does our ego evolve and why it's a mirror or consciousness grower.
EP 41: MM: Just because some things are broken, doesn’t mean all things are broken Okay, I’m gonna preface this by saying I know this will totally sound like I am not listening to my own teachings. I have been a bit below the line lately and have been in a slight scarcity mindset. My podcast is not about having it all together or even claiming to know all of the answers. My intention for this podcast is to be raw and real, and sometimes that looks like showing up exactly as I am, flawed and insecure. I don’t think we truly seek perfection. I think we are really inspired by authenticity. So, I hope our conversations are more like we are having a glass of wine and chatting it up with soul-filled yummy info, rather than a teacher/student type vibe. So, here goes: I have been feeling old and broken. Not important. A has been. UGH just saying it out loud makes me cringe. I promise you my thoughts aren’t as bad as it just sounds out loud. Or maybe they are? Having a baby with new roles and responsibilities and changing identities and now having to really manage the little time I have to be with you has triggered my itty-bitty-shitty-committee in major ways. Maybe you can relate? Any change in our life, whether wanted or unwanted, triggers insecurities. Because I am not teaching as many yoga classes, I have been feeling, well, kind of broken. Lost. Unimportant. My inner critic has been loud since having a baby tricking me into believing thoughts like: “You’re not doing enough. You don’t have enough time to accomplish your goals. You’re too old. You’re not teaching enough. You will be forgotten.” Some of this is true. Since having a baby and not teaching as many yoga classes, other yogis have replaced my classes and those classes are thriving (without me). Very painful for my Ego. I’ve seen similar workshops that I used to teach now on the market taught by other yogis. I feel replaced and forgotten. My Ego quickly gets fired up by this, but when I tune into my True Self, I know this is just part of change. Things must die in order for rebirth to happen. Nature is a great example of this. So, my point is that although you may feel broken, not all things are broken. When I can realistically and honestly look at all of the abundance that surrounds me, then I can wake up to the opportunities and the things I am grateful for. Instead of being stuck in a dark hole and only seeing what isn’t working, I can shift my perspective and open to the opportunities of change. Only when I am open I can receive the gifts from the Universe. If I am still in the dark hole, I will never see it or appreciate these gifts. For example, just this past week, I was asked to be a lululemon ambassador – again! This will be my 3rd time as an ambassador. In the fitness world, it’s a big deal, especially when a store asks you to come on a second time. This rarely happens! There are so many great influencers and fitness and yoga instructors, so it makes sense that every 2 years a new one is chosen to represent the city and store. At a time where I am experiencing a lot of transition, not only in my personal life with the loss of my dad and birth or my daughter, but also in my career life with reducing teaching yoga classes and trying to have more influence online through creating my Soul School program and hosting my podcast… all of this change can be scary. This was a major gift to me as a reminder that life and our roles ebb and flow. We must flow with life in order to truly experience it fully. Otherwise we would just see everything as broken. When I asked lululemon why they picked me, they said that one of their values in the company is GROWTH. It’s not about how many yoga classes I am teaching, but about how I am continually growing as a human to expand my impact in our community. I cried – like bawled like a child cry. Even though I may feel broken, not all things are broken. I am truly grateful that this company believes in me when my belief in myself was shaky. It is a reminder to get out of our own way and still see the good through the uncertainty. There are a ton of incredibly talented yoga teachers in our community, and I am thankful they chose me: a mom, who is lovingly trying to keep her shit together, shower daily and change the world. So, right now friend, think of how you are supported. Expand your thinking and see the creative ways the Universe is opening up doors for you. Pull yourself out of that dark hole and see what is blooming. Just because you may feel broken, please don’t see all things as broken. You are loved, adored, and supported. Open your eyes. Celebrate yourself. And most importantly give yourself grace. I would love to hear from you on my blog, Instagram or Facebook
It's not easy to let others know how deep you're in a hole that you created. It was not easy to look into my mother's eyes and say that, "I'm fine." Because I wasn't fine. I wasn't okay. I wasn't myself. My Ego took its turn and I let it drive me into a dark place. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ka-thao/support

This February marked the biggest turning point in my life, I had a spiritual awakening. After a series of synchronicities and miracles, I finally had a deep knowing of my authentic self and my true nature of being. My Ego was still present but it was dominated by my authentic self and the energy I was bringing forth. Much like darkness fades when you introduce light. It was amazing, for the first time in years, I felt confident, I felt I was whole, no “thing” can make me happier than I am because inside of me was the entire universe, the state of being I was living from was total love, abundance, joy, and peace. Out of this excitement, I started writing about my experiences and record videos, trying to help others get to where I was. Slowly but surely, the ego crept underneath my intentions. Disguising itself as me, I started to identify with this part of myself. My self-worth began to be defined by worldly things like accomplishments, friends, achievements, mistakes, possessions or the lack thereof. I started judging others for their actions. Expecting the whole world to behave like I was. Assuming that because they were not like me they must be slothful, indecisive or selfish. Possessions, accomplishments, friends, and mistakes are not inherently bad whatsoever. It's the attachment and identification with these things that set us up on a never-ending hamster wheel of striving and never arriving. Wanting something we don't have, assuming we won't be truly whole without it. Regretting past decisions assuming our lives would be perfect if we had done something differently. I experienced all of this and the pain that the ego brings forth when your life is going according to plan. Yesterday I stumbled upon a video I'd made 6 months ago. It blew away to see how far of my spiritual path I had become. The lower vibrations of problems and stresses had slowly taken me down and looking back I realized something needed to change. After a series of meditations and journal entries and reading the Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer, I've reintroduced the light inside of me and the darkness has faded away… for now. I will write about how I bounced back from the darkest depths of my mind in hopes that it might help someone out there who is, unfortunately, dealing with the same circumstance. Or at the very least, 6 months from now, if I get lost, I can look back at my past self and take my own advice. 1 — Realize your connection to everything. This is something I never spoke about before because I didn't quite understand it until I started getting into deeper meditations. At a certain stage of meditation when everything becomes still, the moment is infinite. It feels like it has never started, and it will never end. It just is, always has been, and always will be. This is where everything in this illusory world of duality began. A birthless, deathless, infinite space. If this source is what has created everything then it is what connects all of us. George Harrison sang “Arrive without traveling, see all without looking, do all without doing.” Quoting Lao Tzu, I think he was telling us, we can't acquire what we already have within us. You can know all, and see all just by reaching that place of undividable silence within you. The lyrics to my next song are there, all guidance I could possibly ask for is there. I will go more in-depth on this subject once I gather more experience with meditation. So far though, I am loving the bliss I carry after a wonderful dose of this silent time with source. 2 — Let go, surrender and trust. I'm currently writing a song about a moment of surrender I had this summer while swimming far out into crashing waves during a rainstorm. I was fed up with the regrets and problems that I was carrying and I had no clue how to let go of these problems. So I swam until my friends at the shore seemed like specs in the distance. I then decided to let go of all desire to want things to be different. (ins
