Grizzly On The Hunt - Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Cryptids, Paranormal, Aliens, UFO's and More!
This week 4-14-23 at 6:00 PM EST TIME! New cases to review from viewers? The FBI continues to ask for tips in connection to the disappearance of Michigan mother-of-8, Heather Mae Kelly, whose blood was found inside her abandoned vehicle in December. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office provided an update Tuesday after the FBI said there is “evidence to suggest” 35-year-old Kelley is a homicide victim. Her family reportedly said that her boyfriend is a person of interest but he's not been named as a suspect in her disappearance. He's currently being held on a charge unrelated to the case and is scheduled for jail release on April 26. As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kelley was last seen in the Comstock Township area on December 10, 2022, a day before her cousin found her car abandoned and set on fire. Investigators said her blood was found inside the vehicle and police found some of her clothing nearby. Kelley's boyfriend was reportedly finishing up sentencing at a halfway house in Kalamazoo at the time she disappeared. Kelley's cousin told police that the halfway house, located at 537 Chicago Ave., is a few miles from where she found Kelley's car. The cousin also saw a red pickup truck speeding away from the area the moment after she arrived, adding that she arrived shortly after someone set Kelley's car on fire. Police said on Tuesday that there is evidence that places a person of interest with Kelley before her disappearance, but declined to provide the person's name. There is currently more than one person being investigated, the sheriff added. “We know that it's likely somebody helped with the burning of the vehicle and the possible destruction of other evidence. And so that person is also a person, or people are also a focus of this investigation,” the sheriff said during the press statement. Court documents indicate that the boyfriend was serving the sentence for a murder-for-hire plot cocaine distribution charge, Wood TV reports. DNA is currently being processed in the case, the sheriff added. “Anyone with information is asked to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office at (269) 383-8748 or the Portage Department of Public Safety at (269) 329-4567,” the FBI said. “You may also contact your local FBI office, the nearest American Embassy or Consulate, or you can submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.” The crimes most commonly include murder; about 40 percent focus on tales of serial killers. 1 2] True crime comes in many forms, such as books, films, podcasts, and television shows. Grizzly on the hunt along with Shalyn Rodgers returns to The Paranormal and True Crimes Show! Real People! Real Stories! Real Facts! We will be covering two different cases that are still be spoken about. You have to tune in and find out! This is going to be interesting ! Everyone please welcome Shalyn Rodgers, but most people call her Sha for short. Sha states that I knew at a very young age that I wanted to help people after witnessing the traumatic death of my grandpa, but it was the comfort I felt later that night when he returned. The compassion in his eyes and gentle toe tug is now the last memory of him, as I'm sure that was his intention. That led me to the medical field where I excelled at for 23 years and absolutely loved. In 2021, I suffered a serious condition that led to a permanent spinal cord injury, other conditions and deficits. I was told I would not be able to work and that was a bigger blow than my actual health. Since some of them will continue to progress rapidly if I even tried, I had to comes to terms with the harsh reality I was facing. One thing still remained within me... the need to help someone in someway somehow! A year prior to this event, I became an administrator for 2 national missing sites. I decided to become involved because I lost a child myself. It wasn't a missing situation, but knowing there are families out there who have missing or murdered loved ones hurts my heart. Being part of something that could lead to a reunion, justice or closure to the families is important to me. Good people doing good things make a difference! I look forward to being part of this wonderful journey! I prefer that people get to know me through conversations, actions, and attributes over a description of words. I'm easy going and an open book, feel free to ask anything. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/grizzly-onthehunt/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/grizzly-onthehunt/support

It's the final episode of Beyond Weight - and today, Jill is speaking with Shalyn Yamanaka-Wong. Shalyn is a dietitian who helps families turn stressful mealtimes into relaxing, enjoyable meals. She understands schools and parents struggles with feeding children and helps them raise children with a positive relationship with food and their bodies. She currently lives in Singapore, but works with schools and families all over the world... and today we're talking about Nutrition in Schools! In this episode, we discuss: The realization that the life-long struggle with food and body starts young - and schools enforce it Nutrition messaging in schools - it comes from the curriculum and also from the people who teach and care for our children, most of whom have no nutrition education When parents affect the curriculum and nutrition messaging at school The unrealistic, and sometimes conflicting, expectations parents have for their children and eating...and why it makes everyone feel like they're failing Worries about the quality of food AND the quantity of food kids are eating while at school How do we learn to trust kids with sugar? The challenge of teaching about food in school when eating is often a curriculum and schedule afterthought Kids aren't eating at the right times and aren't given enough time to eat How food insecurity changes parental concerns The ideal way to teach nutrition in schools Learning to feed our kids is an ongoing journey and we're never done learning! In this episode, which could be a two parter, but it’s all in one, I sit down with Shalyn Nelson. She is truly an open book and shares what exactly happened with her birth story, why she’ll never have an epidural again, and the chronic pain that’s come from having one the first time around. She also opens up about mental health, her diagnosis of androgenetic alopecia and how she’s handling all of these things in her life. Things lighten up when Shay talks about her husband and how they actually fight, even though social media may make you think they don’t. She also touches on how she never actually tried to grow a social media following, but the followers came because she never strays from being 100% herself. We end things with a new segment, Bitching with Becca, and we also share our current favorite things right now. Items linked below. Becca’s Favorites: Ole Henrikson Balance line, Drunk Elephant Glycolic Serum, Ole Henrikson Goodnight Glow Creme Shay’s Favorites: Skinceuticals products Find Shalyn online: Instagram, Blog, Photography Website Socials: @herthingpodcast --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Join us this week as we welcome the Country music trio, The Joseph Sisters. Blending classic country sounds with modern sex appeal and style, these ladies have what it takes to become the next Country music icons. The sisters showcase a variety of awesome country covers along with their own country hits. The Joseph Sisters have been singing together since before they can remember. They began performing on stage in church and school activities. They are always being asked if they are really sisters. They are, and all three agree that they are each others best friends. In 2011, the girls established their own group and have become one of the Mid-Atlantic’s fastest growing country groups. Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn’s unique sounds blend well together in effervescent harmonies. The have opened for artists such as Toby Keith, Jerrod Neimann, Aaron Lewis, The Clarks, Phil Vasser, and The Oak Ridge Boys. In 2015, these ladies completed their first live concert DVD with Blues Alley Records and RMA called “Unscripted”. These ladies have also performed at numerous fairs, festivals, and casinos. While the sisters are on tour this upcoming spring and summer, they will also be completing their next album featuring each of their own unique sound. We will talk to The Joseph Sisters about their upcoming schedule, get a behind their scenes look at their music, feature their latest songs, and ask them to share their message for the troops. Please visit The Joseph Sisters at http://www.thejosephsisters.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with them during the show (718) 766-4193. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. As always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
