#80In this heartfelt episode I am joined by a 2x Olympian and World Champion athelete Olivia Smoliga who shares about her transformative journey towards self-acceptance and inner peace. As a world-class swimmer who shone at the Japan 2023 Olympics, Olivia reflects on how she has grown more comfortable and authentic with herself, overcoming past social anxieties and embracing her true self. She describes her deepening relationship with herself and the joy of loving every aspect of who she is, including her quirks and imperfections. It's been a true honour and joy to work with Olivia as my private client and inside of The Field mastermind.Olivia shares how tapping into her spiritual side and expanding her consciousness has led her to a place where external validation no longer defines her worth; instead, she finds fulfillment in her intrinsic self-love and continuous personal growth. In her own words:“After facing burnout and bouts of depression and anxiety sprinkled throughout my career, I was yearning for an expansion into a new stage of my life. One where I was connected to my femininity and womanhood, knowing this would guide me into a deeper appreciation of myself, filled with revelations embedded within my body, that I felt I couldn't grasp by just using her mind. Within Sofia's mentorship container, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Classes, modules, courses about womanhood, wealth, and emotional regulation, to name a few. All presented in very unique ways - specifically with the intention of dropping into the body - somatic practices, for those familiar. Not only was I able to experience the breadth of this wisdom - drawn from yoga, Tantra, Taosim, Buddhism, and transpersonal psychology, I felt my biggest transformations being mentored 1-on-1 with Sofia. Here I unpacked wounds, triggers, blocks and veils that stood in the way of embracing the fullness of my being. It was with this sacred work that I found what I always wanted - a freedom to be all that I am.”Olivia's story is a testament to the power of self-discovery and the beauty of living authentically. Tune in to hear how Olivia's journey of embracing her whole self has not only enriched her personal life but also enhanced her athletic achievements.Connect with Olivia through her Instagram @osmoliga.If you desire to be in a mentorship container with people who go for it ALL in Life and encourage you to do the same - look into The Field Mastermind.

Qigong and Ancient Taoism have been focusing on the males libido for many thousands of years. Why has modern society forgotten this most essential element to the male libido and his vitality? There are very few meditation podcasts or even scripts dedicated to enhancing a healthy male libido meditation on the market and in any language. I have put together a brief introduction about the importance of focusing on a healthy male sexual orientation through Qigong and Taoism so that the listener can appreciate the ancient roots behind this concept. I have also researched ancient records about male vitality and have the great pleasure to introduce the 2 Stages of the male meditation technique taken from Taosim and put into a much simpler but effective method for you to practice in this podcast. This is a NEW SEASON row of Podcasts towards male meditation and health. Something, which is often neglected in some circles or there is too much emphasis on one particular type of male fitness and health. Mindfulness and Meditation techniques work wonders with many stressed out men. When men suffer from a lot of stress, fear, low self-esteem and anxiety, the first thing that is affected is their libido! The meditation is divided into 2 stages: 1st Stage is getting the body to completely relax before one can enter the door of the 2nd Stage of the sexual visualisation with an imaginary or real "partner". Please do not go into the 2nd Stage without successfully completing the 1st Stage of relaxation. Special message: Ever wonder why "The Law of Attraction" is not working for you? Quite simply because your mind is like a magnet attracting toxic thoughts all day and into your sleep patterns at night. Your mind is not at rest with itself. Mindfulness and Meditation will "quieten" your mind before sleep that you will wake up feeling refreshed and focused on positive thoughts. My meditations combat toxic thoughts which lead to depression, anxiety, worries, sadness, loneliness and despair. All my meditations relax your mind by allowing your brain to focus on positivity and closing the door to toxitivity. JUST TRY IT! More than two decades ago, The Tao of Health, Sex, and Longevity by Daniel Reid became a pivotal book in guiding my life journey toward natural medicine and healing philosophies. His prolific writings on Chinese Medicine, Martial Arts, Taoism, Nutrition, and Tea have likely shaped countless other personal journeys. Daniel's life is replete with rich experiences and cultures. Growing up in East Africa and then studying in California, his early life was influenced by the free-spirited recreational drug culture of the day. While listening to the introductory university lecture in Chinese history that would shape the direction of his life and life's work, Daniel was tripping on LSD. After earning a Master's degree in Chinese Language and Civilization, he moved to Taiwan and spent the next 16 years luxuriating in the culture of ancient philosophy, healing, and nightlife. He eventually relocated to Byron Bay, Australia, with his wife, and they now reside in Thailand. Daniel is a scholar of many topics, and we leap into several of them here, including sexual healing arts, Taoism, Qi Gong, and high mountain oolong tea. We also talk about some of the escapades that comprise his two-part memoir, Shots from the Hip. Daniel's life has been a constant dance with the principles of Taosim, and even today, living in a foreign country and time where his freedoms are restricted, he draws on teachings of sages to find the Way. His candor is refreshing, his humour alluring, and his wisdom well-earned. Please enjoy this episode of Salish Wolf with Daniel Reid.
