Nach einem anstrengenden Wochenende auf der Gamescom in Köln melden wir uns heute mit einem Podcast zurück. Dazu begrüßen wir einen ganz besonderen Gast, der sich in seiner Szene auskennt wie kaum ein Zweiter. Die Rede ist von Marius 'verdi' Lauer, seines Zeichens Caster, Analyst und Streamer in Rainbow Six Siege. Marius ist der erste Gast bei Esport-Talk, der uns etwas über das Spiel von Ubisoft erzählt. Er erklärt uns, worum es genau bei R6S geht und wo das Spiel derzeit im Esport seine Nische hat. Rainbow Six: Eine Alternative zu CS:GO? Der Taktik-Shooter ist seit 2015 auf dem Markt und wird auch seitdem kompetitiv gespielt. Dennoch kann R6S von der Größe her noch lange nicht mit dem Genre-Primus Counter-Strike: Global Offensive mithalten. Was genau macht das Spiel also anders, um ein Publikum anzulocken? Obwohl beide Titel FPS sind, spielt sich das Tom Clancy Game komplett anders als Valves Produkt. Doch wie lockt man eine größere Zuschauerschaft an? Und was kann R6S den Fans im Gegensatz zu CS:GO  bieten? PENTA ist die Macht Verdi ist bei PENTA Sports, obwohl er selber nicht als Progamer für das Team spielt. Was genau seine Aufgaben dort sind erfahrt ihr natürlich auch im Podcast. Dennoch wollen wir hier nicht unerwähnt lassen, dass PENTA derzeit schier unaufhaltbar in der Szene scheint. Das Team konnte die letzten beiden Pro League Finals gewinnen –  erst am Samstag holte sich PENTA den zweiten Titel auf der Gamescom. Und das, ohne eine einzige Map zu droppen. Glückwunsch! Blick in die Zukunft Wo wird die Reise mit Rainbow Six für Marius hingehen? Da der Esport stetig wächst, ist wohl auch ein Wachstum des Shooters wahrscheinlich.
