This week, we bring you one of our best-loved episodes about Latinas in the entertainment industry. Calderón Kellett runs the show. Literally. She's the co-showrunner and executive producer of Netflix's One Day at a Time, and with each season, she'd adding more credits to that list: writer, director and actor. She talks with Alicia about her rise through Hollywood's writers' rooms (How I Met Your Mother, Devious Maids, and Drunk History), and argues for letting good things be good. And reveals her plans to take her storytelling to the next level. Follow Gloria on instagram @gloriakellett. About Ky Logue I'm Ky Logue, an entrepreneur deeply rooted in the real estate investment world, a coach, and the mind behind both the "Wholesaling Syndicate" Podcast and the transformative "We Buy Sad Houses" initiative. My journey in this industry is not just about transactions; it's about transformation—of properties, lives, and mindsets. Growing up, I faced my share of challenges, but those obstacles became the stepping stones on my path to success. They taught me resilience, the power of a positive mindset, and the importance of taking life one day at a time (ODAAT). These lessons fueled my passion for real estate and my mission to help others escape the grip of negativity and poverty. Beyond my professional life, I'm an avid storyteller and a believer in the power of shared experiences. Through my ODAAT Podcast, I delve into the stories of individuals who've crafted lives of purpose by overcoming adversity. My goal is to inspire, educate, and empower others to design the life they deserve, using real estate as a vehicle for financial freedom and personal growth. https://wholesalingsyndicate.com/podcast/ https://www.facebook.com/TheRealKyLogue/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/kylogue/ https://www.youtube.com/@KyLogue ------------------------------------------------------ Collabpalooza Solopreneur Automation Summit https://collabpalooza.com When It Worked Podcast https://getoffthedamnphone.com/podcast00:00:00Intro 00:00:00 Intro 00:01:50 How Did I Get Into Flipping Houses? 00:02:12 Real Estate Wholesaling, Long Journey, Success 00:02:52 Real Estate Career Overcomes Limiting Beliefs 00:03:13 Growing Up With Dreams Of Real Estate Career 00:03:45 Real Estate Wholesaling No Credit, No Experience 00:04:06 Wholesaling Real Estate 00:07:04 Tips And Tricks For Finding Deals 00:11:08 Benefits Of Wholesaling For Investors 00:14:06 Different Paths In Real Estate 00:14:46 Podcast Real Estate Wholesaling Syndicate 00:16:44 Missouri Market Excited For Mastermind Training 00:17:04 Using Ai To Find Best Markets 00:18:40 Get Hold Of B Via Social Media 00:19:06 Kais Podcast Great Tips And Info

The interview we were most excited to drop has become the Episode we hoped we'd never have to share. In this Episode, Producer Char does a very somber open to the show to announce the passing our beautiful and beloved Dayna Keyes... she shares a little bit about Dayna and some thoughts on the future of the podcast. Then she tosses to Dayna's last official interview... with none other than rock guitar legend Dave Navarro, of Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers fame. Dave has a new art exhibit called Duel Diagnosis, currently running at the West Chelsea Contemporary in Austin Texas. it had debuted during the SXSW Festival last month, and its mission seeks to bring new perspectives and a deeper understanding to the experience of mental health through their artistic endeavors. Their raw and vulnerable artworks create a space for reflection and connection.Duel Diagnosis began with a conversation. In fact, the conversation had nothing to do with clothing or starting a movement. It was just a conversation between Dave and PADHiA, two friends who failed to shave their jagged edges off and fit in somewhere “normal”. And… all the weird, challenging, and also beautiful feelz that go along with that. The isolation, the disconnect, the inspiration, the gratitude, the shame, and the great humor- as our realities are so beyond our own imagination that it requires the injection of at least one familiar human instinct to be comprehendible. We believe you are one of us.And there are others like us who will come into the light as we become more visible. For more from Dave Navarro & to learn more about Duel Diagnosis, visit the website.Follow on Social Media: @DaveNavarro & @DuelDiagnosisTo support awareness on addiction & mental health in Dayna's honor, please donate to The Dayna Keyes Memorial Fund. Seija Sisko Rohkea [Instagram: @seijack49], also known as Jack, is a 56-year-old female born human with an identity that never matched their internal sense of self. Jack has battled alcoholism, self-mutilation, sexual abuse and homelessness. Jack is a high school drop-out, a teenage runaway and is an immigrant from Finland adopted into an American family who they divorced them self from completely. But that was then. At the age of 35, Jack began attending community college and shortly thereafter got sober – 13 years later, Jack earned a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in museum studies. Since then, they have enjoyed the world of art as it pertains to representing human experiences that spans topics from social injustices to personal identities. Who is Jack today? Jack is a human having adult experiences due to recently coming out to family and friends as non-binary. The journey has been arduous, rewarding and humbling, sometimes all rolled into one (no wonder their past was filled with such angst). Today, Jack is an art historian, a college professor, a social activist who is currently focusing on removing the Eurocentric lens through which art history is taught in college to bringing awareness for a safe environment for trans and non-binary students on college campuses where they currently teach. A full life with purpose is worth living – it takes SISU to continue moving forward and that term is sewn on Jacks skin and permeates every fiber within – SISU has enabled Jack to continue on a journey that only those who battle similar circumstances can understand.

In this episode I challenge you to ask yourself if you are performing from a place of FEAR or FACTS. Are you continuously making decisions based on your fears of something new or are you ready to lay down the facts and give it a shot? Most of us spend so much time curating the perfect scenario and we love being in control, but how much risk are you taking when you're in control? Close to none. Take some risks, chica. Forget about the past fears and focus on the facts of the present. ---- Karina F. Daves Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/karinafdaves/ Karina F. In this week's episode, D.J. talks with fellow podcaster and friend in recovery, Arlina of the ODAAT(One Day at a Time) Chat podcast. Arlina Allen speaks openly about her 23 years of sobriety, as well as her years of active addiction to drugs, alcohol, and men. Arlina goes on to share about early childhood abuse; using drugs and alcohol to numb painful emotions; and what it was like living in insanity. For Arlina, it all came down to a spiritual solution, regardless of the various addictions plaguing her life. She had to start at Step One and fight hard to maintain her sobriety one day at a time. Arlina and D.J. also talk recovery resources including self-care tips, having chickens in the backyard and using nail art to find solace when thing are feeling overwhelming.
