Initially, Betty's daughter, Della-Lisa Gray, felt indifferent due to her grief. However, her perception changed when she visited the school. Betty Gray Middle School was established in August, serving students in grades 6-8. It is a tribute to Betty Gray's remarkable career, from her beginnings as a teacher to becoming one of the district's first female administrators and principals. The school underwent a $9 million renovation before opening. Betty Gray's dedication to education and her ability to teach English made a lasting impact. She also served 16 years on the Cobb Board of Education, representing South Cobb. Betty Gray is remembered as a trailblazer and advocate for her community. General Manager Alex Anthopoulos is tasked with finding solutions to avoid such outcomes in the future. The team's historic offense underperformed in the playoffs against the Philadelphia Phillies, despite leading MLB in runs and home runs during the regular season. The opening was delayed by two months due to supply chain issues. The school, funded by special-purpose local-option sales tax revenues, now features 61 permanent classrooms, more restrooms, a larger gym, additional art rooms, and two playground sets. The old building was too small to accommodate the growing student population. The expanded capacity allows the school district to handle future growth without major redistricting. Teachers and staff are excited about the improved facilities, and the move has been positively received by students. STORY 5: The Marietta Community Reads program encourages community-wide shared reading for young members of the community. The initiative involves 12 childcare centers in Marietta, including the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center, focusing on the same books and themes each month. Drei Serien, die von vielen von Euch auf den Jahresbestenlisten standen, sind mit neuen Staffeln zurück. Bereits in die dritte Runde geht bei Disney+ "Only Murders in the Building" (4:36) mit Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, Martin Short und - neu - Meryl Streep. Die Tatsache, dass die meistdekorierte Schauspielerin aller Zeiten der Serie ihre Ehre erweist ist Grund genug, dass Michael und Rüdiger ihr nach der - für sie - enttäuschenden zweiten Staffel noch einmal eine Chance geben. Etwas, was die Serie allerdings für einen von ihnen nicht genutzt hat. Im Anschluss kehrt "Heartstopper" (24:20) zu Netflix zurück, die für Rüdiger zumindest eine lobende Erwähnung wert war. Die Adaption des Webcomics / der Graphic Novel von Alice Oseman sorgt bei unseren beiden Podcastern für eine kleine Diskussion über den Wert seichter Unterhaltung. Das kann man von "Winning Time" (37:38) beileibe nicht behaupten. Die Serie über die Los Angeles Lakers der 1980er Jahre war für Michael und Rüdiger eine Offenbarung und man kann schon mal vorwegnehmen, dass auch die neuen Folgen (Sky, vorerst nut OmU) bei uns zu einem verbalen Alley-oop der Begeisterung führen. Zum Abschluss geht es dann noch um eine neue Serie. "Slip" (55:54) ist quasi die Orgasmus-Variation von "Matrioschka". Kann sie auch bei Michael und Rüdiger für Höhepunkte sorgen? Cold-Open-Frage: "Pitche ein Reboot von ,Suits'"
