We hear the word “surrender” all the time in spirituality, but what does it actually mean?   For most of my life, surrender didn't make sense. My mom fled war in Iran, my dad too, and everything I learned growing up was about fighting for freedom, not giving in. So when people said “just surrender,” I thought it meant giving up.   It wasn't until my marriage ended that I learned what real surrender was. I didn't have a choice anymore. I had to trust that Spirit was guiding me somewhere greater, even if I couldn't see where. That moment opened the door to a year of complete flow. I left everything behind, traveled the world with one suitcase, and discovered new archetypes within myself that I never knew existed.   But eventually, I realized there's a paradox in all of this. If we only surrender, we can lose direction. If we only control, we block the magic. This is my last solo cast in my LA home studio. I'm sitting here surrounded by boxes, bags, and so many memories—taking time to reflect on my inner world. Because in this season of my life, I'm not running from anything. I'm simply listening to Spirit whisper: there's more, it's time. I've lived in LA on and off for the past seven years. My friends are here. My life is here. But now, it's time to enter a new chapter—a chapter of expansion, love, sacred sites, and mysteries.   Before I had this platform, this podcast, and all of you, I wasn't on a spiritual path. I didn't grow up thinking about spirituality or even seeking it. My only desire at the time was to bring my period back, heal my body, and stop being in pain. I had gone through perimenopause at 21. I couldn't digest food. My body was shutting down. That desire to heal became the gateway. And that path took me into the mind-body connection, and eventually into the spiritual journey.   And every one of those hardships became the exact fire I needed to walk through to become who I am today.   So we ask ourselves—can we spiritually grow without going through such hard lessons and heartbreak? After my marriage ended, I was grasping for something to hold onto. My friends were like, “Come to Bali, it's the perfect place to heal!” Waterfalls, ecstatic dance, sunshine—yes, please. So I packed my bags and flew across the world, thinking I'd be wrapped in adventure and good vibes.   But Spirit had other plans.   The very next day, my friends had to leave the country unexpectedly. And just like that, I was alone. In Bali.

You know those relationships that feel destined? The ones that start hot and heavy, full of synchronicities and deep emotions—only to shake you to your core? Yep, we're talking about those.  

SEASON 3 EPISODE 91: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Karoline Leavitt was already so stupid that she once on-air insisted there was a word pronounced "damaning" (as in 'the evidence is damaning') and pronounced the Nazi monster's name as "Hilter." Now with one tweet she may have topped herself. How do you publicly announce that the spending freeze struck down by a federal judge wasn't withdrawn, only its ANNOUNCEMENT was withdrawn, and only in response to the judge's ruling, and the freeze is going on as planned? That's called contempt of court. Trump's lawyers will literally have to talk their way out of spending a day behind bars. Besides which, another judge has said the conflicting statements about the freeze pause are irrelevant: it cannot proceed. This all underscores what has been evident since Trump again seized power. He is burning through the relative approval and patience of an exhausted America far more quickly this time than last, and there is a reckoning coming. His disapproval number jumped SEVEN points from last Tuesday to this past Sunday. The judges are fighting back. His hirelings are idiots. The public doesn't want this. Hopefully what follows is not unprecedented. B-Block (28:50) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Washington Post continues to trivialize and normalize the Madness of King Trump. Lauren Boebert is an actual expert on laboring with your hands, so I guess her opinion on how the minimum wage is too HIGH matters. And it's Anna Paulina Luna who finally gives in and proposes a bill to put Trump's head on Mt. Rushmore. Unfortunately she's phrased it in such a way that it could mean LITERALLY: put Trump's head ON Mt. Rushmore.
